The hike+bike was fun and exciting!! The guides that accompanied our group were were smart and caring, telling us about interesting cultural notions, but also making sure our bikes were safe at all times (for me he replaced a break pad on the way). Ppl in the group were well matched and overall fit and daring. Totally recommended!!

Good hiking in the mountain, it was quite easy and we had a great ride the mountain in the mountain bike. A and Tony were great guides.
My guides A and Jon were great. The lead guide (A or Ay) spoke excellent English but both were cheerful, helpful, and allowed us to have a a lot of fun, but simultaneously managed to keep us safe. I’d highly recommend anybody who has never been, an excellent beginners experience, but you have to have the courage and willingness to potentially fall. These guys are very safety minded, though, and nobody who fell got injured. The green canopy views, the feel of the windy hillside, and all the beautiful sounds of the forest like the cicada, and the birds, were really an amazing and worthwhile excursion from the town.
Guide: 10/10 Bike Maintenance: 3/10 Great experience, the tour was planned well, with a nice hike, good lunch, some great views, and fun biking. We did not actually see a waterfall on our hike, and we had to stop on the bike 12+ times for bike maintenance issues. Mostly the chains would not stay on, but also my breaks started to fail part way down and we had to replace break pads. The break lines weren't bled properly so the brakes were spongy. My guides fork broke, so he had to send me solo down the more challenging parts. As with any guided tour, you experience will vary depending on the skill level of your group. We went with a small group and did the whole descent in 39 minutes, but my guide said some groups take 3-4 hours to do the same route which would be a painfully slow pace for someone who has mountain biked before.
This was utterly breathtaking! Our guide was Danay (sorry if spelt incorrectly) the weather was bad! It was raining and hot the conditions on the way up and down were horrendous but we did not stop enjoying ourselves from start to finish. I am a fit person but this was HARD! I have done this before when it was dry and it was easier but we were fighting with the elements the whole way and sadly I had to get off the bike a few times on the way down because I’m a wimp! Danay never made me feel bad in fact we had the most amazing conversation. He told us all about his life and showed great interest in ours! It was an experience we will never forget! His knowledge of the area and his constant lookout for wild boar and snakes resulted in us spotting a golden web spider! I recommend this to anyone but it’s not for you if you are not fairly fit! That said; I would recommend anyone to take this opportunity! The views, the food, the stories, the jungle the people! It was outstanding!
I was alone with the guide, riding through mud and the forest. It is not easy, and you must be ready to suffer a little... but it is so rewarding! We went through small mud paths, even if I feel relatively comfortable on bike, I was breaking the whole time. The company had brought full protection gears for me, and the bike was in an excellent shape. So the everything was provided to make sure the real risk would be minimised. Be ready to suffer up-hill, be very focussed and happy your breaks work well as you go downhill, and enjoy amazing views and encounters that you would probably not have done otherwise.
The trip was amazing. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was due to them having to change our trip itinerary last minute to do the sticky waterfall and 22km back country biking. Still was epic, but not the original plan/trip we wanted. But our guides were fun and the views were still amazing.
Completed the hike and downhill mountain bike in January 2025. I am an experienced hiker and novice mountain biker. The hike had interesting sections, especially at the start, while the higher elevation (thus cooler temperatures) and lack of crowds made it an enjoyable experience. The downhill mountain bike trail was at my level (beginner) and the bikes were in good condition. My guide (Khun A) was knowledgeable, funny and spoke very good English. Overall I would recommend.
Hike was challenging in the beginning, fantastic overall. View from the top was worth it, along with coffee and a great meal in the village, followed by downhill and cross country mountain biking. At the bottom more sights, an opportunity to cool down in a lake and more delicious Thai food to recover before heading back to Chiang Mai. Thank you Donia for being the best guide we could have asked for in everything we did!
