This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Kunming. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, while the service is warm, efficient and consistently attentive. Its greatest strength is the strategic location, within easy walking distance of the night market and a wide variety of local eateries, making it ideal for exploring the city’s food scene. The breakfast offers a good mix of local Yunnan specialities and international favourites. Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel that offers great value, and I would happily stay here again.
the hotel was a little old, the room is standard.. nothing impressive but their breakfast was stunning! a lot of selections to choose from .. staff are very considerate.. impressive
My husband and I are both happy to stay here for 7 nights. From the first check in, our room was being upgraded. Good location, daily room service and they even gave a surprise birthday cake for me. We really appreciate the warmth although with limited communication. 😊
The location is good as is in the center of the town, but there are plenty of good hotels around - so I will advise you to avoid this hotel.
Is not well maintained, for example some floors are very dark and alley walking to your room if I remember correctly 17th floor is dark and not much lighting.
On the arrival date, there was no bellboy… zzzzz
We had a generally good experience during our stay. However, our overall impression was completely changed by how the hotel handled a serious issue during our check-out.
On the day we left, we were confident that we had forgotten a small bag and a branded belt in the room. We immediately contacted the hotel after realizing this. The initial response from the hotel was that nothing had been found, which was already disappointing. Still, we followed up with two times sending email requesting a proper recheck or investigation but unfortunately, we received no response at all.
