We enjoyed the bike ride with Farm very much. He guided us safely through the beautiful backstreets of Chiang Mai and explained us the temples and the history of the city. We recommend this tour.

Farm was an amazing guide! This is a must do! My only wish is that I did it earlier in my trip to explore all those hidden cafes and eateries in the small side streets. We also saw temples and markets. Very enjoyable 10/10 🙌🏼
Easy ride through the old town. My guide Farm was knowledgeable and flexible. As I was the only person in the group, I asked if we could travel a bit further. I loved it, especially along the canal. Bike was in good condition and easy to ride. The route was very flat and roads were generally very quiet, I felt safe all the time.
We booked our trip from the UK before flying out and the reviews on Tripadvisor helped us make the decision to book this particular tour, The bikes are very good and we had been asked to provide our height so when we arrived, the bikes had already been selected and set up to our particular measurements. We chose to take our own cycle helmets, but these are provided for you, as is a bottle of water. The bikes are very good quality and you do not need to worry about changing up and down the gears because the ride is at a very relaxed pace. Our guide Don was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the old city and gave us lots of information on the route about the history of Chiang Mai and the various temples. We only visited 3 plus the old gates around the city which is surrounded by a moat. We firstly visited the local morning market and then discovered Chiang Mai was holding its annual flower festival so we were able to see all the flower floats parading through the old town and view the stunning flower displays in the park. We had a coffee/juice stop and it was great to chat with the other couple in our group who came from Munich and learn also about their country. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and can highly recommend this trip.
A great activity to discover hidden spots around the city and get away from the usual tourist areas. The bikes were well maintained, and the tour was well guided and safe. A very enjoyable experience that we would highly recommend. Thank you, Tiew!
This is a really good activity. Kitty was our guide. He was very professional and full of local knowledge. The cycling was safe on many back lanes of the old town. The smoothie stop, with local snacks picked up around our journey was a brilliant end to our morning. I would highly recommend this.
It was an interesting tour gave you some information about where you can go and what you can see. I wish I would have done the tour at the beginning of my stay instead of the end. I also wish we would have spent a little more time at the market and a little more time at the temples our tour could take up to four hours and we were done in three.
Farm was a great guide. He took good care of everyone and was quite knowledgeable.. We went to places I would never find on my own.
Mai was an exceptional tour guide. She was very informative and had great energy. The landmarks visited were delightful and the history education was a great insight to Thailands history. Highly recommended activity if you visit Chiang Mai
Excellent tour. Bikes were good & well maintained. Collected from a bike shop so could be adjusted if necessary. James our guide was funny & v informative. It was great fun & really interesting to follow him on the back alleys & see some lesser known spots in Chaing Mai. Would really recommend this trip. The ride is flat & not strenuous. Big roads are avoided where possible , in fact most of the ride was in the back roads &alleys.
Great way to see the sites of Chiang Mai at night. My guide Ae was fantastic! Knowledgeable and friendly. And we were ben saw some things she wanted to show me not on the typical tour, and went out of the way to make sure I tried a vegetarian khaki Soi when I told her I was vegetarian!
It is very easy rising through the back streets of Chiangmai with a few stops along the way to absorb Thai history.
this is a great way to see some of the highlights of the old town area, learn about the history of Chiang Mai, and take in the sites. Farm was a great guide, we stayed mostly on quieter streets so we weren't fighting with cars on busy streets, and Farm even showed us a great place for lunch and a massage after we were finished.
Super great tour with Mai - would highly recommend and it was surprisingly safe on the bicycle - the local drivers are super respectful
This is a great way to see the quieter back streets of Old Town Chiang Mai and visit temples and the Three Kings Monument. Our guide Mr. T shared lots of information about Buddhism and local history. We felt safe following his direction and cycling the chosen route. Quality bikes and helmets are provided, as well as a refreshing drink and a snack. We enjoyed touring Old Town in this way. Thank you Mr. T!
omg this was hands down the best tour we did all vacation. seeing the city on a bike was incredible. we got to travel down little alleys, see local sites and hit the main town temples. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking to get off your feet and do something different. we had 3 teenage boys and this was perfect!!
A lovely sedate and informative cycle tour around Chiang Mai. Mai led us off the busy main roads and along the back streets to a few temples and markets. Such a lovely lady, spoke great English and not only explained what we were seeing but also about Thai and Buddhist life in general.
The whole experience was great. Our guide Farm was friendly and knowledgeable. We felt looked after and safe all the way around the tour despite the traffic in places. The tour was informative and we learnt both about the history of Chang mai, the temples and Buddha. Thoroughly. Recommend this as a great way to tour the city and get your bearings in the first few days here.
