Called in for a meal. It was delicious. We had gammon egg & chips. It came with cooked mushrooms onions & grilled tomato, accompanied with salad garnish. Will definitely be back.

Can't tell you about the rooms, but what I can say is that the staff are professional, approachable and friendly, it's in a great location and a really nice place to start your day exploring our beautiful Cheshire countryside, honestly set the SatNav to your destination and then just ignore it.
If you’re tired of microwaved pub food and want a proper homemade meal, this is the place for you. Everything was cooked to a high standard, full of flavour, and very reasonably priced. The service was fantastic, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. If you’re looking for a great pub meal with honest, homemade food, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try.
We have eaten in many of Natwich's restaurants and pubs. Sadly, we have left this nearly till last. Actually food cooked on the premises by real chefs. One of the best meals we have had out in many years. And thanks to Jack, the service was equally as good. We can't wait to come back so we can work our way through the menu. We went again yesterday, (30/05/26) food and service equally excellent. We are spoilt living in Nantwich and surrounded by so many great places.
I booked an evening meal for my wife and I last Saturday. We love the Cheshire Cat's traditional building along with the atmosphere and have been many times before to the bar for drinks which we love. We ordered small plates and they were pretty much all very poor, dried out cheese, tough ribs, soggy fries and wet in the middle onion bhajis. Sadly won't be going for food again and we were really disappointed.
