What a vivid and slightly intense walk through the markets of Casablanca! I definitely felt that i experienced the real Casablanca. Mohammed, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate. The food was great. I wish I would have bought some oysters to eat then and there since they were amazing! I would suggest to your patrons that if they would like to buy additional, they are welcome to especially since the next stop was close by and we were sitting down for the next bite of food. Also buying from the locals would benefit them even more! Walking in the evening was an intense experience especially the moped bikes racing through the aisles. I was glad I experienced it but it was intense for a couple of the patrons. We had another passenger who was challenged with the all the walking so I would definitely put that it is a fair distance to walk for those w mobility issues. There are only bathrooms at the beginning and the and of the tour so plan accordingly. Overall, highly recommend and I would do the tour again.

Itinerary
Our Casablanca food tour offers guests a culinary experience around the city's medina. It's a carefully curated food adventure, led by our team of Casablanca tastemakers. Before we get started, our tour reflects the local cuisine, and the limitations of street food vendors and local eateries mean we cannot cater for every dietary restriction. Here's an honest appraisal for the tour, so no-one is disappointed: ✔ Suitable for halal, no pork and pescatarian diets ✘ Unsuitable for vegetarian and vegan diets, and gluten and lactose intolerance as the number of tastings would be very limited. If you are feeling adventurous for a foodie journey, read on!
This four-hour evening food tour explores Casablanca, moving through the historic seafood market, old town, and medina. Try 15+ tastings emphasising the local food beloved by Casablancans. The evening begins at the city's famous seafood market, where you’ll sample freshly shucked Moroccan oysters and rich, buttery sea urchins. From there, the tour continues to local favourites for smoky grilled prawns, crisp seafood pastilla wrapped in delicate warqa pastry, and charred vegetables served with a signature local sauce. As the walk moves deeper into the medina, you’ll taste classic Moroccan dishes such as flaky msemmen with olives, comforting bowls of harira, fragrant rfissa, and tender steamed lamb. Along the way, you’ll also stop for babbouche snails simmered in an aromatic herb broth, followed by traditional Moroccan pastries including honeyed chebakia and nutty fekkas. Our nightly food feast is a introduction to the real Casablancan cuisine.
The tour concludes after 3.5-4 hours at the La Tour De L'Horloge. You'll leave not only full, but with a much deeper understanding of Casablancan food culture and the confidence to continue eating your way through Morocco.

My guide Mohammed was fantastic. I tried many different foods I wouldn’t have otherwise and had a really great experience. We were all over Casablanca, into the old Medina, etc. I highly recommend booking this tour! Mohammed had a lot of valuable information about the city and connections with the locals and their food. Don’t miss this tour!!
Our guide Mohammed was amazing! I highly recommend you do this tour on your first day. It gets you acclimated to the city and the food. We tried so many different things, including seafood cake, head meat, and rfissa. Great experience!
Mohamed was an excellent guide. The food was fantastic - overall awesome experience
Great food tour of local markets and restaurants. Tried a lot of local foods, it was a very authentic experience. There was plenty of food. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Would recommend
I have taken many food tours around the world and this may be the best of all. Our guide, Mohamed Douibi, was amazing. For almost 4 hours we explored the cuisine of Casablanca. There were so many stops I can't count them all. The variety, quality and quantity of food offered was truly outstanding. I highly recommend anyone that is in Casablanca and enjoys food tours to book this one!
Great way to get to know Casablanca - and an introduction to Morocco. I was the only guest so Mohamed did a great job of explaining the history and an excellent selection of local food. Sooo much food for a single guest but I was assured that nothing is wasted and uneaten food is shared with those less fortunate. And I have been able to use my newfound local food knowledge to confidently buy snacks for the rest of my time in Morocco
Fantastic experience! Mohammed was amazing. He guided us through the Casablanca old quarter stopping at various food stalls and restaurants along the way. We had a long list of foods we wanted to try while in Morocco and crossed a majority off the list with this tour. Can't say enough good things about the tour and Mohammed.
Wonderful food tour around central Cadablanca. Many different stops and a great variety of food options. Engaging guide. Would recommend 100%.
This tour was so amazing! All the food was incredible and we tried so many different types of moroccan cuisine. The guide, Mohammed, was also very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had a great time and our guide even walked us back to our hotel, safe and sound! 100% recommend this amazing tour of Casablanca’s delicious food ❤️
Mohammed was a solid guide who knew the city well and took me to places I’d never have found — or tried — on my own. The food was the real highlight, stuff I definitely wouldn’t have ordered off a menu by myself. Good value if you want to eat beyond the tourist trail.
This food tour was everything I was looking for and more! I was unsure what to expect since I never perceived Casablanca as a foodie destination, but the food scene is actually where it shines. I found that the tour highlights the city’s religious diversity, colonial history, and modern identity through a wide variety of dishes, including great seafood which I personally loved and the most delicious breads and desserts. The small takeaway of freshly ground Moroccan herbs for my coffee was such a thoughtful touch. Mohamed was also such a wonderful guide. He was very kind, calm, and knowledgeable. He also came prepared with tissues, wipes, and hand sanitizer, which were quite useful and very appreciated when eating some dishes. He gave great recommendations and was genuinely lovely to chat with. I am surprised this tour is not more popular, as it was one of my favourite things I did in Casablanca. Would highly recommend!
Make sure you show up hungry and ready to eat because there is a lot to sample. Sweet, savoury, breakfast, lunch, and more. Mohamed is very knowledgeable and I saw more of the Old Medina than I would have on my own. There is a lot of food that I wouldn't have known about to try on my own. If you like food from street vendors and hidden gems, this tour is for you.
Absolutely shattered there aren’t more reviews for this tour. Mohamed is an excellent guide, sharing many details about the city of Casablanca and the history of Morocco while taking you to many delicious tastings over 4 hours. Each vendor brought something unique to the table, and I felt like a got a very holistic view of the Moroccan cuisine, from breakfast through to dinner, sweet and savoury. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Casablanca! It did end up being a solo tour, but as it gains more traction I think the group sizes will increase.
An excellent introduction to Casablanca and Moroccan food.
