Painless, seamless travel from start to finish. We are longtime independent travelers and this was our first tour package, and I'm so glad we chose Tilila. Having all of the logistics--hotels, ground transport, local tours, and day trips handled by Tilila allowed us to save the stress of do-it-yourself travel and concentrate on enjoying ourselves. Besides being fun, flexible, and a font of info on his culture, our driver Tawfiq gave invaluable advice throughout on how to organize our days, while leaving us in charge of our itinerary. Just great.
We have travelled extensively all over the world but Tilila Travel really stood out as a premier tour company. They tailored our trip exactly as we asked and the lodging selections were impeccable. We were so very pleased!! Along the tour, whenever we wanted to make a few changes, they immediately agreed and changed the day's agenda to accommodate our desires. It was a dream of a trip that we would never have been able to organize or plan on our own.
We recently returned from 2 weeks touring with Tilila Travel and our amazing driver/guide Youssef. This 2 week itinerary allowed us time to explore each destination and not just pass through en route to the next. It is a big country and getting from A to B can take a while. We were delayed a day due to a missed connection but we got to see some highlights of Casablanca before picking up our planned itinerary which was nice. Youssef was an extremely safe driver and a packing master! I know people question whether to self drive or pay to have a driver but this is a really convenient and hassle free option given the parking situation in the cities, frequent police checkpoints and enforced speed limits everywhere. He also ensured we had all accommodation and local guides sorted, checking in regularly to make sure we were OK. We threw a million questions at him as well and he shared such interesting insights that we would not have learned otherwise. Being December/January we had a lot of different weather including heavy rain and snow which lead to a detour through the Atlas mountains. It was invaluable having local knowledge for this and hunting out great eating spots and coffee. We didn't want a cookie cutter holiday package. We wanted to eat local (not just the tourist restaurants) and have time to independently explore our destinations. The itinerary is flexible so after chatting with Mohamed we adjusted some days and added in a few activities but also had the ability to change/adapt plans on the go. We can recommend the wine tasting at Villa Volubilia. We also booked some other activities independently but you have the opportunity because the itinerary does not rush you! This was a fabulous trip and we can thoroughly recommend Tilila Travel to help plan your adventure.
Tilila travel planned our family of 4 a custom trip and everything was close to perfect. The hotels were beautiful, the local guides that they selected were all wonderful, and our driver Tawfiq was outstanding, taking care of every detail so that our trip would be smooth, safe, stress free, and filled with authentic experiences. I highly recommend this company for Morocco travel.
We reached out to Tilila Travels for organizing our 18-day customized trip across Morocco. We wanted to see the best of the country (which meant lots of travel), with good guides & a car with driver. As we were finalizing the tour operator for our trip, Mohamed from Tilila Travels was very fast & prompt in his responses with respect to our trip plan and agreeing on the same. His willingness to adapt to our travel plan was one of the reasons we chose Tilila as our travel partner. The trip started with a small blip when we landed in Casablanca airport, with some frantic moments before we found the car. We were very satisfied with the locations of the Riads chosen by Tilila, as per our ask. Most (but not all) of the Riads provided us with a very comfortable stay. The car provided for us was comfortable for the 2 of us & our luggage. Our driver for the trip, was experienced, punctual (always on time for pick-up), amiable, cautious on the road & mostly understanding of what we really wanted. We would have, however, welcomed a bit more flexibility or extra ideas/places suggestions during our travel days to ensure that our asks/trip related dreams are met! Thanks to Tilila, our journey through Morocco was a good one. Though he is very busy, Mohamed came to meet us in the Riad in Marrakech during our last afternoon of the tri; we were very happy meeting him! In hindsight, the trip plan made by us (source guidebooks & travel blogs) was not the most optimal as we realized during our trip that we could have easily skipped couple of places and focused more on other locations. This is where we think Tilila could have provided suggestions in the beginning (when we were finalizing) around alternative or additional locations to augment our trip plan. Being our local travel partner, these are value-adds we expect from the local tour companies. We recommend Tilila’s services. We plan to return to Morocco to other less seen locales & would certainly will reach out to Tilila, expecting travel advise from them.
