Our guide, YaYa, was wonderful. He was interesting, funny and very knowledgeable. YaYa helped me appreciate Morocco by explaining both it's culture and history. I would definitely recommend this tour with him as a guide.

Wonderful experience wandering the streets & learning about the sights, history & culture of Casablanca & Morocco. Yahya’s knowledge was extensive & he took us to a special spot with live local music as well.
Yahya gave an excellent tour. It was a good pace, very informative and covered varied areas. The mint tea break was a welcome stop.
THE BEST TOUR ive been in Morocco. Yahiya (hope i spelled it right) is also a fellow traveller thus he knows whats best for visitors. Tour didnt feel rushed, we were able to cover many places and it was also very coordinated. Top it all off, he went over and beyond to secure us some football tickets later that night! The best experience. Also a tip: he offers other tours so might want to check with him prior to booking other tours ahead. I completely trust him! Thanks Yahiya.
Loved ths tour, our guide was brilliant and lots of walking with a nice coffee break half way. Our guide also had great recommendations for food for all sorts, he is obviously a very experienced guide and happy to help with any questions. Would recommend 👌
Yahya showed us the the main sights in the city center, and we had great chats about the Moroccan life and culture.
Yahya did a fantastic job, ensuring we saw all the highlights of Casablanca! He shares his vast knowledge of Moroccan history and culture in an upbeat and friendly manner. If you are looking for a great way to see Casablanca on foot, this tour is for you!!
Yahya was our guide…he was cheerful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He has much travel experience. We enjoyed our tour.
YOU CAN TRUST YAHYA 100 %%% ok, So I did not want to do the typical cruiseline tours. Too pricey and too boring and too many people. So, we booked directly with him and we spoke on whats app for about three months off and on before he met us "on time" at the location when we got of the ship. We did not have a ton of time so we went directly to the government shops to get all of the Argon oil and other amazing items I had studied carefully to be sure of exactly what i wanted. I literally dropped a grand in the shop as it was the highlight of my entire 15 day cruise. He took us to the most amazing locations, and was a great photographer. His brother, our driver was also amazing. oh, and then we spent TWO HOURS in the Hammam.. massages, oils, heaven!! we got tons of photos, he was like having a photographer, shopper guide and driver all in one.. Please Trust him. He's funny, honest, quick, and guess what? My husband left his rings, including wedding ring in the hamman. OMG.. so, he notified us he was visiting NY and we live in California. He literally called me until he reached me, and I was able to have my friend meet him in Manhattan and he returned his two rings and wedding ring! He was SO KIND.. He also brought us a gift and more oils.. yay. Please trust him and book him. This is an honest review.. TEN STARS!!! Niki MacDuff, Real Estate Broker in California..
I really enjoyed the walking trip with Yahya. He was friendly and informative
My tour guide, Yahya was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It had rain in the early hour and I asked if I could change the day and he suggested changing the time when the rain would stop. We agreed. Honestly, I don’t think I could have done this by myself and see everything within the time period. Yahya made my Casablanca experience very memorable.
I recently did the Casablanca Walking Tour with Yahya, and it was fantastic! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much insightful information about all the sites we visited. Experiencing Casablanca through the eyes of a true local is such a wonderful way to discover the city—you really can’t go wrong with this tour. Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed this walking tour and had the best guide named Yahya. He was very knowledgeable and provided interesting insights about the history and life in Casablanca and Morocco. We stopped for the local tea and bread which was a wonderful break. We did this tour on our first day in town which gave us a great overview of the city and helped us get around during the rest of our stay. I highly recommend this tour and if you can get Yahya for a guide you will be very pleased!
Jahjah was a terrific, thorough tour guide. He walked us around the city of Casablanca detailing all the historical areas, architecturally designed buildings and places to experience authentic Moroccan tea and food. He also was very freindly, helpful and always ready to answer our questions
Yayha gave us a great walking tour of Casablanca. He is very knowledgeable about Casablanca. We were only 2 of us on the tour. We went at a good pace and stopped a couple of times for local food. And many times for pictures.
