Very professional staff and memorable tour!

As first-timers traveling with children, we were initially a bit doubtful, but the team at 8Adventures completely put our minds at ease. Almost immediately after we booked, their admin reached out via text to proactively check in on details like dietary restrictions. Their admin team is simply fantastic - replying instantly, offering immense reassurance, and doing their absolute best to fulfill every request. Safety and convenience are clearly massive priorities here. They provide seamless transportation, and their vehicles are incredibly well-maintained and safe; you can tell they service and clean their cars after every single use. Before we even started the activities, we were given thorough safety training and provided with clean safety gear. A massive shoutout to our driver and ATV instructor, Tang. He truly went above and beyond for our family's safety and comfort. From the moment he picked us up, he was incredibly detailed , making sure we had everything we needed, reminding us of all the essentials, and ensuring we were as comfortable as possible for the journey. During the activities, he carefully supported us and our children while walking up and down the hills at the waterfall, used our phones to take wonderful family photos, and personally helped us check in for our elephant ride. If you can, highly recommend requesting Tang! The food provided was also amazing. They served authentic, local-tasting dishes that weren't too spicy, making them perfectly suitable for children. They even happily provided delicious vegetarian options upon request. While they may not be the cheapest option available, the premium service, included transportation, food, and total peace of mind make it worth every penny. If you are a first-timer or a family with children looking for a fun, safe, and completely hassle-free experience, you absolutely must come here!

Mae Taeng is one of my favourite places around Chiang Mai. It's up in a mountain valley and has nice views and a local community who all know each other. 8Adventure's have some new ATVs since the last time I was out and the rear wheel drive makes the muddy trails really fun. Their guides are always kind and enthusiastic, thanks to Moss and Bite.

Fantastic day out collected From our hotel taken to the event fed with a buffet, we did a quad bike ride up the side of a mountain through a small local village and back down again.

Guides were very helpful. When we stopped for a break the guide asked me because of my experience with atv if I would like to go with him for a more intense play. Fantastic gun. Would definitely recommend them

From the moment we were picked up until we were dropped off at the end of the day, everything was incredibly well organized. The entire operation runs smoothly, the staff is exceptionally courteous, and their attention to detail is evident in every part of the experience. They have an efficient process that gets everyone prepared and out on their adventure while never compromising on safety. Our trekking guide, Tin, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the area and made the hike feel like an adventure rather than a typical guided tour. Along the way, he shared interesting information about the local wildlife, plants, and surroundings while keeping the conversation relaxed and engaging. The trek itself was beautiful and more adventurous than a simple nature walk. We hiked through the forest, crossed streams, traversed wooden bridges and pathways, and eventually reached a stunning waterfall. It was a great length and offered just the right amount of challenge—enough to feel like a rewarding workout without ever feeling unsafe. The entire experience was well managed, relaxing, and enjoyable. After the hike, we had plenty of time to rest, eat, and get ready for the ATV portion of the day. Our ATV guides, Bai and Gam, were outstanding. Safety was clearly their top priority. They made sure everyone was comfortable operating the ATVs, accommodated riders who needed a little extra assistance, and did so in a way that made everyone feel welcome and confident. The ATV tour was the longest and most enjoyable ATV experience I’ve ever had. The ride lasted over three hours and included a great mix of scenic views, challenging trails, and exciting terrain. The guides regularly checked on everyone, even swapping out equipment when needed to ensure the ATVs were performing properly. Toward the end of the ride, they also made accommodations for my daughter so she could continue enjoying the experience comfortably. Their focus was always on making sure every guest had a safe and memorable adventure. Overall, this was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. The guides were professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great time. I highly recommend 8Adventures to anyone visiting Chiang Mai who is looking for an exciting, well-run outdoor adventure. I would absolutely book with them again on a future visit.

