Very pretty grounds decorated around a theme and lovely well-equipped cottages. If you are not staying here, entry is 80 baht, but you get it back if you order something at the cafe 🎟️ Plenty of space to walk, plus a small farm, we saw an ostrich there. The food in the restaurant is tasty. Next door is Phusanfah airfield, paramotors fly from it and skydivers jump 🪂 We left with a very good impression
Serene view, away from the busy city. Loved out stay but the air conditioner was not working on day 2 but there was nobody at the reception at night to assist or help us fix the issue. But the food and overall environment was nice.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a resort. At 3:30 AM, my friends had to leave for an early morning flight, but their door got locked and we couldn’t find any staff to help us. We waited for hours with no support from anyone. Eventually, we had no choice but to break the door. Now, despite it being their fault and the lack of assistance, they are asking for damage charges and have taken our 1500 deposit. This is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
The Phusanfah Resort is about 1 hours drive north from Chiang Mai city and is situated on a turnoff from route 3038.
It is surrounded by very picturesque rice fields and offers accommodation in the region of two and a half to three and a half thousand baht per night.
We were not staying there but simply having a meal and drinks, and enjoying the scenery. The staff were plentiful and friendly. Food and drinks were expensive for what they were, but about the right level for a place such as this.
There is an 80 baht entrance fee which comes off what you might spend here, which I think is reasonable to keep the riffraff out.
It's a photographers delight here with many fine statues, water features and flowers. In the distance as well as some more statues you can see a runway. Rather surprising - but it's a feature of the resort to offer sky jumping here.
The whole area is extremely clean and tidy and it's well worth a visit if you're in the area - or maybe a stay.
Don’t be fooled by the 2star label on google maps, it’s easily 4 star standard. I wasn’t able to stay here unfortunately as it was fully booked. However, I found the staff very friendly and helpful especially the assistant general manager who went out of his way to help me find another place for the night close by. I returned to the excellent, very affordable restaurant for my evening meal and had a lovely evening there. Note that it normally closes at 6pm unless there is a coach load of tourists booked in.
