Villa Sirocos, Private Eco Pool, Near The Beach

My family and I stayed for a week at Villa Sirocos recently and really enjoyed our time there. Everything is extremely clean. The hosts are very helpful. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beaches, nice beach clubs, restaurants, and super markets. My kids enjoyed the pool everyday to cool off in the heat. The hosts are very gracious and share olive oil, drinks, treats, etc. The villa is well stocked and supplied with everything you need. Highly recommend!

Where to start with this review?! We stayed at Villa Sirocos for two weeks at the end of May/first 2 weeks of June. The villa is in a superb location just off the main coast road. Far enough to be away from road noise, close enough to walk in a minute. There is a well stocked supermarket right at the end of the road. Stalos has a number of restaurants and cafes, no bars on the main road but there are a high number of beach bars that are dotted all along the front. Also Agia Marina and Plantanias are not far - Agia Marina is easily walkable. The buses run very regularly also and there is a “road” train. Onto the villa - its a fantastic 3 storey property- it has all the amenities you could wish for, the kitchen is so well stocked, has TV’s in all rooms, Satellite tv, WiFi internet (fast enough to stream to/movies) also worth noting that each room has an air conditioning unit. The outside area is also a lovely space, loads of seating, tables, parasols, cushions and 4 sun loungers, its also a sun trap as the sun sits above it pretty much all day. The only negative I would say is that we found the pool a tad cold - however once in it was lovely. Where this property really surprised us and stood out was that the owners really care about your experience - the cleaner comes twice a week and literally does everything, changes all the bedding, towels, replaces toilet paper, cleans all the bins, she even cleans the pool and tests the levels etc - maybe other people are used to this but for us this seemed above and beyond for what is a self catering villa. Other than food/drink we really didn’t need to buy anything. Eleni the cleaner even brought us a cake which was a lovely touch. Also the wonderful gift basket on arrival with things like coffee pods for the machine, local olive oil and other lovely touches. We also messaged the owners a few times and they always responded very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. All in all this was a wonderful stay and I can’t recommend this villa highly enough. A fantastic place to spend a holiday and create unforgettable memories.

Stayed here for a girls/birthday trip and it was amazing. Super comfortable, beds were amazing, the pool got alot of use and the location was perfect. We got a rental but only needed to use it once since the beach was right there and the hotel 3 minutes away offer day trips to Balos and Santorini . 11/10 would stay here again. It was also extremely well priced and the host greeted us and gave us this super great welcome basket.

Visited for a Holiday as a group in April. We met the host to get the keys, lovely man, very friendly. Once in the villa we were met with a basket of goodies from the hosts including homemade raki and wine. The house was spotless and had all the amenities including pool, sun loungers, tupperware, tampons, wine glasses, air con, spare blankets, soap, shower gel, washing machine, hair dryer and diffuser, iron, washing line. The list goes on. There was clear instructions for everything and books on local things to do and cook as well as games. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again. The only downside was that the buses that stop outside the villa only start mid April so make sure your prepared to walk to the next bus stop or get a taxi. Thank you so much for having us.
