Fabulous! Stayed overnight for dinner, bed and breakfast. All staff encountered - reception area, bar, restaurant and leisure centre - really helpful and welcoming and felt like they treated you with respect. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. The room (a twin double) was lovely, spacious and tastefully decorated, with nice finishing touches. Used the pool in the leisure centre, which again was really nice and at the time used (just after 5pm) was not too busy. Towels and locker provided 'free of charge' to residents. Had dinner and breakfast at Redmond's Brasserie. Quite busy for both, but the service was good. The food was really nice and of a high standard, with plenty of choice. I had the Stone Bass and it was moist and delicious. The restaurant overlooks the golf course and grounds and the views are fantastic. Felt like a very relaxed and indulgent stay. Can't wait to go again.

Absolutely stunning hotel with amazing food and the best service ever! Set in beautiful grounds with an amazing spa nearby. The spa garden was beautiful and the hotel also has leisure and gym facilities which my husband used and loved them including a pool. The staff are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing quality, we had breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant. My husband who is very particular had the steak and said it was better than the one in his favourite restaurant where we live. I had the fish pie which was delicious! The brocoli was the best I've ever had , never thought I'd say that about a vegetable. I loved the artwork and sculptures around the hotel. We loved it so much here and are already planning a return visit!!! Thanks Claire young
Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Carden Park. It was a gift for our wedding anniversary, and the hotel itself exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spotless, tastefully modernised and have exceptionally comfortable beds. The spa was excellent, the treatments were first class, and we'd happily return just for the spa. We genuinely couldn't fault the hotel or the accommodation. Unfortunately, The Vines Restaurant was a completely different experience. We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing and, with additional drinks, spent over £450 for two people. At that price, you naturally expect an experience comparable to other premium restaurants. Sadly, the food was average, the wine pairing was forgettable, and the service wasn't seamless—we even had to remind staff to bring one of the wines after we'd already finished the course it was meant to accompany. The meal also dragged on for around three hours, to the point where we asked for the final sweet treats to be boxed up and declined the tea and coffee because we simply wanted to leave. When I mentioned that we'd previously enjoyed a Michelin-starred restaurant, I wasn't suggesting The Vines should have a Michelin star. My point was that if you're charging Michelin-level prices, customers will naturally expect Michelin-level quality—and unfortunately, it just wasn't there. We'd happily return to Carden Park. Just don't get caught up spending a fortune on the tasting menu and wine pairing. In our opinion, it doesn't live up to the price tag and definitely isn't worth the money.
Couldn't fault this resort. Visited for a work conference and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Seamless check-in, top notch catering, spotlessly clean and tastefully appointed. Spacious room. Enormous, comfy bed. Perfect shower pressure. Lovely ground floor balcony in the sunshine. The sculpture garden was a really nice touch and definitely worth a visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Slight downside could be the spotty signal as I wasn't able to make mobile phone or WhatsApp calls from my room, but I could stream without issue. A really lovely getaway. I look forward to returning.
We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Carden Park from start to finish. The front desk team set the tone right away with a wonderfully warm, helpful, and informative welcome at check-in. We were also lucky enough to get upgraded to one of the recently refurbished suites, which was nothing short of incredible! Breakfast was a seamless experience. They have clear signage highlighting peak times to avoid, which worked perfectly, and the spread itself was both vast and excellent quality. For dinner, Redmonds offers a lovely, relaxed environment with a huge brasserie-style menu to choose from. The Spa was another massive highlight—it wasn't overcrowded at all, making it the perfect, relaxing escape. Overall, it was a fantastic experience at a truly top-tier venue. We will definitely be back!
