What a great day! Very memorable! Limmey our driver was wonderful and also acted as guide for portions. Sticky Falls was refreshing and fun, Wat Bat Den gorgeous and inspiring. Hanging out with elephants. Fun. So nice to connect to them especially the 6 month old they had Loved it all and a real must for anyone visiting Chiang Mai

Had an amazing time with Limmy Private Tour, we had 3 days in Chiang Mai and did not wish to do a big bus tour, i talked directly with the owner of the company and he created a custom plan for us for each day, visiting the national park, going sightseeing at hot springs etc… Cheaper than a big tour for a group of 4. We did not think we would have a guided tour but would highly recommend asking for Pai, he has a bachelor in tourism and explained everything to us at each attraction on top of being extremely nice ! Total price was 2k baht for each day and 3 on the last it depends on the duration of the tour, with a custom plan way better than expected

We were looking for a small-group tour of the attractions outside Chiang Mai. This tour checked all the boxes and more for a great value. We had the entire car to ourselves (being the only ones booked that day), and our guide/driver Limmy made the long drive times pleasant, conversing in fluent English about points of interest that we passed and Thai culture in general. Our favorite stop was visiting the elephant sanctuary. It was an amazing experience being right next to the huge creatures. Limmy made plenty of opportunities for us to meet and feed different elephants and shared fascinating tidbits and insights from his extensive knowledge of them. The stop at the temple was a beautiful, quiet respite before the next adventure at the sticky falls. We had so much fun climbing up -- four levels of waterfall meant the fun kept on going! Limmy was considerate and personable throughout the entire tour and we enjoyed each stop at our own pace. Very highly recommend Limmy for an unforgettable tour!

We had such a special day and would thoroughly recommend booking an excursion with Limmy. He picked us up and arranged our day so that we could go up the Sticky Waterfalls whilst it was nice and quiet. Then we headed to Wat Ban Den temple which was breathtaking and absolutely stunning. After the temple we headed to the elephant sanctuary where a delicious lunch was provided which we ate whilst watching the elephants. After lunch we changed clothes and headed up the hill to feed bananas to one of them. Then we met and fed the sanctuary’s other elephants which was just magical. We also met their new addition - a 9 week old baby elephant who was just a joy to watch. Overall a fantastic day out with Limmy and we’re so happy we booked our tour with him.

Our guide Limmy was very knowledgeable and accommodating! He is so nice and personable. We felt comfortable and looked after since my friend and I are not used to large animals and elephants were a bit out of our comfort zone. The temple was beautiful and the sticky waterfall was a fun experience! it was amazing!

We are a young couple travelling in Thailand, during our stay in Chaing Mai we booked a couple of activities with Limmy who end up being our tour guide for the day and who accompanied us to the zipline and elephant sanctuary on the surroundings of the city. We had an amazing experience, where we learnt a lot about the elephants and their way of living, Limmy transmited us his passion and knowledge about these animals that made us understand more about their history and environment. Finding Limmy had made our stay even more special, thank you, you rock it ! :)

This excursion was our favourite of all our experiences in Thailand! Whilst the visit to the temple was worthwhile and we enjoyed the experience of walking up the waterfall, visiting the elephant sanctuary was definitely the star of the show! It was a fantastic experience and privilege to feed and pet these huge, powerful but gentle animals in their natural habitat, completely free to roam around at will. I would definitely recommend this excursion, especially if you are an animal lover!

my friend and I had the best day ever on the tour today with limmy! we got lucky with a quiet day so it was just the three of us and limmy coordinated and planned everything perfectly. the temple and sticky waterfall were both amazing, and of course, the elephants were the best part. my friend and I were both so happy to see that the sanctuary was very ethical and that the elephants were free to roam as they liked. the sanctuary was so quiet when we arrived and we had so much one on one time with the elephants which was incredible. you can tell they are very happy and well looked after, and limmy is also incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about them so was such an amazing guide. lunch was also provided and was delicious. the whole experience was so amazing and as two female solo travellers we felt so safe and enjoyed every minute of the day. cannot recommend this tour enough, and the price is great for the experience. thank you limmy!

Lemmie took is to an amazing temoke to start the trip...not one people usually get to travel to...words cannot explain...stunning!!! Sticky waterfalls, amazing, good fun apart from having to wait for people to take pictures all the way up! Lovely lunch at the sanctuary...elephants were gorgeous and well looked after...loved it all. Lemmie was a great rour guide...would highly reccommend

We had the most amazing day with Limmy. We started at the temple before anyone else was there which was so peaceful and great opportunity for photos. Then we went to sticky waterfalls where we had as much time as we wanted to explore. Last we spent a few hours at the elephant sanctuary which was truly amazing. Limmy was so knowledgeable with every stop and in between. His love for the elephants really showed and we learned so much from him!

