My family and I took an unforgettable six days and five nights in Morocco. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, smoothly, and with genuine care. The trip experts were amazing, knowledgeable, organised, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Morocco. Every day was well planned, and we always felt supported. The riads and hotels throughout the trip were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. What impressed us most was our driver, Said! Said was incredibly thorough, very understanding, and truly went above and beyond for us in so many ways. He was always mindful of our time, explained everything clearly, and even took us out for shopping and local experiences. He made sure to stop at multiple places for food as well. He was extremely knowledgeable about every place we visited, which made the experience even more meaningful. That level of service is rare!! A very special shoutout to all of the local guides arranged for us, who were excellent as well. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and gave us a much deeper appreciation for each city and region. We felt valued, looked after, and respected throughout the entire trip. If you are considering a tour of Morocco, we highly recommend desert trips. Their service, transparency, and commitment to their guests are outstanding. Thank you again for an unforgettable adventure!

Amazing, friendly and practical advice that turned into a family trip to remember forever. Khalil and Med were exceptionally patient, helping us plan our itinerary, and really understood us and what we wanted to do. Moha, our driver and guide, was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and had our best interests at the top of mind. He even recommended some places. Overall, can’t think of anything that they could have done to improve our trip. Thank you so much. Can’t wait for the next trip!
From the first point of contact. Excellent! No complaints at all. Our guide, the hotels, and the tours. They customized our trip (we added two extra days) and worked out all the fine details of our itinerary as our departure date approached. Our driver, Said, was very friendly & hospitable, and communication with our guides was excellent. I cannot praise them all highly enough.
This tour tools us to places we had never imagined! My friend and I, 62 and 70 , were Awed many times. The tour not only takes you to look and learn about at historic highlights, but you get to Experience things interactively, such as tea in the home of a nomad family or learning how a certain type of pottery is made. We were right there with the artists. We went to several coops. The scenery and scenic areas we stopped at were beautiful. I could go on, but this was an incredible tour!. The sequence was: nights in raids with breakfast. Then go with driver/ tour guide to a location, a tour guide meets you and you go with them. You get picked up at a certain location, then you go some place else and that pattern goes on to usually around nightfall. In many cases our driver came with the tour or he was our guide for other things we did. We loved learning about the culture and how things are made firsthand . Our driver guide Said was Great, incredibly knowledgeable and down-to-earth. . There’s quite a bit of driving sometimes. But he would tell us things about the area we were going through. We learned a lot from him. The whole trip was synchronized beautifully. The accommodates were unique and comfortable. The food was great. Plenty of souk time in very different environments. We also appreciated how helpful Khalil was at the company prior to our trip.
We did the 6 day Casablanca to Marrakech private tour with 3 moms and 3 18 year old girls with Siad as the driver. The tour was excellent. Every stop was perfectly timed and interesting. We upgraded the hotels and were impressed by the Riad in fez and blown away by eden boutique hotel in the Dades valley…one of the best hotels ever. We all felt the tour was just perfect covering all the essentials without feeling rushed. Would not have changed a thing! Definitely recommend this company.
Fabulous 4 day trip from Casablanca to Marrakech via Chefchaouen, Meknès, Fes and Rabat superbly organised. Very friendly and accommodating guide and driver navigating safely through country roads and bustling city traffic, thank you!!! Enjoyed the very knowledgeable local guides and tours enabling us fully to immerse into the current and historic life of Morocco. A fantastic first voyage to Morocco, sure to come back. Thanks so much!!
We had an amazing experience. It was truly a great introduction to the country and we definitely want to come back to experience different places. Our driver Saiid was excellent!!! He is very knowledgeable, kind and personable. We felt safe and cared for. All the guides were great and gave us lots of information about the country. The desert experience was so much fun and very well organized!!! All the riads and restaurants were great!!! All in all we had an amazing trip!!!
