The Tour would be a very good tour except for our guide. I would not do it again if it was with our guide. Very unprofessional.

The Hassan II Mosque is a mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. It is the largest mosque in Africa, and the 3rd largest in the world. Its minaret is the world's second tallest minaret at 210 metres. Completed in 1993, it was designed by Michel Pinseau and built by Bouygues.
Home to the fashionable stretch of coastline known as La Corniche, Ain Diab is a vibrant, affluent part of town. Creperies, shawarma cafes, and posh French restaurants are among the dining options, while trendy nightclubs keep the party going until dawn. Alongside a cluster of upmarket beach clubs, Plage Lalla Meryem and Plage Ain Diab are long expanses of sand backed by snack bars and ice cream parlors.
Anfa is a leafy, upmarket residential neighborhood between the beachfront and the city center, with villas set in gardens. It’s known for Hippodrome Casa-Anfa, a racecourse founded in 1912, with a covered grandstand and a sandy, oval-shaped track. Bounded by the racetrack, Royal Golf Anfa is a lush 9-hole course. International brands and eateries with sea views are the main draws at nearby Anfaplace Shopping Center.
This is an interesting church in downtown Casablanca. Outside the church is a small grotto dedicated to Mary.
A masterpiece of Islamic architecture, surrounded by picturesque orange groves and elaborate water features
Mahkamat al-Pasha is an administrative building constructed 1941-1942 in the Hubous neighborhood of Casablanca, Morocco. The complex serves or has served as a courthouse, residence of the pasha, parliamentary reception hall, and jail.
Also known as New Medina, Habbous is packed with open-air markets or souks where shoppers bargain for clothes, fabrics, and Moroccan staples like olives and dried fruits. Traditional patisseries sell almond pastries and stuffed dates. Open for guided tours, Mahkama du Pacha is a Moorish-style government building with mosaics, courtyards, and carved cedar ceilings. Jogging paths skirt flower beds in Parc Murdoch.
Mohammed V Square is located south of United Nations Square, to which it is connected by Avenue Hassan II. Embellished by a large central fountain and dotted with palm trees, it is lined by the courthouse and the prefecture, whose tower looks down from a height of 50m.

