12 of us played the priory (twice) and the moorland course over the weekend and had a great time. All staff very welcoming and food very enjoyable. Pleased I played priory twice as course was very tough with lots of blind tee shots. Highly recommend playing here . But bit expensive on the alcohol £8 a pint was a bit steep. Definitely needed a buggy and will hopefully return. Thanks for a nice 3 days of golf on a well managed course
Played the Moorland Course at Breadsall Priory and absolutely loved it. The course is beautiful, in great condition, and makes for a really enjoyable walk. Even if the hills remind you you’ve skipped leg day. The highlight of the round? I somehow managed to make my first ever eagle on a par 4. I’m still not entirely convinced it happened and will be dining out on that story for years. A brilliant course, great fun to play, and now officially the home of my golfing peak!
Warm welcome, quick check in. The grounds are amazing, rolling greens of the golf course and lovely gardens. Finding parking can be tricky and lines are worn so plenty of 1.5 space parkers. The leisure areas were clean and in good condition. Highly recommended the spa treatments, especially the massages. Lexie definitely has magic in her hands, not felt so relaxed in a while. Overall, lively period hotel and grounds with great spa services.
We had a 2 night golf break for our 50th Anniversary. The food was excellent as was the service. We were greeted by a bottle of Proseco in our room, which was a lovely surprise, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I have only given 3 stars for the room as the furniture is mismatched and could have been better. The bed was comfortable, tv excellent and it was great to have a 2 seat sofa. The golf courses are very hilly and a good challenge, a buggy is recommended unless you are young and very fit!
Had a very pleasurable stay here with my wife for Valentines. This hotel was an excellent choice. Bedroom was very comfortable. Could quite happily have stayed longer. Room service was prompt. Our Valentines meal (a le carte) was excellent.... Food was nice and hot and came within a reasonable amount of time. Breakfast was also very well done. Food was fresh, hot, and not left to dry out. Staff were very attentive. We used the leisure facilities which was reasonable. The sauna was very hot which was great and very clean as was the whole pool area. Overall we had a nice relaxing time and the hotel and grounds provided everything that was expected. We will definitely explore more Delta hotels in the very near future.
