Mercure Nottingham Sherwood Hotel

There are some feelings that cannot be expressed with words and that is how our experience was at Mercure Nottingham. It was beyond our expectation. We went there for my daughter's birthday weekend. The ambience was amazing. The staff were too good especially Florida. She made sure that she along with her colleagues Hien, Teouta and the chef made my daughter's birthday even more special. I only requested her to get the cake after breakfast to surprise my daughter but they presented the cake so well with a personal touch and came out singing the birthday song for her and she was so surprised. My daughter said it was the best birthday ever. The swimming pool was so clean and water clear. We will always remember this experience. Thank you very much once again Florida, Hien, chef, Teouta and all the staff for this special experience and making my daughter's day. The feelings and emotions are beyond my words to express.

Peter on reception was amazing. I parked outside the front ready to charge my ev car. He helped me out my scanning his card for me. Without his kindness and support l would have been lost. Peter is a credit to your staff and the hotel Thank you

I recently stopped at the Mercure Hotel for a brief meal after a graduation ceremony, and it was a pleasant experience. The meal was enjoyable and well presented, making for a satisfying end to a memorable day. What stood out most to me was the dining area, particularly the beautiful sunroof that fills the space with natural light and creates a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The service was average—courteous and efficient, though not particularly remarkable. Nevertheless, the overall ambience and quality of the meal made the visit worthwhile. Overall, the Mercure Hotel offers a comfortable dining experience in an inviting setting, and it is certainly a place I would be happy to return to in the future.

Stayed here for my son's graduation - easy to get a uber to the centre of Nottingham. Hotel very peaceful, booked 2 twin rooms on first floor, air con working well. Had bar snacks before going the graduation which were well-prepared . Price was rather steep at £181 per room inc breakfast, when I have stayed in the same room for c £75, but I assume live pricing came into play here due to it being a week night and events in the city,