This was quite the experience. First of, everything was run very well. From hotel pick up, bike size selection and the information given. We were then driven to the start point of the hike. The hike was really good, at times it was really steep, mixed in with some not as steep sections. We walked in standard sneakers and they were fine. The start of the hike was relatively easy and had lovely waterfalls. It got pretty steep pretty quickly, but the guides are great and will go to your pace. We had one guide at the front who we kept up with, and the second guide at the back stayed with those who were a bit slower. Once we got to the top the views were lovely. The guides pointed out thisngs on the way, different insects and plants etc. It was quite a few degrees colder at the top. Lunch was delicious. There was 3 or 4 different items to chose (i had fried rice - was delicious). THen it was time for the downhill ride. And downhill it truly is! I wasn't as prepared for this bit. I bike ride (road bike), but this was way more intense than i was prepared for. I will say again, the guides were amazing. One rode ahead with the guys in our group who were happy to go flying down the hill. The second guide stayed at the back with myself and another who were taking it as slow as the bikes would allow us! As there had been so much rain in the past month, the tracks were quite muddy and uneven. The bikes did slide around a fair bit. I will say it was one of the more intense things i have done, but it as awesome. I never once felt pressured to ride faster or go beyond my ability. It started pouring with rain towards the bottom and that made it pretty full on. Anyway, i made it to the bottom, exhausted and thankful to be done in one piece. We were all totally drenched and covered in mud up our backs, but still laughing (eventually). We had out second lunch by the lake. It was too spicy for me but I was able to eat the rice. Had it been a sunny day, the views would've been incredible. One thing I was happy with was on the way they stopped at a 7 Eleven for you to get any snacks you might need. Am guessing its because its quite an intense hike - in heat that we're not used to. I bought a gatorade and some soft jelly lollies. Both of which i was grateful for. I drank the gatorade and my water (supplied by the company) and i the lollies helped my my energy levels. Once we had the first lunch I was fine and didnt need anything for the bike ride. I do highly recommend this acitivity, but definately have a basic level of fitness!
The lush jungle hike up was excellent with loads of flora and fauna. The guides were patient and informative. The coffee up top was as local as one could ever ask for. The bikes coud use revamping for us folks spoiled at home with nice mtn. bikes, but just enjoy the ride and try not to expect a 'hardcore' biking experience. The team was great!!
Had an awesome time doing this, it's a tough hike. Ive done trekking before but never in jungle conditions with humidity.. The first part is quite steep but it gets easier. The mountain biking is a lot of fun, I took the easier route and glad I did.. I'm sure I would of wiped out on the hard route haha. I'd highly recommend if your physically fit and want something adventurous to do in Thailand.
Awesome experience, best thing I did in Thailand I think. I’m very sorry not to remember the guides name but he was great, knowledgable, funny and professional. We had a small group which was great. Hike was 7km 700m elevation, bit slippy in parts so you need proper shoes not just trainers if it’s wet. If you’re not fit, you won’t enjoy it. Coffee plantation was incredible, awesome treehouse style place with their own coffee, I bought some to take away(need cash obviously). Had a good lunch too. The downhill mountain bike was so fun, and it started raining heavily which made it even more fun. Through lychee and avocado plantations. Lychees tasted delicious! Again, you can do it slowly and safely, but if you’ve never mountain biked or limited experience you’d find it hard and perhaps scary at points. Proper pads and helmets are provided though, and it’s not dangerous. Bikes were great too. All in all Highly recommend
Hike was tough with 40 degree temp. However downhill biking was a blast. It’s not a beginner friendly activity. I had a wipe out, and scraped my knee and arm pretty nicely. Donia our group lead gave prompt First aid! He’s the best! Will do it again in winter!
Great opportunity to try proper downhill MTB. Definitely not for the faint of heart as its a steep and bumpy ride. Fun day out all round. Would be better if there were larger option bikes available; they all seemed to be M size so it was difficult to pedal uphill on the few occasions that was needed.
If you’re looking to get out of the city, hike, bike, and see some beautiful waterfalls and temples you found your tour. Come prepared to exercise!
The beautiful view of the park. The bike downhill was a great challenge. Great 👍time. The guide did a great job .We enjoyed a delicious lunch.
It was one of the best fun things I have done in the 3 months I have been traveling. The hike was awesome, but there were times when it got hard and had to use hands to climb, but it felt great at the finish line. The guides ( B, aka Basketball, and Tony) were awesome. We were there to help or stop whenever we needed rest or help. Lunch was dope, and the best part was the biking back down. Everyone was so helpful and encouraging that this made my whole trip in Chiang Mai worth a while.
The guides were very attentive and safety minded for our hike and bike. Water and rest breaks provided and everyone did well. This is an intermediate hike and bumpy my bike ride. Being fit is key. The views of jungle and mountains are wonderful, and our guide had good English and many stories to share.
Our guides were fantastic! We were in a really fit group, so we really worked out and got all sweaty on the hike/climb 😉 up. Food was really nice, a tasty soup with a lovely view. The downhill mountain bike was more demanding than I thought and I really pushed my limits. Felt good! I‘d recommend this to all adventurous people who are reasonably fit Great fun! Great work out! Perfect day!
Definitely a big hike. 2200 feet elevation, around 4 miles and some steep loose dirt sections where you likely will use hands to climb up. Nice village at the top. The mountain biking is mainly downhill on a jeep track and safe. The single track at the bottom has some fun sections but not something to take on unless you’ve done steep rutted trails. 4 of 7 in my group walked or fell who tried it. You can stick to the road and have plenty of fun without doing these sections. There was a lady in our group that had knee issues and it was tough for her at times as it was a couple in their late 60s. Very nice guides that spoke good English and information on the park and area.
