Sofitel Kunming

Buffet at floor 49. The staff is very un professional and didn’t value the feedback at all. They didn’t provide enough what we order until we need to go straight to the front desk to tell them what happen. We order 2 soup set per table for 3 people. And they only put 1 soup for us and didn’t give us the seafood ingredients as the staffs said they already gave it to us but there is nothing rather than the soup alone

Hotel is located on a high rise building we booked a club room got an early check in staff was very nice and helpful . Rooms are of decent size and with all the amenities. Club lounge is amazing like a rooftop bar . Breakfast selection is huge and has great varieties would definitely recommend people who come to Kunming to stay here

We arrived on 16/5/26 and were warmly received by Cathy Li and Suri Su. Both of them greeted us eagerly as we walked up to the hotel front desk . Both of them made effort to understand our room preference including some dinner suggestions too. The hotel porter was by our side to help with our luggage before we were ready to walk to the elevator. 👍🏻 At arrival, the hotel bell boy at the front of hotel was at hand to help us to unload our luggages from our car. On the 2nd day of our stay, Cathy Li & Lucky guided us with various sightseeing options and were indeed useful. 🫶🏻 5-star rating for Suri Su for her undying effort to enquire if we need any more assistance each time we meet her at the front lobby. She is a gem. 💎 The breakfast crew were always at hand to serve a scrumptious breakfast, keeping every table clean & tidy to receive the guests streaming in for their breakfast. The ‘chef’ at each station offers a morning greeting as soon as we reach each of the food station. Great Job SOFITEL KUNMING for having such a great team . Kudos to ALL . Thanks for going the extra miles to delight my two travelling partners with the room decorations, cake and wine for their 60th birthday celebration. There are four ALL members in the group of 8, and we greatly appreciated the privileged treatments as ALL members. The 30% F&B discounts at the cafe and the Chinese restaurant offered great savings too. The food at the Chinese Restaurant was very good too. We had a very memorable stay and will certainly return to stay with Sofitel Kunming if we are back in town.
