The waterfalls were powerful and beautiful, and we could get close for photos. The stops were well timed, so we never felt rushed. .The guide was very friendly and knowledgable.

Itinerary
It's wide and loud, and if you stand at the front you'll feel the mist on your face. Bring a rain jacket or just accept that you might get a little wet. It's a great warm-up and a good first photo stop of the day.
Trek through stunning vistas and lush forests, and discover diverse wildlife in one of Thailand’s most beloved national parks. Explore the Angka Nature Trail, a scenic boardwalk through a lush, moss-covered cloud forest filled with unique plants and rich biodiversity. Ascend to Thailand's highest peak and capture unforgettable photos with the summit sign.
Dedicated to the late King and Queen of Thailand, these stunning pagodas offer spectacular views over the national park.
After lunch, we’ll head to a small village home to the Hmong tribespeople, where you can learn about their customs and participate in traditional coffee brewing.
Next, we’ll witness the thundering 80m waterfall, often accompanied by a spectacular rainbow, showcasing Doi Inthanon’s natural beauty.

A well planned tour with a knowledgeable guide and good timing at each stop. The sites were interesting and varied, and the service was reliable from start to end.
We hava wonderful day with my girlfriend in this tour. Great service and a fair price for a full day with three stops. The car was clean and comfortable, and the staff was polite and attentive throughout the trip. Every stop was well organized and gave us enough time to fully enjoy the sights. I would definitely book with them again. Our guide Banana was very friendly and gave us very good explanations throughout the day.
Very good value for a full day trip. The pickup was on time, the guide spoke clear English and we never felt rushed at any stop.
We visited a local village and tried fresh coffee grown in the hills. It was nice to learn how people live here. A real and friendly experience!
Everything was well organized, from pickup to drop off. The timing was perfect for all three places and the team answered every question fast. Easy and stress free.
A romantic and calm day in the mountains. Beautiful views, fresh air and sweet little stops along the way. We will remember it for a long time.
What a relief from the Thai heat! The air at the top was cool and fresh, and the views were wide and green. Bring a light jacket and enjoy.
We had an amazing day out to the national park! The park itself is beautiful, we saw lots just in 1 day. Our guide was Nana and we had Bank as our driver. Nana was very funny and knowledgable about what she does! We had the best time, definitely recommend as a must do when your in Chiang Mai!
The tour is 5,5 Hours not 10. The time in the Mountains is short and only a guided path. Don’t expect views from the highest point or the Valley below. Its all trees. No time to wander. Time a twin pagodes 40min not 2,5h. Lunchstop is overpriced spicy and Outside. English of the guide could be better. Time at waterfall 20 Min and the Village was staged.
Very frustrating experience with the tour operator’s head office customer service. They use an AI agent that I was going around in circles with the evening before my tour, during their operating hours. I received conflicting information from their AI agent about my pick-up time, telling me it was confirmed and then unconfirmed. It was also asking me for paperwork which I had submitted already. Tired of its hallucinations, I then tried to confirm the pick-up with the tour guide via text, but she was not responding, leading me to doubt whether she would actually show up. The next morning, I still could not connect with a human agent, but the guide finally texted me back. As for the tour, it ending up being meh as the guide’s English was heavily accented making it difficult to understand. TLDR: it’s not worth the stress of dealing with a large, impersonal tour company like Trip Guru. It’s better to go with a smaller, local operator where there is an actual human.
Unfortunately, this operator excludes necessary costs to make their tour more financially attractive. Yes, we knew entrance fees were excluded. No problem, and lunch was excluded. That's fine, we can make our own arrangements, but on arrival at the lunch stop, in a Karen village, 1 option was available with a set menu and set price. 200thb per person for 5 courses. Each dish was a normal standard size serve that was shared on our table by 4 people. About 400thb in food with a charge of 800thb. When lunch is excluded, options must be made available. Then onto our guide, Jackie. Lovely bloke but did not cater for a diverse age group of tourists. A rushed walk on the national park walkways saw us catching the group halfway through Jackie's commentary. We were enjoying the nice walk but missed out on much of the info. Next, the minibus. Our bus was ready for the scrap heap. It was incredibly dirty inside. I bet seats had never been cleaned and the suspension is stuffed. A ridiculously rough ride.
Doi Inthanon - Great Day- Very Good Guide - Recommend The pick-up location was very busy and confusing as several tours and other organizations were using the same pick-up location. Our instructions were to look for our guide in a green shirt. However, it was a chilly morning, and she had a jacket on and made it more difficult to locate her. Once we got started, our guide Leela was great. She was organized, patient, and had a lot of good information to share. The tour was well paced so there was ample time at each site. Walked to the highest point in Thailand, visited the King and Queen Pagodas. Especially enjoyed visiting the coffee village and the waterfall. The Yod Doi Nature Trail was a lovely walk with great views. Enjoyed lunch spot with good food.
