Get here by high speed rail - just 30 mins from Chengdu Xipu station.
I had an enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn Dujiangyan Ancient Town recently. With its comfortable rooms and superb location, it is an excellent choice for those looking to explore Dujiangyan and the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and our room was lovely. Having recently been refurbished, it felt fresh and modern; the bed was comfortable, and the suite we booked had a nice lounge area. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was well-priced. We found it to be very peaceful after 9:00 am, as most guests had already departed for their day trips. Overall, considering the fantastic location and the quality of the facilities, this is a perfect option for a stay in Dujiangyan.
The hotel is in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the highlights: the Nanqiao Ancient Bridge, the panda selfie spot, and convenience stores. Just a short walk left from the hotel, you'll find a Family Mart and a Lawson. Very convenient. Take the elevator to the lobby on the 4th floor, then change to the elevator next to the restaurant to reach your floor. You'll need your key card to select your floor. The room is fully equipped with amenities, including complimentary drinks. The room is medium-sized. Pictures are provided. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Just let them know your room number.
