Grace from the front desk (working in exec lounge but helping the front desk at that time) is very nice and helpful. Her smile make me feel very welcome

Had high hopes for this hotel as the photos looked great. But arrived to a very dated hotel with very warm rooms in the middle of February. Unfortunately it feels like it is the same everywhere in China - HVAC is centralized and in the winter there is only heat. Room was 26 degrees unless we opened the windows, but since it is facing a big street it is quite loud out. Long walk from Chengdu South since you need to go around, but around 8 minutes from the nearest subway stop.

I was not impressed with the level of service at front office, maybe because they dont speak much english. Also room cleaning was not very good. Coffee mug was nit clean for 2 days. Having said that the level of service in Executive lounge was impressive, specially from Liu Hongmei & Fengxiaoming was impeccable. We were really impressed. They go the extra mile to help clients. They will be a great asset to the hotel.

The furnishings and facilities of the whole hotel are old and maintenance-needed, such as some of the light switches in the room are not well functioning and the some furnitures need to be repaired. The varieties and quality of the food in the breakfast are decent but not outstanding, comparing with other Renaissance branches. I would say this breakfast shouldn’t be delivered by Renaissance. However, the staff at the front desk is kind, polite, and willing to assist the residents.
