Le Soleil D'or

Had a five-star experience staying at The Coast House for our honeymoon. The staff, led by manager Amar, were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the island. Our accommodations were immaculate. The Coast House is clean and modern with plenty of space for a couple. The private pool, ocean views, and sound of the waves at night were enchanting. We ate at The Farm restaurant every night which was fabulous and the included breakfast was delightful. We loved all the staff working at the restaurant - they were so friendly. Our farm tour with Jonathan was a highlight of our trip. We would highly recommend getting a rental car to explore the small island of Cayman Brac. We visited in April which is the beginning of their slower season, we often felt like the only people there. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil stay in a gorgeous and rugged place. We would love to return!

The hotel was even better than I expected. The staff was fantastic before we even got to the island and checked up on us after our trip. They were very accommodating, arranged travel from the airport, and were attentive to special requests. The rooms are very spacious and more affordable than many hotels. We had a wonderful balcony view of the ocean that was amazing. There was also plenty of bottled water and towels. We really enjoyed the restaurant. The farm-fresh meals and drinks were unique to the local culture and delicious. We would love to return as soon as we can.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Le Soleil d'Or. The staff is incredibly accommodating and hospitable. They make everything very easy, starting with airport pickup (including a driver who knows the island well and showed us relevant places on the way to the hotel), and a tour of the place when you arrive. Bags delivered to the room, cold water provided, a number to call/text if you need anything, option to schedule dinner and breakfast reservations at the restaurant, etc. Everything was made very easy and the staff was very kind. We stayed in the Cherry Lime room, which had an amazing wrap around balcony with ocean views, and lounge chairs for sitting out and soaking up the sun while listening to the waves. (I highly recommend doing so with a bottle of wine from the restaurant.) The bathroom attached to the room was the size of a hotel room itself, with a shower, separate tub, double vanity sink... the whole thing was perfect. Everything was very clean. We ate at the restaurant and I thought the food was great. I see comments stating that it's expensive, but remember that you're paying for farm-to-table quality and island prices. The cost needs to sustain farmers, farmland, chefs, servers, overhead... so I think the prices are actually VERY reasonable when put in perspective. Dinner for two, including drinks, was less than 200 USD. Overall, exceptional experience. Would highly recommend coming here to escape your busy day-to-day. It's a great place to unwind. We hope to return.

We came in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. The staff at the Beach Club bar were very friendly and impressively quick, even though there were only two team members handling a busy lunch rush. Sameera from Sri Lanka stood out in particular. He was attentive, efficient, and always served with a genuine smile despite how busy it was. Later that day, we also dined at the Farm restaurant and were pleasantly surprised when Sameera greeted us again. He remembered our earlier interaction and welcomed us warmly with the same high energy and friendliness. The food was good, portions were generous, and both settings were pleasant. The bathrooms at the Beach Club were also very clean. Overall, I’d highly recommend both the Beach Club and the Farm restaurant. Sameera truly made both experiences exceptional.
