Private Casablanca Tour With Mosque Ticket And Pickup From Cruise

The driver picked us up at the correct time and place and took us to visit Casablanca’s Mosque. The visit went well, everything according to plan and we had a great time!

This started off badly with the driver’s friend picking us up…he couldn’t speak English well so communicating was very difficult… our driver took on another group and I guess subbed us out as our tour was supposed to be private tour…poor driver didn’t know what to do PLUS there was a Marathon taking place and streets were closed…poor planning… it was supposed to be a half day tour but went all day… very disappointed … did not learn anything about the history or culture WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 😡

We didn’t get picked up at the port like we were told, we had to meet at a central location so we had to take the shuttle bus to get there. Our driver Yusuf, hardly spoke to us during the whole trip, his English wasn’t that good. All he did was basically drive us around and drop us off each location. We had no idea where exactly we were going until we got there. At no time did he give us an actual tour of anything now did he tell us about anything regarding the places that we stopped at. We had to walk around ourselves and at one point we walked close to other guides who were giving an actual tour to a group of people and giving them information about what they were looking at. The only good thing about the tour was that he could drive pretty well.

Our tour provider Bilal Travel was not able to verbalize any information, respond to our question as he was not able to converse in English. He drove past sights with comments here are hotels, here is Rick’s Cafe, did not know if there were practicing Catholics etc. Thank goodness the Mosque had a seasoned tour guide which we both enjoyed. This was a private tour with sadly very little attention.

This is billed as pickup at cruise. When I went off the ship there was nobody there. Come to find out you have to take a shuttle into town as they are not allowed to enter the port. This was never told to us. The operator sometimes took a full day to get back to us when we messaged them and once not at all. I would also classify the guide as more of a driver than a tour guide.

The mosque was impressive. So many visitors inside we lost sight of our group, so added ourselves to another group which was not ideal. Guide was 10 minutes late picking us up there. The guide had limited English which meant many of our questions went unanswered. We didn't go to the market which would have been interesting. Rather we were taken to a carpet and craft shop, and we had no interest there.

A fantastic day exploring Casablanca in a private car with Yusuf. The Hassan II Mosque is incredible and a real highlight of the day.

I was very happy with our Casablanca departure transfer. Both the tour provider and the driver, Mustapha, confirmed our very early pickup time the day before, and on the day of, the driver even arrived a few minutes early and let us know he was there. He was kind, helpful, and offered us bottled water. The car was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The driver was safe and efficient. Drop off was seamless. The transfer felt like a luxury experience and it was well worth the money. Highly recommend!

If all you need is to hire a driver, this tour is fine. Pros: pickup from airport and dropoff to hotel. The mosque is beautiful. Cons: arrived 30 minutes late for pickup. AC barely working. No tour guide - just drop off/pickup from location. Tried to engage and ask questions in the car. Maybe it was the language barrier but got few answers and he spent most of his time on his phone while driving. He also tried to change/shorten the itinerary because “he went to all of those places yesterday” and mentioned a pharmacy which we disagreed to. The tour lists a bunch of markets but we only went to the Old Medina because the car broke down after Rick’s so we had to wait for another to come and were then dropped off to our hotel. Side note you cannot go into Rick’s without a reservation.

Booked this tour during a cruiseport stop. Unfortunately our ship was unable to dock due to high waves at the cruise port. Inquired about a refund but was told they couldn't because they had already done all the planning and purchased the tickets. Instead they offered my a discount if I went through them directly on a future visit. I have tried contacting them multiple times via the email that they provided me and directly via their webpage chat bot as we are returning to Casablanca on an upcoming cruise. The emails get denied saying that it is spam and their webpage chat never responds. I've tried repeatedly to contact them with no success.

Youssef was on the phone constantly. He only pointed out the bank and the Mosque. Little if any information. The Mosque was amazing

Marwon our guide had little information to share and in some cases did not seem to know what he was showing us. He left us on our own and tried to finish the tour without taking us to some of the sites listed for the tour. He was basically a driver and not a guide.

