My family and I just completed a 13-day itinerary of Morocco that included Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, desert camping in the Sahara, Merzouga, Dades Valley, and Marrakesh and had an amazing time! One of the main highlights was the Oasis Luxury Camp and camel riding through the Sahara. The communication with Med from the very beginning was prompt and very professional. When our flight was changed by the airline causing an extension of our trip, Med came up with suggestions where we could add an extra night in our itinerary to take advantage of the extra time we had. Our driver/guide Bihi (ibrahim) was excellent and went above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable, patient, punctual, and took the time to explain sights and life in Morocco. He suggested great restaurants and a traditional Hammam experience and we couldn’t have been happier with the service he provided. Our group had a few special requests and he accommodated us with a smile. There was always lots of fresh, cold bottled water in the car, perfect for the days we had long drives. Bihi was our driver for the entire trip, but we also had very knowledgeable city-specific guides for the walking tours of Rabat, Fes, Chefchaouen, and Marrakesh. The coordination between the tour company, driver, and guides was all smooth and excellent. All of the lodgings/riads were exceptional. The staff were extremely hospitable, the food was excellent, and the facilities well kept. We especially enjoyed the food at the Oasis Luxury Camp, Dar Hassan and Dar Rihana. Riad Itrane in Marrakesh also provided exceptional service and had 4 very friendly cats living at the Riad. We created so many unforgettable memories and this trip has brought me closer to my family. I have DesertTrips and Bihi to thank for that.

Day 1
1
It Depends on the airport or port of arrival in Morocco, the first day is an arrival day, however, the overall activities are similar. Upon arrival at Casablanca airport (CMN), As soon as your flight lands, pick up your luggage and walk outside Terminal 2. There, you will find our team holding a sign with your name, ready to warmly welcome you to Morocco. If you arrive late in the day, we will take you directly to your hotel to rest. If you arrive in the early morning, we will take you on a small tour of Casablanca before bringing you to the hotel to relax, NOTE: Contact us for any preferences or customize in the tour, This tour is private, therefore the itinerary can be adjusted to your preferences: - More days to the itinerary. - Hotels type (3-4-5 stars..) - Excursions - Arrival or departure location - Other preferences.
Welcome to the modern coastal city of Casablanca. Casablanca's main attraction is the relatively modern and monumental Hassan II Mosque. Inaugurated in 1993, it sits on an outcrop jutting into the Atlantic and offers breathtaking views. It has a 690-foot (210 m) minaret the tallest structure in Morocco and the tallest minaret in the world. What makes this mosque additionally unique is that it is one of the few mosques in the country where non-Muslims are permitted to enter. Join a guided tour and appreciate the fine examples of Moroccan and Islamic artisanship.
Day 2
2
After breakfast, Venture north to the imperial city, and present-day capital, of Rabat (Meknes, Fes, and Marrakech) make up the remaining imperial cities). Explore the medieval fortification of the Chellah Necropolis and wander the Roman and Islamic ruins. Enter through the grand door of the Kasbah des Oudaias into Rabat's original city center. From there, visit the 20th-century Andalusian Gardens and enjoy the serene space away from the crowds. Discover the Hassan Tower, a minaret of the incomplete mosque and Mausoleum of Mohamed V. A 12th-century project that was abandoned soon after construction began.
