We had such a fantastic time at Hotel De Wualai all the staff - from reception to house keeping were absolutely awesome! So helpful and accommodating! Very clean rooms and very helpful when we had to make an early check out for the airport (4:30 am!) Thank you for such an amazing time!
Great location, very clean rooms, excellent and helpful staff in every area. Toi, Mai and the front desk staff as well as Wasana our room attendant, were very caring and made my husbands birthday very special with a cake and decorations. The daily breakfast was great and Alisa (I think I spelled that right) and other kitchen staff took great care of the kitchen and our needs. Was a wonderful place and a great value and all the staff made our stay fantastic.
I would put 3* but the staff are so lovely so I can’t do that. This is possibly the loudest room I’ve ever stayed in- 2 days of my stay there has been loud drilling and hammering; every day kids are screaming at the pool ( of course this is not the hotels fault- but the sound proofing is so bad in the rooms I hear it so much of the day) so I have slept so badly since being here. However, the staff couldn’t be nicer- it is in a really cute area and there is soft drinks available at all times. If they fixed sound proofing a bit better and didn’t have constant drilling would be 5*

This place is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and contain a good sized fridge, kettle with coffee etc, and a microwave. Which was excellent for reheating our takeaways. The staff as usual are extremely helpful and friendly. They also clean the room everyday or not if you don't want it. The location is great, generally quiet, although they're working on the hotel next door which was quite noisy, and there's a walking street market 40 yards away on Saturday nights to. You're also 15 minutes walk to the old town. Good luck and enjoy.