I used to live in Morocco many years ago and wanted to revisit memorable places and old friends. My husband and I were excited to see that Rough Guides partners with local companies to provide customized trips. Mohamed from Tilila Travel was happy to discuss our needs and preferences. We settled on a package only about 5 weeks before our late October departure, which meant that he could not secure all of the hotels that we preferred, but most of the ones he booked were “good” to “excellent”. We spent 16 days touring the country with our wonderful driver, Ibrahim, who was especially careful, prompt and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better chaperone, who was happy to share his knowledge of Moroccan culture, great restaurants and side trips. The trip was well organized; we especially enjoyed the knowledgeable guides in the cities as well as the Merzouga desert experience (when my husband did not enjoy the camel ride, we were offered a 4X4 for the return trip, which was really fun). Mohamed checked in regularly by phone to make sure all was going well. Morocco is a gorgeous country with a very solid tourist infrastructure, and the hospitality that I experienced many years ago is still alive and well.
We have spent about two weeks in Morrocco following an itinerary that was planned by Mohammed. The whole trip has been fantastic. The hospitality of the Moroccan people has been exceptional. Friendly and helpful service is in every hotel, every restaurant, and shop we have visited. We have had an excellent driver, Fatah, who has been a joy to spend time with. If you want a trip that is well planned with excellent guides along the way you should work with Mohammed and Tilila Travel
From the first time I contacted Tilila Travel, Mohamed answered every email right away. I told him where we would like to go and what we wanted to see. He sent me a possible itinerary for 14 days including sights to see and options for places to stay. For the next several months I asked many questions and wanted changes made to the itinerary. Shortly before leaving I needed to add 2 more days to our itinerary because our arrival was going to be earlier than originally planned. Mohamed willingly made changes to the itinerary to accommodate our earlier arrival. Mohamed was always patient, ready to help and offered suggestions. He was very professional and easy to work with. Mohamed met us in Marrakech at a sidewalk cafe the last afternoon of our adventure. He wanted to know how our trip had been. We had two excellent drivers, Tawfiq and Mustapha. Both were so much fun and took care of all our needs. They took care of our luggage, checked us into the Riads or hotels and made sure we had everything we needed. If something came up we knew we could call them but we never needed to. They even bought a stool so that it would be easier for me to get into the van. They made sure we did everything that was on our itinerary and even had extra ideas on things to do or see if time permitted. They were always on time or early to pick us up. One of our best meals was the night we went with them to dinner at one of the local restaurants that they were going to go to. When they took us to the airport Tawfiq was able to get us in the terminal past the long line at the entrance. Also both were able to go into the terminal with us to help with the luggage and questions at the checkin counter. Tawfiq and Mustapha made our trip to Morocco special. It would not have been near as much fun without them. Thank you to Mohamed, Mustapha and Tawfiq for making Morocco such a memorable trip and sharing your culture with us. I highly recommend Tilila Travel.
Yassin is our driver and guide for the past two weeks. He is very friendly and attentive. Solid driving skills. Enjoyable trip overall. Thank you!
We had an amazing experience with Tilila Travel! When we decided to go to Morocco, we looked into a bunch of agencies and Tilila stood off not only with the best price but also with 10/10 reviews. They lived up to their reputation! Our trip was great, zero complaints! Mohammed was very open to adjust the plans to our budget and needs. Another remarkable point was Tawfiq, our driver. Very professional and super friendly. We were able to see everything we wanted, but on our own pace.
Not often does a trip leave you feeling humble and eager to learn more, but this journey did just that and more. We just returned from a 9-day tour with Tilala Tours, and our driver and guide, Mustapha and Tawfiq, were incredibly knowledgeable and always prioritized our comfort and safety. We are truly grateful to them for sharing their country with us; we learned so much about their religion, food, and culture. This trip ranks as the most memorable of our travels. Morocco is a destination where you genuinely experience the richness of the culture rather than just vacationing. Nine days only scratched the surface—we will definitely be back!
We just did a 14-day tour of Morocco the first two weeks of October 2024. This was a private tour for our group of family and friends, all eleven of us. Our trip was a wonderful and unforgettable experience, made even more special by the excellent service from Tilila Travel. Mohamed, our travel tour manager, provided seamless planning and ensured every detail was taken care of, creating a well-organized itinerary that allowed us to explore the best of Morocco. Aiman, our driver for the tour, was personable, reliable, and dependable, always making us feel comfortable and safe on the road. His local knowledge added depth to our experience, allowing us to truly appreciate the country’s culture and beauty. We couldn’t have asked for a better travel team. Highly recommended!
The tour operator, Mohamed, from Tilila Travel, was great to work with. The planning experience for our 11 persons private tour was like working with a long time friend. Mohamed was friendly, responsive and accommodating. He made sure to check from time to time when we were on our tour that everything was to our satisfaction. Itinerary was great and price was reasonable. Most of the riads we stayed at were beautiful. Special mention to Eden Boutique Hotel in Dades and Perlekech Riad and Spa both of which were very beautiful places to stay at. I have nothing but good words for our entire experience with Tilila travel. Our driver, Aymane was equally great. Very patient and accommodating. I highly recommend Tilila Travel to anyone who wants to book a tour of Morocco.
