Amazing trip. Thanks Mr.BoBo and driver. Very helpful and informative. I have a good experience of the day trip, visiting local village, mountains and waterfalls.

You will be picked up from your place lobby between 8.00 and 8.30 am. (8.30-9.00 depending on your location). Drive approximately 1.5hr, you will get to the huge waterfall named Wachiritharn waterfall. Enjoy the breathtaking view and walk around here (a 70 meters high thunderous waterfall).
Have a short break enjoying this waterfall
At Ban Mae Klang Luang, a Karen hill-tribe village, witness their lifestyle, culture, and traditions. Observe the local women performing traditional clothing weaving. They also grow organic coffee and you will be able to sample and buy Chiangmai's best coffee.
These twin pagodas were built to honor the 60th birthday of the King and Queen in 1987 and 1992 respectively. One is called Naphamethinidon, meaning "by the strength of the land and air", and the other, Naphaphonphumisiri, meaning "being the strength of the air and the grace of the land". These mirrored buildings are pagodas that have been located at the highest altitude in Thailand. Here admire the huge structures and beauty of the flower garden.
Visit the Highest spot in Thailand and take a very easy-short nature trail walk enjoying the outstanding view, many kinds of birds, historical sightseeing.
You can try and buy some local fruits and treats.

Overall, excellent experience. Others should know that travel times about two hours each way. Our guide som was excellent. We could’ve used a bit more interactive experience at the village.
Good variety of activities. Not too difficult for walking and guide didn't rush us. Hood historical info given. Ban was comfortable and Karen village lunch was simple & delicious.
We had a great time! I feel like we saw so many more sites than we would have thought to if we were to just go alone. Great price for all the activities you get up to. And our tour guide Nami was great! Had so much information to share about the trip and treated everyone so nicely.
This was a terrific tour. The driver and guide were very nice. We visited the many sites for just enough time. The food and the coffee place were really good - much better than I anticipated. The park is beautiful as are the shrines. For a one-day trip we loved it
This was a fantastic experience. The weather held out too. All of the included activities were great, but for me, with a textiles background, I particularly enjoyed the Karen village. Here we saw a village woman weaving clothing. A single scarf takes 3 days to weave. We were able to buy textiles directly from the villagers.
Tour itself was good. Our group was 13 guys on 2 vans with 1 guide, so 2 vans moved and arrived at the same time. Moving front and back not to wait each other. Sometimes the 2nd car followed very closely (few times about 5M distance with more than 90Km speed). I think it was too risky situation. Safety is the priority.
The tour is amazing. So much to see .Highlights were the twin pagoda and the waterfalls.Guide New was amazing
The trip went ahead on time and the guide and driver were super friendly and helpful. The van was very comfortable and modern cool air con. The place itself Doi Inthanan was fantastic and everything went well. The food was lovely and the restaurant brought out more food as we were all super hungry. Overall the day was enjoyable
It was a nice, easy trip. Not much hiking, 10- 15 min at most. Our guide was good, explained things well, and took pictures for everyone if they wanted it. The lunch included was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed the veggies.
This tour is perfectly planned to avoid crowds. I loved the pagoda and waterfall stops in Doi Inthanon.
Our tour guide Aom was the best part of the trip! She was so fun and kind and informative. We really appreciate the care she took to make sure we had a great time. We had 10 people in our group with 7 kids so it was a lot of work for her! We loved all the stops and had plenty of time to experience them like we wanted. Our favorite spot was the walk through the forest at the highest point of Thailand. Absolutely stunning.
It was quite good, the tour guide gave us time to explore and explained the history behind each location. She also showed us some things that the other tour guides in the area skipped so that was very much appreciated.
What a fabulous experience which I and my family could easily repeat.Piano(yep) the tour guide made the day with her never ending jokes and permanent smile…with an infectious laugh. From beginning to end it was very well organised. The waterfall, bagodas, hillside village and local market were truly great experiences. If you are going to only do one tour in Chiang Mai do this one.My teenagers loved it….and so did my wife and I.
Joined this tour and had a wonderful day trip. Our driver Mr Odd (baby frog) drive carefully and we got to our destinations on time. Our guide Yoyo was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He provided a run down of history and to the things we were going to see and answered any questions we had. Lunch was delicious and plentiful, they kept the food coming and ever so ready to replenish the dishes. Although it was very foggy and drizzly and we didn’t see the tops of the twin pagodas, it was still an enjoyable day especially with a great guide and nice group of travellers. You will get wet from sprays at the Waterfall, so remember to bring a poncho. 100% recommend this tour.
Great trip. Well organised. Our guide Holly was so friendly and interactive. Would highly recommend. Highlight was the nature walk trail. So peaceful
Our guide, Horee, was fantastic - lots of fun, informative and patient. We didn’t f always feel safe with the driver, though.