Exactly what I was looking for. This was a steep hike through the jungle with a nice meal at the top and a fun bike ride back down. I’m an experienced hiker and mountain biker and while I never felt out of my league it was intense enough to get me sweating and my heart rate up. If you’re not up for that I suggest not going. It’s a legit workout. The guides were super cool and friendly .
We enjoyed our day of hiking & biking! Our pick-up was early…and got us to the HQ to get outfitted with bikes & helmets. Then jumped in for a ride toward the mountain. We were the only couple…and got to talk a lot with our guide Bas. The 7km hike was challenging at times with a few scrambles that required both hands & feet. The waterfall stop was great! The trees created cover…and shade …so we stayed relatively cool. After the hike, we enjoyed a nice Thai lunch with a nice view looking down the mountain. Then we geared up for the bike ride down. As a decent road biker, mountain biking was a newer challenge, so when our guide handed out leg and arm guards, we were a bit surprised. The ride down the mountain was fun & exhilarating. While mostly downhill, we were riding with brakes on most of the time. There were some inclines that required us to gear down and work. With only 2 of us, our guide - Bas - was able to cater to our pace….and he did a great job of that. We stopped to pick and taste coffee beans on the way. Once down the mountain, we enjoyed more Thai food in a private hut along the lake. We felt we “earned”!our double lunch! While we were invited to swim in the lake, we opted to get back to our hotel. We were gone from 9:30 - 4:30pm and enjoyed a physical day with lots of scenery!
Overall, this was an amazing experience! Looking back, we got to see a lot of the jungle while also getting a lot of exercise. HOWEVER please be warned that this is not for the faint of heart. The hike is very steep and grueling and the mountain biking is intense. If you are not in great physical shape and have never mountain biked before, I do not recommend this. If you feel like you can manage, it will definitely be a memorable experience!
This excursion was wonderful. We love to hike, and the hiking was 2.5 hours and relatively strenuous. The mountain biking was exciting, mainly downhill, with a nice finish at a lake. We visited a community for an excellent lunch and cultural experience. Besides the beauty and rigorous exercise that we enjoyed, what made this trip memorable were the people. Our guides were friendly, caring, and adventurous. Our fellow travelers were from various countries, interesting, friendly and fellow thrill seekers. I highly recommend this tour. We were a family of four traveling with 2 teenage boys.
Absolutely exhilarating! DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE HIKE! We had marathon runners in our group that were struggling at times, especially after the waterfall. Also, please have some level of experience mountain biking. While categorized as beginner by the company, the trail is definitely in between beginner and intermediate and we saw several folks wipe out on the downhill portions of the trail. KNOW WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO! Also, to the tour company, please work with different restaurants. My fiancé and I contracted severe food poisoning from one of the meals consumed that day. But we’ve since recovered :)
A bit advanced hike up, cheerful guides and then down-hill via unpaved road, nothing scary for anyone who rode a mountainbike before, if are a bit slower, guide stay with you and support you, so dont be scared.
Our guides T and Tony were amazing. They made sure to go as slow as the group needed to and provided instructions to help us navigate the trail. The hike and the mountain biking were exhilarating with lunch at the top and bottom of the mountain. I would rate this tour as pretty intense if you haven’t mountain biked before but our guides did a great job helping us learn
The best activity we did in Chiang Mai. Tui and Tony were good guides, very friendly. We were also with 6 with 2 guides, Perfect. Not too easy, not too hard. The views were gorgeous.
The guide Tuiy was great. He was a very cheery , helpful & patient. He made sure we were safe & had everything we needed. Great experience! The bikes were well maintained, the scenery was spectacular!
Guide and office were knowledgeable, patient, friendly, skillful, helpful and capable. We recommend this activity to those looking for a real outdoor view of Thailand mountains and people.
AMAZING time!!! Exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY recommend, from the hike up, secret waterfalls, village food, and mountain biking down the mountain, this tour encompasses it all. Our tour guide, Jane was awesome! Kind, funny, intelligent, and has worked for this company for 11 years, so he knows what he’s doing. If you love nature and want to feel like you’ve done it all, this is for you.
This was very fun and challenging. The trip was very well organized and seamless. The equipment was premium. The guide Tui was very helpful and mindful of my safety at all times. This is not a trip for the faint hearted. Make sure you have a reasonable fitness level. The hike to the top of the mountain was breathtaking. The mountain bike ride to the bottom was the perfect adrenaline rush . If you are lucky to get Tui as your guide, you will have the perfect day. Big treat at the of the trip.
