A great experience! The fights and the atmosphere were brilliant. There was even a bit of a comedy skit at the interval which was good fun. It was the only place to serve alcohol on a religious holiday.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but the event was professional and really entertaining. Really great evening and definitely worth the experience!
Great friendly staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. Would definitely recommend stay here. When I come back I will be booking here.
Nice to see traditional thai sport. Some of tournaments are for free so check not to pay when it is not required. Recommend.
Good night watching the fights with a few beers and snacks! Great experience with a great atmosphere!
Never saw a boxing match before but I can say I truly enjoyed this. You can not visit Thailand without going to the must Thai stadium!
I am satisfied with watching the boxing for more than two hours. Unlike Bangkok or Pattaya, the atmosphere of the stadium has a local feel, which was also good. Also, the location is good as it is right next to Thapae Gate.
The boxing is worth watching and the service is great. Absolutely no issues with the events. The negative…. The bathroom. There is a toilet for which you pay 10 baht per visit. It is 🤢 disgusting. No flush. Wet, nasty, stinky, and dirty. If you’re going to watch these matches be sure to relieve yourself before you attend and don’t drink too much beer. Avoid the toilet. Can’t say I’ve ever seen something so gross.
This was a fun thing to do in Chiang Mai! The boxing stadium was not crowded and pretty small, but I like that. There are multiple matches so lots of variety. Overall, a really fun night!
This was a fun thing to do at night in Chiang Mai! It was interesting to see this part of Thai culture!
Overall, we had a good time. We decided to get the VIP tickets with the separate air conditioned area because Chiang Mai was crazy hot that week. We were a little unsure at first but sober traveler friends we'd meet raved about it. We arrived, were promptly seated, and waited for the show to start. It did start a little later than promised, but that was understandable, since most of the audience hadn't arrived on time. The fights were fast-paced and didn't goo round after round, so that was good. I didn't want to stay the entire night, but there were a bunch of fights and a couple where one fighter weed brought down in the first or second round. My only complaint about the VIP section was that if felt separate from the energy of the crowd, since we weren't experiencing the heat, sounds, and action with the rest of the audience. One of the worker's little girl did keep going into and out of the VIP section, jumping on the couches and yelling, which got distracting and annoying over the course of the evening, so that should be something the owners could take action on in the future.
The fighters were younger than I thought! Glad to see a place where young people can go and learn something that can keep them out of trouble!
A great introduction to the art of Muay Thai. The fight card was a variety of skill levels so that, even though each fight wasn't at a professional skill level, you could appreciate the growth in skill with each fight. Our service at ringside was fantastic and we had a very memorable evening.
Do NOT buy your tickets online. Way overpriced. Most of the fighters looked like they were highschool friends. Not pleased with the price on Viator.
Wonderful !! It was so good!! A MUST! The ring side seat was amazing too. And wow. Totally impressed with the fights. Was better than expected.
Guys....what a scam !!! Some of The fights were FIXED !!! I have a martial arts background, and i can assure you,the people wondering around were making a fortune taking bets off the 100% tourists that were attending(no locals).....and unfortunately, most of them were oblivious to the SCAM ! The experience of being in a shed in the far east watching the fights was ok...but the fights were rubbish !!
Amazing shows. Very entertaining highly recommend. Food offered is great ! Uncomfortable seats but what do you expect for a local stadium it’s all apart of the experience.
From purchasing the tickets, to picking them up out front before the fight, everything was quick and easy! Great atmosphere where you can enjoy ice cold beets and front row seats to some great action! Highly recommend!
So many matches to see! It was an easy check-in and fun experience. Highly recommend everyone go check this out.
I went to Chiang Mai to purposely catch a Monster fish and I caught loads. Visited Tiger Kibgdom, Thai Muay boxing, midnight markets etc.
Great experience. Wasn’t sure what to expect but my son really enjoyed it. Saw about 5 or 6 fights and were sitting ringside. Very easy to find stadium in old town Chiangmai. You can get drinks there. Incredible to watch so close.
A great night out. - we were made to feel very welcome at the fight - it was a really great experience. The fighters didn’t hold back and we saw some great Thai boxing. We purchased at the event and saved ourselves 50% off the advertised price - we paid 1000 baht for ringside seats. Drinks were sensibly priced and we found a local fun bar ! Highly recommended night
Amazing experience! We got very good seats, we could see the matches very well. Definitely cheaper if you buy tickets with I Asia Thailand. The prices for drinks are reasonable as there is a server walking around. Fights were excellent and the atmosphere electric
Great fight. Fighters are teenagers, ladys, and young adults. Suggest you come around 9 pm after the warm ups. We had great seats and a clear view and its a great atmosphere
very easy and smooth to book online and pick up tickets at gate. Good seats for viewing. There were both male and female matches. Drinks were available for purchase.
After reading some reviews on various sights, I was apprehensive about the legitimacy of the fights and overall experience, but I was way keener to go and hope for the best. So glad we did! We got tickets from a general tourist activity place, the night of, about 2 hours before it was due to start (for 100b cheaper than the advertised price). They offered a pickup from our hotel, also. We watched 6 fights, mostly fighters under the age of 20 (not little children like some people have been writing), but all of which were legit fights as far as I'm concerned. They were hitting the **** out of each other, with tact and precision. The arena was a cool outdoor spot, under cover, but plenty of fresh air. We got the cheapest seats, which were about 1 metre away from the ones for double the price, so absolutely no need to spend that money. A big bottle of Chang was 120b, so super reasonable. Good mix of Thais and foreigners! I couldn't recommend more highly to go.
Our visit to the boxing stadium was well worth it. We chose the VIP package that got us close up seating in an air conditioned room. The room was comfortable, the beers cold and the fights were interesting. This is a good way to experience the local sport.
There were 4-5 fights with different male and female muay thai boxers! However, the staff didnt come to take my order for drinks!
Impressive experience, the boxers are ready, the atmosphere, the music, the show. Only downside, the fighting was fast...
We were very disappointed with what you promote as “authentic Muay Thai.” There were children fighting(!), which we felt unpleasant. The fights seemed staged, and we feel deceived. We left early due to discomfort. We ask for a full refund and urge you to stop promoting this worthless show.
Cheaper at the door than online. Fighters were okay. Nothing to write home about. Drinks and food available. Ringside or not makes no difference
They sell you the ticket as if you were going to see a good fight and it was 80% kids from the gym who looked like fans. The gym is very crappy and the drink prices are not cheap at all: 80 baht for a small Leo. catches tourists
The stadium ia very basic. But the fights therefore no less exciting. Lady fights and men's fights. If you don't know how to do anything on a night it is highly recommended.
The fighting is real, no doubt! Six fights for the evening, two teenagers, two women, and two adults, one of them international. Many tourists certainly, but interesting!