Yahya was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and energetic, really made Casablanca come to life! Very kind and attentive, even taught us a few important Arabic words including habbi, which is a term of endearment 🙏
Yahya was great. He reached out ahead our tour to ask if we wanted to tour inside the mosque first as there was a time limit on on that tour. He shared with us the history about the city, the country as well as the cultural difference between the different ethnicity groups. We learned a lot from his tour. Will definitely recommend him!!! My 11-year old also enjoyed his tour a lot.
It was good. Our tour guide was good, but he didn’t always allow time for pictures. He was so very kind to buy us waters and paid the costumed bell ringers for us to take a picture. He was good.
Nasira was my tour guide for a short but impactful visit to Casablanca. She is a friendly tour guide that made me feel at ease immediately. Her ability to bring peace and tranquility to a tour was only matched my her knowledge of the area, the culture and the city of Casablanca. She tailored my tour to fit exactly what I needed and wanted. She even suggested experiences and locations that I didn’t know I would appreciate seeing. Deep knowledge of a place and a genuine since of belong are what make private tours worthwhile. Nasira has those two qualities in heaps! Thank you, Nasira!
The guide was knowledgeable, personable, and presented the information clearly. Enjoyed the walking tour
The guide waited patiently for us for 70 minutes due to the cruise ship being 90min late to disembark. He (Yaya), communicated through WhatsApp and waited. We walked for 5 miles and learned a lot from him. He showed us the modern, french, old portions of Casablanca. He also treated us to Morrocan bread and water with the tea which pepped me up enough to finish the tour! Nov. Was a perfect time weather wise to go. He also helped us find and order couscous. And got us back to the cruise shuttle bus with 45 minutes to spare! I recommend him as a tour guide.
Our guide Boudahra was absolutely awesome. Kind, incredible energy and just wanted to please us and show us as much about his country that he loves with all his heart! This was scheduled to be a a four hour walking tour. When we met Boudahra, we explained that my wife had a bad ankle and we didn’t think we could do more than a couple hours. He immediately called some one and 5 minutes later a Mercedes Van pulled up and we were taken to every highlight we could have asked for in Casablanca. Boudahra, I hope you see this review, now how you touched our hearts and know that you were the highlight of our trip. Keep smiling and brightening the world my brother!!
We had an amazing experience on this tour. Yahya was an excellent guide, super friendly with detailed knowledge of the city. The tour was lots of walking but at a great pace so we never felt rushed with time to rest at places as well. A great way to see the city as well as some of the sites you may not have known about before. Highly recommend.
We selected the van tour due to my Mum’s mobility issues. We had a brilliant day with Ahmed, he is an excellent tour guide. He was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. We were taken to all the best sights around Casablanca and Ahmed allowed us to take our time looking at the souks to shop. He gave us lots of hints and helpful information. We had a fantastic day, thank you!
The highlights of Casablanca central are well covered with the help of a knowledgeable guide. Yahya is amenable to adapting the walk, while still keeping to the time frame and making sure we saw everything. Thoroughly enjoyable. Bring lots of water and wear comfortable shoes!
Great tour of “downtown” Casablanca - friendly, easy to understand and lots of Morocco knowledge! Saw and learned a lot, doing an easy walking tour.
Yahya is an excellent tour guide, full of local knowledge, thehistory of Casablanca and great places to eat. He was exceedingly generous with his time . Also, he organised local transport and made dinner reservations for the group.
I cannot rate today's walk highly enough. Yahya was a delight to spend the day with. He looked after us well and treated us to some Moroccan delights. You can see how much he loves his city/country and his enthusiasm is infectious. His status as a tour guide also meant we didn't have to join the long queue for tickets into the mosque- he had them for us in minutes. He was also keen to give us recommendations on where to eat in Casablanca we took him up on one of them and did not regret it. Thanks Yahya, we hope to meet you again on our travels!
The walking tour with Yahya was fabulous. Yahya was very knowledgeable and conveyed this knowledge in a way that was engaging and informative. He has a great sense of humour and passion for his country! This was the best experience if you want to see Casablanca through a local’s eyes. I would highly recommend Yahya and this walking tour.
Yahya is an excellent and friendly guide who works hard to make sure the group is well looked after on and outside of the tour. He has lots of knowledge and experience of Casablanca and Moroccan culture and I thoroughly recommend his tour to anyone interested.