The truth is that it was very well organised, the guide speaks english and you can understand her english and the trip is all that appears in the description. It worths the time
The twin pagodas and one of the two waterfalls were well worth a visit. The visit to the summit is a little underwhelming with only a 2 minute photostop at the summit marker and the cool temperature to mark that you’re at the highest point in Thailand. No views as such. Well organised, ran to time and cheerful enthusiastic guide.
The views were spectacular, Job the guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. It was a very long trip but well worth it.
Enjoyed diversity of day: Waterfalls , rain forest, coffee sampling /farm, Pagodas,, Hmong market. Also positive was the pacing and time in each. Good lunch, too.
Indicated 12 people max in tour, but we had 22. They combined two vans for 1 tour. Tour guide kept changing vans Hard to hear your guide when sitting in back of van. He spoke broken English so trying to translate and hear was difficult. Too soft spoken Not a great guide. Basically just told where we were and when to be back. No additional info was given on history of the area Was disappointed when we got to the highest point. Guide basically walked us around a trail with no opportunity to take in what we were looking at. Didn't allow us to stop and take a picture with the famous sign that said "highest point". The stop at Ban Mae Klang Luang was a joke. No watching and culture. It was a quick stop to eat then move on to a sales stop to buy coffee. No watching people in their environment. Got back to hotel around 7-7:30, not the 5 or 6 like advertised which messed up our evening plans.
This was such an awesome excursion. The whole day was absolutely fantastic. Our guide Nitneem was very knowledgeable and sweet. Her English was quite good. The scenery was breathtaking. I really enjoyed seeing the gorgeous waterfalls and vegetation. The walks were fairly easy and the van was quite comfortable. We had a group of 5 plus our guide and driver. It was very nice to have such a small group so we could get to know each other a little bit as we drove and discovered the culture of Northern Thailand. We were with a man from South Korea and a couple from Oman. My husband and I are American, and our guide and driver were Thai, but so it was a great mix of people. We stopped at two waterfalls, a local tribe’s village, a coffee shop, a restaurant (where the food was absolutely delicious!!), the Twin Pagodas on the tops of the mountains, and a small roadside Hmong market. I really loved the King and Queen’s pagodas. I enjoyed seeing the incredible paintings and statuary. It was also quite enlightening to read the stories of Buddha. I actually wish we had had more time at this particular stop. I loved looking across the mountainous landscape, especially with the misty clouds hanging over everything. It didn’t look real. I would highly recommend this exact tour to anyone who wants to see this beautiful National Park in while driving in comfort.
The tour was very well coordinated and the park was beautiful. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Without knowing much about the park, it felt that we saw everything we should have seen that day. There were two surprises that were not in the itinerary, a coffee and tea tasting and a visit to a small market. Both were wonderful additions. I would recommend this tour!
Highly recommend this trip, was a good speed, great sites and enough walking to feel good. Our guide Faan was fab.
Fantastic experience for the whole family. Our guide and driver where lovely. Would recommend this trip.
Average tourist trap sights. Tour description says maximum 12 people and they certainly crammed 12 people into a mini bus. Long drives with not much to really see. Waterfalls were nice but nothing spectacular. Mountain village - there were loads of buses and tourists. Being one of what get like hundreds of other such buses was a disappointment. Our guide was fine, very pleasant and approachable, although their job seemed to be more was more about directing toilet breaks. Go if you want to see countryside and have limited time to do so, as we did,
Doi Inthanon is definitely worth a trip out to see if you’re staying in Chiang Mai! It’s a beautiful site that you’ll get to explore on your own and walk around at your own pace once arriving. The other stops at the waterfalls were also really cool to see the nature outside the city. The village visit was interesting to hear about the work they do and sample some coffee they grow as well as tea.
Lovely, friendly staff. Great tour of some beautiful sights with a good amount of time to explore alone.
Waterfalls were good but spent too much time travelling Might be better with more time spent at less sites
Q was such a lovely person. He showed us all the tourist points as per itinerary very informative and knowledgeable of the history of the region. Lunch was very nice and drive to and from was very safe and pleasant. Hotel pick up at 8am and return around 5pm. Day well spent. Inclusions Lunch - vegetarian food is available Air-conditioned vehicle Bottled water Admission fees Licensed English speaking guide Travel accident Insurance Entry/ Admission - Phra Maha Dhatu Naphamethinidon and Naphaphonphumisiri Pagoda Entry/ Admission - Doi Inthanon I highly recommend this tour and the tour guide Q!!
Our tour guide was so lovely and informative. My favourite part was walking around the twin pagodas and flower garden, both located on the highest mountain in Thailand (gorgeous!!). Lovely that we could all have lunch together (included on the trip). Would do again if I could ☺️
after an initial S.A F.U on picking us up at The Gate( We were not aware of the use of Whatsapp) and The Driver was not holding a sign) I phoned The Chicago office abs got the phone number of our driver and sorted it out. Kenny our driver was professional, courteous, and informative. a very nice experience on our tour of The waterfalls, village and stunning Pagodas. I was very cramped and uncomfortable setting in the very back, but, when I asked to set up front with Kenny, all was well. thank you for a wonderful tour!
