From the planning of our tour with Mohamed of Tilila Travel, to the actual experience we (4 adults) had on site in Morocco with Tawfiq as our guide/driver, the entire interaction with Tilila was extremely wonderful! Mohamed planned a great itinerary, and adapted it readily to our preferences. He was accommodating, kind, and extremely responsive. His hotel and riad selections were top notch (all great quality and beautiful, with delicious meals), as were the specific guides that they arranged for exploring souks and providing general history and orientation. From the moment we met Tawfiq, we knew we were in great hands; he had us laughing and feeling relaxed and well taken care of. He is a skilled driver and guide, and was so informed and reliable, as well as flexible, warm and welcoming. We laughed a lot and enjoyed the whole ride with him. He gave good advice (such as about tipping porters, getting cash, avoiding the occasional street scams – though most people we met were open, honest ,and kind), and answered all sorts of questions we had. He broke up day trips with stops at interesting places, some with local guides, and even invited us to meet his family and share a meal! Other moments that stood out for us included our tour through the souk in Fes with Amal, and in Marrakech with Karim, our cooking class with Laila, the tile workshop, and the trip to the desert (magical). There was a range of experiences and sites, as the country's geography is quite varied and beautiful. We highly recommend Tilila Travel and will definitely work with them again on future trips!

We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful private tour arranged by Tilila Travel - a professional, responsive and reliable agent. Our driver, Mohamed Bahamou who accompanied us throughout the trip, was energetic, enthusiastic and thoughtful, which made our journey enjoyable and stress-free. Morocco is welcoming with many scenic sights - there is no time to feel bored! Our local guides in Fes, Ait Benhaddou and Marrakesh were knowledgable and provided historical context, cultural insights and local perspectives that enrich our visiting experience. The Riads we stayed were pleasant and certainly a unique experience. A delicious buffet breakfast awaits us every morning. Our Moroccan meals were both delightful and flavorful - we love the tagines we ate almost everyday, and Moroccan bread was excellent. Sahara Desert was the highlight of the trip - riding camels through the vast Erg Chebbi Dunes. The staff at the luxury camp were friendly and helpful, and the meals were wonderful. However, we were not prepared for the freezing cold night as there was no heating in the rooms. Nevertheless, the trip and stay in the desert was both a thrilling and memorable experience for us! Grateful for this trip filled with blessings and memorable moments!
Mohammed, the owner of Tilila Travel is professional, personable and trustworthy. He contacted me almost immediately when I signed for this 9-days with Aviator. He forwarded the list of hotels/riads we will be staying and offered us a choice to upgrade we prefer. We decided to go with the suggested hotels/riads and did not regret our decision. The choices of hotels riads were nice, breakfast and dinners were very good overall. The only experience was a disappointment is the spa/massage in It was recommended to us by Riad Dar Nadwa (the Riad we stayed in) It was unprofessional and the spa facility is very poor. We had Fatah as our driver, and he made every effort in making our journey fun and enjoyable. He even invited us to his family house to celebrate the Muslim new year. Seeing how the Morrocons live and culture was an experience - an added bonus to our trip. Fatah is a safe driver. Our guide Almal in Fes was amazing. She is very knowledgeable and knows just about everybody in the Medina. She made the tour very fun! I highly recommend using Tilila for your travels in Morroco. Thank you to Mohammed and Fatah for the great experience!!