This tour was a great experience. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable from start to finish. Yahya was very knowledgeable but also had a great sense of humor that made it feel like a walk with a friend. It was reassuring to see how many locals knew and greeted him. We made a couple of stops for "Moroccan whiskey," otherwise known as mint tea, and he even helped me capture some great photos at various landmarks. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Casablanca, especially if you're traveling solo and want to feel welcome and safe while getting a genuine feel for the city.
Knowledgeable guide who takes great care of you whole walking through many interesting areas of Casablanca
Yahhya was fantastic. Fun and friendly. Very informative as well. We have a new friend in Casablanca. Highly recommended
We struck gold when we booked onto one of Yahya’s walking tours of Casablanca. We visited Casablanca as a stop on a western Mediterranean and Morrocco cruise. The cruise line (Seabourn) didn’t offer any walking tours; only panoramic coach trips of Casablanca and we wanted to stroll the streets and get more of a feel of the place rather than the aseptic view from a motor coach window. We booked online Yahya’s walking tour before we left home for our cruise holiday and arranged to meet at 10.00 am outside the Sacred Heart Cathedral on the appointed day. The day before our tour, Yahya made contact via WhatsApp and scheduled a revised start time of 09.00 due to the expected high temperatures. Very helpfully, Yahya agreed to meet us directly off the cruise shuttle bus and he patiently waited for us as the bus was delayed. This act was typical Yahya: he was showed empathy, concern and patience throughout our entire tour. Our group totalled seven (we didn’t the others) – after his introduction, he bought each of us a bottle of water and later a breakfast of delicious M’semen (Moroccan "bread") and refreshing mint tea. This was a real unexpected treat and between the group we had a great mixture of sweet and savoury fillings. My favourite was cheese but my wife raved about the Nutella variant. The tour took in The Arab League Park, an urban park in Casablanca, consisting of alleys lined with fan palms and promenades with date trees. Yahya was a willing photographer, composing each location carefully to obtain the perfect holiday picture. The tour continued at a steady, comfortable pace visiting (amongst others) the Ville Art-Déco, Marché Central Casablanca (the fresh fish on display was fantastic), the Old Medina (narrow alleyways, hustle and bustle and lots of cats), Mosquee Ould El Hamra and Rick’s Café. As our ship was docked nearby, we headed back to our ship from here but Yahya continued the tour with the rest of the group to visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque. I should add that Yahya factored in to the route several toilet breaks in really clean WCs for those that needed it. We loved Yahya and his walking tour. We learned a lot about Casablanca, the Arab world, Berbers, markets, dates, football (Yahya is football mad), Art Deco architecture, Rialto cinemas, Moroccan Watermen and most importantly how to say a few words especially ‘yes’ and ‘no’ in Arabic. Let me summarise: Yahya is a great tourist guide; he has excellent English and lovely personality. He is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about sharing his knowledge in an engaging and memorable way. He made our walking tour of Casablanca fun, informative and very enjoyable.
Yayha was INCREDIBLE. A super personable, professional and passionate local expert and guide who was incredibly kind AND entertaining, our day was equal parts informative and fun as we strolled around different parts of the city (I would not have found myself), it felt like more like spending the day with a friend rather then being on an official tour. Yayha's knowledge of the city was impressive but I was more impressed at the in-tuneness he had with our group, tailoring the tour ever so slightly (and on the spot) to our specific interests and wishes. He went above and beyond during the experience...and also after. I seriously cannot recommend a tour with Yayha enough if you are ever in Casablanca. Thank you again for everything!!!
Excellent experience, with a guide who tailored the tour to ensure it was a great day. Yahya took me to the highlights of Casablanca, and shared his knowledge, experience and insights. Recommend this to anyone visiting.
Highly recommend this tour! He gave us so much information on the sights and spent extra time to make sure we all knew where we were headed next. There were also quite a few included drinks and snacks along the way. Loved this experience!
Yahya was an excellent guide! He was informative and took us on a comprehensive walking tour of Casablanca starting from Sacred Heart Cathedral and ending at Hassan II Mosque. Along the way we stopped to sample local treats. At the end he pointed us to a very good restaurant so we could hang around to view the mosque at night. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend taking Yahya’s walking tour of Casablanca. We saw almost all of the major sites and learned a lot, including some basic Arabic words and phrases that will be useful for the rest of the tour of Morocco. Yahya is a very thoughtful guide who is good at captivating his audience. The tour finishes at the Hassan II Mosque. Yahya showed us where to buy the tickets and gave advice on the best timing to avoid the crowds. Thanks to him I had a perfect day in Casablanca.