After visiting the imperial city of Rabat we will start driving to Asilah Once in the city, we will visit the medina of Asilah to discover its important historical and monumental heritage. This fortified area next to the Atlantic still houses vestiges of the Portuguese domination of the 15th century. This heritage has left traces on the old ramparts and the Raisuni Palace, a privileged witness of the events that the city went through. Overnight in a Hotel or Traditional Riad
Day 3
3
After breakfast, explore Tangier, which is a major entry point from Europe to Morocco, with many recent additions to improve the city as a tourist destination, including a new marina area (a nice place for a quick walk), and the Medina area. The Tangier Kasbah (fortified castle) is small and compact enough to allow for a self-guided and easy walk by following the various signs. Enter through Bab Haha and enter Place du Mechouar. About 15-20 minutes away from the city, you can also visit Cap Spartel and the Cave of Hercules, which takes about 1 hour to fully enjoy. The cave's outline, when seen against the Atlantic skyline, is thought to resemble that of the African continent. Find a café in the hip Zoco Chico square for something to eat and do a little people-watching and cap off the day with a late afternoon paseo to enjoy the sunset as you stroll along the seafront promenade of the bustling corniche. Overnight in Tangier
Day 4
4
In the morning, have breakfast and then make your way toward Chefchaouen. On the way, you’ll pass through Tetouan, which is a jewel of a town in a striking location at the foot of the Rif Mountains, just a few kilometers from the sea. The ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, looks like it has not changed in several centuries. You will be able to tour this town on your own with recommendations from your driver. Lunch will be at your leisure.
Continuing on, you will arrive in Chefchaouen, a visual delight clad in blue walls, doors, windows, stairways, alleyways, and archways–everything is a combination of soft, pastel sky blue and deeper, more powerful hues. After your check-in at your riad, you are free to explore the town at your own pace or simply relax. Outa el Hammam is the main square and the place to watch the world go by. Walk up the tiny higgledy-piggledy alleys, away from the more tourist-orientated areas, and you will find the everyday life of the town comes alive. Ask your driver if you want any recommendations. Dinner will be on your own. Overnight in a Hotel or Traditional Riad
Day 5
5
Today, you will say goodbye to Chefchaouen and travel south to Fes. On the way to Fes, you’ll visit Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that contains Morocco's best-preserved Roman ruins. You can take a nice break from driving to wander the massive complex, exploring large merchant homes with visible heating systems, temples, and many well-preserved mosaics. There are usually guides available here to hire on your own if you would like, and your driver can assist you with this.
Then, it is over to Moulay Idriss, which from a distance, looks like a sitting camel. Moulay Idriss was founded in 789 CE by Moulay Idriss after he had fled religious and tribal conflicts in Mecca. It was here that he founded the Idrisid dynasty, making Moulay Idriss Morocco's first Islamic capital and a site of ongoing cultural significance. The city also contains the only round minaret in Morocco. You can eat lunch here, or wait to eat at the next stop
The last stop before Fes is the prosperous city of Meknes. It has a smaller medina than Fes and you can explore at a leisurely pace, without worrying about aggressive shopkeepers. Your driver will lead you through the Ville Impériale area, where you can see gardens, palaces, the impressive gate of Bab al-Mansour, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Royal Stables. Many of these palaces were constructed with materials taken from Volubilis, so be on the lookout for Roman columns hidden in unexpected places! You’ll end the day in Fes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Fes was founded by Moulay Idriss I and was made the capital of the Idrisid dynasty by his successor, Moulay Idriss II. You will be taken to your riad in the Fes medina, and the late afternoon into the evening will be yours.
Day 6
6
Fes is home to the most complete medina, Much of the city has remained untouched over the centuries, resulting in a more authentic medieval experience. Divided into three main areas of interest, you will explore two medina quarters, the older Fes el Bali and the newer Fes el Jdid, Meet your guide and begin your tour at Riad, working your way along the main thoroughfare, Talâa Kebira. Navigate the narrow, windy streets to find the Chouara Tannery. Climb to the rooftop of a nearby leather shop for an encompassing view of the men at work—a practice that is little changed in hundreds of years. Find the 9th-century Al-Qarawiyyin University, one of the oldest universities in the world. Head to the Al Attarine Madrasa to see examples of Moroccan artisanship throughout. Make your way to Fes el Jdid to check out the Mellah (Jewish quarter and cemetery) and take advantage of its location for an overview of the city you will also visit the ceramics Cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts.
