I did not realize when I booked NO lift! got there & was not happy! As my sister & I have various disabilities. I made it up the stairs to my room, as I was too tired to try & find another place. Actually, I'm glad I did not look. Staff was super friendly & understanding in my melt down of no lift. Though I have never been anywhere that had a no reception hotel, it all worked out flawless. Rooms were spacious, a nice kitchen area with all you need: Cooktop, microwave, dishes, fridge, freezer. The bathroom with a rain shower, also a radiator in the bathroom could heat my towels :-) plenty of storage space. In the center of town, walking distance to Golden Square Mall, Warrington Town Hall among other places. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Did uber to get some food for the room. I will stay here when I go back to England to see my family. I have stayed at several hotels in England & was severely disappointed.. This place was honestly spot on! Lisa & husband Danny were HUGE help for myself & my sister. Bless them! my ONLY issue besides NO lift is dishes were high for my 5'2" height & closet was tad hard to hand clothes for me.. If you can handle stairs this place is a must for leisure or work! I can't see you being disappointed at all. I am upfront on what I write & review & say how I feel. update this year I went, few hiccups, that were noted, toilet is 2" inches from wall & radiator, I was offered another room 4 days after moving in,

A 4-star hotel?! To me, a meaningful amount of exaggeration and aspiration has gone into this statement. If you like fake velvet, fake flowers, gold detailing, self-service and questionable art on the walls, you'd be well-served. Style and tastes aside, I was cold (AC did not work / turn on), and I did not find the bed to be particularly comfortable. Location is great, but rooms are just about OK for the price.
I’ve stayed here 4 times over the last month and each time it’s excellent. Clean rooms. Great bed and shower. Big TV. Even a kettle and toaster and microwave (never used but handy if I needed to!) Make sure you keep an eye on text and email for the door code to get into the main building (as no reception) and your room- only 6 numbers so easy to remember. I left my sleep eye mask last time and messaged them - and Sunday night I checked in again and the eye mask was in the room for me. Really great service by the head office team and housekeeping.
This is the second time we came and stayed in this wonderful hotel and we think it is just perfect. The rooms are beautiful and there's everything you need and more in them. This time, instead of dining out (there are lots of lovely places to eat and drink very near by) I cooked us a meal! It was a fantastic experience and I know we will definitely come back again. I cannot recommend this place enough. We love it
Very appealing from the outside, lots of security via keypads to get in. 2nd floor with no lift access wasn’t great but doable. My room was very clean, not quite the high end that I had viewed on line and as a female solo traveller didn’t like that the door to my room was right by my bed. Noisy with people banging doors but in the whole a good nights sleep. I am not sure it’s worth the money I paid as wasn’t as luxurious as pictures portrayed. Great for town centre as very central & very handy for train station. I didn’t like the lack of staff, no welcome when it’s just keypads.