The tour with Tilila company was so great, organized, and with the best tour guide gays. The driver Hassan was very kind, responsible and he helped us in every situation we needed. We highly recommend this tour company, and we suggest to accept every advice they give.
I just completed the 15 day Best of Morocco and Imperial Cities offered by Tilila Travel. It was an eye opening and wonderful experience. My driver Mostapha was professional, always pleasant, and a great driver. I always felt safe. I feel like I saw Morocco with this itinerary. From the north, to the mountains, to the desert, through the south and to the Atlantic coast, I was absorbed in the culture and food of Morocco and the differences of each region with this itinerary. I stayed in Riads with warm, friendly, welcoming people and didn’t feel like a tourist. There was always excellent communication from the owner of this company, Mohammed, before, during, and after my trip, ensuring a personal, memorable, experience. I highly recommend this itinerary and most of all this tour company.
Outstanding service from our professional and patient driver cum guide, Karim during our recent adventure with Tilila Travel in Morocco! His expertise and warmth made our journey unforgettable. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge, making our experience truly special.
One of best trips we had! We explored almost all the major cities in Morocco and the Tilila travel has really planned & executed everything in a good way. We travelled with our 1.5 years old kid, but our trip went smoothly without any discomfort. Our guide Mr. Hassan, who travelled with us throughout the trip was very friendly and humble. He was also very co-operative and adjusts with our needs ( stopped whenever we asked, helped carrying our luggages). So it was a pleasant journey for us and I would definitely recommend this travels if you’re looking for a family vacation in Morocco😊😊
We recently returned from a 17 day private trip through Morocco with Tilila Travel. We contacted Mohamed who was helpful and very responsive as we set up the itinerary so we could arrive and depart from Casablanca. Our itinerary took us from Tangier in the north to Merzouga and the desert in the south. We were fortunate to have Khalid as our driver for the whole trip, and enjoyed many conversations and insights into the country as we drove between locations. It made the trip much more relaxing. There was a lot of distance to cover in our itinerary so it was beneficial to have a Khalid, who we could consider a friend, so we could watch the changing scenery, be flexible on timings and have no concerns over the route. Khalid was helpful with suggestions, meeting up with guides, checking in/out from our hotels/Riads, and was always on time. The hotels suggested by Mohamed were all excellent ranging from palatial Riads to quiet resorts. We were travelling in off season in January, so many hotels and restaurants were very quiet, but the weather was perfect throughout our trip. It is definitely a good time to visit Morocco. Mohamed also checked in with us during the trip to make sure we were fine and took the time to come and meet with us when we were in Marrakech, which was much appreciated. Can certainly recommend working with Tilila and Mohamed for your trip to Morocco.
Mr. Mohammed was so much interested in making sure our trip very comfortable and enjoyable. We were allotted with a van initially. The felt the passenger seats not comfortable as they were not inclining. We informed this matter to Mr. Mohammed. He arranged brand new Skoda 2023 model for us at the shortest possible delay. That too his brother himself brought to Fes and exchanged with our old van. The guides Mr. Abdollah and Aziz were so kind, friendly and down to earth. Both of them were good in speaking English. They wanted to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. The selection of accommodations were excellent. A tip to travelers: Never buy anything from herbal pharmacy in Fes old souk(like Argan oil, Eucalypus crystals or creams) The way they cheat customers is unbelievable. They charged Argan oil 3000 Moroccan dirhams per litre. which was available @450-500 in other cities. The leather Jacket collections are really good in Fes Old souk. We highly recommend this agency(Tililia tours)
I waited a few days after returning from a 14 day tour organized for me by Mohamed at Tilila Travel. I am lost for words that can express my gratitude. I want to share my experience with everyone in search of an honest, knowledgeable, professional, fair, flexible, responsible, detailed & trustworthy travel agent in Morocco. Instead of joining a group tour, I asked Mohammed to quote me a price for just one person, adding some stops, changing cities each day and upgrading my accommodations to 4-stars ratings; 3 star hotels are the norm on most group tour packages. I wanted 4 stars as this was my first visit to Morocco. Mohamed suggested a mix of Riads, Dars, resorts, Kasbahs, B&B’s & a even a Deluxe Tent in the Sahara. All were very good to excellent and perfectly deserving of a 4 star classification, except for the last night hotel which classified itself as 5 stars (Palais dei Princesses in Marrakesh). Maybe at one time it deserved 5 stars; but, no longer. In terms of room size, cleanliness of common areas, front desk staff behavior, restaurant, services & even the furniture, it is at MOST 3 stars; avoid