Day 7
7
Get an early start today, because you'll be covering a lot of ground to reach the Sahara Desert! You will start by crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains through the town of Azrou and its majestic cedar forests. Here, you can take a brief detour to the scenic Cèdre Gouraud Forest, where troops of Barbary Macaque monkeys lounge in ancient cedar trees near the road. You’ll stop for lunch in Midelt, which sits on a cold, high desert plateau. Despite the harsh landscape, Midelt is known as Morocco's "Apple City" for its productive orchards. This is only possible because the Moulouya River (the third-longest river in Morocco) provides year-round water as it runs to the Mediterranean Sea.
Continuing on, you’ll cross a landscape of steep mountain ranges, wide valleys, and narrow canyon passes. You will follow the Ziz Valley, an important branch of the ancient Saharan Trade Route. You will start to see many fortified houses (known as ksars) that were built by merchants to protect the gold, salt, and spices that passed this way.
After crossing through the incredible Ziz Gorge, you will begin to see early signs of Saharan sand dunes. These wind-blown dunes are in constant motion, often leading them to encroach upon farms, roads, and buildings. You can also see an ancient method of water "mining” here, an ingenious way to transfer water from the mountains to farmland, which was employed before modern pumps were invented. Along the way, you'll notice nomadic shepherds and some tents in this area. Near Merzouga, you can take a short break as you prepare for the trip to your desert camp. If you ride a camel, you will arrive at camp just before sunset. You can climb up to watch the colorful sunset reflecting on the sand dunes. Head back to camp for dinner and a night of traditional Berber music by the fire. There is almost no light pollution in this region, so be sure to look at the starry night sky before you head to bed.
Day 8
8
If you are an early riser, you'll be rewarded with a sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, we will begin our desert excursion in the Sahara desert to explore the different parts of the desert. First, we will see the lake of Merzouga which is home to exotic birds, then head directly to the middle of the Sahara desert where nomads with their animals still live a traditional life, we will sip a cup of tea with them and see how they live. Afterward, we take the route where Ralley Paris Dakar used to race, then we get to Mifis mines that once used to be exploited by France, time to visit them. We continue our journey by heading directly to Khamlia village which is inhabited by black Berber people originally from Mali, Niger ...We will have a chance to listen to their music and dance. Lunch in the village ( Berber Pizza). Then, we set off to visit an impressive oasis on the edge of sand dunes before we end up our day in your hotel.
Day 9
9
After breakfast at your hotel. We'll leave the immense desert and travel towards the city of Rissani, once a major stopping place for the Saharan-caravans route; if it coincides with the day markets which take place on : Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays we will have an opportunity to visit the souk — the largest one in the region
Next, continue to Erfoud, known for its date festival and famous for its fossil mining and artisan factories (you may have already seen some fossils in the markets). En route, you can see hillside mines where large rocks are taken from the earth. While in town, stop at a local artisan collective where you can learn about the types of fossils found in the area and see the full process of how the fossil-rich rock is transformed into beautiful objects, large and small.
Then, continue our journey to Dades valley passing through villages such as Millab, Tinjdad, and Toroug to arrive later at Todra valley which is a green one surrounded by mud villages and mountains. Driving around 30 min we get to Todra gorges: a narrow vertical passage with vertical cliffs 300m high rising dramatically on each side, they are a popular destination for climbing lovers. Getting to Dades valley where you will see the fascinating rock formation known locally as "monkies fingers" as well as beautiful mud kasbahs. Once your exploration is over for the day, enjoy dinner and get some rest.
Day 10
10
Today, we travel to El Kalaa Mgou'na or Rose Town where over 400 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported to perfume Industries. The festival of roses is held here every May As we travel from Rose Town to Skoura you will see so many kasbahs among the greenery of Dades Valley. The small town of Skoura Is surrounded by thousands of palm groves and the most beautiful kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Continue our journey to Ouarzazate " Hollywood of Africa " -with the biggest cinema studios in Morocco-, then to the most famous, filmed and photographed kasbah of Ait Benhaddou — A Unesco World Heritage site — We'll have free time to visit it and have lunch in the village. Afterward, we head to Marrakesh via the high Atlas Mountains (2260 ), admiring the impressive mountainous views and special Berber villages on the mountain's sides. Arrive in Marrakesh in the evening.
