Absolutely a fantastic experience. Very well organised and a wonderful holiday. Would recommend to all.
Absolutely amazing experience. We had WIN our fabulous driver for the 5 day tour, who was always there whenever we needed anything. He kept us safe at all times. The views, the temples, the food - omg the food was all brilliant. We had a fun crew and all got along. Boyz was a fun tour leader and always had a story or two to tell. Highly recommend this adventure if you are looking for something different with a real cultural element
We had such a brilliant day with The Tuk Tuk Club - we loved our orange tuk tuks, and from the very moment we were picked up in Chaing Mai our guides were so friendly and fun. Driving around in the Tuk tuks was great fun, feeding the elephants and getting to walk with them to the river was just an unforgettable experience, and rafting in the rain was also amazing. They couldn’t have taken better care of us - everything was thought of. We (family of four, 2x teenage children) had the best day. And we saw LOADS of elephants! Thoroughly recommended
Our tour with Boyz was amazing! Our whole family loved it, including our kids. From riding the tuk tuk through the countryside, seeing the farmers working in the rice patties, to the amazing time with the elephants and lastly rafting down the river, every minute was fantastic. The whole tuk tuk club team was amazing and so attentive. They really gave us a top experience.
We had the best experience and amazing time. Great photo opportunities. Our guide Mr Big was fantastic and had a lot of knowledge on places We visited.
Fab one day tour by tour guide Big. Tuk Tuk through county side up to a remote private temple with a fantastic 360 degree view but many steps. Then on to the long neck village. His knowledge of the tribes and governance was outstanding and an education. On to a view point to see Burma and Laos on the coast of Thailand. Lunch was the best we had on our 31 days in Thailand. Elephant time. But this was not a so called sanctuary. It was a private safe place. Yes the elephants had keepers but they were free. Not made to do anything. They were fed and we were allowed to give them desert. Their trunks fort for the cane and bananas. But no commands . Just play. They need walking after lunch so we walked with them. Told not to get in front of them. They just strolled along, eating vegetation. Rolling in mad which I did get in the direct line of babies trunk full of muddy water which the guide and my parter thought was very funny. Great fun and no tricks or any other unnatural control. Our guide had been a keeper there in the past and knew each one of them by name. We were the only ones there. On to another view point of the main river used for importing. Then to the river rafting which was great. My wife was not looking forward to this but had a ball. Starting in sunshine about 10 mins into the trip, the sky went black and the water faster. We could see the rain coming down in the distance. We ended up rafting in a full on thunder storm which actually made it more fun when the guide with the pole guiding the raft put a plastic bag on his head, keeping his head dry protecting from fever. We then had to get off at a rocky part of the river and scramble across giant wet rocks, which was great being 64 with leg issue but was accomplished bear foot. Back onto the raft. Expensive yes, but what a packed day. Back to our hotel where we had been picked up.
A really great day! Our guide, OA, was most entertaining, fun and energetic. He provided us a most enjoyable day and was great company from start to finish. An absolute highlight of our vacation in Thailand.
One of the coolest adventures we’ve ever done. Every part of the trip was beautiful and exciting. Big (our guide) was such a treasure. He taught us a lot about Northern Thailand and answered our many questions.
Everything about our experience with the Tuk Tuk Club was amazing from beginning to end. When I first reached out to Bruce to book he let me know that the day we wanted was full, but he was able to squeeze us in and was so easy to work with. The communication from Bruce was great and our transfer from Chiang Mai was on time and very comfortable. Our guide for the day, Yaya, was wonderful. We had the best time with her! Everything from touring the temples to walking with elephants and river rafting was perfectly planned. We managed to avoid all the crowds which was especially impressive since we visited during the festivals and there were definitely many people in the area. We highly recommend booking with the Tuk Tuk Club and touring with Yaya!
The Tuk Tuk Club 1 Day Adventure was absolutely wonderful, definitely one of the highlights of our whole trip to Thailand, which was amazing in itself. The organization was perfect and the attention paid to every detail was astounding. Bruce has a great team and some nice tuktuks there, congratulations! Our guides Nam and Juanita were perfect in every way, they made us feel safe, comfortable and always with big smiles, and very good explanations in perfect English (not so easy to find in Thailand, I might add!) and really amazing vibes with other people on the road and in the activities. The tuktuks in themselves were also very easy to drive, the crash course was really useful (and fun!). The activities were also brilliant. We had a great time with the elephants, one that we will not forget ever, for sure! Also the bamboo rafting (even though we had the exact same experience two days before, the one we did with The Tuk Tuk Club was, for some reason, far more enjoyable!), the temple visit… Food was also very good and the water bottles are a great souvenir! Bruce's attention was also perfect since the beginning and we are feeling very lucky to have been able to have had a spot with The Tuk Tuk Club for that day,.
Easily the best tour I’ve taken anywhere. Our guides were so kind and took us to incredible places we wouldn’t have found otherwise. If you can get a spot do it.
We loved everything about this trip. The experience of driving in a Tuk Tuk to places with few or no tourists. The area of Mae Nam is very beautiful and green. Lots of farming in this area. The waterfall, the temple ofcourse the elephants and the bamboo rafting to finish things of..it was all fantastic! Our guide was Naam. She is very easygoing, funny and very informative about everything we passed along the way and the activities. This tour is one of the best experiences we have had!
