We saw a lot in a single, very long day. Got picked up in Chiang Mai at 7 am, drove to see hot springs, long neck tribe, white temple (which was simply incredible), had a very authentic local lunch, then drove through Chiang Rai to the golden triangle and got a boat ride on the Mekong River to see Myanmar (Burma) and Laos shorelines. Could not step foot onto the shores as we did not have our passports. Visited opium museum and had a nice local dinner. Then drove 4 hours back to Chiang Mai, arriving at our hotel after midnight. Our driver/tour guide Nop was terrific! Lots of driving, but definitely recommend!
Nop was amazing! He customized our itinerary and took such good care of us. Cracking jokes and explaining stories and history in such an entertaining way, my kids fell in love with him. Very comfortable van and he brought us pumpkin treats that his wife made for us. We packed a lot into our tour but we never felt rushed. And the rustic local restaurants he brought us to had the best food! Oh, and the blue ice cream at the Blue Temple? Delicious! We will definitely hire Nop (pronounced Nope) directly for any/all tours when we come back to Thailand!

This trip was so great. Our driver, Peter, was so kind. He explained the temples, knew the best place to stand for photos and was always willing to take our picture. We did the Karon village, hot springs, White Temple, Blue Temple, Golden Triangle and took a boat to Laos, very long day but Peter made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see. He even knew the best spot for coconut ice cream!
Peter, our guide and driver was very knowledgeable regarding everything Thai! Was very interested to learn about religion, government, flora and fauna! Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our one day tour of Chiang Rai. We definitely could have done something cheaper, but this was worth the splurge. Our guide, Nop, was so kind and an amazing photographer. We were able to customize what we wanted to see which made for a well rounded day . Highly recommend. I would suggest ensuring you have enough Baht for lunch, boat, and souvenirs

Mr. Nop was a wonderful guide. We visited the White Temple, the Blue Temple, Golden Triangle, and took a boat ride to Laos, where we tried some specialty liquor and did some shopping. We enjoyed all that Nop taught us and showed us. Highly recommended.
This was a wonderful tour and our tour guide Nop was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable about all the sights we visited, he took some great photos of us, he served as a negotiator for anything we were interested in and he is a very fun person. We talked almost the entire trip. I’m vegetarian and he took us to a wonderful restaurant that served vegetarian food. I really enjoyed the restaurant they grew all their own food onsite and they let us walk around their garden. You can’t go wrong with this tour.

An excellent full day out from Chiang Mai, our driver and tour guide, Mr Sumrit, was fabulous. The car was very comfortable and we were very well looked after by our guide- giving us snacks and treats during the day, and taking lots of photos of us on the trip. We were collected from our hotel at 7.20am and returned at 8pm, so it’s a full day out. We chose the White Temple, Blue Temple, Golden Triangle, House of Opium museum and the Mekong River trip. All worthy of a visit…. The white temple is beautiful! Golden triangle. House of opium and Mekong River all link together in Thai history. Recommended trip!
Unbelievable experience private tour is the way to go. Be ready it’s ~13-14 hours there is so much to see, having a private tour was comfortable, intimate, our driver was professional, fun, and a great photographer! Incredibly grateful he drove us to and from safely - transportation was comfy and clean great to relax in after a super long day and long drive back to our hostel. 10/10 experience we highly recommend.
A brilliant day with Nop. We visited the white and blue temple, the big Buddha, the waterfall cafe and hotspots and Singha park - all in one day! Nop was knowledgable, friendly and great fun. Would recommend as a great immersion into Chiang Mai!

Our driver came in an immaculately clean SUV, and helped and guided us superbly. He answered all our questions and taught us a bit of the history and culture of the countries and places we visited. There were plenty of breaks of bathrooms and he even helped guiding my wife’s wheelchair through the white temple. She had sprained her hip and needed to sit often so this was essential to us. He even bought us some real coconut ice cream to try! The White temple had a wheelchair we could borrow. Most of the other areas we visited, blue temple, tea plantation, Lolita cafe were easily accessible. The boat ride on the Golden triangle was not wheelchair accessible but my wife could walk with a cane to the boat. The temples were quite impressive and even though we were in high season, it wasn’t crazy crowded. In most of the temple complex, you can walk around wearing whatever, just going inside the main building you had to take off shoes, and have shoulders and knees covered. All in all, this was a highlight of our time in North Thailand and although it went from 7am to 10pm it was definitely worthwhile and enjoyable. BTW keep some 5 THB coins for the bathroom at Blue temple and bring tissue pack for bathroom.
I would have given this tour more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend our guide, Mr. Nop, who is really friendly and very knowledgeable about all the places. We traveled with a 3 year old kid, and they sent a car with a child seat. You cannot go wrong with this tour and with Mr. Nop! They also customized the tour according to our interests. Thank you for this unforgettable experience.

Chris was such an amazing driver and guide. He spent his entire day with us and was extremely helpful in helping us plan the day out based on how busy the sites were. He was patient as we asked to pack as much as possible into one day. We really appreciated his thoughtfulness and willingness to take group photos of us along our journey - he took photography classes so every photo was beautiful! On a small side note - do not expect to go to Laos during this tour. We read the description as a boat ride into Laos and possible passport stamp but actually it is an informational river tour departing and returning to Thailand’s port.