Day 11

As you explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will come across lively souks and maze-like alleys. You're sure to be dazzled by displays of djellabas, brightly colored babouches, intricately-pierced lanterns, conical mounds of exotic spices, and the intense hubbub of medina life. Along the way, your knowledgeable and energetic guide will regale you with the history and stories of the Medina, the Souk, and the Mellah neighborhoods of the Red City

Our trip to Morocco proved to be exceptional. I called the company and, much to my delight, they were able to reorganize/reschedule the trip I had meticulously planned many months earlier. Not only did they take my wish list (12-day Moroccan private tour starting from Casablanca) of what we wanted to see and do and incorporate those items into our vacation, but they also made several suggestions to improve our adventure. The selection of lodges was second to none, it was clear they’d done their research and also visited them all, probably more than once. All of the activities were as described. We got to spend a lot of time in each place, and it didn't feel rushed at all, which was really nice. All of the guides were very friendly and helpful! Also, special mention to our driver Addi, he is really funny, friendly, and communicative. Addi’s resourcefulness in uncovering affordable yet delicious food spots, engaging activities, and unique souvenirs, as well as his flexibility in accommodating our custom arrangements, made the trip truly personalised and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the trip. Thank you for making this experience a pleasant one! And I would confidently recommend them to fellow travelers!
I don’t have words to describe how fantastic the trip was! It's met our expectations and sometimes even more! From the bustling streets of the economic capital to the serene beauty of the Rif mountains, desert, and Atlas mountains, every moment was filled with awe-inspiring experiences, warm hospitality, and a deep immersion in the rich Moroccan culture. Our adventure began in the heart of Casablanca, the vibrant of Morocco. The accommodations throughout the trip were absolutely wonderful, allowing us to fully relax and recharge between activities. We were lucky with everything, especially with our wonderful guide-driver! In particular, I was truly impressed by our knowledgeable and thoughtful driver, Said. The professionalism and expertise of our guides ensured a seamless and enriching experience. Their deep knowledge of Moroccan history and culture added an extra layer of depth to our journey, making it truly unforgettable. I must commend Desert trips organizers for securing such exceptional local guides for this journey. Keep up the excellent work!! Got a lovely taste of Morocco and I can’t wait to be back!
The Desert Trips Co. is really amazing! Our tour guide Omar did a great job and gave us a wonderful time there. Med is very helpful and informative person. I hope someday I could come back to your lovely country again. Thanks again and I do appreciate everything your team has done for me! 謝謝你們! 希望有一天我們可以再回來這個地方與你們相聚!
We just returned from a fantastic 12d 11n trip to Morocco. Desert Trips' travel designer was a pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to help us understand our options and worked with us through multiple versions before landing on the itinerary we ultimately chose 12day 11night. We were able to just enjoy the beauty of Morocco and the excitement of the trip without worry of who was going to pick us up or how we were going to get to our next spot. We were very pleased with the five-star accommodations he recommended, the pace of the activities included, and the order of the destinations we visited. The guides made the trip incredibly enjoyable. They were so knowledgeable, so we learned so much on the trip, more than we ever thought we would. But we also felt incredibly safe and comfortable with them!
The trip was well planned out, communication was on point, and fit all of our needs as a family of 3! Maybe we got lucky, but our travel specialist, Med, was top notch. He is very knowledgeable about traveling in Morocco. He totally understood all of our issues for the trip our desires and our concerns. He responded to every one of our questions right away. The activities he suggested for us were spot on for what we like to do and perfect. The accommodations were perfect riad and hotels in the best locations that allowed us to walk around town and really get a feel for the local culture. We were blown away by the hospitality and care that went into our stays. Everything felt so personalized from start to finish. Our driver, Said, was always punctual, professional, and friendly, which made moving between destinations effortless. I couldn’t have enjoyed this trip more! Overall, this was a great memorable trip with special friends. Thank you for all your planning and help and hopefully this review will shed some light for other future travellers and what the offerings are in Morocco. You guys crushed it!!!