We normally prefer to explore overseas destinations on our own, but for Morocco we decided that it would be less stressful to have a tour company take care of us and we are definitely glad we did! We just came back from a 7-day/6-night tour of Morocco arranged by Rough Guides through a local tour company called Tilila Travel. Overall it was a great experience. It was good value, the tour company and driver assigned to us were honest, trustworthy and responsive, and the hotels and local day guides that they arranged for us were all good recommendations. The tour company assigned us a driver named Tawfiq for the entire duration of the trip. Tawfiq is a terrific asset to the company. He is a safe and thoughtful driver and we felt safe in his care. Also, although he was not a formal guide he knew a lot about the places we visited and shared many interesting and useful insights about Morocco. Tawfiq also made sure to call ahead and ensure the hotels could meet us on arrival (which sometimes required a porter to carry our bags uphill or down very confusing alleyways in the old city), as well as meeting and handing us off to local guides. Tawfiq was available on WhatsApp (for Americans, it is a helpful texting/phone app overseas), so we had no problems arranging daily logistics for pickup, etc. We didn't have enough time for the full 9-day tour, so the tour company was very helpful in helping us modify their initial "best of" recommended itinerary to match our flights and preferences. Our tour started in Tangier where we were picked up at the airport, and continued over 7 days to Chefchaouen, Volabilis, Meknes, Fes, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakesh, and included drop off at our departure airport at Marrakesh. I would note that we did most of our communications arranging our trip directly with Mohamed, the owner of the tour company. Because of the time we had and the way the different cities are laid out, our itinerary did make for some long drives which they thoughtfully broke up into 1-3 hour segments. Our driver Tawfiq was very helpful planning rest stops and meals along the way, and you should not be shy about letting your driver know if you need to take a break. The hotels that they arranged for us were all quite good, clean with helpful service and good-to-decent breakfasts. I guess there is always a fear of getting sick but we were pretty lucky and no one had any digestive problems even though we ate out almost every day at local restaurants outside our hotels. The tour company also arranged for local licensed guides with expertise in specific locales. These local guides covered a full day in Fes, a half-day in Marrakesh, and 1 hour in Volabilis (ancient Roman ruins) and 2 hours in Meknes. You do not need to pay these guides separately, but it is customary to give them a tip. The guides were generally pretty good (special mention for Amal in Fes), but you should not be shy if you need them to slow down or speak more clearly. One point I think worth mentioning is that in the bigger cities, the guides included stops at various shops, including shops selling berber rugs, leather goods and ceramics. I have been on trips (e.g., Venice) where you find yourself in high-pressure sale situations. This is not that. These stops give you a view into the local culture and economy, and if you are interested, a chance to buy from respectable sellers. If you really do not want to be taken to any shops or merchants, you should say so, or ask your guide if you need help (although normally the guides will sit outside the shop and let you shop at leisure). Our fees included an English-speaking driver and large van, rooms each night at a 4- or 5-star riad-style hotel, breakfast was inclusive. The expense also included hiring the local guides. The price quoted by the travel company was the actual full price. No hidden fees or taxes, etc. You will need to pay for your own meals and drinks outside breakfast, entry fees into any sites, and tips.
This is an extremely reliable agency. Mohammed who is the executive in charge was a pleasure. Our trip went off without a hitch. We adapted some of the original plans before we left. Mohammed made some further changes on the itinerary when we were in Morocco with out any further charge and with graciousness not usually seen. Our driver Yassin was a perfect gentleman.....A pleasure too be with and well informed. His English was perfect and his patience appreciated. The trip from Casablanca in one day trip to Fez while long ,was so worthwhile. Our day trip from Marrakesh to Essaouria and overnight in Ouarzazate were remarkable and well worth doing. Morocco is indeed a pleasure . It has a constitution and king that inspires tranquility among its many religious and ethnic groups and it seems to be working well.
So much to see, not enough time So much to do, not enough energy. Kudos to our driver/guide Mustapha who drove us safely through the rain, flood and windstorm all of which added excitement to the adventure.
Great adventure! the highlights of Morocco did not disappoint. Major cities to small villages, informative and exciting tours filled with history and culture, Very surprised with the tour, I never expected to be this good, for a reasonable price you get a good experience, you visit lot of places and visit the best restaurants.
We went to Morocco on a family trip, organized by Tilila Travel. It was beyond our expectations. We had a very good time during our trip and we visited many cities during a short period of time. Muhamed, out agent from Tilila, was very professional, organizing and customizing the tour based on our needs and budget. Although we traveled with young children (with the youngest only 4 years old), the level of details and timing of the tour, organized by Tilila, enabled us to visit around 9 major cities from Casablanca, to Tangier in the north, Fes, and Marrakesh, and many others. Our driver Walid, was amazing, and took care of us, driving through out the country, coordinating our stays in Riads and Hotels, and ensuring our safety, Thank you Walid.
Amazing tour! The team was very responsive while we were planning. Our driver and guides were awesome. Felt like they were family members that were taking care of us. Highly recommended!
This tour has earned nothing but great reviews and Tilila travel certainly came through for my wife and me. Upon arrival in Casablanca we had an unexpected problem unrelated to the tour. Our driver, and now friend, Yassin, went out of his way to help us connect with the right people to resolve the matter. Our 9 day tour was completed as planned with a couple of changes in accommodation being required which Mohamed kindly took care of. We enjoyed the tour and the hospitality of Moroccan people, and had lots of laughs along the way.