We had a fantastic experience with the 3-hour ATV tour for our group of four. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. We booked about two weeks in advance, and the team was very responsive in answering our questions and providing clarification. They also followed up with us again after we arrived in Chiang Mai to reconfirm all the tour details, which gave us confidence that everything was well organised. Hotel pickup was punctual, and we appreciated the follow-up phone call and message from the driver. The transfer van was clean, comfortable, and driven safely. Upon arrival at the base, the facilities were clean, spacious, and welcoming. Complimentary drinks were a nice touch while we got ready. The pre-ride briefing was clear and professional, and the safety equipment was fitted efficiently, making everyone feel well prepared before setting off. The ATV course itself was both challenging and incredibly fun. The rainy weather actually enhanced the experience, making the trails more exciting and adventurous. One of the highlights was the stop at the mountain viewpoint. The cool weather, low clouds, and scenery made it a truly memorable moment for our group. It’s extremely fun and also really safe. My friend and I were both first-timers, and the instructor was very quick to respond—whenever we had any questions, they came over to help us immediately. They were truly very reliable. The break time in between was also sufficient, so we didn’t feel tired at all. The activity route was really well-rounded too—there were sections with river scenery as well as mountain routes, giving us a complete and satisfying experience. Since we enjoyed it so much and felt comfortable throughout, I would recommend it to my friends and I’d definitely come back again!

Really great ATV experience with plenty of varied off-road trails - the road sections are grand, there is a large climb section at the end which has some views but ultimately it's just to come down again - downhill is not a lot of fun. You'll travel through the elephant sanctuary, which is an amazing add-on experience and you'll probably see the elephants quite close in the river. It feels like you might be disturbing them a little but that might be completely wrong. The communication, pick-up, staff are 100% Kit provided and training is fine. The lunch after was very good and substantial. I would say this is a good level of difficulty with some challenges but nothing crazy. Overall strongly recommend. 3hrs is surprisingly not too much even in 36 degree heat but definitely no more. Doubt you need trausers or long sleeves if you don't mind the odd scratch - I got nothing. Really would recommend

Me and my girlfriend went on a 3 hours atv . At first we both didn’t know how to use it and were a bit scared. The crew seemed very professional and gave us great protection gear. In 20 minutes of light ride we learned pretty quickly and then went on the road. For a 7 tourist group there were 5 guides. The trip was amazing, it was extreme and the views were amazing. Probably the best attraction I’ve done in a long long time. Highly recommend!

A very well organised tour. We had a wonderful time and all staff were very friendly and very professional. You get to see the Elephants aswell which is a bonus and also they stop you to see a hidden Waterfall. A great ending to the tour. We also had lunch prepared when we got back which was very good. Recommend this tour 100% to those who are adreline junkies.

The 8 Adventure venue truly exceeded my expectations on every level. We booked the A3 package for the ATV experience, and the process was very easy. I made the reservation through WhatsApp, and their staff picked us up directly from our hotel. Before the ATV ride, we were given a comprehensive orientation on how to operate the ATV. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and after a brief practice session inside the venue, we were ready to ride. They also provided helmets, vests, and knee pads, showing that safety is definitely a top priority for them. The ATV course lasted about 3–4 hours. The route took us through main roads, village paths, farms, river crossings, and hillside trails with beautiful scenery throughout. There was never a dull moment during the ride. After returning, we were served a satisfying meal consisting of chicken cutlet, rice, salad, and Thai soup. Once we finished eating, the staff dropped us back off at our hotel. Overall, the experience was spectacular—very adventurous and fun. I would definitely do it again if I return to Chiang Mai.

I did the ATV tour with 8Adventures on February 19th, and it was an absolute blast! My wife and I had an incredible time riding the orange quads through lush bamboo forests and jungle trails – the scenery was stunning, with tall bamboo everywhere and that real off-road feel. The guides were top-notch: professional, safety-focused, and super patient. My wife was a bit nervous at first with the ATV (it's her first time), but they took their time explaining everything, gave great instructions, and made sure she felt comfortable the whole way. Huge thanks for that – it made the experience enjoyable for both of us. We ended up at a beautiful waterfall where we could cool off and swim in the natural pools – refreshing after the ride! Everything was well-organized, the equipment (helmets, gear) felt solid, and the whole day felt adventurous but safe. If you're in Chiang Mai and want a fun, thrilling outdoor activity, go with 8Adventures – we loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat. 5 stars all the way!

