Castle Cottage Inn

We stayed for three nights in October and had a wonderful time - faultless! The food is fantastic and very fresh, we decided to eat dinner every night here. A very warm, welcoming and relaxing stay, thank you so much.

Spent our 21st wedding anniversary with Pattra and Darren. Pattra has an amazing eye for detail and style. Without a doubt this has been probably the best hotel We have stayed in for years (and we have been to a few in uk and long haul). Amazing Thai meal …. Even the anniversary banner and two little bottles of prosecco. Such a lovely stay in a clean, comfortable room with a large super king bed. Every home comfort you could wish for. Hosts are indeed lovely people. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Pattra and Darren for anniversary celebration never to be forgotten x

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. From the communication before our arrival to the quality of the food, to the attention to every detail of service, the experience was exceptional. My wife and I have stayed at luxury properties in large cities and not experienced this level of care. If you will be in the area, this would be a top choice, even if a bit out of the way. And with the views of the castle and the ocean, how can you go wrong? Pattra is amazing!

If I could give Castle Cottage Inn 10 stars, I honestly would. Everything about our stay was exceptional. The staff were some of the friendliest, warmest, and most genuinely welcoming people we've met in a long time. Nothing felt forced, and from the moment we arrived we felt really looked after. We stayed in a suite, and the room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and spotless. The room and bathroom were huge, and everything had been thought down to the smallest detail. It genuinely felt more like staying in a 5-star hotel. There was everything you could possibly need, and the whole room felt very well cared for rather than just simply “clean”. This was a birthday trip for my partner, and they even left a small birthday gift for him, which was such a lovely, thoughtful touch and made the stay feel even more special. Breakfast was another 10/10. Freshly cooked, really tasty, good quality and the coffee was lovely too. Cleanliness 10/10, service 10/10, room 10/10, breakfast 10/10. We only stayed for one night, but I genuinely cannot think of anything negative to say. If we are ever back in this part of Wales, this is exactly where I would want to stay again. A little gem of a hotel.
