Hotel Indigo Chester By Ihg

Absolutely amazing stay in Chester for my girlfriend’s birthday. From the minute we arrived the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was huge with really nice high quality amenities. There was even a card with a complimentary drink to use in the bar to say happy birthday to her which was a nice surprise. It put a huge smile on her face so this was really appreciated. The bar area was lovely as well so it was nice to have a drink there. We had breakfast the following morning which was fantastic. There was a menu with a few choices to pick from then fruit and pastries to help yourself to. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but I can imagine this would have been great too. If I could add one area of improvement it would be that the mini fridge only had one can of still and one can of sparkling water. It would have been nice to at least have two cans of each as there were two of us but this didn’t impact the stay at all and isn’t a complaint. Thanks to all the staff at the Hotel Indigo Chester for making our stay one to remember. We will definitely be visiting again.

A Wonderful Experience at Hotel Indigo Chester by IHG We are well-travelled guests and would like to share our very positive experience at Hotel Indigo Chester by IHG. From arrival, we were impressed by the hotel’s modern, stylish and well-maintained surroundings, high standards, cleanliness, comfort, quality and excellent service. Its central location, within walking distance of Chester city centre, makes it an ideal choice for a short city break. We would especially like to thank the teams who made our stay so enjoyable: Reception: Sophie, Ryan, Kurt, Muneebah and Peter — thank you for your warm welcome and professionalism. Breakfast & Chefs: Toby, Sean, Harry, Courtney, Darcy, Loui, Molly and Heir — thank you for your friendly and attentive service. Housekeeping: Pauline, Head of Department, Duwash and the wider team — thank you for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation. As members of David Lloyd Clubs, we particularly enjoyed visiting David Lloyd Cheshire Oaks and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, making the hotel an excellent base for our stay. We will certainly return to Hotel Indigo Chester by IHG and Chester in the future. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful and memorable experience.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to the centre and from the train station. A park and the river close by which makes it convenient to pop in and out. Stayed in a Deluxe King Room for a little more space, they kindly provided the firm pillows I had asked for. The beds are very comfortable, the aircon efficient and the room was very clean and generally quiet. Shower was amazing! Loved the decor with little reminders of the location such as horses and clocks. Unfortunately staff moved me to a different room after the first night, the next room had an interconnecting door and was next to a main road which was a lot less quiet, something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper. I was able to move again to a quieter room. Staff were helpful and friendly and were always able to provide recommendations and advice on visiting local attractions. Food in the restaurant was good, large portions for me! Great with communication prior to visit too. Have visited a few times so would definitely recommend!

This is a small but charming hotel. While it's not particularly close to the train station, it's still within comfortable walking distance. The interiors are beautifully designed, with subtle touches of traditional English character throughout. Even the toiletries were of good quality, although I can't remember the brand. The staff member who assisted with check-in was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was fairly standard, but the hotel also offers an à la carte option alongside the buffet.