Great day for touring! We explored the most iconic temples, enjoyed authentic mountain tea at a serene hilltop tea plantation, then headed to the Golden Triangle which include a scenic long-tailed boat ride along the Mekong River. Leelee made the entire experience incredible with fascinating stories and plenty of time to wander and soak it all in. An experience we’d happily recommend to anyone.

The weather was sunny and Tono was a fantastic guide! He shared fascinating stories and captured stunning photos we’ll treasure forever. Our chosen itinerary was perfectly paced — relaxed, never rushed and fully flexible to our expectation. Vehicle was spacious and well maintained. Traveled to 3 beautiful temples, amazing views and Nop was a very informative tour driver. He supplied water and when it rained at the Golden Triangle he had umbrellas for us. He even stopped beside the road to take a picture of some water buffalo.

The tour was excellent , we were picked up from the hotel on time & the vehicle was very comfortable, the tour guide (Nopp) was extremely knowledgeable about all the locations we went to as well as knowledge of his country. He explained a lot of things about the temples as well as the religion & background beliefs. He got us through the entry gates quickly & guided us through each venue.The guide also asked us various times throughout the day if we required extra time at the locations or stops for shopping & toilet breaks We found this tour long , but the our thoughts were that for what we had done ,seen & experienced, it was totally worth it. If you’re going to see just one temple in Thailand this is the one. It was simply exquisite. Although the day was huge with long drives, we were well cared for and it was such a treat to the eyes.

This was a fabulous tour. We enjoyed visiting the hot springs, the Longneck Village and the amazing and intricate White Temple. Our lunch at the Lolitta cafe was delicious, but be warned - very big serves. The setting that this cafe is in is peaceful and picturesque. It was great seeing the beauty of the tea plantation and then going onto the Golden Trangle. Mr Nop was an excellent driver and tour guide. He was very friendly and went out of his way to give us information and tell us things about each place that we visited. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this to anyone considering it. Although it was a long day, as there was lots of driving involved, the car was air-conditioned and very comfortable. Thank you for a fabulous tour!

What an amazing day!! The ride to Chiang Rai is a bit long - but I slept really well in the comfort of our guides car. The day was 100% worth the ride time. Temples were beautiful and Nop shared some of the history and stories behind these beautiful stops. He also knew all the places to go in the attractions and the best spots for photos! Bring cash for entry fees and snacks.
What an amazing day. We had the chance to see all the sites of Chiang Rai. The car was very comfortable and clean and Nop was a fantastic tour guide and driver. It’s a great way to see the White Temple, blue temple and other things all in one day.
I knew this tour would be amazing before I event went. Nat's insightful advice helped me select which sights best met our interests. We were so excited to see the temples and they were even more stunning in person. The attention to detail and artistry is phenomenal. Our guide Mr. Nop was very knowledgeable about the history and culture. He surpassed our expectations creating special memories of our explorations. He even added a couple of extra sights since we had additional time. I was not sure what to expect with Lalitta cafe since it seemed like a tourist trap but I really enjoyed my Khao soi. This tour made it possible for us to comfortably explore this region and gave us the vacation we wanted.
We visited the Wat Saeng Kaeo Phothiyan temple, White and Blue temples, the Black House and the Golden Traingle on this private Tour. Chris our guide and Driver was excellent. It was a full day and a long drive from Chiang Mai but we enjoyed all the stops. Chris provided a lot of interesting info about all the places we visited, he offered to take photos of us ( he certainly is an expert photographer) and he drove us safely around and back to Chiang Mai. He made the day trip a great one!
This was a fantastic full day (12-13 hours) private tour- but the time went by well as we had a nice clean vehicle and a great tour guide/driver named Nop who was excellent. We did this tour from Chiang Mai with a timely pickup from our hotel. We had a restroom/at /7 eleven break at the hot springs stop but we did not waste time here. Our first stop was the long neck Karen village. Costs 300 Baht/person. Shopping stalls and some good photo ops with the owners of the stalls. I thought it was worth it. Next stop was the White Temple the hilight of the trip. Beautiful Temple- a must see. Also a Ganesha pavilion which was a pleasant surprise as we are Hindu. Loved both. Then onto the Golden Triangle where stopped for a nice lunch. Then did the longtail boat ride showing us the triangle- thailand , burma (myanmar) and laos. Interesting for the history of the area. We got off on laos side which i thought was a waste of time. When we got back we quickly stopped at The House of Opium which does not take long and I thought was very informative . Then we left the area and drove straight to The Blue Temple which is also a must see. Beautiful temple. And then back to our hotel. Great overall experience. Out guide also did our pictures and sent them to us which was a nice touch.

What a phenomenal trip! Mr. Nop, our guide, and his brother Sulapon, our driver, were outstanding!!! Nop designed the trip according to our desires. Very relaxed and not rushed from one site to the next. They provided a luxury SUV and water that was very comfortable. Our stops included the Karen village hill people, a rest at the hot spring, the White temple, the Chinese temple, the Blue temple and had a delicious, relaxing lunch at LaLita Cafe. We planned on going to the Great Triangle with a boat ride, but opted not due to an already fun-packed day, with fatigue setting in. On our return trip Nop treated us with a bonus temple excursion. Arrived back at our hotel safely and tired, but grateful! Thank you Mr Nop and Sulapon for an amazing experience!