The trip was well planned. They selected interesting hotels with Moroccan character and charm for us. Everything flowed so nicely as we went to different regions from Casablanca to Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fez, Merzouga, and then Marrakech. Loved our personal driver Mustapha, he made every day fun. We enjoyed all of our tours and adventures and felt that they were nicely spaced out and easy to check in and experience. All in all, we're most grateful for the kindness and hospitality shown by all.
My family (me and my wife, my mother, and my 3.5 year old boy) booked this trip. It was a great experience. We started at Casablanca, then visited Rabat, Assila, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes (and quickly Meknes), the Sahara Desert, and Marrakech. At each stop, there was a local English-speaking guide, who walked us through local places of interest. Our driver for the 12 days, Said, was excellent. He was super friendly and helpful, and made every effort to make the trip smooth. My 3.5 year old boy loved him and at the end of the trip, they became friends! This is my first time visiting North Africa and I enjoyed it. Rich history and culture, gorgeous landscape. I am very satisfied.
We were very lucky to have Said as our driver. He shared his stories with us and introduced every town and city we passed, along with their traditions. He also brought us to try many delicious foods along the way, such as fresh avocados, figs, dates and pomegranate juice. I truly appreciated that he helped us find Tafarnout bread — it was incredibly tasty. Besides that, he even gave us some small handmade gifts, which really surprised us. My favorite part is that the first day when Said took us to the Hassan II Mosque to enjoy the beautiful view before other tourists arrived, and on the last day, he brought us back again to see the amazing sunrise. It was truly an unforgettable journey, and I’ll keep these wonderful memories in my heart.
We did a 12D trip with DesertTrips and it was amazing and memorable. This trip is fantastic! and definitely beyond our expectations. Right from the beginning when we contacted DesertTrips for a proposal, Med was fast in responding. Each time when we had questions, he answered patiently and gave us very detailed information. He even happily upgraded our hotel in Marrakech when requested. The itinerary was well planned, good pace for us to see this beautiful country without having to rush. Accommodations were all above our expectations. The one night luxury desert camp stay was wonderful, definitely once in a lifetime experience. Well worth it. Our driver Said is definitely one of the best driver we ever had. He is responsible and took good care of us. He would always ask whether we were doing ok, and made sure we are satisfied. Every morning he would give us water and asked us to drink fresh water of the day. He even go the extra mile to buy us fresh fruit on the way, and brought us to nice place out of the itinerary. Said, you are excellent, wonderful, fantastic and awesome ! Zwin…Ihlaa…. Overall this trip is fun, informative and definitely memorable. All places we went were nice and interesting. We loved the scenery, the friendly and warm people and the rich culture. I would definitely recommend to others, Morocco as a travel destination and DesertTrips as a local agent.
Great driver and make us have very good memory in Marocco. Omar is great.