This was a great tour from Tilila Tours and Mohammad was extremely helpful in helping us plan what we wanted to do including extra options like quad biking in the Sahara. Mohammad also helped us plan an extra day to our tour after we had already booked the 8 day one but we realized our flights would work better with an extra day. Our driver, Khalid, made our trip worthwhile - he was extremely friendly and helpful from the start. He was able to give us insights to Moroccan life from general information and also his own life experiences which elevated our time spent in the country. He even took us to see his hometown and invited us to tea with some members of his family, he was a great travel companion and made the longer drives between the locations enjoyable. You can tell Khalid loves his job and showing others his country - he helped us learn small phrases in Arabic and Berber depending where we were in the country which was both fun and useful when we were alone walking around the medinas! I (24F) was visiting Morocco with my boyfriend and after seeing some reviews on other sites for larger tour groups written by women, I was fearful of not feeling safe but I would recommend this group (and Khalid specifically) to anyone traveling, solo or in a group. I felt safe the entire time and was able to relax and enjoy my vacation which is a privilege I have not had in some other countries on similar type tours.
We signed up for the 8 day tour and decided to add on an extra excursion a few days before departing making it into a 9 day tour total. This was our first time to Morocco and Africa as a whole and I must say this tour was incredibly culturally enlightening. I believe we were able to experience nearly everything Morocco had to offer. My two favorite places were Marrakesh and the Sahara Desert. Riding camels in the Sahara was something I had always wanted to do and getting the opportunity to was incredible. The Medina in Marrakesh was like nothing I had ever seen before. We also added on the extra activity of riding quad bikes in the desert which was fun and added on a day trip from Marrakesh to Ouzoud falls, both I highly recommend. Tilila Travels was helpful in accommodating all of our desires in planning this tour. Be prepared for some long days of driving. The best part of our experience in Morocco had to be our driver Khalid. He was so so fun and friendly and it was obvious he enjoyed his job. Khalid is well known and has friends and connections in every city we went and was able to give us the best recommendations for restaurants and activities. He also warned us about what tourist scams we may encounter and how to be safe and avoid any problems. We loved learning from Khalid about Islamic and Moroccan culture and practices as he was very informative. I told him from the beginning how much I loved monkeys so he stopped and got out to feed them anytime he saw some on the side of a road or when we were walking somewhere. Khalid is the man! Overall I cannot recommend this tour or Khalid enough as our trip was an experience of a lifetime and have made such good memories from it. Thank you Tilila Travel and Khalid!
We are group of friends travel together internationally. This time we chose to go to Morocco. I researched and really liked Tilila travel and Mohamad's responses and reviews. I am very glad that we went with Tilila travel. Mohamed and Ayeman took care of us through out the 9 day trip. We covered a lot of places during this time from high Atlas to Sahara and many Medinas and kasbahs. We all had wonderful time in Morocco. The hotels/Rayads choices were excellent and very close to the main attractions. Thank you so much Mohamad for showing us your beautiful country and an opportunity to meet many nice people like yourself, Ayeman and other guides. We will cherish these moments for life and hopefully meet you again in some next visit. Thank you again!!
Customized to our liking from start to end. Having our own driver throughout the whole trip was just amazing. Beautiful country and people. Very welcoming. Trip was very well planned and organized. Agency was always available to any questions or help we needed. Big thank you to Mohammed, Zach and team.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed this tour so much we want to come back and do it all over again! Yassin was our driver and we miss him every day still! The itinerary was perfect, not too rushed but we got to see so many places and got to see the country in the eyes of a local. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend trip!! My second time in Morocco tour, this trip was better than last time. I have booked private tour with extra money and it was grate, definitely recommend. iIf you don't know anything about Morocco do not worry, just ask the agency and they will tell you anything that you haves asked, very kind and friendly. Hope you enjoy the trip!
This was one of the best experiences we've had traveling out of the country! We were completely immersed in the Moroccan culture from day 1 of this tour. Part of what made this such an awesome experience was our tour guide and driver, Yassin. Driving from city to city for 9 days, sightseeing, camel ride, touring historical sites, trying all the dishes, being led through the tight streets of ancient cities, and much more. This tour gave us everything Morocco has to offer and Yassin made us feel special throughout it all, greeting us each day with a smile and explaining what the day held. He really made us feel safe and cared for during our time there. We were sad to leave Yassin and beautiful Morocco. Such an enriching experience!
We took 9 day Morocco tour with Tilila Travel, "We had a wonderful a private tour with driver Noradine, who was with us from the start and end of the Tour. He drove us from the start point Casablanca and all the cities included in tour and bringing us back to the Casablanca Airport at the end of the tour . Prior to starting tour , I communicated few times with Staff mohammed about the tour .He was prompt to respond all the messages, driver Noradine was very punctual, always on time, respectful and helpful to us during Morocco tour. Included Guided tours in different cities were excellent. Their tour package is complete, well planned and organized. We were able to see most of the tourist attractions during our trip .I am highly recommending considering their travel packages, if you are planning to visit Morocco.
