Greylands Guest House

Honestly i would say the best Guesthouse i have stayed at. You can tell as soon as you walk in, that there is there is pride in this b&b. From the rooms being decorated and the upkeep is clearly taken serious. Very clean and loads of little extras, like bathrobes, body lotion, toothpaste and even slippers provided. Breakfast was also great, perfectly cooked runny poached eggs. Location wise, theres a chippy next door and the town is a 5 min walk.

We stayed 3 nights in this excellent B&B. It's located directly opposite the train station with close by parking, including their own car park. The single rooms, while compact, have every facility available. However the main attractions are the hosts - very warm and welcoming - and the breakfasts. I've never known such a variety and home cooked where possible (eg the bread, the porridge), all to a very high standard. Definitely one to return to.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Lots of lovely touches such as hooks for clothes and nice teas and drinks. Excellent breakfast. Also very good value for money.

A lovely place to stay. Very neat and tidy, spotless inside. Well appointed rooms with lovely features. I have en suite, kettle with Horlicks, Maltesers, Galaxy, a big selection of teas, lotus biscuits, chocolate biscuits, shortcake, sparkling water, still water, it's better than home! Plenty of street parking and car park opposite. A short 2 minute walk to town. Linda makes you breakfast, choose from a good selection of cereal, home made bread, cooked items. This is like no other guest house. It really is very well done.