Our trip to Morocco was truly unforgettable and a big part of that was thanks to our incredible driver, Said. From start to finish everything was seamless and so well organised. We never had to worry about logistics, transportation, accommodation and activities were all handled smoothly which allowed us to simply enjoy this experience. Our driver and guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. They shared fascinating insight into the Moroccan culture and history and also gave us plenty of space to enjoy moments on our own. Their warmth and professionalism made the whole journey feel effortless. We came away with wonderful memories, new knowledge, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of Morocco. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and truly recommend this trip to anyone. A special thanks to Said, our driver who went above and beyond to make our experience safe and comfortable. Chris and Deb
We are a group of 4 persons and I decided to do this 12-day 11-night trip to Morocco after reading the great reviews. Med & Khalil were a great help in organizing our private tour. He took the time to answer all our questions promptly and in detail. All of our accommodations were well-curated in a good location that allowed for easy access to major sites, and we truly would not have changed a single thing about the itinerary. We really appreciated the level of communication and competitive pricing. We feel the tour was more than worth the money paid. Morocco is a country with exceptional topography, fascinating history, and beautiful kind people. I highly recommend anyone that’s thinking of booking in should!! You won’t regret it!! Omar was our guide and driver and he was an excellent driver on roads and with traffic I wouldn't have wanted to tackle. He was great at introducing us to Moroccan food and culture and told us so much about his country, history, customs, and traditions! He made sure we were safe and delivered us to our lovely accommodations, picked us up on time, and stopped at highlights along the way and took pictures (The photos are priceless). He was very accommodating and we really got lucky having him for our tour. I am truly grateful for all that Omar did and I feel like I have made a true Moroccan friend. The trip was compact and relaxed. Morocco is a wonderfully diverse country from the quieter city of Chefchaouen to the bustling Marrakech but it is the wonderful friendly people who enhanced our trip. The accommodations Med had selected for us, especially the Riads in Fes and Marrakech were fantastic not only were they beautiful but the staff were superb. The level of hospitality was unparalleled they treat you like family and made sure you were comfortable, and the food was out of this world. I hope to return and I will encourage my friends to explore Morocco
We are seasoned travelers and we strongly considered touring around Morocco on our own. We are so glad we changed our mind and decided to hire Desert Trips! Said, our driver, was always there for us and even helped us with some small errands. He knows the country very well and that made a difference. The agency was always open to adjust the itinerary to our preferences and they even included a visit to a cheese maker upon my request. The accommodations were great. I was a bit concerned because I am a bit picky in this regard but the staff was always top level and the rooms very good. We could not have explored Morocco like that on our own.
Our group of three female friends enjoyed a fabulous trip to Morocco organised by Desert Trips. The 10 day itinerary was very well planned and everything ran smoothly. The trip was busy but so interesting, full of colour and culture, and we were amazed at the diversity of landscapes throughout the country. Med was very easy to communicate with and he followed up on any questions promptly. Our accommodation in riads was very special, every place completely unique. Local guides in the major cities were informative and fun. And finally many thanks to our driver Said who got us to our destinations safely each day. Said was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed his company along the way. I would definitely recommend Desert Trips to others.
We selected the Desert Trip tour company when we visited Morocco in May of 2025. Omar picked us up at the Casablanca airport and welcomed us to Morocco. He is an excellent and safe driver and knowledgeable about his country. We spent 10 days with him during our tour and he was always on time picking us up and planning a full day of activities for us with balanced breaks. Omar even introduced his own family to us so we can have first-hand experience to learn how local lives in the country. Having Omar as our tour guide truly made our vacation extra special. If anyone is reading this and plans to visit Morocco, make sure you request Omar to be your tour guide. You won't disappoint with him.
I usually do my own research, planning, and coordination of our trips, but going to Morocco was out of my wheelhouse. I reached out to several companies similar to DesertTrips, but found Med to be the most responsive and attentive to our specific preferences. He created an itinerary for my sister and I that met all of our requests. The hotels, guides....were of total excellence!! I want to make two special mentions: for our driver, Moha, and for our guide in Marrakech, they were amazing, and thanks to them, we had unforgettable moments. I truly recommend their entire team 100%, they organized the best trip of our lives!!
Unforgettable 10 trips trip in Morocco. Travel with Omar was a great experience. He was professional, kind and funny. He took care of us all the time. It was very comfortable and safe.
We had a great experience working with Desert Trips . Our trip was organized perfectly. They customized it for us and added one extra day for activities we wanted to do. We spend 11 days traveling through the most interesting cities and areas of Morocco with our personal driver Said, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about history of his country, and a great driver! We would never find all the places we got to visit on our own, and driving in big cities of Morocco is not easy 😊. Sahara desert with ridding camels was one of the highlights of the trip, and visiting a nomad family was very interesting. Nature and scenery was breathtaking, we even got to see wild monkeys. Riads we stayed in, were all comfortable and each was unique . Thank you Desert Trips and Said for our magical vacation!