The tour was really good, you first go to the waterfall, then head to the village and then later to another waterfall where you have lunch. Lunch was far too early, at 11 am. It needs to be much later. The temples were lovely. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I thought it was pretty good.
Our tour guides name was Y. He was pointless. He was our English speaking tour guide but he hardly did any speaking about the history of the places we visited. He was basically there to tell us where the toilets were. The lunch stop off was crap. The food was already on the table when we arrived so who knows how long the flies were settling on our food for? It was a 2 hour journey to get there from the old city. We were mainly in the mini bus the whole time of the trip.
The tour was great to get a guide to give history about everything and tid bits here and there, but was not a big fan of the lunch. The walk to the first waterfall only took the group 3-5 mins tops and we were ready to move onto the next one, only mention it because it didnt feel like it was worth viewing the way the platform is set up and the amount of people there. The second waterfall was better for sure. Also felt rushed in the tribal village but still experienced everything we couldve, and we had more than enough time at the pagodas after!
Definitely worth a visit - very beautiful waterfalls and temples and short walks. Unfortunately our tour guides heart really wasnt in it - he just seemed bored and eager to get the day over with, which impacted on the enjoyment of the day a bit. I guess i would also feel the same on occasion but it was a bit disappointing to not have an enthusiastic guide
I was shocked to see how Viator use this kind of poor company for their clients will not recommend Viator to friends guide was good one star rating
After reviewing the many companies providing this tour and based on previous reviews, I enjoyed this small group day tour. As advertised We visited a white village, waterfalls, highest point in Thailand within the Doi Inthanon National park. Gee ( not sure of spelling) our guide was informative and always offering to help. My Wan or Wang was a racing car driver for our small 12 group- very fast but I felt safe throughout the trip along the winding road! I think the time allocated at each stop was adequate. The lunch included was pleasant and plentiful. I would recommend this trip as it includes all entries and lunch.
Tour guide was fun, stayed with the group, told us good facts. Everything was timed very well. Didn’t feel rushed, but also didn’t stay anywhere too long. They started us at a coffee farm and showed us the growing and roasting process. Gave us espresso and offered coffee soap. They did not pressure you to buy something like a lot of places do, but it was such a good price I wish I had bought some! The actual highest point doesn’t have good lookout views, but there are a lot of pretty views throughout the tour. There are better views than the photos I included, but these are some fun ones from my phone.
The tour was wonderful! The driver and guide were very nice and explained everything in an excellent English! Recommend!
The positive part is the Park itself. The nature is beautiful and we wished we could spend several days there. But here comes the negative : the tour. We (and nobody in the car) could understand a single word of what the guide was telling us during the drive. He spoke low and unclear while the motor of the car was very loud. We were taken to two unimpressive waterfalls, where we spent 20 minutes to take pictures. We were then taken to a village, where we could buy touristic overpriced stuff. Then came a rather touristic market, which was followed by an average lunch. 15 minutes at the highest peak in Thailand is something totally skipable. The very last stop were the pagodas. These were the highlight of the trip. In general the tour felt more as if we had booked just a driver but we stopped at places we wouldn't have stopped at if we would have booked one. This feeling was shared with many of the other tourists who joined the tour. Book something better if you can...although options without elephant rides and without visits to the long neck communities are scarse on the market.
We had a fun experience at the national park. Our guide Q was very detailed in his explanation of the sights. The waterfalls were quite a sight. It was quite foggy when we visited the pagodas but it would have been amazing had we had better visibility.
Beautiful scenery but far too much driving involved. Guide spoke good English and had a dry sense of humour which helped the group to bond. The coffee tasting was delicious!
The frustrating part of the tour is that you waste too much time in tourist traps (such as the Karen village) where they just want you to buy random local products. The waterfalls were also very underwhelming. However the twin pagodas are really beautiful. Maybe the tour should only focus on that and make it a half day tour instead of a full day your.
My friend and I did both the Temple Night Tour and Doi Inthanon with this company and loved it! Our guide Faan was extremely pleasant, informative and did a wonderful job of providing the group with a balance of structure and free time to explore. Definitely recommend it!
Fun tour and ticked a lot of boxes, beautiful sights and experiences with a knowledgable guide who made the tour fun... Thank you Faan 😎👍🏻
If you've ever been to Chiang Mai. This is one of the trips you must take to experience the life of Thai up north. There are places such as villages, waterfalls, and Queens pagoda which you will be visiting. The park is beautiful and a bit cold. Our tour guide was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thank you Faan for being with us.
This tour was really good thanks to Fan. He is a knowledgeable, patient and humorous tour guide. Would definitely come back again for another tour. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in nature and culture.
Three of us had a very good time visiting Doi Ithanon. The trip were well planned by our fun tour guide, Faan. We really love the chilly and breezy weather at the highest point of Thailand. You would love the scenery in Twin Pagodas! Lucky for us, it was a sunny day 🌞. We also had a great deal with Faan to visit Doi Suthep. Really love everything about Chiang Mai. #chang
