We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Doi Inthanon with Mint! He was an outstanding guide, sharing so much interesting and useful information about Thai culture, local life, nature and the places we visited. He paid attention to every little detail and made sure everything was perfectly organised and that we had the best possible experience. The tour was truly worth every penny, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommended! Thank you, Mint, for such a fantastic and memorable experience!
This place is a must do, especially the 2 hour track. It is worth every step
It was beautiful scenery of national park. The tour arrangements was just perfect, no rush but covered most of everything. Tour guide was excellent, friendly group
Galaya was absolutely amazing. The most fun tour guide we’ve had so far. She made sure that we were all having a good time while deepening our knowledge of the northern Thai countryside. Super energetic and enthusiastic!
Just not that interesting. The waterfalls were pretty, the old village, maybe, the best part of the tour. The rest was ho hum. Was hoping it would be good considering the time it all took. Tour guide said little but was friendly, all was organized well. Van wasn’t the most comfortable.
Had an amazing experience visiting Doi Inthanon today! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the whole trip was really well organized. Huge shoutout to our tour guide, Goy, who was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Chiang Mai. Highly recommend!
Matthieu and Chumi are an outstanding guide-driver team who made this multi-activity journey informative, fun, engaging, and most memorable!☺️ The splendor of Doi Indothan National Park was elevated by the tours to the waterfall, royal pagodas, and hiking 4 miles through the jungle to arrive at a gorgeous village inhabited by the Karen Hills community who displayed their talents for weaving and coffee harvesting/blending. Thank you, Matthieu and Chumi, for your generous spirit, care, kind hospitality! I hope to see you for another outstanding experience when I return to Thailand 🇹🇭 🙏🏻
Every thing was great except the transportation needs to be improved, the van was small , although the staff specially the guides including local guide who joined during the hikes were really great and helpful
A must do tour in Chiang Mai especially on a Sunny day! Great scenery, local markets are Wonderful! Make sure to bring rainjacket, hats & small denomination for treats of local drinks & fruits. Also, comfortable runners for climbing the steps on the King & Queen Pagoda's! The tour guide "Billy" was informative 👌
The guide was very knowledgeable on everywhere we went for the tour (shoutout to Jackie). My friend and I booked this trip but we ended up on different tour buses. They accommodated us and put us in the same tour bus at a drop off point before the tour began. This group is awesome!
Just a day trip to be, guide was cool, clean pick up from hotel, all facilities you need
Thanks to lovely guide K.Mint and the driver K.Ice.They are active and lively. great arrangement and comfortable travelling one.
The waterfalls were beautiful and we really enjoyed the visit to the mountain village. It was nice to learn more about the rural life of the mountain people. Even the pouring thunderstorm we got caught in was a fun experience. They had ponchos for us to use, which was helpful. (Although I heard some of them were stinky)
The experience was good and the guide was really kind.
Amazing experience. Valuable for money. Great guide.
Our guide was so nice! And made it a fun experience as a group, we had a great time hiking and learning about the Thai culture.
Great day trip out to Doi Lathanon! Guide was fantastic, waterfalls, history lessons, temples in the hills and great views. Awesome day out.
While not as much hiking as I would like and it was very crowded at the summit, all in all a good day with a very good guide. Actual two guides as we have a local Lanna guide for part as well.
This was a really fun tour. Its a lot of driving but each srop provides ample time to get out and walk. The hike through the rainforest was especially enjoyable. Our guide was great and took really good care of us the whole day. I highly recommend this activity. You won't regret it.
The tour was well-planned and delivered, our guide Galaya was so positive, communicative and spoke English really well. We saw the beauties of the jungle forest, rice fields, local village and the Doi Ithanon pagodas themselves. A great way to escape the heat of the city and explore one of the Northern Thailand’s gems!
Too many shopping stops , for attractions stop only few minutes and I updated the pickup address but the operator did NOT NOTICE the driver, we waited half an hour and communicated a lot, the operator had suggested me to change the date, finally they send another car for us…
I booked my Doi Inthanon trip through TripAdvisor, and the overall experience was smooth and well-organized. The tour was enjoyable, and everything went as expected.
The places we visited were amazing.
Scenery was amazing, Tour guides informative and kind, fellow travelers were fun!
Overall, an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and informative. There was plenty of time to enjoy each location with zero stress.
The tour itself exceeded our expectations. Very beautiful and interesting. A total 5 stars! The communication about meeting places, etc and the vehicle were great. Unfortunately our tour guide Paula was sweet but she spoke such limited English that we received no information about what we were seeing. She actually texted photos of the sites as a way of sharing information. Thus, the low stars… I highly recommend the destination, but try a different tour group if you want any information about what you’re seeing.
We have seen all the sight-seeing places and are generally satisfied with this tour. At the top of Doi Inthanon, very foggy and windy - difficult to have a nice view on surroundings. Waterfalls are wonderful, the time stop was reasonable. The lunch provided by the tour guide was delicious. Not too much information about Thailand's history or culture itself from the guide, otherwise the cultural part is mostly visiting coffee/fruit shops and rice plantation.