Not a guided tour as limited English. Taken to a Carpet shop not on itinerary. Itinerary not followed and quite inconsistent. Save your money and negotiate a tour by taxi

We had an excellent experience with Casablanca Prestige Tours. Youseff was outstanding from the initial trip planning stage through our airport pickup. He was very professional, punctual, and always made sure to arrive on time if not earlier. He was flexible, reliable, and helped make the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Very little English. No narrative. None at all. Got us in the Mosque, but no direction. Nice enough, but we expected some information on the city and sights.

We paid more money for a guided tour but got only a driver and almost zero guided information. Communication to rejoin the car after the mosque was not good as we were almost stranded and did not know where to rejoin our driver. the vehicle was comfortable.

We booked this private tour for the one day our cruise ship was in Casablanca. We had some confusion over the pick up location. The driver (Jamal?) was apparently not permitted to come on to the port property and, luckily, after a bit of a panicked phone call, we were able to meet him at United Nations Square where the shuttle buses dropped cruise passengers off. There was one other minor hiccup: our driver provided us not with tickets but with cash to buy tickets at the Hassan ll Mosque and he did not give us enough money. We again had to call him and he did return immediately and connected us with this supervisor who took us through the crowds into the mosque. It was all a bit confusing but it worked out in the end. The rest of the tour was fine. Jamal was happy to take us to whatever sights we wanted to see and he did show us lovely traditional restaurant for a light lunch.

Guide was great. One of the best guides ever. However, I paid for a private tour and took a shared tour.

We were delighted with our tour! Youssef is a cheerful friendly guide who took us to the places which interested us most, including the amazing Great Mosque and the ancient alleyways of the Medina, expertly driving us through the hair-raising Casablanca traffic. An experience to remember: highly recommended.

Unfortunately we were unable to dock due to high waves. The captain did his best but he could, it just wasn't safe. Not the vendors fault but apparently no refunds. Three stars because I guess the vendor showed up.

How can I write a review on a trip that didn’t happen. Our ship couldn’t dock so tour couldn’t take place. I know not tour operators fault and I know that I can’t cancel but a goodwill gesture of at least half of cost refunded would have been nice

We were unable to stop at the port and had no warning. No vessels were allowed to port due to 20 cargo containers overboard in the port. This operator refused to give a refund even though it was his city authority that didn’t allow us to stop.

The cruise Port was closed due to an accident of other vessel and could not take the tour. Some kind of insurace should be offered on this type of issues. My entire payment was wasted AND either the tour operator nor me had any responsibility on the situation.

It was not a tour, just a driver! He did not even take us to all stops that were listed in the detail information. The tour was suppossed to be 4-5 hours, he asked if we were ready to be done after 3 hours! Disappointing for the cost.

Great tour. Yourself did an excellent job. The mosque was incredible and not to be missed. The ocean front park was beautiful as well.

The company has all new vehicles less than one year old and both Youssef and his father are highly professional with good knowledge of their country Morocco. The family was always briefed one day before on the following day's plan and the driver was always waiting before the pick-up time. The family used services of Z-Prestige Tours SARL for intra-city as well as inter-city travel, spending 4Nights/ 5 days in Marrakech, 2 Nights/3 days in Casblanca and 2 Nights/3 days in Rabat. Great city tour for 4 hours with a private driver. It includes a guided tour to Hassan II mosque. It is well worth it.

We did a 4 hour private tour. Our driver, Yousef, is great. We saw all the important sites and stopped at Rick's Cafe for a quick drink. It is well worth it.

We spent a wonderful morning in Casablanca with our guide/driver Mohammed, who speaks perfect Italian. The guide picked us up directly at our apartment and accompanied us, telling us many anecdotes, to the iconic places of the city, including the Hassan II Mosque. I highly recommend it.