I recently made a 6 day trip to Morocco through Desert trips. It was a trip of a lifetime, and something that I'll never forget. All of the logistical issues, along with my personal preferences, were discussed openly, with always a quick reply. Every transfer, activity, hotel and dining suggestion was right on target. Excellent guides provided for the cultural/historical site tours. I was able to experience the country with my own driver, Said, who was very knowledgeable, polite, and experienced. The sights, sounds and weather of Morocco were new, exciting, and vibrant, and I highly recommend them to help make the experience come together.
We had fascinating cultural experiences, delicious food, and exciting adventures. All of our arrangements were done well. All trips and tours were interesting and exciting. Every one of our local tour guides was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Our driver, Said, was excellent and made the trip most enjoyable. It would not have been the same without him. He was kind and respectful, and truly inspired us, made us laugh, and left a lasting impression on both of us. By the end of our time with him, he felt like a friend!! All in all, If you're looking to elevate your travel experience with local expertise and reliable project management, I highly recommend this team. Even if you prefer to book your own accommodation like we did, having Med’s vision for the itinerary and Said’s execution on the ground made our Morocco getaway truly memorable. Wonderful 6-day trip, thank you DesertTrips! Chase
I had an amazing trip planned by Desert Trips. It was a great experience and I met many amazing people. I couldn't make up my mind about how many days of tour I would like. But every time I emailed, I always got a very prompt reply. I really appreciated that. When I finally decided to take a six day tour at the last minute, Med readily agreed to a few changes to the itinerary, although it was only three days before the trip! The car was nice, clean and comfortable, and the accommodations were very good as promised. My driver was very attentive, very professional, and knowledgeable, and he shared many interesting and fun anecdotes along my journey. He was great at explaining the significance of areas, and he showed me local spots and ensured I had the best local and cultural experience. I'll definitely go with them again if there is a chance.
I took a private trip from Casablanca to Marrakech and had such a lovely time! My driver picked me up at the airport and drove me on my full Moroccan adventure, which was an absolute treat. He was kind, funny, and an expert guide. He showed me gorgeous sights not listed on the itinerary, and taught me so much about the land, the people and the history. The scenery was absolutely beautiful – quaint little villages and charming streets to explore. Every hotel was flawless, some of the best I have ever stayed in. The riad was a luxurious location with everything you could ask for, including amazing staff, a fantastic restaurant, and it’s a beautiful hotel with a historical type of Moroccan architecture. I’m going back to Morocco as soon as I can. This was my first time there and I had only six days. I didn’t know how interesting and beautiful Morocco would be. There is much more I’d like to see and I’ll definitely work closely with DesertTrips on all future visits. All in all, a really enjoyable and relaxing trip out with a great guide. Would definitely recommend if you’re after a fun and well-organised trip with a personal touch.
We were very nervous about traveling during August, but Med, Khalil in particular, held our hands to be prepared for our trip. Khalil was very responsive to our many questions and kept us informed along the way. We spoke on WhatsApp as well as emailed. We felt very prepared! It is impossible to find anything negative about this trip, because everything was so great! locations of the hotels were great, all the views were great, the beaches, the food, as well as our driver & guide, Said! Said was outstanding; pleasant and knowledgeable of the cities we visited, and an excellent driver. He was always on time and available, helpful, and willing to help us with any questions. When visiting other cities and sites, he always introduced us to our local guides and was waiting for us on completion. By the way, Morocco is a wonderful country with very proud people who want to share what they have with the world. So, without getting too detailed here, suffice it to say the trip was excellent. I could not recommend them more highly!!