We really enjoyed highest point in Thailand at this national park and truly enjoyed the view from the twin pagodas. Our tour guide was extremely friendly and made the trip all the more memorable.
Our guide Nana took a good care of us and taught us the history and nature of Chiang Mai. The group had a good size with people from different countries. The lunch was plenty and tasty. ガイドのナナさんはとても面倒見がよく、チェンマイの歴史や自然について良く知っていました。一人旅でも参加しやすいツアーだと思います。
Tour guide was excellent and whole family enjoyed the tour. Relaxed tour and plenty of time at each stop. Waterfall was amazing and very much enjoyed visiting Hill tribe village.
Great itinerary and pace, led by a highly engaging and energetic guide, Peter. He made a very large trip feel very comfortable and intimate through amazing communication and rapport with all the guests.
The trip was an excellent experience. Pictures do not do justice tot he natural and cultural beauty in all the stops of this trip. The guide and the driver were very attentive to all our needs as well as knowledge and the history of the national park. Well worth the time if you are in the area.
Samphan was a friendly, funny, informative guide on this awesome day trip. Great sights to see and experience, nice to get away from the heat of Chiang Mai town.
A great mix- excitement of the waterfall, tranquility of the forest, grandeur of the pagodas and mountain views, village food, coffee...PERFECT! And they got us back in time for the dancing! Thank you SASIN and Mr Bom!
I had a wonderful experience with this small tour group to Doi Inthanon National Park. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the small group made the day feel personal and relaxed. We had plenty of time to enjoy the waterfalls, twin pagodas, forest walk, and a respectful visit to the Karen village. Lunch was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, it felt like a day out with friends—highly recommended!
Fabulous experience! Picked up from our hotel in Chiang Mai for our full day Doi Inthanon tour. Our guide, Art, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The Pagodas, coffee village and waterfall were highlights of the day!
I took the Doi Inthanon Eco-Friendly tour in March and really enjoyed it. Everything was well planned and easy to follow which I appreciated. Our guide, Nana, was such a kind woman, very helpful and shared a lot of interesting information about the local culture and nature. One of my favorite parts was the walk through the forest Angka trail. It was so calm and beautiful and not too difficult to walk either. The views from the Twin Pagodas and the highest point in Thailand were absolutely lovely. It was nice to take our time and really soak it all in. Lunch was simple but delicious and I appreciated that everything felt very local and not touristy. The van was clean and comfortable and we were always on time. I felt safe and looked after throughout the day. I’d definitely recommend this tour especially if you enjoy nature and learning about different cultures.
Sam, our tour guide, was funny and amazing 😀 he helped taking photos for our group and very knowledgeable about the history of the location. Our driver was also great at his job 😀 getting us to many places safely 😀 it was a wonderful outing for us being first time visiting Thailand 😀 thank you Sam 😀
Top experience in Chiang Mai. Nana is the best guide I ve ever had and I ve travelled a lot! - Waterfalls - Hiking - Pagodas - Monks These are just some of the beautiful things You ll se.
Lana was a great guide, very knowledgeable, funny and had a lot of energy! we really enjoyed our time, and highly recommended!
We were picked up promptly from one of the meeting points, as our hostel was not in the pick up zone. It was a little confusing as there were other groups gathering there. Tai kept in contact through WhatsApp and we found each other quickly. First, we went to the waterfall, then the highest point in Thailand with a nature walk. After that, we went to the twin Supthas- the grounds and the supthas were beautiful! The story told in each was meaningful. There was an escalator up to each, but not down, so if you have mobility issues you'll want to consider this. We stopped for lunch outside the park gates and had a decent meal at a good price. Finally, we visited the Karen Village and watched them weave, walked through some of the village and has some of their coffee- which was strong and delicious! There were weaving and coffee to purchase to help support the village. It was a nice tour with Tai offering information and history along the way. The van was comfortable and water was offered. My brother and his partner arrived in Chiang Mai a couple of days after us and we recommended they take this tour! My only wish is that Tai would have asked that the guests introduce themselves and where they were visiting from to break the ice. It was a long day and no one spoke to anyone else until lunch, but just a little and then to say goodbye. Other than that- excellent excursion!
Excelent experience , great views and landscapes. Best fresh coffee ever tasted in the coffee village. Full day with nice scenery
Nana was an awesome tour guide. She is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable! Her English is great. Tony was our driver and he drove up and down the mountain roads like a champ!