Guide was very friendly and helpful. She advised me to buy a cheap raincoat before going to the highest peak in Thailand, and sure enough, it started raining hard. Tour was an interesting combination of short walks to waterfalls and monuments, to visits to local artisans and coffee growers to sample their wares. Lunch was in the middle of a rice field, which was cool. Would have enjoyed a little hike into the park.
It was a good experience overall. We visited all the places listed in the itinerary. The lunch was delicious, and the portions were generous. The only issue was with the driver. Sometimes, we couldn’t understand what he was saying, and we couldn’t hear him clearly. He gave instructions from inside the van, but the people sitting in the back couldn’t hear him.
Unfortunately the weather was really bad, but the tour guide did a very good job of taking care of everyone.
Our guide Nami was quite organized and informative. We got to spend the right amount of time at each site. It was nice that they gave us an option to skip the pagodas on a rainy foggy summit and get our money back on that portion. Everything worked well.
I had an excellent day with the lovely people I met and Billy the tour guide a true gentleman and very funny, lunch was exceptional, Billys knowledge was fantastic, I have remained friends with a couple of the other travellers I have met through whats app and plan on meeting up again for more trips through the same company, it was truthfully a beautiful day relaxed not rushed and enjoyable good humour and very respectful of Thai culture, history and Buddhism, The story of Doi Inthanon and the small temple is a beautiful story Pat from Australia Gday to all the people I spent the day with and Thank you for a great day
The trip was interesting however it was spoilt by the front seat of the van having very little leg room and we weren’t able to put our feet under a seat in front, as it was blocked off. Considering it was a long drive to and from the National Park, this should gave been taken into consideration, especially when the guide said that there had yo be three people. This did not allow for any leg or foot movement, and really distracted from the day.
A really good tour. Our tour guide was friendly well spoken and funny. Good value. Nice vehicle. Worth the money
I felt like the tour was all over the place, there were many stops like 8 but none seemed spectacular. The park was not what I expected. There was no suggestions about what to bring (umbrella, warm coat, tissue for all washrooms) and I felt unprepared. Not what I hoped for.
The trip was average in terms of the value for money, the transportation, the guide and the program. We unfortunately had really bad weather which of course can't be helped but I think the company could have adjusted the program so that we weren't all hanging around waiting for ages cold and wet. By the end of it we were all happy to skip the last part and just go back to Chiang Rai.
Our tour guide was great. Amazing National park, waterfalls and food. Seeing how the community work together to help each other. Thankyou for an unforgetable experience. Lush bushland and green folage. The mist and cooler temp was a nice change. We would highly reccomend this tour. Thankyou so much. Kylie and Dan, Australia.
It was an excellent all day tour. The waterfalls were amazing. Visiting the Royal Project to taste the coffee and tea, visiting the rice fields and having lunch were good. Unfortunately, it was so foggy and drizzling that we could not see the pagodas. Our tour guide, Apple, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
The drive was worth the view and the photos we gkt to take. 5/5
Our guide Andy was amazing. He was informative, friendly and most importantly an amazing photographer. To thoroughly enjoy this fantastic experience travel with a raincoat or umbrella and sweater. The temperature is significantly different from the city's.
Really enjoyed the tour. Cho was an excellent guide and the driver very safe. Unfortunately didn’t see the view from the top of the mountain due to weather but enjoyed everything all the same
We enjoyed, Mendy our guide was really nice lady.
We joined a Wendy Tours group of 12, with tour guide Nami. She was really knowledgeable about the places we visited and clearly a veteran guide - she knew all the other guides, and the locals in the Karen tribe village, really well - including the pet pigs and chickens! The tribe village was actually a highlight, with tourist visits being handled respectfully of the villagers, and of course the water falls were beautiful. Sadly we couldn't see much of the Pagoda due to the fog but still worth a detour, don't forget to bring some a little bit warm as it does get cold ish up there( 10 15C)
Mint, the guide for our group was really nice. All in time, Mint I would say again is the greatest tour guide I’ve ever had.
Great to visit the highest point in Thailand. Activities in the hill tribe village were very interesting. Lots of rice, fruit and vegetables being grown in the mountains. Unfortunately, wet, cold and windy on the day we visited with low visibility but that can’t be helped.
Top notch tour covering lots of different sites, including waterfalls, local village, rainforest, and monuments. Simple but delicious lunch with generous portions. Tour guide was warm and informative. Max 12 people per group was a nice size.
Great experience! I recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about northern Thai culture and enjoy getting out in nature for a day. Shoutout to Smile! She was very friendly and funny.
The tour is beautiful, our guide is wonderful and knowledgeable
It was a great experience but I wish I bought a jumper because it is only 13 degrees at the top of the mountain, otherwise it is still hot and humiod everywhere else. Th tour guide named 'Choo' was excellent, he was so informative and also funny. He took us to many places and explained everything and also other things about Thailand which was interesting. Highly recommend it.