When considering guided tours of Morocco, our group wanted an experience that would allow us to have an authentic look at the local cultures, educate us on the history of major cities/peoples, and provide a view of the iconic landscapes. In our opinion, DesertTrips was able to meet all of those wants and we had a great time. Our primary guide and driver, Mustapha, was a highlight of the entire experience. He was with us across the entire 6 days and did his best to entertain us for the longer drives across the country. He had a good sense of humor, was able to answer a majority of our questions, and was reliable when it came to making sure that we had everything we needed to be more comfortable. He went out of his way to give us a more personal tour and offered additional perspective into both nomadic and overall Berber culture. It speaks for itself that whenever we weren't driving to the next location, we were missing his commentary. Anyone willing to hand over the aux cord to us for 7+ hours has the right temperament to be a guide, and we're grateful to Mustapha for his professionalism, patience, and dedication to showing us the best of Morocco--he's an asset and great representation of DesertTrips. Overall, we visited everywhere that we intended and ate the food that we expected. One of the best tagines we had was at a gas station on our way to the desert. Visiting Erg Chebbi and riding a camel at sunset was equally hilarious and unforgettable in terms of the views. Walking around Fes and getting the history of the city was educational and very grounded in the reality of the residents' daily lives. Finally, visiting the shops in Marrakech was exactly what we imagined and was a good way to end our 6 days together. If there are any helpful notes to leave for those considering this tour it would be the following: - While visiting the desert, it's implicitly expected that you'll tip the men guiding the camels since it's their main form of income. It would be good to have spare cash with that in mind. - A few of the guides will reiterate this to you, but you should be careful about consuming unfiltered water/eating specific foods. It's just a matter of your stomach not being used to it depending on your country of origin. - Continuing with the food, the menu could possibly feel repetitive. That's due to the tourist-oriented restaurants you're visiting. We'd recommend taking the opportunities to visit more unique places when you have free time (keeping in mind the previous point). - This isn't exactly a "relaxing" tour, but that's not a bad thing. You're going to learn and see a good amount of the country and beautiful landscapes that we personally don't get to see where we live. - Bring shoes you're willing to ditch at the end. - Come with playlists for your driver! This was a great experience and we would recommend it to others looking to learn more about Morocco. We will miss you, Mustapha!
This is the best company, and very reasonable prices too. We communicated via WhatsApp to arrange (and change) the itinerary as i wanted. I chose and booked hotels myself. My friend's flight was late, and they took me from Casablanca to Rabat so I could do the Rabat city tour on my own, and then we drove back to CMN to pick up my friends. Driver was very polite and we felt very safe and looked after the whole trip. Only note that the camel ride and desert tent is done by another company. So all luggage is moved to a pick up truck to get to the tents. That was a bit disconcerting, but all was safe. All together the whole trip was fantastic.
I booked a 6 day trip through Morocco with Deserttrips and thoroughly enjoyed it - right from the very start of researching options, through to flying home, Med was incredibly friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to understand my situation so he can tailor my trip down to the most minute detail. My driver, Moha, who travelled with me throughout the trip, was informative, thoughtful, personable and very enthusiastic about telling me about his country. This guy has the patience of a saint and was extremely helpful. I want to conclude by saying how impressed I’ve been with the deserttrips team during the past few months. Initially, I worked with Med to organize this trip. He was eager to answer my various questions. As I’ve already indicated, Moha was an outstanding leader during my actual trip. Then, upon my return home, I was pleasantly surprised that Khalil, yet another wonderful Deserttrips team, reached out to me to solicit my honest feedback about my trip. In my opinion, this kind of customer service and close personal attention from start to finish is the sign of a very high-quality organization and helps to differentiate Deserttrips from many other travel organizations. Given my very favorable experiences, it is very easy for me to endorse Deserttrips and their fantastic trip to Morocco. As you would expect, I look forward to taking another trip with them soon.
We're mid-aged and looking for smaller tour sizes while staying within a moderate budget. We're seasoned travelers who usually coordinate trips ourselves. I’m glad I left the planning to Deserttrips for this trip. Hassan was an excellent guide & driver. He stopped at all the cool places along the way. The tour had a wonderful balance of nature, history, and food. The kids want to do it again! I highly recommend this tour!!!