Excellent knowledgeable guide with the best local expertise. Yahya helped me plan the trip, gave me really good tips before I arrived and provided top class guiding. I was very lucky to have Yahya as an official tour guide! A real expert. The tour is superb (bring walking shoes / boots) visiting old and new Casblanca. Morocco is a wonderful place to visit as a tourist. Yahya made a great trip just perfect! Thanks for the hospitality! Highly recommend. Outstanding official guide!
My original guide was very nice. I requested a change to the tour and he had me join with another guide Achraf. It was a very personalized and thorough tour. Achraf answered our many questions and we went all over the old parts of the city. His English was very good as well. Worked out perfectly for me.
Great guide, friendly, knowledgeable with excellent sense of humor. Made an extra effort to show best view points of Casablanca.
Yahya is excellent in what he does. To me he is not a guide who is after the tour guide fee but he is a tour guide who has the burning passion on what he does and the profession he has taken. He showed us the important and insta worthy tourist spots in Casablanca, he is polite, energetic, very knowledgeable of the history of Casablanca and Morocco in general. He arranged for our 7 days trip from Fes, Chefchaouen, Tangier, Marrakesh, Casablanca and he keeps on checking us how's the trip going. Yahya deserves a 10/10 excellent customer service. We will definitely get in touch with Yahya again should we decide to visit Morocco again in the future
Yahya is a super guide. We travel with him from Casablanca airport to all the major cities. He gave us minute information about the history of, culture and traditions. We are highly impressed by his knowledge. He is very warm hearted, kind and generous. We enjoyed with him as he was with us for 15 days.
Great tour and Yahya was really helpful as I was travelling solo and it was during Ramadan so things were quieter. Nice to walk around even in the rain!
Yahya made the most of frankly limited touristic interest in Casablanca but it was the amazing advice and support beyond the limits of the tour that justifies 5 stars. This included regular contact before and after the tour, arranging airport transfers, getting us into the mosque tour after the walking tour and arranging a day trip to Rabat. Relentlessly cheerful and positive with a 'can do' approach. Highly recommended. Thanks Yahya.
Had a good time with Yahya . Very professional and give a lot of information. Take care of his customers. I recommend him.
Yahya was our Tour Guide in Casablanca. He reached out to us in advance to introduce himself and gave us his WhatsApp number, which was smart and reassuring. He really knows Casablanca – history, events, development, architecture, languages, and culture. We booked via Viator and Tour Casablanca for the “ Casablanca and Morocco Shared Walking Tour with Licensed Guide.” Many of the places we visited new him, and he was great in getting us a taxi back to our hotel. Yahya is a top professional, and we highly recommend him. If you need to see and really learn about Casablanca, Yahya is the Guide to ask for. 5 Stars!
I had a delightful experience, nassera was an extremely professional and informative tour guide had a delightful experience.
I had the pleasure of experiencing a day tour in Casablanca with an outstanding guide who truly made the city come alive! From the moment we met, it was clear that they were not just a guide, but a passionate storyteller with an incredible depth of knowledge. Every stop on the tour was enriched with fascinating historical context and insightful details about Casablanca’s culture, architecture, and history. What really stood out was their ability to answer every question with enthusiasm and clarity, providing valuable insights that went beyond the usual tourist information. They expertly balanced visiting popular sites, like the Hassan II Mosque, Ricks cafe, with hidden gems that you wouldn’t typically find on your own. Their warmth and friendly nature made us feel so comfortable, and it felt like we were exploring the city with a local friend who was eager to share the best of Casablanca. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience and a deeper understanding of the city, I highly recommend this tour. It was truly a memorable day! This tour wasn’t just a sightseeing experience—it was an immersive journey into the heart of Casablanca. If you’re visiting, don’t miss the opportunity to explore with this guide. Their knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime! As it was my Birthday on 1st January and I was on a solo trip - Yahya made it truly special day for me and gave a memorable sightseeing and unforgettable memory for lifetime.
