I stayed here over the New Year's holiday last year and enjoyed such excellent service that I returned again this winter. I stayed again this year for a total of three nights. Chinese people don't often greet guests with a smile, but the staff here are all smiling and very welcoming. They remembered I was a foreigner and greeted me in English! I was so happy, and they even upgraded my room for free on my last day. Thank you so much! All the rooms are very spacious and come equipped with chopsticks, plates, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Also, while it may depend on the room type, the room I stayed in had a sink, dish soap, and a sponge, so I was able to wash my mug and chopsticks. The shower water pressure and temperature were decent, although it occasionally got lukewarm. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided. There was also moisturizing cream on the sink. Everything smelled lovely. The body soap smelled like orange, and the shampoo smelled like white peach oolong. The sink is very clean, and amenities like toothbrushes, combs, cotton balls, and cotton swabs are provided, so you don't need to bring much. The toilet is a washlet, which is rare in China! This is the most appreciated feature for a Japanese person. The toilet seat is warm, not cold like in winter. However, the washlet in the room I stayed in for two nights was broken, so I couldn't wash my bottom. I wish I could have used it, as my bottom was sore after eating hot pot. Free coffee and tea are available in the lobby for guests. A card key is required to get coffee. A year ago (2024), this wasn't necessary, but as of this time (December 29, 2025), a card key is required, perhaps because it was frequently used by non-guests. Caramel syrup and other ingredients are provided here, so you can customize your own drink, like a caramel macchiato. White peach oolong tea bags are also available, so tea lovers will appreciate it, but late into the night, the tea is slow to replenish, and sometimes only milk is served, with no coffee. They also offer delivery services, and you can often see an unmanned robot getting into the elevator and delivering food to your room. It's so cute. There's a Walmart about a five-minute walk from the hotel, so I stocked up on lots of fruit and snacks. In addition to the tableware and microwave mentioned above, they also have a colander, so you can have a fruit party. This hotel definitely gets five stars. I would highly recommend it to Japanese people, and if I come to Chengdu again, I'd definitely like to stay here again.