it. There was a snag at the Casablanca hotel (average) caused by a hotel bookkeeping error & a rude check-in agent. As this was my first visit to Morocco I wanted to see as many cities as possible so that when I returned to Morocco I could visit my favorite cities. I knew my request presented a challenge as I would be asking the assigned driver to drive many hours each day. In just a few days Mohamed created a detailed proposal for an escorted solo tour which included a driver, comfortable vehicle, specialized guides in 4 of the stops, breakfasts each day & some dinners (included by Mohamed without me even asking). Mohamed also said I could alter the tour as I saw fit in case I was tired or changed my mind on a scheduled stop. The final step: agree on a price. As a guide, I used the cost (for one person) of an advertised group tour (adding the solo traveler supplement) & came up with what I thought would be a fair price. We went back & forth a few times & came to an agreement. I chose Tilila Travel because of the exceptional reviews others have submitted. All those 5-star reviews are accurate: Mohamed IS exceptional. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a perfectly planned, comfortable & safe tour of Morocco at a fair price. Whether you are a solo traveler like myself, or a small group of family or friends, ask Tilila Travel to make all arrangements. Each day, my driver Kamal would suggest a departure time and once I was in our van, Kamal took care of everything; from the time we began our day until the time we arrived at the overnight accommodation at which time I had personal/alone time; perfect. About my diver Kamal; In my opinion you want a driver to drive safely, to know the roads & the vehicle, to know exactly where we are at all times, to be familiar with every city or site on the itinerary, punctual, well-groomed, polite, organized, helpful (including translations where needed), flexible & able to communicate. Kamal fulfilled every requirement. Better yet, as I wanted to improve my intermediate French language skills, I chose to primarily communicate in French. Although Kamal could communicate in English, his French was excellent so I saw it as an opportunity to turn the tour into a 14 day French conversation class. Every day, I felt more comfortable speaking French although I would periodically turn to English when I got stuck. The entire experience, from planning to execution, was excellent. I found Mohamed to be responsible, kind, and most importantly, honest. He is one of the best travel agents I have encountered. In my opinion, you’ll be making the right decision if you ask him to organize your stay in Morocco. J'espère que vous apprécierez le Maroc autant que moi grâce à avoir choisi Tilila Travel.
Traveling Morocco needs at least 2 weeks to see and experience things. We loved this 15 days desert trip which took us to visit many interesting cities, eat morrocan foods, experiences many adventures, and understand Morrocan and Islamic cultures. The highlight of this tour was staying in Sahara desert camp for 2 nights. We did camel ride twice, 4x4 buggy ride. We enjoyed watching sunset, sunrise, beautiful dune, and stars and milkyway in the dark sky. From the making plan to finishing trip, Mohamed helped us, accommodated our requests and answered all questions in timely manner. With his help and flexibility, the trip was so smooth, and well planned geographically and meaningfully in every cities and activities. Thanks to our drive/guide Yassin, our 2 weeks trip became more than visiting cities. We talked, joked, laughed, and ate together. He was friendly and kind and took care of us for entire our trip. I traveled so many different places in many different ways, still this trip became one of the best experiences. I highly recommend this company (Tilila Travel) and this specific tour.
This tour was such a wonderful adventure for me and my family. Thanks to an incredible driver and the impeccable planning of the Tilila Travel agency, we were able to see and experience SO MANY things throughout all of Morocco. Our driver was truly amazing and not only catered to our every request with the utmost patience and flexibility, but also made some excellent recommendations along the trip and communicated flawlessly on our behalf since none of us can speak French or Arabic.
We are travel with three college age children and a senior citizen. Our tour guide is very dependable and flexible. He is very addictive, manage to find places that are interesting to all us. Always choose the restaurants with the clean WC. Everyone is super happy with our time in Morocco
Both Children and I loved this tour !!! Our driver was amazing!!! I have traveled a lot and he is by far the best driver ever !!! We had a 3 weeks stay over here in Morocco. It went by so fast !!! I will be back with friends for sure !!!
The organized trip to Morocco was a very enriching experience. The itinerary was well planned and allowed us to discover varied landscapes, from the lively medinas to the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains. The guides were welcoming and knowledgeable, which made the visits even more interesting. The overall organization was satisfactory, with comfortable accommodations and well-managed transportation. This stay allowed me to better understand Moroccan culture, its gastronomy, and the hospitality of its people. A refreshing trip that I highly recommend.
