The Ritz-carlton, Chengdu

We had a great stay here, after moving from a not great hotel next door - the value for money at the ritz was incredible and the service was brilliant - particularly Luca who kindly messaged us with various tips for exploring Chengdu and made sure we were settled, as well as getting our kids some drawing activities. Great breakfast - good restaurants on the street round the corner for hot pot etc!

We stayed here for two nights to try it out, as it was our first time visiting Chengdu. The hospitality was excellent, and the room rate was very reasonable. I especially loved the breakfast spread, which maintained the same high standard I’ve come to expect from other Ritz-Carlton properties. I noticed that some reviews mentioned the service wasn’t on par with other Ritz-Carlton hotels, but that wasn’t my experience at all. I found the service to be just as attentive and professional. If you’re staying here, the Michelin-starred Li Xuan restaurant is a must-visit. The food and dining experience were exceptional.

I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Chengdu from 25th May to 30th May 2026 on a business trip. The staff was courteous and helpful. Special mentions: Chef Sanjay Nautiyal: Chef prepared butter chicken curry as per our taste and incorporate some dishes for our daily breakfasts. We enjoyed all the food he incorporated. Reception staff Cherry Wang: She helped us in booking high speed train tickets and suggested tourist places in Chengdu. To all house keeping staff at the hotel: Thank you for your hospitality and keeping our rooms clean. Looking forward to visit with family at the earliest.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. One of the highlights of our stay was how they helped us organize a birthday celebration for my sister, which made the occasion even more special. We also accidentally left my sister’s glasses in a DiDi car, and the hotel team kindly contacted the driver and helped arrange for the glasses to be returned to us. A special thank you to Meria for assisting me with ordering flowers and making the process so easy and smooth. Her kindness and excellent service were truly appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