This was a great tour where the bikes were excellent for nipping up and down the back alleys to reach the various historical points. Our guide, James, was knowledgeable and interesting and we especially enjoyed our Chat with the Monks at the temple
Guide was very careful when guiding us on the streets. He was also very knowledgeable with the history of the temples and sites visited. We also had some time to wonder around. Did not feel rushed. So great tour.
A Ride Through Chiang Mai's Ancient City Stepping into the old city of Chiang Mai feels like traveling back in time. Encircled by ancient walls, this historic heart of northern Thailand is a treasure of culture and charm. Wandering its narrow lanes on a ride, my family discovered ornate temples like Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang, where golden spires gleamed under the sun. Thanks for the tour guide Bon who he is talkative, informative and put our safety the first priority.
We enjoyed learning the history of Chiang Mai and doing it in a fun way! I would say this tour is about 50% riding and 50% history (a perfect combination). We stopped at quite a few places (including a smoothie stop!) that you wouldn’t think to stop at if you were exploring on your own. Our guide, Tui, was friendly and knew the way around hidden alleys and busy streets very well. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for an active way to learn history of Chiang Mai. It is not too physically intense and the staff provide water and adjust based on your preferences. Fun!
I had a lovely morning of history, temples, and local fruit with my tour guide, A. Most importantly, I felt safe riding around the city with her. It’s been a few years since I last rode a bike so I was a little wobbly at first, but A made sure I was okay and checked in on me throughout the tour. I really appreciated how many small alleys we rode through instead of the major streets! (There were a few sections on bigger streets too, though.) A’s directions were loud, clear, and easy to follow. She taught us about each of the sites we visited and actually gave a more detailed market tour than I got during the visit to a market I did as part of a Thai cooking class. I definitely saw more of Chiang Mai with A than I would have on my own.
Fantastic tour! I would highly recommend. Our guide was phenomenal with so much humor and knowledge. Thanks for a great day! 5/6/25
Great way to tour Chaing Mai with a thorough and friendly guide. I was the only one on the tour and the conversation and interaction was set to my interests and the pace I was comfortable with. Recommend
I accidentally booked the wrong date, which was after my return flight. When I showed up on the date I thought I booked, I explained my mistake. There were only 3 people booked that day, but they refused to let me switch the day or give a refund. Needless to say, I cannot recommend a tour that treats its customers so poorly.
Great tour with a small group. We were slightly late and the guide was very accommodating. Highly recommend as a way to see the city and find you way around. Thank you
This was a great bike tour of the old city in Chiang Mai. The guide was very informative and expert at navigating us through the roads and alleyways of Chiang Mai. He gave us a brief history of Chiang Mai, we visited two temples, and visited a street market for some snacks. The pace was manageable, and the bikes were in great condition. The guide also gave a restaurant recommendation for a delicious lunch. I recommend this tour!
Great trip! The guide was very pleasant had excellent knowledge of the area and its history. The bikes had been well maintained and came with a helmet and large bottle of water Using the back streets to get around avoided most of the traffic and gave a good insight into the area. Guide spoke perfect English and we went to a number of temples with time to take pictures and look around
Nice bike ride around old town of Chiang May. Owner/guide Kitty was very informative on all kind of topics. Do this ride on the first day of your visit and you will know the city for the rest of your stay.
The biks tour was a fun way to get around town and visit key places. Our guide James (007) spoke clear English and was very knowledgeable in Thai history. Learning and understanding what you are looking at makes the visuals even better. The bikes were in great condition.
Absolutely would recommend! It was my first bike tour ever in a new city and I have to say, I learnt so much and got to see so many of the more local and hidden gems of Chiang Mai. Needless to say, it served for some much needed exercise after a week of eating the delicious Thai food! The guides are fluent in English and the group is small enough that we weren't slow. We also did not at any point feel pressured by time. It was a relaxed tour where, to reiterate, I learnt a lot about local customs, ideology, history, and more.
There were 5 of us in our group and we had a wonderful morning riding around the old city. We stopped at a pop up market for the upcoming flower festival and tried all sorts of foods. The temples were nice and quiet- different from the larger ones we visited in Bangkok, so that was nice. Our tour guide, Farm, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We loved going through the back alleys and then ended at a cafe for some final beverages. I highly recommend this tour.