Our guide was very friendly and had great information! We had a fantastic time, felt very safe and well taken care of. We never felt rushed. Absolutely would recommend!

Favourite trip in Thailand. Mr Lemie was a knowledgable and attentive guide. Our tour only had 4 in the mini bus and we had sufficient time at the wat, sticky waterfall and elephants. We did the wat first and upon arriving were the only group there a rare treat , the waterfall was fun and the interactions with the elephants magical. It is clear the elephants have a connection with mr Lemie and we loved the fact it was a local sanctuary with only 13 elephants and few other tourists there, the elephants seemed very well cared for and were allowed to do as they pleased they were not encouraged/ forced to do anything they didn’t want to. Would highly recommend this thoroughly enjoyable trip.

We had the Best experience with Limmy. We went on a tour where we visit temple Wat Ban Den. It was realy beautiful Temple, peacefull, no crouds and Limmys informations about the Temple made it even more beautiful. Next stop were Sticky waterfall, which was also great experience. My son was exited. The highlite of the Tour was visiting sancturay and rescue elephante center- Rentong elephant sanctuary - spending time with elephante in their environment was something so beautiful and peacefull that made us so happy. And our children Love it. Limmy gave us a lot of informations about elephants. He is full of knowledge and Love to elephante. You can see he really enjoy time spent with elephante. What a fantastic day with Limmy. We have done 4 tours in and around Chiang Mai, and this was the best. For us the elephant experience part of this tour was amazing. Limmy new the best time to visit the elephant park and has a real passion and bond with them. This tour was spectacular. Limmy, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and very accommodating. Each part of the tour was well planned, and Limmy made sure we were at each location at the prime time. The elephant portion of the tour was most impressive. Limmy has worked with this Elephant Sanctuary for a number of years and he even knows the elephants personally it was an amazing day and I couldn’t ask for anything better.

Limmy was a great guide! Professional and knowledgeable, took time to explain historical facts at temples as well as allowing us time to wander independently. Limmy came to life at the elephant sanctuary, his passion and connection to the animals was obvious. He really cares for them. We were in a guided group of 5 people which made the visit to the elephant sanctuary even more special.

This was an amazing and unforgettable day. Our guide and driver Limmy exceeded our expectations. We visited the temple first which had barely any other tourists. The sticky waterfall was fun and different. Finally, the elephants sanctuary was amazing and again, we were the only group with the elephants. It was nice to see that these elephants are under good care. Limmy was very knowledgeable and shared stories all day with our small group. We can't recommend this tour enough!

What an amazing day. Our tour guide Limmy looked after us like royalty from the moment he collected us from our hotel. He has great knowledge of the area and his English was excellent. Our highlight was the amazing time spent with elephants who Limmy knew so well. Our experience was so fabulous we booked a tour with Pai, Limmy’s son for the following day.

My friends and I had such an amazing time on this excursion! Limmy was a great driver and an even better tour guide! Limmy was very friendly and knowledgeable. He bought us everywhere at great times to avoid crowds and was patient with us when we were a bit scared of the elephants. He was recommended to us by my brother who had already been on a tour with him and I would recommend him to everyone! Comfy car, air con, offered us water. We had a laugh with Limmy and he gave us lots of local knowledge as well, where to eat and where to go. The temple and elephant sanctuary were amazing and the sanctuary was clearly ethical, something Limmy strongly believes in.

It’s been more than amazing! Limmy really knows how to lead the way throughout the day. We went in the temple first and we were there basically alone, before all the other people. Then sticky waterfalls and last the elephant sanctuary. We were also almost alone with elephants and it was just the best experience, hard to describe with words. The timing was perfect for everything! 11/10 would recommend!

STOP! Look no further. I seldom leave a review but we had such a great tour with our private driver/tour guide, Limmy. He was so welcoming and spoke great English. Gave us a lot of information and interesting tidbits and fun facts throughout the day. He explained Thai culture, history and shared his knowledge on Buddhism. Really enjoyed the extra time to explore on our own at the beautiful and expansive Wat Ban Den. Had a really fun time climbing up the Sticky Waterfall. Recommend wear shorts or bring a change of clothes. Lunch was simple and filling at the elephant sanctuary. Got several opportunities to feed the elephants and be up close for pictures. Such a great experience! We learned so much about the elephants and their stories from Limmy. Definitely recommend Limmy Private Tour. Just book it! This tour was exactly what I was looking for! Both our tour guide, Pai, and our driver/guide, Limmy, were great. They were very caring and just nice human beings. They drove us to the temple first, then the waterfall and finally to the elephant sanctuary, which worked out beautifully as we missed the crowds and it was like a private tour for the 6 people who joined. Pai is very knowledgeable and provided good information at the temple. Limmy explained about elephants and the sanctuary, and did a great job as well. The waterfall was certainly an experience, and I didn't go all the way down to climb the waterfall completely, but just did one segment which was enough for me. It was fun and I would recommend it. As to the elephant sanctuary I would recommend you bring socks because they give you rubber boots and that's the only thing I didn't like, because it was hot and I wasn't wearing socks. However, I was grateful for the boots as the area is very muddy. Both Pai and Limmy took good care of us at the sanctuary and made sure we enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend this full-day tour. Definitely worth it.