Our best day included pickup and drop off at our hotel. We were picked up in a luxury comfortable van by Leo and Nahm. Leo was the a driver and Nahm was a guide and Tuk Tuk driver. Travel to the Mae Wang district gave us a chance to get to know Nahm and Leo. Lots of laughs! Nahm is a fun person to spend the day with- her enthusiasm and experience is great. We appreciated all the information. Nahm went out of her way to meet our dietary concerns. Lunch was delicious and perfect! The Tuk Tuk was well equipped and clean. The Mae Want district is beautiful and we are so happy we chose to do this. Our best day so far! I highly recommend The Tuk Tuk Club!
This was the best experience of our entire trip to Thailand. Everything about this day was set up perfectly. The Tuk Tuk Club made us feel safe when learning to drive the Tuk Tuk, going through the town to get to the temple, visiting the elephants and bamboo rafting. It was a MUST DO experience when in Chiang Mai. Top customer and quality service.
Excellent day trip from Chiang Mai with great views, hidden gems, and adventure along the river. The Tuk Tuk Club made everything seamless, informative, and fun. Perfect for young and older children.
What an adventure! It started already with OA! What a nice, patience, polite, friendly and funny guide! We loved every minute of it. Driving the TukTuk ourselves was fantastic! Feeding the elephants, walking with them in the moussonrain and bathing with the elephants are wonderful memories . We loved seeing the countryside and especially the Forest Temple. The bamboo rafting was chill. And the coffee and dragonflys 🙈 at the end of our trip were a wonderful surprise. Tuk Tuk Club and OA, we got to see a part of Thailand in a way we didn’y expected. Thank you for this experience!
From the very start we knew this was going to be an amazing experience. Communication from the UK with Bruce was quick, informative and you could just sense that he had a passion for what he does. The TukTuk Club is something that everyone should experience if staying in Chiang Mai. While the old city is lovely, be sure to venture out into the countryside with Bruce's team of locals where you'll experience memories you'll never forget...from the back of a comfy tuk tuk! The TukTuks Bruce uses are different to those used in the city. You can see much more from them and they are much more comfortable. We chose to be driven rather than do self-drive which enabled us to take in more of our surroundings and make the most of our day. Also doing the chauffeur driven tour ensures you have your very own “guide” to take you around the different activities. Our wonderful guides - Oa and Milk - excelled in making sure we were comfortable and happy with the plans for the day. They were extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions about local culture and elephants! We got to see life in the countryside and learned the differences between rural and city temples as well as the life of monks. We had opportunities to buy from roadside sellers and had a lovely lunch (supplied by the club) at the foot of a beautiful waterfall. The chance to spend some time learning about the plight of the Asian elephant at a rescue centre was really rewarding and we had great fun, first feeding the elephants, and then walking them down to the nearby river for a well-earned bath. They love the water and it was a joy to watch them rolling around getting a good soak!!! We finished the afternoon with a trip on a bamboo raft – mostly relaxing but interspersed with a few exciting (but safe) moments. The whole day was thoroughly enjoyable and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a definite “must do” when visiting Chaing Mai.
This is the ABSOLUTE best tour I have ever been on. Yaya and Big our tour leaders were phenomenal. They truly enjoy their work and it is evident in their knowledge and professionalism. They have a great sense of humor too, which always adds so much value to a tour. They took care to make sure we were always safe and enjoying ourselves. The elephants were the highlight of the tour and you could tell they loved the elephants as part of their own family. I will definitely recommend this tour. Also, Bruce the owner of the company was so nice and helpful with his correspondence. Top notch tour company!!!!
Just finished a great day out. Everything was extremely well organised from the moment of booking all the way through to being dropped off at our hotel. We were a family of 4, two kids aged 9 and 11. Easily the best day we have had in Thailand after 10 visits. The freedom to explore, the little stops along the way to try local fruit and snacks, the knowledge and smiles from Boyce and Win. It was exactly as Bruce and the website advertised, just better. I am now thinking ahead to a multi day tour and driving myself. Cannot recommend this experience, company and its people enough.
Bruce and Ya ya were amazing and had so much knowledge to share! My friend and I did tow days of guided tours and I am so glad that we did. Everything was planned for us and it was amazing. We were able to bathe with the elephants, ride a raft, see amazing temples, and meet locals who were thrilled to share their lives with us. Because I live and teach in Bangkok, I am already planning what I want to do with The Tuk Tuk company the next time I'm in Northern Thailand. I plan on recommending this tour to all of my colleagues and friends.
We had a brilliant day out with the TukTuk Club, the scenery is breathtaking, the knowledgeable guides showed us hidden gems and it’s great fun ! Thank You, we will be back for more !
Overtime hotel pickup and transfer to Base Camp. There, the insanely friendly and funny staff gives an extensive introduction to the secrets of the Tuk Tuks and how to drive them. Since I had to change the vehicle during the briefing, I can confirm the claim that each has its own personality 🤣 After a short exam, there is a short drive to get used to over lonely side roads to a small temple. Afterwards, we head to the elephant camp via normal roads. After lunch you can feed the animals. Then follow a walk along the river and if the elephants feel like bathing, you can watch. Then a short drive in a jeep for rafting. The "boat masters" make a tremendous show of it and make a drama of every whirl in the water. The duration of the trip depends on the water level and the resulting current, but is definitely great fun. After a short trip in the jeep you can dry yourself in the elephant camp, then unfortunately the return journey by tuk tuk takes place and a great day ends much too early. A big thank you to the two main managers of the club who made a big contribution to the success of the day with their warm and very funny manner.
Superb experience and wonderful guide. The tuk-tuk ride went very well and the rafting was great. Great day, Kate. Experience not to be missed!
