Overcast, not much of a view during the 2 hour tracking Lunch was awful, poor quality with flies flew around.

These twin pagodas were built to honor the 60th birthday of the King and Queen in 1987 and 1992 respectively. One is called Naphamethinidon, meaning "by the strength of the land and air", and the other, Naphaphonphumisiri, meaning "being the strength of the air and the grace of the land". These mirrored buildings are pagodas that have been located at the highest altitude in Thailand. Here admire the huge structures and beauty of the flower garden.
** You can choose this course only during "Winter season (from 01 Nov. until the end of Apr.)" : except this season, you will trek at Pha Dok Siew trail. ** Lets’ enjoy the most beautiful panoramic view you will ever see in Thailand while Trekking at the Kew Mae Pan trail. The trek is about 2hours through the lush cloud forests. Get the gorgeous clear view at the viewpoint and experience the natural beauty of Thailand as you walk along the nature trail; pristine forests, mountain views, flora, and fauna.
**You can choose one of "Pha Dok Siew" and "Kiew Mae Pan" nature trails.** In trekking Pha Dok Siew trail, you will walk for 2 hours through the jungle following a narrow mountain trail that leads you to a stunning hidden waterfall in the middle of lush jungle. Along the way before reaching the Karen hill tribe village, you will pass through the farmland where you will see the coffee plantation, and beautiful rice terraces. the possibility to see is around July - the middle of November)
At Ban Mae Klang Luang, a Karen hill-tribe village, Witness their lifestyle, culture, and traditions. Observe the local women performing traditional clothing weaving. They also grow organic coffee and you will be able to sample and buy Chiangmai's best coffee.

Very well organised tour, friendly guide and everything was timely and well managed. Good that they offer hotel pickup as it's a fairly early start. Even better that there was a quick pit stop shortly after heading out to make sure anyone who hadn't had breakfast could grab a bite to eat as it'd be a long day. Would recommend for other solo travellers too
A great day trip with fabulous views and waterfalls. Locals were very knowledgeable and shared lots of insights - the day was very relaxed and we never felt under pressure to move on. The day was an actual reflection of the trip description and didn’t feel like a ‘tourist trap’. We loved it all 🙂 The only slight improvement that could be made was the lunch which was very basic, very bland and lukewarm. That was disappointing and not reflective of Thai food at all
This tour made it easy to visit various areas of the park and get history along the way. WEAR your poncho when you get out to see the water falls!
This was a very well organised tour with good communication from operator, an enthusiastic guide who spoke good English and a comfortable mini bus. A lot was done and seen and at no stage felt a stop too long or too short besides the walk which felt a bit rushed, but then, it was wet. We were 15 in our group, aged 10-60, and 7 different nationalities - good fun! It was low season but can imagine that in high season it gets busy with queues and bumbing into the same groups at the different stops. Oh, do bring proper walking shoes, the trail was slippery (rainy season) and a raincoat or jumper as well.
Our guide was amazing - really friendly and funny and told us lots of interesting facts. We were also accompanied by 2 local Karen guides on the hike portion of the trip who were invaluable! They'd point out interesting plants and animals that I would have completely missed otherwise because they blended in so well with the environment. Great tour - highly recommend, especially if you like nature!
A good experience, they fit alot into the day. Was unfortunately very foggy when we went so didn't get to see any views but the cloud forest trek was a highlight
My partner had food poisoning so couldn't come. Trip was great but a long day with just a little too much packed into it. Coffee was good and partner was upset to miss it.
We had a fantastic time on this trip. The best thing we’ve done in Thailand so far. It’s quite a way out of the city but the air conditioned bus was comfortable. We stopped at an amazing waterfall first, then went on to trek in the national park. We saw 3 snakes and a giant spider which were pointed out by our local guide. The walk was really interesting and not too challenging. Lunch in the Karen village was delicious and the coffee is amazing. After the hike we went on to the highest spot in Thailand. The cooler air was a welcome relief (19c). Then we went on to the twin pagodas which were also well worth seeing. We stopped at a market on the way back before being dropped off at our hotel. The whole day lasted from 7:30am till 6 pm. The day was very well organised and our guide, Q, was absolutely brilliant. He knew everything we wanted to know at each stop and even taught us some Thai phrases during the day, he was a really lovely guy. Great trip. 10/10. Definitely recommend.
I got picked up from my hotel in time to join the party of 12 for the trip on 15th Jan 2020. During the initial 2h Kew mae pan -trek there wasn't much guiding from the guide, but when he started telling stuff and explained the area's history in a small museum, every sentence was as hilarious as it was educational. I'd have been happy to pay just to hear that, so make sure you don't miss it! Speaking of missing, twice we would have left without everyone on board if a traveler hadn't told the guide - small issues, right? I must say that the schedule was very well done; not too much time at the market or village (10-15 mins) while spending a good 30 mins at a great waterfall and just about enough on the 2h trek. (Other similar trip reviews seemed have had worse timings.) I would have trekked a bit slower to enjoy the forests and views more, but it wasn't bad either. I think I got a lot of value for my money: -2h trek through Kew Mae Pan -View from highest point of Thailand (not that great tbh) -Museum explanation (brilliant by the ex-police guide!) -Quick market stop (unnecessary but quick) -Lunch -Quick local village visit with local coffee -Visit 2 big pagogas -Visit an actually good waterfall even during dry January (make sure to walk down!)
It was a really nice experience. Beautiful views, nice people and a big adventure being in the Jungle! Fully recommended to do ! Bensin was a rly good tour guide as well, so if you get the Chance to go on a tour with him, dont miss out!
Tolle Tour mit geilem Wasserfall, landschaftlich wundervoller Wanderung und beeindruckenden Heiligtümern
It was very good. Thailand is often associated with temples and the sea, but this tour gave me an opportunity to learn about another Thailand. The guide lady was very enthusiastic and kind.
A completely successful tour. Especially the waterfalls and the hike along the rice fields were very nice. Even if the rice terraces were still dry, it was a wonderful sight. On the hiking route it goes down a few stairs. For someone with limitations, this might be less suitable. Otherwise easy to run. Our guide Choo explained everything in detail and gave us an introduction to the Thai welcome gesture. Also the lunch was very delicious, as well as the coffee and tea tasting.
Very touristy. We have the 2hrs. Trekking tour booked, but had to tick off all tourist stop including markets, etc. the nature experience was cure and more of a photo walk.
Super tour of Doi Inthanon National Park. There should be some fitness for the hike, but then the hike is great! The guide was very eager to explain everything. The timing of the trip is good and you are not too long in a place so you are bored.
