The activity was very fun and exciting, and the staffs were very patient in teaching us. I participated in the 8km race this time, and I definitely want to do 10km again next time.

They offer professional and safe rafting services, and the captains are very friendly. After rafting, towels and shower facilities with hot water are available on-site. The round-trip shuttle bus between Chiang Mai accommodations and the rafting location is also very convenient.

We had great fun with a family of 4, including an 11 and 7 year old. Everything was organized very well, staff were very friendly and food was great. However, the best part was the rafting itself. It was short but loads of fun!

We had so much fun rafting with 8adventure today. The guide was experienced and good fun. And the hot shower and lunch afterward were the best after a hot day on the river. Thank you so much!

It’s a great trip, my boys enjoyed it very much. An air conditioned van picked us up from the hotel then it took around 55mins to go to the base. After the safety demonstration, lets the fun begin. We joined the 8km route and still it was really fun. Nice scenery with few exciting drops! Special thanks to O and thai who took care of us during the whole trip. I would recommend this trip to everyone.

Travelling with our two kids age 12 and 13 this was the perfect day out! Highly recommend this very professional company. We were collected promptly and received an excellent safety briefing both on arrival via video and in person before getting in the boat. Our raft pilot Dio was excellent and there was a good mix of enjoying the scenery and oaring … the rapids were very doable and just the right amount of excitement … we had a bit of a swim part way down the river and returned to a delicious lunch (the soup was amazing!!!) before being dropped back at our hotel. The photo pack was worth the extra purchase with a photographer in a few spots along the way catching the enjoyment of all. There were lockers to keep our bags and gear while on the river, hot showers after if you wished, and the gear was in great condition. There were extra guides in seperate kayaks to assist if any trouble was encountered … none was :) I understand that kids under 15 cannot do the full 10km as there are some bigger rapids so this 8km was just right … we saw the photos of those that went the full 10km on the big screen after while eating lunch and it looked awesome too! It was an amazing experience. The trainers were professional and nice. The entire process was a fun and exciting one. Would recommend others to try as well!!

The experience was great. We took the 10km ride. A good balance between thrills and chill moments along the river. Also a good way to discover the beautiful and luxurious forest. The teams are very professional and very nice. Highly recommended.

I went with my daughter who is 8 and my parents who are around 70. The 8Adventures is really reliable and helpful. The 8Adventures did ensure the safety of us and my daughter had great fun with the guide Nakida(not sure about the spelling), and I could see the master and the guides were experienced, and we felt safe during the rafting trip. It was so much fun in the river. Lucky that I could add the extra 2km during the trip and made it to 10. The 2 km was with great fun and excitement. And thanks to all the guides and master that I had a safe and happy adventure in the river. I really recommend the 8Adventures, as they really ensure your safety and the guides are considerate and experienced.

It was fantastic. Khun Deer is so much fun to do water rafting. A perfect tour guide for a crazy and adventurous couple as ourselves. Their chicken chop with rice is also delicious. Place to shower is clean. Overall 100/10

A fun 2 hour 10 km route and a very high level of safety! On the way you see elephants and amazing landscapes! not scary at all, we fell for a good day and a great person who accompanied us. highly recommend!

There was 4 of us (children 11 & 13) and we all liked it a lot, amazing experience, it was the shorter route (8 km) as the kids are below 15 nevertheless all of us enjoyed the tour. The staff is very nice and open to discuss and share about Thailand and nature. Lunch was also very tasty. Highly recommend 8Adventures.

Our Family of 6 went on 8adventures 8km white water rafting and we had a blast!! All 4 kids (ages 8 up to 14) said it's been their favorite part of vacation. The 8adventures staff were very organized, friendly and great at communicating before our adventure. Their guides were wonderful. We felt very safe and they had us laughing alot. They also taught the kids how to make some simple toys out of leaves and bamboo. Our lunch afterward was delicious, and their base camp was clean and had wonderful hot showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and towels for cleaning up after our adventure. We highly recommend 8adventures.

The tour was amazing. Great team building experience. Safety is on the priority list and the guides create a happy and fun atmosphere, where jokes are always welcome. The view is stunning especially when the sunset starts to begin.

Exciting time for my family, so enjoyable, my family have lots of fun there, the coach take well care of the participants, they were well trained and care, recommended for all who want adventure with safety concerns 😉

We were hoping for a more active experience. Because of the rain the river was floated and in a part we had to leave it to continue latter. In general the guides were really fun.

I have 2 kids rafting with, the coach and support staff are nice, made both of my kids relax and being happy during the journey, the lunch is yummy also.

We are having great fun doing rafting. Staff are super friendly and we will definitely try 10km next time.

Fun rafting trip appropriate for kids (8 and 12yo) - just enough thrill, but not too scary. Our guide was fabulous. We had time to jump out and swim, and to make bamboo whistles. The trip was definitely a highlight of our holiday!

Amazing experience. The day started with our friendly driver collecting us from our hotel in Chiang Mai old town and driving us for about 90mins to 8Adventures camp. When we arrived we watched the safety video and got changed before heading up the river to start rafting. The guides were super helpful and friendly and steered us down an amazing river with beautiful scenery and varying degrees of rapids. None our our family had ever rafted before but with the simple instructions everything was fine. It was definitely one of the best family activities we’ve done in recent years. The lunch provided after the rafting was fantastic and then it was time to head back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

One of the coolest experiences ever! I went rafting with my wife and 7 year old son. The rapids were fun and exciting but not dangerous. We skipped the middle portion that was a little more intense. So much fun and the staff was AMAZING!!

I have the good fortune to live in Chiang Mai and as such, know all the tour operators. 8 Adventures has no equal in Chiang Mai. The starting point for hiking, kayaking and quad bike driving is SAFETY. The second is the experience itself. 8 Adventures focuses so much on safety and mitigate risk wherever there is one. Quite remarkable standards unlike many of the others that I have used. Then the experience itself is tremendous and you need experienced guides to have a great experience. I have been with Khun Moss (ask for him as he cannot stop smiling!) on two occasions and he goes beyond the call of duty. Indeed, you could not ask for more. For safety and great memories, I always choose 8 adventures.

We went rafting in the north of Chiang Mai. It was the tour with grade II to III rapids. Our 4-year-old was also allowed to participate. Everything was well organized; there was even shampoo and shower gel in the showers, towels were provided, and we had a funny, motivated guide in our boat. Of course, the actual time on the water is quite short, but that is often the case with rafting.

Very good organization from A to Z. First time rafting with children aged 8 and 11 so you don't know what that will give. Very clear instructions, safety is guaranteed in several ways. We had a really good time. Was just a shame it was done! Could be a bit more active for us, a bit more paddling or an exercise on a calmer part. It was really cool. Also the food was very tasty!

It had rained a lot so there was a lot of water in the river. The guides adjusted the route so that the trip could continue in a safe manner. Extremely professional and safety first. Top equipment, friendly helpful people.

Everything was perfectly arranged and nice guides during the rafting. Excellent care with food and drinks, fun day out.