We were picked up promptly from hotel. The team were friendly throughout. We weren't sprung with sudden extra costs, which we appreciated. The bikes were almost new and in good condition. Helmets, leg and arm protection and gloves were getting a bit tatty, but adequate to purpose. The route taken was interesting, but downhill was a bit more challenging than expected, because the jungle road was very rain damaged with potholes, deep ruts, rocks and in places slippery. Everyone's brakes took a beating. There was a sense of accomplishment when we made the final destination. The lunch venue was lovely and the food was better than average for one of these type of trips. I would have liked to have spent less time at the end stop. The adventure was over and we were all eager to shower, not sit around for an hour. Al in all, a good day and value for money.
The tour guides were amazing! The activities can be a little challenging for some but the guides are extremely patient and will go at a pace suitable to your fitness level. Overall had an amazing time and would definitley do it again.
Not a trip for the faint hearted, but excellent fun and a challenge for an average mountain biker. Hike was undulating so good shoes essential, and enjoyed seeing local farming including pineapple, coffee beans, avocado and lychee growing. Stop for lunch enjoying pork or egg noodle soup in a mountainside cafe, and then downhill mountain biking over some rutted and rocky terrain. However we had 3 guides for 6 people, and ongoing guidance and supervision so were kept safe with lots of humour and chat thrown in.
The crew was patient when we where slightly caught up in traffic. The hike up was amazing, bringing us to places that locals would know. They were also patient in the intensiveness of the hike and the bike ride down was nothing short of adrenaline. Lastly is the places they brought us for lunch and the end of the activity which were scenic.
Beautiful environment and a nice combination to go both hiking and mountainbiking. Medium to high level of fitness needed. It can be intense to ride downhill without any cycling experience. The downside of our tour was that our guide was not really fit and a bit slow. Also his bike broke down along the ride. It was a nice surprise to end the tour with a coconut in the sun. Thanks! Tip for organisation: ask the level of fitness in the group to make sure you offer the right guide.
Great activitie, hike required moderate physical endurance. The downhill biking is definitely not for beginners. I enjoyed most the downhill biking part. The smoothness of the day really comes up to what kind of group you have.
Exciting and challenging day. Highly recommend this trip. Ideal day out for those who have a good level of fitness and want to see the surrounding jungle and mountains. Great guides, felt v safe with both ( ‘A’ and ‘Denai’ ?) good equipment and overall first class service. Great to get out of our comfort zone.
Was a perfect day, very nice and polite staff! Good for beginners and advanced. If you more advanced , you can tell staff , so they will make small group and they will take you another way(more extreme ). Beautiful views on the way... Recommend
A really nice tour with amazing tourguides (especially Tony). I should have brought shoes with more grip, because the hike could be challenging (beginner). The mountainbike (also beginner) was challenging as well, but if you’re atlethically inclined you’ll manage just fine!
Well organized trip with heaps of variety. Walk a good 3 hours with some very steep sections. Fabulous village lunch experience thrown in too and a rest. Then a 12km or so downhill mountain bike ride on track. Guides 'A' and 'Bars' were wonderful. Quick beer on lakeside at end. More a full day experience than a half. Enjoyed it. We had 10 people 13 to 53. Tested the lesser riders but option to bail out and take the truck down. Great day
WARNING: this mountain biking tour is not designed for beginners. I would recommend to not attempt this if you have never mountain biked before. The trail is intermediate level for mountain bikers in general. The staff were professional and very helpful. They provided a lot of support for terrified beginners. The hike was however really rewarding with beautiful scenery.
So if you not used to hiking or excercise, this won't definitely be for you. The first hike is around 6km but it's very steep and slippery. But yeah doable with some fitness. The bicycle ride is cool, wish it was longer and on a actual course rather than a very bumpy road, but there are some part you can go out of the road and more in the forest. Also same, if you have a little bit of experience you will enjoy it more, but first time can definitely just go down, they might find it a bit boring maybe idk. We were only 4 for hike and ride but was overall a very cool trip
Very fun experience. You have to be fit and comfortable with heights to complete this tour. Twee was a great tour guide and routinely provided all participants with lots of info about the landscape's various aspects. The only criticism I have is that the tour did not naturally accommodate for that many stops to take in the gorgeous scenery. Recommended tour.
This was an awesome experience, beautiful views, but a very real workout, especially the hike. I would recommend.
Super tiring, challenging but good guides and had a good group together. However I must state this should not be your first time going on a a hiking trail!
A great day but I strongly recommend that you have some mountain bike experience as well as a good level of fitness. The guides are amazing and provide support and encouragement at all times.
Excellent hike and bike tour, really fun! Was cloudy on the mountain which made for some great photos and the jungle walk was great. Be warned this tour is for people with good fitness levels! The mountain bike down was very bumpy and quite tiring but totally worth it. We absolutely loved it! Aching the next day!