We booked with Deserttrips for our trip to Morocco and we have to say we were definitely more than satisfied with how our vacation turned out! They did a peerless job - just fabulous with terrific people! The itinerary was filled with interesting activities and clearly laid out, it wasn’t too packed and allowed for some flexibility for us to do our own exploring which we greatly enjoyed. Saiid was knowledgeable, positive, and an extremely safe and organized guide & driver. We could relax because we knew he had everything handled. Simply the best!! Fes and Marrakech was truly a step back in time... And the hot air balloon ride in Marrakech is a must! Great cultural experience and beautiful scenery. we took a private cooking class.. Food was amazing and the people were great. The local guides were informative and helpful, it was very much needed for them to show us around and the historical context they provided elevated the appreciation we had for each area we stayed at. The riads & hotels they put us in were such that I would go to them all again in a shot. This is a trip I’ll carry with me for life. We were a little sad to leave and do miss those we spent a good bit of time with. Everyone was so helpful & nice it made it hard to depart. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!! Overall, we will be definitely looking to book with them again!
We're so glad that we took the leap to book our tour with the wonderful team at Deserttrips! We liked everything about our trip from the riad/hotel to the tours and local guides.... Cheers for making our trip special in so many ways. We wanted to see as much of Morocco as possible, on our time of roughly 6 days in the country and our budget. Every day was full but manageable, and well planned. Most importantly, Saiid is an exceptional human being and was the most accommodating guide and driver we’ve ever experienced! His historical knowledge and command of English is truly wonderful. We loved our chats with him! We searched for variety and found it.. Amazing food, culture, people, and adventures!
I'm so glad we booked this tour on our recent trip to Morocco. Once we were in the country, everything was very smooth and professional. Our driver Addi met us at the airport and was with us for 6 days, he was an excellent driver and we felt safe with him driving us around Morocco! He was friendly and so good to us and the whole trip was very easy because of his support and knowledge of the culture. He really helped us understand how Moroccans lived and the influence of Jewish people in early culture.. We felt like family by the end of the trip! All our activities, city guides, and everything were ready when we arrived. Each riad and hotel was a local highlight and very well chosen by them. The service and comfort the riads provided were exceptional. Our local guides Mohamed in Rabat, Hassan in Fes, and Hssayn in Marrakesh were very knowledgeable and explained the history extremely well. The camel ride into the Sahara desert was beautiful at sunset. I'm so thrilled to have this amazing experience. We wish we had more time in the desert but enjoyed every minute that we were there. We will certainly be back and plan to spend a bit more time in Chefchouen, Camp in the Sahara Desert, and Marrakech - and will add an excursion to the coast to our next adventure. Thank you, Deserttrips, for an outstanding tour!! Highly recommended....
We recently had an incredible, stress-free trip to Morocco, all thanks to Deserttrips. The entire journey was meticulously planned, from our city tours to transport, hotel/riad accommodations...etc, making it one of the most enjoyable vacations we’ve ever had. Our guides in Fes and Marrakesh were outstanding—their deep knowledge of the history and culture added so much to our visits to Morocco. They spoke fluent English and were very informative. The most outstanding part of the tour was the guide and driver, Moha, we spent a lot of time with him. He's an exceptional human being and was the most accommodating driver I’ve ever experienced. He’s a 10/10! He was always timely and His historical knowledge is truly exceptional. From start to finish, they planned our vacation flawlessly and easy to email, and text at all times. I was so impressed by them that I would recommend each one of them absolutely and with the most confidence!
Our family’s trip to Morocco in July 2024 was a phenomenal experience, thanks to the impeccable planning by Deserttrips. they crafted a perfectly comfortable and enjoyable 6-day itinerary that took us through Fes, Merzouga Desert, Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou, and Marrakech. Moha was our driver and guide, he was wonderful! Moha went above and beyond what he was supposed to do and even took us to some local places to eat. The local guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, providing us with rich insights into the history and culture of each location. They showed us so many things we never would have known to see! The riad and hotel accommodations were top-notch, offering comfort and convenience, while the meals provided were consistently delicious, showcasing the best of Moroccan cuisine. All in all, this was a very positive experience and most importantly, it was very stress-free. Once again, We are immensely grateful and heartfelt thanks to Deserttrips for making our trip ever-memorable. We highly recommend their services to anyone planning to visit Morocco!
