Itinerary
Visit the beautiful Wachirathan waterfall, one of the highlights of Doi Inthanon National Park and the most impressive of all the waterfalls in Chiang Mai. Because of the incredible height, the waterfall creates a mist in the surrounding, making it a picturesque sight. Together with the mossy rocks and emerald water it gives this place a magical atmosphere. There’s a colorful rainbow appearing in front of the waterfall every time the sun is shining through the mist which makes it a very photogenic spot. The duration included traveling time from Chiangmai to Doi Inthanon. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other place.
Sirithan Waterfall is a spectacular sight where the waters of the Mae Klang River cascade down a dramatic rock cliff before joining the river below. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, with dense forests framing the rushing water, creating a serene and picturesque setting. While visitors cannot approach the base of the waterfall, it can be admired from a scenic viewpoint, allowing you to appreciate the full height and power of the cascading water as it tumbles gracefully down the cliff. This vantage point also offers excellent photo opportunities, capturing the waterfall’s natural beauty against the backdrop of the highland forests and misty mountain landscape. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other.
Visit the King and Queen chedis, two beautiful pagodas that were built in honor of the former King and Queen of Thailand. These mirrored buildings sit atop the mountain and are surrounded by manicured flower gardens with jaw-dropping views of the valley below. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other place.
Exploring Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest point in Thailand. One of the most popular national parks in Thailand. Experience amazing viewpoints and enjoy the all year round cooler temperatures weather. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other place.
Take a short and easy nature walk along the Ang Ka Nature Trail, a wooden platform path suitable for everyone, and discover the unique flora and forest that thrive at this high altitude in Doi Inthanon National Park. This is not a long or strenuous hike through the rainforest, but a gentle stroll where you can fully enjoy the magical surroundings. The dense, mossy, and lush forest is alive with color and life all year round, offering a peaceful and refreshing escape into nature. Along the trail, you’ll encounter a variety of authentic flora and fauna. Every step brings new sights, sounds, and scents of this remarkable highland environment, making it a wonderful opportunity for photography and simply immersing yourself in nature. The easy walk allows you to take your time, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and marvel at the beauty of Thailand’s highlands. Total time includes traveling time from one place to the other.
Visit the Karen village Baan Mae Klang Luang, named after the Mae Klang river. Nestled in the stunning mountainous setting of Doi Inthanon, this village is surrounded by brilliant green forests, lush rice terraces and verdant coffee fields. In Mae Klang Luang, opium cultivation was the main source of income not too long ago. The Thai government has fought against opium farming among the hill tribes of Northern Thailand for decades, and nowadays the local population earns most of their income from farming, supplemented by tourism. Baan Mae Klang Luang is well known for its coffee crop. Of course you are welcome to sample the locally grown and freshly roasted coffee. Please note that the duration includes travel time between the various stops within the park, and also from Doi Inthanon National Park back to Chiang Mai.

We had an incredible day exploring Doi Inthanon National Park! Every stop was breathtaking, from the stunning waterfalls to the Royal Pagodas. Our tour Nancy was fantastic- so knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about sharing local culture and history. Our driver, Tommy, made the journey smooth and stress free. Very professional and made us feel comfortable and safe thru the winding roads. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you are lucky enough to get Nancy and Tommy!

What a great tour. G.Bright was fantastic. This is the second time I've done this tour and will use their service again to bring friends and family.
Brian is a wonderful guide. The tour is beautiful, especially the village and rice fields. The minivan is spacious and comfortable. I recommend it as a full day trip.
Perfact and nice guide I have good a good day
G. Bright was a fantastic guide, very friendly and conscientious. The trip took us to great places and was very accessible :)
Loved it! G.Bright did a wonderful job showing us his country. We caught an overcast day but we didn't let that dampen our spirits, and GBright didn't let an ounce of negativity in either. Excellent job with English, too. It's worth bringing rain capes but you can buy them at the coffee stop on the way out. Also might want to bring a sweater, the elevation does reduce the temperature quite a bit, which we forgot about. The drive is over an hour to get out to the mountain with the coffee stop etc, therefore also about 90 minutes' drive back, too. I would definitely get this team back for another excursion, thank you both!
Had a trip with Nancy - I LOVED it!!!! Thank you so much for showing us around and giving us a history lesson along the way too!!