The Tour was absolutely incredible and not very tiring to walk and see everything. The waterfall was beautiful. Our guide Nana was hands down the best guide I have ever had, she was very knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Very well organised. Good time management. Our guide looked after us very well, but his English was a bit hard to understand
Don Inthanon is an experience not to be missed if you’re in Chiang Mai, especially if you enjoy being in nature. My 2 sisters and I were picked up from our hotel, right on time, by the ever smiling and helpful Avi. Avi’s calm, gentle, and friendly demeanor eased interactions between nine absolute strangers who found themselves together, and his jokes gave us something to laugh about! Our experience of the wachirathan waterfall and the summit of Doi Inthanon was awe inspiring. The two short trails we walked at the Doi were easy and can be accomplished by most people. You just need to remember to wear suitable shoes. What was extraordinary was the fauna that greeted us in the trails. You could breathe in the fragrant jungle and take in the silence and serenity that only comes in the unspoiled wild. The twin pagodas at the end were also very beautiful. The most interesting part of the tour was visiting a Karen village and experiencing their simple lives. We got introduced to native coffee growers and had a lovely coffee tasting experience! I ended up buying a lot of it! However, the entire trip was made absolutely special by how much care Avi took of each and every passenger, making sure that there were appropriate restroom breaks and helping each of us with our lunch order. By the end of the trip, Avi seemed more like a friend than a guide.
A fantastic trip to the national park. We visited 2 waterfalls, the twin pagodas and had a delicious lunch in a nearby village. We also got to learn about how coffee was made in Thailand had a taster of a few different teas/coffees. The whole day was very comfortable, we were driven to each location and were guided by our wonderful guide, Nana. She was informative and so much fun, making the trip super enjoyable. Definitely recommend!
Everything about this trip was great! Made even better by our Guide Sam - what an awesome person. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to see Doi Inthanon.
Tour guide Art was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The whole day trip to Doi Inthanon National Park was great. We visited amazing waterfalls, the highest spot in Thailand, and got to check out some of the locally grown coffee, which was also on sale at reasonable prices.
Great selection of places. Excellent guide. There was not much walking but the places we visited were great. The views from the two pagodas were special.
Good value tour with great sights and stops. Beautiful waterfalls and lovely landscaping at the pagodas. Tour guide was great!
Sam was a great tour guide, he had lots of knowledge and information. It was very enjoyable and well organised, with enough time at all the sights.
This trip was fantastic from start to finish! Our driver picked us up on time and we were introduced to our guide Nana who is an absolute superstar! The waterfall is majestic, white village very wholesome and the views from the national park are incredible. This was one of the best tours we’ve ever done and it was all thanks to Nana who made it so great!
It was a great tour in a comfortable minibus with a very friendly guide Jomkwan. We’d seen so beautiful locations: a waterfall, yan authentic village, mountain temples and a tropical forest. The guide was a very good storyteller and we learned a lot of new things about the history and culture of Thailand
Nana and Eid were excellent! Super friendly , highly informed and great photog! Safe driving too. Thanks! Highly recommended.
The tour was very well planned and organised. In particular, the guide Ms Nuttaya was very knowledgeable, kind and caring person and made the trip really enjoyable. Thanks for the experience and it is definitely recommended
As a solo traveler who often finds group activities less appealing, I was pleasantly surprised by this exceptional day tour. The pace was ideal – engaging without feeling rushed. The diverse itinerary kept me captivated throughout, a refreshing contrast to the monotony I've experienced on other tours. Lunch was a delightful buffet offering a wide variety of dishes, culminating in a delicious mango sticky rice dessert. The value was incredible at just 160 Thai Baht per person. However, the true star of the tour was our guide. Her vibrant personality, enthusiasm, and infectious joy made the entire experience truly memorable.
This tour started with a waterfall visit and ended in a mountain village coffee plantation shop. And all in-between Nana, our experienced and warm guide, took us to see and visit with people who felt like family. We saw the pagodas of a past king and queen, stopped at produce market, and even enjoyed sticky rice and mango all while taking in the scenery. But the vibrant community spirit of Mae Klang Village where we ate a delicious lunch and sipped coffee is likely an experience I will never forget. My wife and I have been rejuvenated by the camaraderie these people share and the togetherness we felt there. Nana played a big role in our enjoyment of today. Thank you Nana!
It was a very good and relaxing tour! Tour Guide Nana was very kind and funny, and driver George was very safe! We had a great time exploring different parts of the park.
Amazing day, Nana was such a fantastic guide and I had a great time. Highly recommend, pictures cannot capture how beautiful the park is.
Superb day out with the most fantastic and enthusiastic guide At. He really looked after us the whole day. Bus driver was safe, bus was clean and comfortable. Great team! Highly recommended tour
The minibus broke down on the way up the very steep hill - the gearbox or clutch just gave out. Quite frightening rolling back down the hill until the driver managed to stop the bus and let us all out. Tour guide asked us to push the van up the hill which we all refused to do. Just as well as bus kept rolling backwards. However, she did sort out other minibuses to get us around and eventually back to Chiang Mai.
Guide was knowledgeable and the ride was comfortable and smooth. Very convenient because they offer to pick you from your hotel.
Wonderful trip and Sam was the best guide. Highly recommended. Everythibg perfectly organized and lots of information