This activity was absolutely worth the time and money! We didn’t have enough time to do all full day excursion, we were only able to do the ATV and was able to experience the ATV and elephant sighting along the river. Such a unique experience since we had the tour guide to ourselves and were able to take our time with the ATV and hang around the river watching the elephants. The guys were nice enough to show us a hidden water fall with a slide. Such a fun and whole experience. We left the camp early and were able to get back to Chiang Mai by 4pm. If we did the full day event we wouldn’t have gotten back even later. Unforgettable experience.

Our family of four had an absolutely amazing time on this ATV adventure — truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to Thailand! There were guides in front and in back, so anyone who wanted to go at a slower pace felt completely supported and never rushed. The ride itself was incredible. We traveled through all kinds of terrain — along a beautiful river, through peaceful countryside, and even had the exciting experience of seeing elephants along the way! The scenery was stunning and the variety made the ride so much fun and adventurous. After the ride, they treated us to lunch and provided transportation back to our hotel, which was a wonderful touch after such an active morning. Every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a awesome experience. We had a GREAT adventure and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for fun, adventure, and excellent service. Don’t miss this experience!

A very enjoyable ATV tour and definitely recommended! The guides were extremely friendly, spoke good English, and gave clear instructions. We first drove to a test area to make sure everyone could handle the ATV. Then we passed through traditional villages and stopped by a river, where we could see elephants on the opposite side. After that, we went up the mountain and enjoyed a beautiful panoramic view. The tour ended with a delicious lunch — coconut vegetable soup, fried chicken with rice, and watermelon for dessert.

Terrific experience overall - well organised, structured and great facilities. Pre-event communication was thorough, advising what to bring, pick up time etc. The location was great, clean and beautifully situated next to the river. My daughter and I participated - we had no prior experience and found it to be quite challenging, so ended up being passengers instead - which sort of worked in our favour to enjoy the scenery. I would rate the track - Extremely hard, so not for the faint hearted. But for those with some experience, the tour would be ideal - it’s an exhilarating ride - through the Chiang Mai jungle, villages, along the river, elephant sanctuary and up/down a mountain. Specular views!! After the ride, we had a delicious three course lunch. I highly recommend the tour - great experience supported by great service. But, a word of caution - it’s not an easy trail, definitely not for beginners or young children.

Awesome experience through the jungle outside Chiang Mai. Had to pass a training course first. Our two 15 year olds rode the ATVs and our 13 year old rode with my partner. Some very rugged paths that were challenging, but fun. Lots of breaks to experience the view. Saw wild elephants while we were riding. Highly recommend doing this - heaps of fun!

INCREDIBLE experience!!! Absolute must do! This was the highlight of our trip!! Staff were amazing and did a great job explaining how to use the bikes. Provide excellent helmets and body armour- we felt like super heroes!! Other tours don’t have the full visor which really protects against all the dust that gets kicked up. Saw tons of elephants playing in the river. The crispy chicken lunch was also a big hit!! Can’t say enough about this excursion. We loved it!!!! We had a great day, ATVs were so much fun, all the guides were friendly and so helpful. You have a practice ride first which helped a lot and then you are taken through the jungle, rivers, we even saw the elephants on the way. Lunch was great too. My son who was 15 was able to ride himself and had a great time.. he said it was the best day of the holiday.

Went by myself and had a blast. First time on an ATV but they taught us how to drive and we got the hang of it quickly. I'd say that it's not for the timid or those who don't like a bumpy ride. We definitely went a ways through the woods and up roads to an overlook. Still have a couple blisters on my hand from holding on so tight but highly recommend! Lunch was also really good.

Easily the best tour I’ve been on in terms of how well run it is and also the day itself. Beautiful views, saw some elephants (guaranteed as you drive through elephant sanctuary) perfect level of excitement on ATV not too hard not too easy and great length of day, long enough to feel money well spent but not too long that it becomes tiresome. Also a delicious lunch where usually on these day tours lunch is average at best. Great facilities at camp also, can’t recommend enough, faultless! My fiancé says best day ever and that it was great you could go at whatever pace you felt comfortable at no problem!

Well organized. ATVs / Quads were in good condition. Food was delicious. It was the first time for me on a Quad and I really enjoyed it.
