Guided Tour Mosque Hassan2, Ticket Included, Skip The Line

I was disappointed in the tour, there seemed to be a lot of confusion at the beginning. We arrived at 9.45 as instructed. Our tour was to start at 10, at 10.15 a woman called out "English tour" She began giving us some information about the mosque and then said" here is your guide " and he took over. He was really good his English was excellent and he was easy to understand. The biggest problem was the size of the group. It looked like about 50 people it was a bit difficult to hear him and there were so many groups in the mosque it was hard to follow him and we lost him at one stage. The guide Amid was very professional, kind and we loved so much the tour. We didn't like that the time of the visit has been changed only the day before when we had to arrive to Casablanca by train so we had to discuss with the guardian at the main entrance and than run to reach the group in the Moschee 15 min later

Having a friendly and knowledgable Guide was so helpful and best way to do get the history of this incredible mosque.

Our tour guide, an older man with vision issues and therefore physically guided by a younger man, spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable, and shared a great deal of info. The tour is definitely worth it. Note: we booked this tour online and were told to meet the guide at the Mosque at the appointed time, and that the guide would email us, supposedly to inform us of the specific spot to meet. We never rec’d a message, so started approaching English speaking tour guides who were arriving at the site with small groups, who had presumably been doing city walking tours up to this point. One of these guides told us “wait your guide will be here in 3-4 min. That did not happen, but fortunately he came back outside and told us we were to join his group. Everything worked out in the end, but the process was not as simple as other similar tours we have booked over the years in different countries.

I paid for 2 hours but only had 1 hour with the guide - after that you were free to wander. Wondering if it’s better to get a 1 hour ticket. Also it was a very large group so hard to hear the guide.

The mosque is definitely worth visiting. However, this didn't add much onto the experience of just going independently. Other than help taking photos, there was no information offered before entering the mosque.

Minhaj Hicham was our driver and extremely professional, timely, and very helpful. I highly recommend him and you should definitely use him!

We took a Casablanca tour with Mr. Simon. He was very nice and showed us the popular attractions all over Casablanca for several hours.

Simo, was a good guide and helpful. He knew the city well and gave us good tips on how to get around and how to save money on cabs.

Simo took us to the Hassan II mosque, the Corniche, palace Royal and through the nicer residential areas. We also stopped at 2 older bazaars. A very nice trip.

Mohammed was amazing, he took us to many beautiful places on a short period of time because we had a layover to our final destination which was Lisbon. We enjoyed it and felt very safe with him. He let us skipped the line at the Mesquite and was very polity. I give him 10 stars...we will come back!

Simo our tour guide is awesome! He is very informative about the tour and he takes good care of us. The mosque is sacred so you need to follow their instructions. We took a nice pictures there. Pretty ones haha! When someone take advantage of us he was there to solve it. One old guy asked 100 Mad just for taking pictures with the pigeons. When we went to the plaza. Simo helped to get our money back. I recommend this tour.

To be clear: this is a queue jump and not much else. The ticket you get is the regular one you'd get waiting in line, but with a £10 surcharge so you don't have to wait, as the lines can be long. I have to say I found the meeting directions very confusing. While the guide was nice when we met him, I had super vague directions from two different people about where to meet and little help. The first person said instructions would come the day of the visit, and they never did. When I asked where the guide was, they suggested I WhatsApp a picture of what I look like to the guide, which I was not a big fan of. Better directions would have been the exact meeting point and where the guide would be waiting. Instead, it was to meet at 'the cash office at the mosque'. At the mosque, they told me there is no such thing. It was poorly organised in that respect and the time I spent waiting and finding the guide could have been spent in line getting the exact same ticket for less - therefore I can't recommend this to others. The version that includes hotel pickup may be less confusing. Inside, the mosque is of course beautiful. The guide we had was OK, but it's an official one supplied by the mosque, which you can't visit without (unless you specifically purchase a private tour).

The mosque tour was amazing! Mohammed was very efficient in getting us tickets and into the mosque. He also took a lot of amazing photos for us and so friendly!

The Hassan 2 Mosque sits out over the water in Cassablanca. The huge structure is a wow moment as you round the corner and it first comes into view. The beautiful marbles and plaster that make up the building glow under the Moroccan sun. The huge doors weighing tonnes are made of titanium and bronze are a work of art. The inside of the mosque is just as stunning. With the clever water feature and opening roof making it extra special. The ground floor was what I thought was extra special. The area where the people wash before prayers had beautiful flower shaped fountains made of marble for water to cascade down and wash in The visit was extra special as it is one of the few mosques no Muslims can enter

Tour was cancelled with 15 minutes notice just as we arrived at the meeting point inside the mosque with no real explanation (something about an email from someone to someone else to say all tours were cancelled). Our five-hour round trip from Marrakech was a complete waste of time: the highlights were being ripped off by a "Petit Taxi" that only got 200 of the 380 dirham he demanded for the drive from the train station to the mosque. A proper taxi took us back for 100 dirham, but spoiled the rest of the day because he wouldn't acknowledge that the clocks had changed for Ramadan and persuaded my wife that we didn't have time to visit the Morocco Mall! At least the trains were comfortable and on time - with some spectacular views.

I went to the Mosque as part of another Viator group. The guide with Viator (Mohammed L) was great, the mosque was beautiful, but the local guide who spoke “English” was more interested in showing his language skills to others in the group by speaking in Portuguese to the two people instead of the whole group (at least 12-15 people. It had nothing to do with this particular service, but a tip to others visiting the mosque.

It was a great experience. We learned a lot from our tour guide. He was very friendly and his English was very good. He uncovered every aspect and history of the development of the mosque. I was intrigued by the designs, architecture and techniques used in creating this majestic building.

The mosque itself is amazing and well worth a visit. The reason that s only gets 3 stars is the guide for the English speakers was off putting because he was very difficult to understand, seemed anxious to get the tour over with, made quite a few jokes that only he could appreciate — basically he just didn’t offer any value. Disappointing.

Breathtaking place, I am truly amazed by the architecture. Our driver Simu took care of our luggage and gave us a tour through the city, he drove us to breakfast and then dropped us off where we wanted to.

The ride to the mosque was very comfortable. We were picked up from our airbnb and dropped off at our destination without any problem. During the tour we learned slot about the mosque.

Simo was a great guide! He drove us to the mosque, got our tickets for the tour, answered questions we had about it and the city, took us on a mini tour of the city by car afterwards, offered to take (and took very good) pictures, and was all around knowledgeable! He was on time and waited for us after the tour. Couldn't have asked for a better guide.
