My husband and I have been to Chiang Mai twice over the past two years, and both times we chose to stay at the Aleenta Retreat Resort. I absolutely love Aleenta. The resort is clean and beautiful, with a cozy atmosphere. The spa treatments were a particular highlight for me; I went every single day of our stay. The staff were so lovely and kind, and they gave us excellent recommendations for our spa programs.

A wonderful retreat in Chiang Mai. The resort is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, while the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. A perfect place to relax, recharge, and escape from the busy city. Highly recommended!
Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai is undoubtedly a beautiful boutique resort set amidst peaceful surroundings. The property is aesthetically designed, the main pool is stunning, and the balcony rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well worth considering. However, I was quite disappointed with the Pool Villa, especially considering its premium price. The private pool was noticeably dirty, the jacuzzi was not functional during our stay, and the room itself felt fairly average rather than luxurious. It certainly didn’t justify the additional cost. The food was enjoyable, and I appreciated that the chefs catered well to vegetarian preferences. That said, breakfast could be improved. Small details matter at a luxury property—for instance, the toast machine wasn’t working, which was surprising for a resort of this standard. Overall, Aleenta has a lovely ambience and attentive hospitality, but I would recommend booking a balcony room instead of splurging on the Pool Villa unless these issues are addressed.
I have stayed in several 5+ hotels around the world and by far this was the most memorable experience. Came here for a much needed solo and relaxing trip and that’s exactly what I got! The property is really cozy and makes you slow down. The breakfast was fantastic and also ate lunch and dinner a few times. I also got a lovely spa treatment by Na and meditation classes. The room was very spacious and everything worked perfectly. It feels like Bali without the influencers or pretentious crowd. I would definitely recommend staying at least 4 nights to get the best of the experience.
Stayed for 3 nights- adult family traveling for vacation - and Aleenta resort was perfect. It was a serene oasis with fast and easy Grab transport to the bustling city. The staff were amazing- so friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The bartender -pom - and the wait staff - Nai and Nong, deserve special recognition. Everyone remembered us between days and our preferences. EVERY member of staff showed true hospitality. One night we did the special dinner with cocktail pairing - which was spectacular. Each dish and cocktail were meticulously crafted and presented. Definitely a "must do." The rooms and beds were luxurious, and we had the best sleep. Finally - I want to recognize Nan - the fitness / actitivities specialist. She was so sweet and patient and made each experience memorable. 100% would stay here again. It would be my only choice for Chiang Mai.