Although our initial plan was to use the local transportation to go around, since we traveled with my 3-y-old son decided to look for a private tour to take us across Morocco covering all important tourist attractions. We approached Mr. Med at the DesertTrips and he was very helpful. He was very patient to listen to our needs, explained each tour itinerary, and helped us to choose the right option. The booking was followed up and we got our tour details promptly. Moha who took us around in his neat car was knowledgeable and very friendly. He didn't hurry us anywhere. Every destination was well explained with its historical references and he was kind enough to take our photographs. His knowledge of the local roads and attractions was impressive. Very professional driver. We were very comfortable with his driving. He was very good in English, and hence it was easy to converse with him. The best part was the dune bashing, it was thrilling and honestly the funniest experience. The camel riding and show was also fantastic. The hospitality was wonderful. If you are planning to use DesertTrips please do ask for him as we feel he's excellent in what he does! We'll definitely be coming back! Will highly recommend booking with DesertTrips esp when traveling with kids, and asking for Moha as your driver:-)
Had the most amazing time doing the 4-day Moroccan trip, truly a desert list adventure. They got my trip booked on very short notice and were extremely helpful with any questions I had before departing. This was my first Moroccan trip and I was pretty nervous about it, but it's so easy to get where you need to be with everything pre-booked and laid out in your travel itinerary. All the hotels and riads I stayed at were great and well-located. My experience at the Luxury Oasis Camps in the Sahara desert was extraordinary. The Moroccan food is delicious with lots of flavorful meats and fresh fruits and vegetables...excellent! The Guide/driver Hasaan was professional, reliable, helpful, and full of history on the country, cities, and culture of the towns I visited. Over time, we became friends. He is an amazing guy! The local guides for each city and Marrakech were very knowledgeable and top-notch. I couldn’t have seen the city or had the same positive experiences without them. Thank you! All in all, I loved every aspect of Deserttrips and will definitely book travels through them again in the future. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. Thanks for making my trip easy!
Deserttrips make your trip so much easier. It made planning our itinerary and booking the various tours very easy. We did not encounter any issues booking our activities and they provided great customer service. We were able to see a handful of cities and historical monuments, along with the Sahara desert. Would absolutely do it again if we were back in Morocco, as we couldn't possibly have hit all in 4 days! Basically, deserttrips delivered on its promises and offers great value for the price. We definitely recommend it!
Our guide/driver was fantastic and He was so helpful in making everyone's experience unique. He told me loads of great places, the history of the Berbers, and Morocco as a whole, which made me very happy. I would happily go again with this guide as he went out of his way to make my experience special.
Thank you to DesertTrips and Khalil for making this the best vacation of our lives. We just finished a 4 day private tour and saw many incredible things on our way to the Desert, which exposed us to the diverse landscapes and cultures of this exotic country. We did a camel trek and spent the night in the Bivouac(I’d recommend a Mome days if traveling to the Sahara desert). The trip was well organized! Our riads where we stayed along the way were really nice, very clean, and comfortable with delicious breakfast. We are very satisfied with the value of the tour, in terms of the food and accommodation provided!! Khalil was a great guide/driver, polite, and extremely helpful. We had an opportunity to visit unique cultural sites and landscapes and enjoy activities we had not expected including tea with a Berber Nomad Family, a tour of a Hassilabied Garden, eating at authentic eateries in Khamlia village, and visiting craft persons and shops with authentic products at very fair prices. Our driver answered questions we had and was always ready to help if we needed anything. Morocco is a beautiful country with friendly people. A job well done! DesertTrips made this a fantastic vacation.
