Book this for my sister who lives in Finland..lovely clean spacious secure apartment with free gated parking

Had a couple of nights stay at the property for a social event in Derby. Check-in was very easy, as was communication with the host; the property benefits from private secure parking at the rear. Key collection is automated and went without a hitch. The property itself was well appointed with everything needed for a stay and benefits from a nearby shop plus a few pubs within a 5 minute walk. The walk in to town was approximately 15 minutes. Check-out was easy and, again, automated which was good. I would definitely stay again for the right price. The only reason I did not give 5 x stars was due to check out being at 11am (which was fine) but the cleaner entering the property at 10am whilst I was getting changed.

I have booked and stayed at several apartments in 3 different continents and countless countries. These folks are by far the worst I have ever encountered. I booked their apartment for 4 nights on booking.com. Due to an unfortunate incident, I had to cancel using booking.com's portal which indicated that before the stay company accepts the cancellation, they would first consider my request for refund. In one swift move, the stay company rejected my refund request but accepted my cancellation. Then, they proceeded to book another client into the same apartment, and got double payment for one apartment. Booking.com reached out to them multiple times and waived the commission to encourage them to give me the refund but the stay company blatantly refused. In addition, the lady called Sara whom I spoke to was so rude when I tried to explain my situation to her via phone. Another apartment I had booked for the second half of the trip refunded my money after they found a new client, but the Stay Company took my 231 pounds as free money because they knew there was nothing I could do. I wish I had been warned in advance to stay away from these folks, so hopefully, this protects someone else from having a similar experience. Such fraudulent and rude behavior has no place in the hospitality business.

My best friend and I stayed at The Stay Company. Beautiful Georgian buildings, with mod cons. Parking was great, and very central so we could explore the City. Extremely efficient check in and out, with minimum fuss. The apartments are well equipped with thoughtful touches and I slept very well. The apartment had everything we needed for a great stay. We ate at a lovely local restaurant on the same road, (The Dining Room, which was very good). Raza the Operations Manager was super helpful even helping with my luggage. I can highly recommend if you are staying in Derby for work or pleasure.