One of our main requirements for this tour were to visit as many unesco sites as possible in a round trip of Morocco and desert trips did not disappoint by giving us an itinerary that has this and more. We had Said accompanying us throughout the trip and he made our journey extra special. He is always punctual, polite and a safe driver. He knows the road very well and made all the necessary arrangements with the tour guides and accommodation for us at each location. We are super pleased with him. Overall, it was a splendid trip and I will not hesitate to recommend to anyone who wants a customised tour of Morocco.
DesertTrips were first class in providing an experience to look back on and remember affectionately. This trip is the icing on the cake. Lovely riads & hotel, great excursions, but one of the most important factors was that driver/guide Said, combined efficiency with a great sense of humour and was with me for the entire tour. I can’t thank him enough for taking care of me so well the entire trip. The local guides in Rabat, Fes, and Marrakech were excellent. My first visit to this beautiful country and I enjoyed every minute. My day trips to Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, and Marrakech enabled me to appreciate the surrounding rif mountains, desert, Atlas mountains, and to absorb the history and stunning architecture of that region of Morocco. So many wonderful and unforgettable experiences. I can not praise DesertTrips enough, I was enchanted and I would definitely recommend this trip.
Communication via whatsApp and email was perfect, clear and really helpful. The perfect itinerary that balanced the best of Morocco. Said was a great driver, he was amazing and constantly checked that we were happy. Great accommodation and super clean and efficient private transfers in particular. So much easier than trying to put everything together one's self. For the cost and ease of admin we would definitely book with them again.
I booked a private tour for my parents in November and I put it together with the help of this great team. They are elderly with some mobility issues so I was a little nervous but they had the best time! In 12 day they were able to explore Casablanca, Meknes, Fes, Chefchaouen, Tetouan, Tangier, Asilah, Rabat, Essaouira, Agadir, and Marrakesh. My dad said he had the best driver he had ever experienced. They were impressed with the assistance and kindness they received throughout the trip! The entire trip was very well organized and planned with great attention to detail. Well done Deserttrips, I was so impressed with something I arranged completely online. Highly recommended!!
It was a true pleasure to have such a stress free trip with private transportation, all accommodations, and tours arranged and prepaid by Deserttrips. It took into account the regions we wanted to visit and recommended the best locations to stay which made access convenient. The itinerary was perfect, highlighting the very best that a great country has to offer. They are very flexible about how involved you need her to be and are willing to work with your budget. In addition, the local tour guides planned for us were very knowledgeable, personable, and flexible. One thing that stood out is how well regarded the staff and accommodations at riad el Palacio & spa in Chefchaouen were spectacular. We received an upgrade to a lovely suite for our first two nights in Chefchaouen. Our suite at the riad Paradise in Dades was lovely with an incredible view. Those riads and hotels, as well as riad Ahlam in Fes, were in great locations. The full breakfasts and various tours were lovely as well. During our 12 day in Morocco, we were lucky to have Said as our driver/guide, he gave us the historical background of every attraction in the tour while enjoying his company and conversations throughout our journeys. It was a pleasure spending all these days in his company, and made our experience spectacular! This trip was active - you're on the go and seeing incredible things almost all day, every day!!! Overall, we highly recommend!!
This was by far our most enjoyable trip ever. Deserttrips made the arrangements for everything. They were able to put together a plan that took all our goals into account, mixing big attractions and small ones. We booked a 12-day tour and had a top guide. His care and hospitality were unmatched. Tariq made us feel at home, helping us navigate the moroccan culture and customs. Thank you Tariq. Every detail was so well thought through.. Med made our planning so easy. We changed things several times with no problems. Just told him what we wanted, and he sent us several itineraries till we found the one that suited us. Answered any and all questions we had about traveling to Morocco. Great to talk to someone who's in country to help with your questions. As for our vacation, everything went flawlessly thanks to deserttrips. they had everything set up for us from hotels/riads, tour guides, and transportation.... (with pick up and drop off). Made the vacation so effortless for us. If you're looking to going on vacation to morocco contact them you won't regret it. I could go on but suffice it to say that it's the best vacation we've ever had !!!