The guide was really knowledgeable and helpful. It seemed rushed at times but we went to many places so it's worth it. The tansfer was convenient as well.
Not great. Didn't see three of the places shown and the guide just acted like a photographer. When it came to tip time the true colours came out. Tried to bully me into giving more of a tip even tho I gave a generous amount
We booked this as a private tour through Viator and it couldn’t have been better, we were picked up early at our hotel by a super friendly guide called Sila Azzeddine, try to ask for his name when booking as he and his driver made this a five star experience. At no point on this tour did we feel pressured into going anywhere against our will, we visited the Hassan ll mosque (admission extra), the coastal and beachfront area, the old original walled medina, browsed the shops and stalls of our choice and asked Sila for a recommended lunch where we could sample a tagine which did not disappoint. Along the way we learnt of Casablanca’s history and the hopes and plans for the future all at a calm and leisurely pace, highly recommended.
First clue I should have noted was handwritten sign with name. Second clue, 8:30am show time only to sit for 30 minutes departing until 9:00am. Third clue, guide provided confusing information. The description stated entrance fee to mosque was included. We had to pay when we arrived. Expected guide to enter and provide tour. We we left at entrance without any instruction and guide disappeared. We had to figure it out on our own. Clearly, tour was paid to take us to certain location, understand but don't do the pressure sales. We were taken to a restaurant, which took an inordinate amount of time to bring food. What was scheduled for 4 hours was nearly 7. Not what I signed up to do. I will say the van driver was patient. I did not enjoy this experience at all.
This is by far the tour from hell. We booked a private tour, at 11pm the night before we were told there were 2 additional people added to our tour. We were picked up an hour late and there were 12 people. We were left behind at the mosque and was picked back up 1.5hrs later and never got to complete the tour. The guide took us to his friends to buy rugs and didn’t let us buy anything in the market place. We were lied to and left behind twice and didn’t get a refund. Unbelievable!
The Casablanca tour through Viator was very disappointing. We chose this tour with your company because we’ve had positive experiences with it in the Baltic and more. However, this tour started out poorly and went downhill. At the beginning,my husband had to search for the vehicle and driver. We were at the entrance well before the meeting time. Other drivers were standing in front with names of passengers, not ours. The van was finally located with 3 names on the front dash board. Other passengers in our van had the same issue. The guide joined our party of 10 only after we left the grounds of the port. He did not introduce himself or the driver. He spoke English but did not communicate well with the group throughout the tour….limited information about the sites, limited directions of where to go or where to meet. He did not have tickets for all of us to enter the Mosque. My husband and I paid for our own even though the entrance fee was supposed to have been included in the tour. The guide did not enter the mosque. No information was provided except what we overheard from other tour groups. He did not keep count of all the passengers. One couple was left behind at one point. We were whisked through the Medina and told not to shop, only to be taken to a rug store of which none of us had any interest. He didn’t ask about needs of the passengers, such as water or bathroom breaks. We were finally taken to a restaurant which had a beautiful setting, but food preparation required an extended amount of time. This would have been fine except we all told the guide that we had to be back at the ship by a specific time. We barely had time to eat once food arrived. This chaotic and stressful tour seemed like it was lead by a boot leg guide. I don’t know if we’ll ever use Viator again.
The Mosque was very fascinating. But read the small print, the cost of entry is extra. The rest of the tour wasn’t that interesting and while it’s always part of the deal the forced sit down for a rug and then a spice presentation is always uncomfortable.
OK tour of Casablanca with main sites covered. Well meaning tour guide. The Medina was the highlight
Amine is our tour guide and his English is fluent and passion with all explanations. The views of casablanca are nice. Thanks Amine for treating us sugarcane juice too. Driver Elias is slow and safe. Thanks to this and I met friends throughout the trip.
Great guide and driver. Mosque tour was comprehensive and very informative. Many short stops to get feel of city. Very nice lunch on waterfront.
We had an amazing day exploring Casablanca with Viator Tours. The guide was very friendly and brought us to the many beautiful sights of Casablanca. Well worth it, thank you.
Friendly guide & driver Informative and safe Punctual and polite Visited all the places I wanted to go
Our tour guide Arafa was amazing . He showed us all there is to see . He was generous with his knowledge about the city . He showed us the highlights of Casablanca . Highly recommend .
The guide made the trip more interesting , the history knowledge was amazing , very pleasant excursion
It was a terrific tour of Casablanca. Exactly what I wanted. The guide was knowledgeable friendly and very funny.
Booking no. 924026982 & 924027056 We had been victimized of a bait-and-switch scheme. Tour was not private as contracted with unwanted stops…wasted lots of time (Tour operator combined our group with many other strangers, whom also been duped into thinking it was their private tour, into 1 large “shared” bus)
Over the time of the excursion we had constantly the feeling that the mood of our guide got lower and lower. Expect of the visit of the Hassan II Moschee, the entrance must be paid extra, the other places are not that special and our guide explained not that much. But he invited us to a carpet and a cosmetic dealer which was not written in the description and we did not liked it.
Very knowledgeable and friendly, could recommend to anyone. We had a great time, places are good, people friendly
very good guide who thought ahead and got us into mosque before everyone else. Covered everywhere we wanted to see. Good driver also.
This incredible tour included the Hassan II mosque, shopping, sampling and an excellent tour guide! This was perfect for my one day in Casablanca and I didn’t miss anything! If you only have one day, or a morning in Casablanca, you absolutely need to do this!
Our guide toke us to 2 different places to visit and both were closed, we wanted to go to a local market and that also didn't happen. We were only there 1 day so we were very disappointed. He was arrogant too.
Travel Gateway - Easy Transfers (both the same company) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER. I booked an English tour for Casablanca and added another part to include the city of Rabat to make it a complete day. Before I get into this highly negative review, I must say that I am not a novice traveller as I have spent the last 50 years traveling and have taken tours all over the world and have travelled to 75 countries around the world and had tour guides of all categories. See the other ratings I’ve given previously. First the good, the tour I had of Rabat, Morocco was given by a knowledgeable guide who was concerned with showing me the highlights of his city of which he was justifiably proud to display. He was pleasant and tried to give me a good overview of the city and its beauty. His English, while not perfect, was understandable and he was quite pleasant to walk around as it seemed that he personally knew half the city’s population. The tour guide of Casablanca was exceedingly casual in his cut-off shorts, tennis shoes, and a t-shirt, so he was less professional and I viewed him as a replacement that was hastily thrown in as it was quite obvious that the original guide was no-where to be found. Now the really negative; the driver was one of the worst I have encountered ANYWHERE. When picking someone up, have the car clean and be ready before you pick up your customer. Our first stop about 100 meters from my hotel pick up was at a gas station to clean the windows. Most frustrating was that he could not get it into his head that I didn’t speak French despite me telling him; no French. I speak four languages; French is not one of them. Additionally, he kept pointing out senseless items of “his interest” that meant nothing for me nor any tour for that matter. Ikea and car dealerships are not a good item of interest on an international tour of your city. While waiting for the lost tour guide in Casablanca, the driver took me to a restaurant to watch the people eat. I ended up walking out. For the tour company, if you are going to pick someone up for an English speaking tour, have a driver who speaks English or at least someone who doesn’t drive 160 KPH (not an estimation I saw the speedometer), while talking and looking down at his cell phone. Repeatedly I told him, put the phone down and look at the road. He should not be giving me a tour, translating on his smart phone, and driving all at the same time. I have spent time in taxis all over the world and never felt my life endangered as I was on this trip. While it was only one accident we were in, which was only him backing up into someone, I felt lucky when I arrived anywhere. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Despite initial confusion regarding pickup time and a first guide/driver who spoke no English and very limited French, it all worked out. Our principal guide, Mousa, spoke many languages (including excellent English) and gave us over 2.5 hours a great introduction to the sights of Casablanca, but importantly, also to Moroccan history and culture. We did not do the tour inside the Mohammed VI mosque which led to the initial confusion on when Mousa would join us. Ask for Mousa; he is excellent!
Had the best time ever with our guide and driver! Would highly recommend! We got to see so many areas that we would not have been able to see and figure out on our own. We only had one day in Casablanca before heading to Rabat for a few more days.