I am so glad we picked Tilila Travel for our first-ever trip to Morocco. Our private 9-day tour around the country exceeded all expectations. It was a fantastic experience and we got to discover the diverse landscape, culture, and history of this beautiful country. Our guide/driver, Hassan, was excellent - he was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable. He also taught us a lot about Moroccan and Amazigh culture and introduced us to some great Moroccan music! After learning I had an interest in sustainability, he also made a special effort to show me the Khettaras (traditional irrigation system) and how they function, point out the Ouarzazate solar power station, and get me up to speed on Morocco's sustainability plans! We couldn't have asked for a better guide! My experience with Mohamed was very positive. All queries were answered promptly before and during our trip and he was happy to tailor the trip as we wanted as well as arrange our preferred hotels. All the hotel rooms were of a high standard, especially Dar Chaouen in Chefchaouen and Riad Paradise in Dades Valley. Mohamed also got us some free hotel upgrades which was a nice surprise! We really appreciated that he kept checking in during our trip to ensure everything was going smoothly. We were also very pleased with the expert guides arranged for us in Fez and Marrakech from whom we learnt a lot about Moroccan history. Thank you Mohamed and Hassan for going above and beyond and making it an unforgettable trip! I highly recommend Tilila Travel. Definite 10/10!
We had such an amazing time on the 9 day tour around Morocco! First of all, Morocco was absolutely amazing. I loved it more than I thought I would. With this tour, we got to see so much of the country in such a short amount of time (though I wish we could’ve stayed longer!). Being on this tour took away the stress we would’ve had if we tried to do it on our own. We loved that it was a very small group tour (no bus of 50 people) so it felt much more personal. Our driver Yassin was wonderful. He took amazing care of us, and we learned even more about the country through him. The hotels/riads we stayed at were nice, the local tours in Fez and Marrakech were really great, and everyone was so friendly. The pace of the tour was quick since there was so much to see, but we didn’t feel rushed at all. And booking with Mohamed was great - he helped with all the details, answered all our questions, and even checked in during the tour to see how it was going. Overall, I definitely recommend booking with Till Travel for whatever tour you want to do!
It was great to be able to see all of Morocco in just 10 days! What a whirlwind of a memory at this point! tl;dr 10/10 experience, great food, and great mint tea!
I was so grateful that my family ( 2 parents with 2 college-age sons ) booked the 9-day tour with Tilila. It was during one of the busiest seasons of the year, from end of 2022 to the first week of New year. Mohamed was very responsive, always answered our questions asap, regardless of before, during or after the tour. The rate was very reasonable. He would give us hotel upgrade for free if previous customer had slightest complaint to him a few days before about the original hotel. Our driver Ali is very considerate. My whole family learnt a whole lot of Moroccan history, culture, custom, even Arabic language from him, making some of the lengthy driving days a lot of fun. Ali also knew exactly what kinds of food we were craving for lunches, and was always able to bring us to the just right local eateries along the trip. The itenerary of the 9- day trip is very well designed, enabling us to enjoy every bit of the beautiful country, and the diversity of the landscapes. Thank you Tilila, thank you Mohamed, thank you Ali!
I just loved how you can visit our beautiful country in just numbered days, to enjoy, laugh and have great time, see all the historical places, food and our traditions, it was an amazing experience and it was all for the well organized trip and stuff on their head M.Mohammed, so thank you soo much ...
Had a great time exploring the beautiful country of Morocco with this company. Everything exceeded my expectations and I will cherish this trip for a lifetime. You will NOT regret booking with this company!
It was an amazing travel experience, the driver was excellent. And I will send this travel to my friends if they plan to travel in Morocco.
The service is really good! I will choose them again. The driver is really friendly and protect use carefully
This is the best travel experience I have ever met, the manager and professional driver can support you what you want as soon as possible. Besides, the views, food and local people from Casablanca to desert are also amazing !!! This agency ensures a perfect trip for me!
I always wanted to know Morocco and had the opportunity to do it in August. It was a great experience that in addition to the beauty of its cities, the magic of its people, was coordinated from this Enterprise that attended us as if we were family, provided us Transfer Service, infrastructure in hotels and guides that allowed us to know the culture of this unforgettable country. Hopefully I can come back. Thank you Morocco, thank you Mohaned and the whole team.
