Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa

We had a one night overnight spa break. Treatment was fabulous and our massage therapists were lovely. The building itself is beautiful with a fascinating history. One thing that stood out for us was the food. Dinner was absolutely fantastic and we haven’t enjoyed a meal as good as that in a long time! Staff in the restaurant were also great. Really enjoyed our stay.

A very unique place to stay, combining the historic property with a modern annex including spa. The main hotel has a great bar and plenty of historic features to look at. The spa is decent. It could have better lounging areas, and it was a bit busy for my taste. Nonetheless, the sauna and steam room were very good indeed

We would recommend a stay here. We had an amazing one night stay here that also included the use of the spa swimming pool, sauna and steam room which was great to relax after a long drive. Our room was a suite in the main house, it was large and comfortable. We relaxed in the Sherridan bar, had a sandwich lunch, which was also in the main house. This building is steeped in history, the interior is amazing, it would be enough to spend time just walking around the hotel taking in the Jacobean style and features. Staff and service was great, helpful and welcoming. There was a wedding in progress when we arrived but did we did not hear any noise from the evening reception or music, which is a good to know if anyone might be worried when booking. In the evening we ate in the Brasserie which started well but after our starter we waited over 45 minutesfor our mains, we were not the only ones, we had to ask when to expect our mains and apologised for the delay, and was supposed to be soon but we had to ask again, we were not very happy. When our meals did arrive they looked great but were only warm which was dissapointing, we were hungry so ate our meals although, we did mention this once we got the bill. Busy or not food should be served hot! This is reflected in our rating of 3 stars for service.

I could not reccomend crewe hall hotel and spa more. Everything was perfect from the food to the service to the facilities. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was great and its self service which was a lovely suprise! The optipns were great they even had a rang of milk alteratives and gluten free bread. The spa facilities were great. The changing rooms were clean and had combination lockers which is a brilliant idea and they even had swimming costume dryers. The pool itself was walm and clean and the sauna and steam room were great. They had an experince shower which was fun. The grounds were lovely and the hotel itself was beautiful! They had a games room with board games and chess it really was a great place to explore! We had an amazing anniversary stay and we will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you to all the team!