The experience was amazing and the guide was informative . It was very much worth the price and time.
We had a wonderful day at Doi Inthanon with our guide, Nancy, and our driver, Hero. We started at beautiful Mae Klang Waterfall and also visited Wachirathan Waterfall, stopped for a beautiful view over rice fields, and visited the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest point in Thailand. I especially enjoyed the wooden nature trail through the misty forest. Nancy explained how moisture collects in the trees and eventually feeds the waterfalls below, which made the walk much more interesting. The King and Queen Pagodas were impressive even though the mist limited the views, and the interiors were stunning. I also really enjoyed walking through the Karen village, where we saw a woman weaving, people building a house by hand, and other aspects of everyday village life before tasting locally grown tea and coffee. Nancy was knowledgeable throughout the day and very good at explaining the history, culture, and nature of the places we visited. More importantly, she paid attention to the people in her group and adjusted to what they needed. When I was having some difficulty with the walking, she was exceptionally kind and helpful. Hero was also excellent and very accommodating, even holding an umbrella for us in the rain. Their thoughtfulness really showed at the end of the day. As we were discussing where they should drop me off, I mentioned that I needed to find a pharmacy but didn't know of one near my hotel. I wasn't actually asking them to take me to one, but before I knew it, Hero had spotted a pharmacy along our route and stopped for me. Nancy came inside with me and helped with translation, and Hero waited for us. They then drove me directly to my hotel. Nancy and Hero were excellent hosts as well as guide and driver. Their knowledge, flexibility, and genuine attention to their guests made this a memorable day and a tour I would highly recommend.
This was a great experience! Pick up was from hotel, out guide Nancy was very knowledgeable and kind. The van has AC and is very comfortable (it is not an open back jeep). The tour also had a good pace. Would recommend!

Tik was a great guide to follow. He knows a lot about his country and shares it with passion. His perfect english makes the trip very confortable as well. The sites are well selected and the all tour is a good way to discover the country side around Chiang Mai. With the car mainly, and some walks, not more than 10mins. Kop kun Krap 🙏
This was a great trip and made very easy by our guide Nancy. Very informative guide and could see how passionate she was. This tour ticked all the experiences we wanted to see, and did not feel rushed.

We had a wonderful time on this excursion to Doi Inthanon. Our guide was simply exceptional, incredibly polite, welcoming, and passionate. His explanations about the history, nature, and local culture were super clear and insightful. Special mention for his warm and bright personality, which truly made the day feel full of light and positivity. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
Great day. Tour guide G. BRIGHT was ultra polite, friendly and knowledgeable.
Suzy, our guide, was fantastic, she was very informative, friendly, warm, and kind. The driver drove safely and the vehicle was also very comfortable. The tour was an excellent combination of nature, village, and cultural activities. Listen to suggestions regarding a light sweater and possible mist or rain. Highly recommend for a day trip from Chiang Mai.
Small group of 4 which I enjoyed. Susie is great and attentive. She knows her stuff. 😊
Suzie was delightful, patient, and knowledgeable. Tour showed us a lot of interesting cultural, and natural spots. Highly recommended!
The Doi Inthanon tour with G.Bright& D.Arm has been one of the most precious experience in Thailand for me. I was the only tourist that day and we went on the tour as scheduled. The guide G.Bright is a very lovely, warm-hearted and considerate young boy. He answered all my questions about Thai culture and gave detailed explanations about the scenic spots along the way. He taught me some Thai words which I had been wanting to learn desperately. The driver D. Arm is a very polite and reliable man. I think they are just inherently kind people and I felt it right after we met. So although I’m a girl traveling alone, I didn’t feel insecure even for a moment. We bonded with each other so quickly. And of course, the view of Doi Inthanon is breathtaking. I think they did a good job protecting the natural environment. I saw some powerful, amazing natural views that I never saw before in my country. In a word, I was so touched by the natural view and the sincerity of the staff. Definitely gonna come back again.
This was an amazing experience! Our guide, Tic (not sure of name spelling) was so informative, friendly, and kind! The waterfalls were spectacular! Our time in the hill tribe village was great—from learning about their way of life and how they support themselves with their crops, vegetation, and flowers. We tasted their authentically made coffee, teas, and food. The lunch at the restaurant was so tasty. We visited during the rainy season, but the weather did not dampen the experience. The twin pagodas dedicated to the late king and his mother were exquisite! And we bought plenty at the market—all kinds of tasty treats made from the crops they grow.
G. Bright and D. Kan were amazing guides. I was completely by myself and we literally just hung out and talked the entire time, while they supplied me with useful information about the places we went. Would highly recommend everyone to book them.
Excellent 2 guys Knowledgable, friendly I’m vegan and they accommodated food for me
Saman was a great guide. He had lots of experience and we truly enjoyed our trip.
I had a great time with our guide G. Bright and driver Tammy. Our guide was well informed and answered our questions. The luscious forrest of Doi Inthanon was spectacular and the morning mist made it dreamy. Comfortable travel and had a delicious meal for lunch at a local restaurant.
Tik Tok was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. Definitely recommend him and this trip.
