The tour is 3-3.5 hours (not the advertised 5-6 hours) The driver was very good and knowledgeable. Too bad the market is closed on Fridays

Mohamed was great guide, we had a good time visiting Casablanca.
Due to a container ship spillage at the port of Morocco just prior to the arrival of the Sapphire Princess, we were unable to dock. The port was closed to all ship traffic in and out. Even though Viator claims a "worry free guarantee" just for these situations, I was denied a refund from their tour operator as they had less than 24 hrs notice. This has been an ongoing battle with Viator who only seems to generate simple standard denial refund letters. In researching online, this seems to be the normal for Viator. While I have had great experiences with Viator in the past as well as on this particular cruise, this has made me realize that their guarantee is worthless once the actual time happens to need that guarantee. I had notified both the tour operator and Viator at 630 am to inform them of the situation. Apparently this did nothing, as the tour driver contacted me at 820 am to confirm pickup. He said "he was never briefed". The tour company that Viator hired has never had the decency to reply to my emails or texts. I blame Viator for not vetting these vendors properly in the first place. I was able to obtain a partial refund from Viator, but they refuse to refund the other two thirds of my payment. I have since begun a dispute with my credit card company for the refund balance. No where in my receipts from Viator or the tour company does it state I am responsible for this situation. Viator has never shown me exactly where I am wrong. Viator said the offer "worry free guarantee " for these and other situations.
We did a private tour for 2 couples. Nice clean and roomy Mercedes van. Mohammed, our guide, was friendly and helpful. Spoke English very well and clear. He took us to the highlights and provided good clear instructions at each stop and provided good context throughout the trip
Achraf was an excellent guide. He showed me the sights of Casablanca and took me to a gorgeous riad for lunch. He was kind, protective, and knowledgeable. It was like traveling with a friend. Highly recommend!
We very much enjoyed our tour today seeing the Hassan II Mosque and touring the interior, a very unique building with amazing architecture. We also saw the Sacred Heart and Notre Dame Church’s on our tour. There were several other stops too before making it back to our hotel. The Driver was fantastic and knowledgeable but kept our comfort and security a priority. He knew his way around the city so we didn’t waste anytime getting caught up in traffic or other delays.

We booked the 5-6 hour tour of Casablanca with Shuttle Layover and Tours. Here are some details of our tour that occurred in January 2026. Tour guide/driver showed up past the 8:30 meeting time. There were no attempts by the driver nor the operator to tell us that he would be late. At the Hassan mosque, the driver/guide rushed across the large square. He did not explain anything about the site, he did not allow time for photos, and he did not account for the abilities of the tour participants to keep up with his pace. When asked why he skipped the Central Market that was listed on the itinerary, he said that because it was Sunday, there would only be fish for sale there; implying it wasn’t worth going there. After the tour we decided to walk to the market on our own. Indeed there were mostly fish stands open but they were interesting to see. And there were a few other non-fish stands open counter to what we were told. We trusted the driver/guide to provide sufficient time for us to enjoy each site, but his suggested amount of time was often too short. He did allow us to set the amount of time we wanted, but we based our time on his suggestions given he is the expert. For example at the Habous District, he suggested a short stop. So we agreed to 20 minutes. Upon returning to the van, we felt this was not nearly enough time to see the site. Later I noticed the advertised itinerary suggested 1 hour for this stop. The tour was done in less than 3 hours (it is advertised as 5-6 hours) and included in these 3 hours is the 1 hour we spent in the mosque with a mosque paid tour guide). When questioned why the tour was so short, the driver/guide told us that the tour is like a checklist. Once you have seen the sites listed, the tour is done. He also told us that he felt the only site worth seeing in Casablanca was the mosque. There is more to be said but I think this provides a clear enough picture for you to decide whether you would like to book this tour.
From the minute I landed to the minute I departed, Ayoub was right there. A kind soul and very knowledgeable. My wife and I had an amazing time. If you have an itinerary already just share it with him and he’ll have you covered. If not, then he still has you covered with some attractions he finds most noteworthy.
Our tour guide, Ayoub, was fantastic! We took a celebrity Infinity shuttle bust into into the city center and met our tour guide across the street from where we got off the bus at the Hyatt regency hotel. We got to see everything we wanted to see and Ayoub was very knowledgeable of each location. He went out of his way to accommodate us and made sure that we were happy with our visit to Casablanca. Five stars all the way ! Mohammad our guide was incredibly knowledgeable , and very patient with my octogenarian parents . He brought my dad a wheelchair which was very gracious and also wheeled him around . We accidentally forgot to update our reservation to the new courtyard marriott hotel we stayed at and so he went to the Casablanca marriott / totally our fault and without hesitation he drove another half hour to get to us without complaining or making me feel bad about my own oversight . We thus arrived when the Hassan 2 mosque was closed to public but he had a special connection who allowed us access to see what in my opinion is the most beautiful mosque (architecturally speaking ) mosque in the world ! We loved everything about this tour . Mohammad’s English is also impeccable so was very easy to understand him . Could not have asked for a better guide and itinerary . Highly highly recommend

It was a very nice and pleasant layover trip. Our tour guide, Said is very professional and helpful. He was waiting for us even our flight was delayed arriving. The car is comfortable and his driving skill is excellent. The sightseeing was arranged efficiently with 6 hours layover time. Highly recommended if you stop at Casablanca more than 6hours, way better than stay at airport.

Our guide, Hamid, was terrific. We had only 7 in our group so the tour was very personal. The stop at a restaurant for lunch was most enjoyable. The visit and guided tour to the inside of the mosque was the highlight and the main reason we took the tour.

What a memorable and magical tour we had with Ayoub, truly the highlight of our cruise! Throughout our 3 hour private tour Ayoub was so professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind, and because of him we got to experience the true Casablanca, far more than we would’ve if we had tried to find all these spectacular places and sites on our own. Very good introduction to casablanca, this tour let you touch all the main important places of the city, expecially the wonderful mosquée hassin 2. All the transport (included from hotel) and mosquee entrance are inxluded. The driver Chouaib is very friendly and speaks a lot of languages!