Awesome Trip with Khalil. Best tour we took in a very long time. The quality of the activities was top notch. In addition, the knowledge of Khalil on the Hystory of Marocco and the culture of the country is impressive. And his kindness in amazing.
I highly recommend DesertTrips if you plan to discover Morocco. From the beautiful High Atlas Mountains in Agadir to scenic Essaouira to the bustling streets of Casablanca, everything was planned to perfection. Our guide Said gave us a comprehensive tour with memorable local experiences and was fun to have on our trip.
The most amazing trip with friendly and professional guides (Said & Naima). Took us to some of the most beautiful and amazing places of interest. Would definitely use their services again.
We had the most amazing time on our trip to Morocco. Our guide Said was very friendly and professional. He took us to many places of interest and was even available to drop us to the airport on our day of departure. Said's tour assistant Naima had a great knowledge of historical and current Casa Blanca which made the tour very interesting. We would not hesitate using their services again. We highly recommend them.
DesertTrips took very good care of us. The 4 people we met were excellent and cannot thank them enough. Khalil, Idris, Naima and Said who drove us around from Casablanca to Marrakech and back to Casablanca . I will recommend them anytime for their efficiency. Wonderful people.
This was an amazing and very picturesque trip that was both fun and exciting as well as informative and authentic ! Lots of incredible natural and historical locations and experiences! From the drive right on the beach and coming through an opening in the mountain to an unforgettable view of the sunset, to the small Berber town with its quant market with local trade work and authentic Argan products ...to large rock formations that were inspired to be painted bright and fun colors that create well photographed ambiance to the ancient city that is called “ grandmother of Marakech “ and you’ll get to find out why 🤩 So much in such a short time with an amazing and experienced team ! Highly recommend and most of my close friends are planing on taking this tour as well as northern 10 day one !!!!
Fantastic trip, surreal places, even better people, impeccable organization, perfect in everything. An experience that I will always carry in my heart and that I will definitely repeat!! Thank you for these wonderful days!
My trip to Morocco with DesertTrips was an unforgettable experience. We were able to discover magical places full of history, enjoying every moment in a very well organized Mood. The attention and support of driver and guide Moha made everything easier and more comfortable, allowing us to focus on enjoying the beauty of the country. Activities, hotels, guides and dining areas have been worth it. It was certainly an adventure to remember. I recommend this experience to those who seek to explore Morocco in a different and well prepared way.
Everything perfect!! The organization was impeccable from the first contact, always punctual, quick and generous in my thousand requests for clarifications. Our driver Yidir welcomed us and told millennia of history with passion, kindness and professionalism. Fantastic trip for the many things to see, well managed, adequate services. The hotels was very nice and clean, with that offered tasty dishes and a great variety of desserts. Even the Nesma riad in Marrakech surprised us in a positive way: elegant, with swimming pool and good food. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the wonders of Morocco in a safe, comfortable and fascinating way. Thank you Med, Khalil, Yidir, we will definitely come back to travel with you!
The trip has been put together with care and our wishes have been taken into account. Normally we always arrange everything ourselves when we travel, but for these six days Morocco we have booked through Deserttrips. We are very satisfied! Nothing but compliments for their kindness when asking and good price and everything was arranged quickly. For the first time we have booked through this team and is definitely worth repeating. Top experience!
We were very satisfied, everything is well organized with very nice and patient guides. the route is structured and well thought out, we stayed for 6 days, allowed us to see the most important historical monuments and learn about their history. All according to our rhythms and times. This trip with this format was a beautiful discovery for us that I would have liked to know before. The driver / guide was exceptional, he picked us up on time, and I was so impressed by the professionalism, the love for his endless work that made the excursion magical. Experience strongly recommended.
I wanted to thank Khalil for touring the cool places in Morocco) I went alone with him and we were really cool. He always joked and told me everything. Even though the tour was 3 days, I saw something. It's really beautiful, and if anyone's thinking of visiting this country, go! Thank you Khalil💕
