It was a truly amazing experience worth every penny. The pick up was right on time arrived to coffee and snacks. The pilot a true pro 14 years of flying the take off and landing so smooth not even a bump. The scenery was fantastic have your camera ready!! It can get a little hot in the basket but not uncomfortable. Champagne toast and chatting with the pilots at the end was great and the picture with the certificate that I did it was a nice touch. Thank you for making this so memorable.

1st Class experience, we had been looking forward to a balloon ride for years and decided that we would book it while on holiday in Chiang Mai. It was absolutely amazing from take off to landing. We couldn't fault any part of this experience. It was peaceful and the landing was very very gentle. Thank you for turning a dream into a wonderful experience

The balloon ride was an amazing experience! Our guide was humorous and professional, and the morning views of the sunrise were incomparable. The tour started with a coffee while completing minimal paperwork, and the time in the sky was breathtaking. After the tour was concluded, the groups were offered a champagne/mimosa toast and snacks, and we were able to chat with the other groups as well as learn more from our guide about his history as a balloon pilot. Highly recommended!

Everything was PERFECT and it is worth every penny. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Yes it's not cheap and an early start but its once in a lifetime. Everything was very well organized the view was absolutely spectacular. I would definitely do it again next time I visit Chiang Mai.

Overall, was a great balloon ride. One of the better things you can do in Chiang Mai. This group was organized and safe. Balloon rides are not exactly cheap, but this was worth it.

Really unique experience well worth the early morning trip. We actually got in the ballon around 650 and lifted off before sunrise. We watched the Sunrise from around 1000 feet. We caught the upper air currents and were up for a close to 1 hour. Very unique view of the landscape. We would do this again, as one of the group this was his second time. Very experienced pilot!

Very professional and delightful hot air balloon trip over Chiang Mai at dawn. The driver was prompt when he picked us up at our hotel. Staff at the office were friendly and helpful. The Pilot was excellent and included a brief history of hot air ballooning over our celebratory champagne. Highly recommend!

Picked up at the hotel at 6am. Short ride to the balloon site. Watched the balloon inflate, got in and took off. It was amazing. There were two couples plus our pilot in our basket. There were two balloons and 4 couples on the day we did our adventure. There was not much wind so we didn't go very far. We went high, tho. And it was so quiet! We were in the sky for about 45 minutes. The landing was super smooth in a rice field. After landing the ground crew helped move the balloon closer to the car (we were 5 ft off the ground or so). Back at the starting point we had a champagne toast before returning to our hotel. A great experience - definitely recommend it to anyone!

Viator delivered again a very enjoyable outing. Although a very early pick up time( 05:20), the driver was exactly on time and we drove to pick up another couple before proceeding to the balloon departure site. The weather was fortunately largely cooperative. Cannot always get absolutely clear skies but at least no bad winds. Our pilot, Ropes K., having many years of experience, provided a pleasant journey and fortunately did open the trap door on us-lol! The trip was actually taken December 1, 2023 but that option was loaded yet that is why it otherwise shows as November.

We had a very enjoyable and professional experience. The balloon company picked us up at our hotel in Chiang Mai and drove us to the flight office where we had coffee and snacks. We were able to watch as they finished setting up the ballon and then climbed aboard. We had about a 45 minute flight, and had incredible views of the city, mountains and countryside. The pilot was happy to answer questions and had been flying for over 10 years. The landing was smooth, and they brought us back to the flight office for champagne and snacks. They were even accommodating enough to drive us straight to the airport afterwards so we could catch our plane.

This was a wonderful way to begin the day! What was a cloudy hazy day on the ground turned into an amazing experience above the clouds. The sunrise was amazing and the ride was smooth and peaceful. The company was professional in every way.

An amazing experience and a must do for anyone travelling to Chiang Mai. Well organised (everything ran smoothly), lovely people and the captain was very informative and funny. The views were amazing and it very smooth landing. A chat about the first balloon ride and a glass of champagne when we returned back. We were back at the hotel for 8.30am which left the rest of the day for exploring Chiang Mai 😊

This is such a cool thing to do, you’ll never forget it. I’m a bit nervous about heights but it was such a smooth ride. All the staff are so friendly and they seem genuinely excited about working with hot air balloons.

We booked this while in lock down in Chiang Mai thinking this will not go ahead. A lovely lady Ms May emailed us saying this will go ahead and also thanking us for our booking. We arrived by van by our guide to a beautiful rice field. The team are very professional and with many safety procedures to make sure the weather is fine to operate the hot balloon. They kept us updated throughout the morning. The balloon was ready to ride and were very excited to go up and seethe beautiful skyline. The weather was blue skies and clear and you are floating with the wind. Its a truly an amazing experience.

The staff on the ground were attentive and enthusiastic. The balloon flight was stable, and the landing was smooth. The views were so amazing and breathtaking and we managed to catch the sunrise. After the flight we had a glass of champagne which was another great touch. This is may seem a bit pricey but well worth every dollar spent and big thanks for I Asia for changing the dates around 3 times for free! Highly recommended!

Awesome Experience! Beautiful sunrise with the faraway mountains. You HAVE to give it a try while you are in Chiangmai. Ours was a lady pilot, Amy who handled the ballooning very well and explained to us the scenic scenery around us and kept us informed of how high we were in the air. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much, not to mention the fun ceremony after the hot air balloon ride! Well worth every dollar.

We made booking online with Tripadvisor and paid after confirmation. Email communication was quick and efficient by I Asia Thailand. Minibus arrived early and picked up another passenger and set off for balloon departure point. Coffee or tea was available while we were waiting. I had no idea that watching the balloons being inflated was amazing. The views are stunning as the world drifts silently below. The only noise (and heat) comes from the burners above. This was so peaceful and you truly appreciate the Chiang Mai countryside. Once we landed, you are returned to the depart point by minibus and a champagne reception. After breakfast you return back home on the minibus you arrived on. This is not the cheapest tour but this is a one in a lifetime and the highlight of our trip