Our guide was exceptional. We truly enjoyed the tour with a private driver and a very knowledgable guide. Amongst other places we were taken, we visited the Hassan II Mosque which was well worth the visit.

Our tour guide and pick up were excellent, He was waiting at agreed spot and spoke very good English, timing was off for tour of Mosque and should be notes on proper attire for women to enter a Mosque, which did cause us the delay which led to us not going inside. The rest of the city is just good, market was fun don't let them take you to their cronies shops. food market was fun, wew did not eat or drink in this town

This tour provided a good overview of Casablanca. The guide did mention repeatedly how this isnt a touristy city and there isnt much to see, but that wed cover what there was. The visit to the Hassan II mosque was definitely the highlight absolutely breathtaking. We didnt go into the mosque as we hadnt brought enough money wanting to keep funds back for a tip, so be aware of that cost if you take this tour. I think it was 120 DH per person to enter the mosque.

Our visit to the medina market was also impressive. So many vendors, but so few customers it seemed! Definitely meant we were a centre of attention, as tourists. This was clearly not peak season for tourists as we saw pretty much no others.

Ricks Café was okay we had never seen the Casablanca movie so there was nothing for us to recognize. We also visited a special exhibition which was just a few vendor carts selling food. The medina was far more activity.

The low part of the tour was definitely when we were taken to a carpet store and a sales guy tried to pressure us into buying a carpet. Having gone through this miserable experience in Turkey before, it was certainly not appreciated. The sales guy then got annoyed when we said we were interested in none of the carpets, and he complained about us to our tour guide. He spoke Arabic but it was angry with lots of hand gestures, all in front of us. Not cool. We were then taken across the road to a medicinal herb-type shop but the sales guy there was much more apathetic.

The tour guide Sami was very friendly but we unfortunately found his accent extremely difficult to understand. I only caught about 50 of what he said. On a few occasions when I really wanted to know what hed said I had him repeat something several times, but I still couldnt understand. So unfortunately we missed out on a fair bit on this tour.

We still had fun though, and were glad we did it. We will book with Viator again.

A nice tour of Casablanca with Sila and the driver Mehdi. Interesting to visit the city in a fun way and with local people. Advised!!
On a pu découvrir plusieurs coins. J’ai adoré
Hassan Mosque2 well manage Own tourist calm on Atlantic Sea with a Flowered and long ledge, beautiful view
We spent an exceptional day in Casablanca. Our guide and driver were perfect. Very interesting comments, total availability. Both were really looking to show us as many places in the city as possible without counting their time. We would warmly recommend them around us.
One of the very few mosques in the world and the only one (in operation) visitable in Morocco for non-Muslims whose visit deserves 3*. The building is magnificent and the guide showed us in an exciting way. Take information on the days and times of visits, it is not visitable at the time of prayers. It is equally impressive at night.
Great! For the money you get a driver and a guide. And he makes the whole thing very friendly and relaxed and also likes to respond to customer requests. Over real 4 hours of time. You not only see something of Casablanca, but also learn a lot about Morocco itself. Abdul really has a very good background knowledge. There is NO attendance at any sales event! Yes, stop, sorry, in the end it's a patisserie. With the best pastry I've ever eaten! You can try everything and the prices are very moderate. A great gift for home. So no tourist trap... We got to know Morocco and Casablanca in many facets. And when we come back we do a tour with Abdul and Mustafa again...