Fantastically organised and flexible to how busy each site is so you get the best experience from each. Limmy has plenty of knowledge to share but also leaves you to enjoy the scenery if you prefer. We did a full-day tour and it was an absolutely incredible experience. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and we even learned new things along the way. Our guide was extremely friendly and provided a lot of interesting explanations throughout the entire day. At each activity we received a bottle of water, which was really thoughtful. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch with the elephants, which made the experience even more special. The schedule was well planned, we never felt rushed, and we truly enjoyed every minute. We had a very enjoyable day with Limmy as our tour guide. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, everything was well-organized and timed in a way that allowed us to avoid crowds and make the most of our visits to the temple, waterfall, and elephant sanctuary. We had a truly magical day! Limmy took us to see a magnificent temple perched high above the city. His explanations were very clear and interesting. We then continued the day at the famous Sticky Waterfalls: a fantastic and original activity, we loved the experience. The afternoon was the highlight of the show: a special encounter with elephants. The sanctuary is very ethical, the elephants are free and well cared for. You can see that Limmy knows them and makes sure they feel comfortable. We were able to feed and pet them. Our tour guide Pie was awesome! Very patience and knowledgeable. Keep in mind this is a private tour, in a private car can fit up to 4 guests. The ride there and back was fast compared to shuttle bus and vans; usually too many stops making it unbearable. I Highly recommend him to anyone who is visiting Chiang mai. Well spent tour.

Amazing day out. Our tour guide Limmy was lovely and gave lots of interesting facts about the elephants, temple and overall parts of Thailand. We got to feed the elephants and learn about them. It was very ethical and elephants were free to roam around the park. The sticky waterfalls were fun and the temple was beautiful. Limmy also got us some fruit to try and stopped to show us rice fields. He also drove back an extra half an hour as my friend left her bag in his van which was good of him.

Limmy and Pai were amazing guides. We were in a small group of 4 people so we could spend as long as we wanted in each area of the tour. Limmy has so much knowledge about each elephant in the sanctuary, they make sure that you are in great hands and very safe throughout. When at Wat Ban Den and the sticky waterfall Pai made sure to explain everything and tell lots of interesting facts and stories about each place. The price is also very good as you get lunch included as well.

The elephant sanctuary was such a magical place — peaceful, beautiful, and full of love. Limmy has been visiting the sanctuary for years, and you can tell the elephants recognize and trust him. It made the experience even more meaningful. Lunch was delicious — we were served a full plate of fresh fruit and flavorful Pad Thai. The temples were absolutely stunning, and we were fascinated by Pai’s knowledge and storytelling as our guide. Bua Thong Waterfalls was also a highlight — absolutely stunning and so much fun to climb! Just a heads-up: we recommend wearing grippy shoes and a bikini with some clothes on top, since you’ll definitely get wet. If we had more time in Chiang Mai, we would 100% do another tour with them. We highly recommend Limmy and Pai, and we’ll definitely book with them again when we return!

Perfect day in Chiang Mai. We swapped the temple visit for an ATV ride and it was great. The elephant sanctuary is beautiful and all the staff were super nice. Shout out to Limmy and Pai, really awesome guys

Fantastic day, will never forget. Small tour -8 of us, tour guides amazing A must do. Lovely ethical elephant sanctuary, all done at elephants will. No chains and no rides, as it should be. Guide had great knowledge about all the elephants there.

Pai was a great guide. Gives a lot of history and context to everything you do. Very kind and flexible. The whole day is well paced and had something for everyone. Elephant sanctuary was a lot of fun, not crowded at all. Got to pend lots of time feeding and being with elephants. Temple is beautiful and not crowded. Really get to enjoy tranquility Sticky waterfalls was a blast. Did it twice!

Really great experience if you're staying in Chiang Mai! Both tour guides were very knowledgeable and spoke great English. Elephant sanctuary seemed really well run and ethical; you get to get right up close to them! Lunch was delicious pad thai and mango sticky rice which we had at the sanctuary also. Temple was beautiful and not crowded when we went. You get time to roam free at the sticky waterfall which was a great way to cool off and end the day. Our group was small (just 4 of us) which was great also.

What an amazing day! Limmy picked us up from the train station after a long sleeper train from Bangkok. Him and pai were absolutely amazing! A fantastic tour including 3 pit stops completely worth the money. Their knowledge of the area and love for the elephants really stood out to me. Would totally recommend.