I just came back from my 12 days trip around Morocco with our private driver Said. who really made the experience exceptional. He took us everywhere and was so helpful and friendly. He made our journeys safe and comfortable. And can I just say what an amazing experience, so many memories I will treasure for life. Went into this trip a bit worried about how it was all going to work but soon enough turned into the best time of my life. The itinerary they crafted was perfectly balanced, allowing me to explore iconic cities and hidden gems across the trip. Each destination offered a unique cultural experience, and the accommodations were comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Our local guides in both Casablanca, Fes, and Marrakech made us feel properly welcome and helped us break through the crowds of tourists to unearth the authentic charm of these cities. Last but not least, thank you Deserttrips for making my traveling dream a reality! I would 5⭐️ recommend them and I look forward to booking with them again!
Started our tour in Casablanca, I had been in Morocco previously with the same company, and wanted to see the beautiful coast this time. It did not disappoint!! Agadir was spectacular, with wonderful views and beautiful beeches! We rode the gondola to the kasbah for a tour, and again beautiful views!! Essaouira was another enchanting city, with spectacular ocean views and the City market was very relaxing to walk around and find all our treasures! It felt like the beach went on for miles and miles as we drove along the beech and stopped to see the sunset! Such a romantic experience!! On our way to Tangier we stopped at Asilah a very unique town in Morocco as there was artwork all over the walls! Tangier was of course as amazing as I’d heard! But the water was colder than expected! It was beautiful. The tour was well organized, as I’ve come to expect from DessertTrips and our driver was wonderful!! Always felt very safe and we were able to just relax and enjoy! I can’t recommend this tour enough!!
My husband and I wanted to soak up every minute of our 11 day holiday so we contacted Med, who was very responsive and flexible with arranging everything, which is exactly what I needed since I did not have time to research. Though, side note, if you do have time to research and don’t like spending every day driving for hours, I’d suggest choosing a few places and staying in one place at least a couple nights. Just let Med know and I’m sure he will customize it for you. Onto the tour, we actually flew into Agadir and they were able to pick us up from our Airbnb at the original quoted price. We weren’t sure what to expect, but Hssain, our driver/guide, was completely reliable from the beginning. We didn’t have to worry about leaving our luggage, which had multiple laptops, with him and he constantly helped us with our bags. He also had to wait for us everyday as we struggled to get up and eat breakfast on time, sorry about that Hssain! As time passed and we got to know each other more, he realized what we mainly wanted to experience was local food so instead of taking us to the touristic restaurants, he would help us find the things we wanted to try. Hssain was also very open to discuss any topics we were curious about which was great. The company in general has some awesome people and they all seem to love what they do. Since we ended our tour in Marrakech in the evening, they were able to arrange the local guide for us the next day (so it was somewhat a 12 day tour). Shout out to Mustafa, the local guide, who was the most informative guide we’ve had. We also met Khalil that day and he was very friendly, even inviting us to cook tagine with him and Hssain since we’re stuck in Morocco. We had a great time doing that with them yesterday. Overall, thank you to the whole team, especially Hssain! We highly recommend booking your Morocco tour with DesertTrips!
The new experience, with the guide driver, while leading us on a mountain and water tour, as well as into the desert area, on a camel ride, is extraordinary. The guide driver (Cy) is a dedicated driver, he will explain the tourist attractions and will be concerned about the safety of my girlfriend and me, it's great, and thank you to the company for arranging, the hotels are great, this is my first private tour of this kind, it leaves a good impression on me, I will recommend friends to this private customized journey, thank you again (Cy) and the company for all the arrangements.., 👍👍...