I had an amazing time cycling around with our guide. He was very professional and let us discover the beauty of the Old City of Chiang Mai, including local temples and markets. The guide spoke good English and that allowed us to ask questions and get to know a lot about the city. Finally, the group was quite small, which was good and made it safer to cycle around.
Bom was a great guide. Very informative with his knowledge of Chiangmai. Easy flat bike ride with lots of photo opportunities. We highly recommend this tour
Amazing trip! Biked through the back alleys and areas of Chiang Mai only a local would know. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and safely brought us through the city. Lots of delicious snacks throughout too!
Great bike tour, we did the half day and it went from 9a-2p since none of us on the tour had plans immediately after. Our Guide (Thew) spoke excellent English and shared both personal stories and local history. He also took great pics for us! We biked about 10 miles, almost entirely flat / non strenuous, and I was amazed at how well local cars / tuk tuks / motorcycles yielded to our group of bikes. The company provides waters, helmets, bikes, and our group got smoothies in the middle of the tour. Really great way to see the old city!!
Terrible. Find another tour group. This company is not reliable and was a disappointing NO SHOW for our last morning in Chiang Mai. We had changed the date of our bike tour through Trip Advisor but apparently this local bike tour company never processed the date change. The tour company representative was very polite and apologetic and assured me of a full refund, but our last precious morning of vacation was lost to us. I had messaged the company directly a few days earlier asking what sights would be included on the tour - with no response from them. This should have been a Red Flag to me that there is no administrative back up . They likely have good guides … but clearly confusion and inept back office operations didn't communicate customer logistics.
This was an unexpectedly fun and light activity in old town Chiang Mai. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive, and it was a fun way to see the city.
My guide was wonderful. He was amiable, knowledgeable and fun. I was lucky enough to be on the booking alone. So I essentially got a private tour of old town, seeing temples which aren't usually visited and getting personal insight into the history of the city. I learnt much more than I expected, tried new foods in the market enjoyed cycling in the sun and learnt more about Buddhism. It was one of my favorite experiences in Chiang Mai. A solid recommendation from me.
What a fantastic experience, probably the best thing we’ve done in Chiang Mai. A great way to see the old city and our guide, Kitty was great. Would highly recommend.
We did this on our first day in Chiang Mai, it was absolutely amazing! The tour guide we had was so much fun, taught us loads about Chiang Mai, took loads of photos and took us on a really cool route. We saw areas of Chiang Mai we wouldn’t never have seen. Back streets, where all the local food markets were (we had the best coconut we’ve had our whole trip here), he got us some fresh fruit from the market. We had a small group of just 3 of us, which was perfect it felt really personal. He took us down a really beautiful canal and did a little off roading. I can’t recommend this tour enough!
Great biking tour. Our tour guide Kitty was the absolute best. He really provided a lot of information and was a joy to ride with . He took excellent care of our group. I would highly recommend
Gun was the perfect tour guide he was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor, I felt the tour was the perfect length. I learnt things I wouldn’t have known by exploring by myself. We were also provided with water and local snacks for no extra charge.
We enjoyed this activity and learning the history of Chiang Mai – and Thailand, although this is probably more accurately described as a history tour with some cycling as the biking bit was pretty minimal – we could have done with a longer tour pointing out a few other places. It was fun zipping down the tiny alleys and stopping inside an original market to sample the local smoothie and other stalls. A little more of this authentic interaction would be even better.
We had the BEST TIME during this bike tour. Our guide was GREAT!!! It is an absolute must if you want to visit the Old City. There are so many tiny streets that biking with a guide through them is a must. She was also very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the culture and the temples. Do not hesitate to book this!!!
Tour guide was very informative on the various attractions we visited the cycling we did was very easy and was on all flat ground we had a nice drink at the end at a local cafe
This was such a great experience! Kitty and Tom were fantastic guides. The bikes were easy to use and the route is flat. Tom took so many videos and photos that he airdropped to us while we had coffee together at the end of the tour. Kitty was very knowledgeable of Chiang Mai’s history. In the temples he helped us participate in the small activities that were offered. They also took us to a bustling food market and Kitty had us try local foods and produce. We definitely learned so much and tried things we wouldn’t have known to on our own. It was truly a highlight of our trip. Thanks!!
What an incredible adventure! Our tour guide, Farm, was a wealth of knowledge and made the experience truly unforgettable. Not only did he share fascinating insights, but he also ensured that we stayed safe on the road throughout the journey. It was a perfect blend of fun and learning!
Fantastic guide and great trip round the old town. Very informative and enjoyable. Hit all the key bits and had time to look round , ask photos and take photos. Would definitely recommend this trip.
