We just returned from a fantastic private 12 day tour through Morocco arranged with Alexandra from Siroco tours. From the very beginning, Alexandra, was amazing — she offered wonderful suggestions and was incredibly flexible, adjusting the itinerary to fit our preferences and needs. She was professional, resourceful and responsive to our requests and answered all of our questions in detail. She offered great ideas for a personal itinerary for our group of two couples and we were extremely satisfied with the places she recommended to visit and the wonderful hotels and riads that we stayed in. We were especially fortunate to have Zaid as our guide throughout the trip and our driver Moustapha. They took great care of us always making sure we were comfortable and safe and did so much to make this trip memorable for us. Zaid, was absolutely amazing. He was kind, knowledgeable, patient, fun and always attentive to our comfort and safety. Thanks to him, we were able to experience Morocco in a way that felt authentic, and deeply memorable. He and Moustapha didn't just take us from one place to another; they shared the local culture and traditions with us as if we were old friends. On one unforgettable day they took us to a traditional berber wedding of one of Zaid’s friends and then Ziad invited us to his parents house for mint tea and traditional snacks with his parents and to meet his aunt and some of his cousins. Everywhere we went in Morocco Zaid and Moustapha seemed to know people and greeted each other with warmth and affection. Through them we had a wonderful introduction and immersion into the history and culture of the Berber people. Moustapha was an excellent driver and we felt safe even when navigating some roads on our way to the desert that had been flooded by recent rains. We trusted both him and Zaid and were so glad we had them to get us from place to place! We also had wonderful local city guides in Rabat ( Abdul), Fez (Adil?), Meknes ( Rashid) and Marrakesh (Salem). Each one of them was so knowledgeable and eager to share the sites and history of their respective cities and of the country of Morocco. There were so many highlights from the trip, the old medinas in Fez and Marrakesh, the beauty of Rabat, the amazing Atlas Mountains, the beautiful beaches and vistas at Essaouria, the camel ride into the sunset and our camp stay in the beautiful sand dunes of the Sahara desert. We especially treasure the special connection that developed over the two weeks with our guide Zaid and our driver Moustapha. It was hard to say goodbye! We highly recommend Siroco tours if you are thinking of visiting Morocco. You will not be disappointed.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Arrive at the airport of Casablanca where our guide greet you and welcome you to the country! The starting point and ending point and the day of the first can be adjusted.
After arriving, we will go to one the major wonders of Morocco: the Hassan II Mosque, the second highest in the world, and one rare example of mosques that can be visited by non-Muslims. In the mosque your guide will teach you about the religious traditions and rituals of the Muslim religion. In the words of the authors of the book Morocco Country Study Guide, the Hassan II Mosque "undeniably marks the continuity of a modernized ancestral art and bears the sign of innovations that are due not only to technical reasons but also to a fertile exploration of new aesthetic possibilities".
For the fans of cinema, you can have dinner at Rick’s café(prior booking required), which attempts to recreate the bar made famous by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in the movie classic Casablanca. Set in an old courtyard-style mansion built against the walls of the Old Medina of Casablanca, the restaurant – piano bar is filled with architectural and decorative details reminiscent of the film: curved arches, a sculpted bar, balconies, balustrades as well as beaded and stencilled brass lighting and plants that cast luminous shadows on white walls.
Day 2
2
Wine tasting near Meknes. On this gently bumpy land, where the Guerrouan tribe once lived, the vines are at home here. The climate is Mediterranean with its dry summers swept by the chergui (the Moroccan " sirocco "), its stormy autumns and its wet winters. With qualities similar to wines of Bordeaux, the wines of Meknès are sweeter and more mature than the French due to the climate of the region. This area is the only one in Morocco that is DOC (controlled denomination of origin) for the production of wines in Morocco. You can have lunch and spend the afternoon in this beautiful farmhouse, while sampling various wines or enjoying them during a picnic. Highlight for red wines, which are consistently well ranked in international competitions and have already won several medals. (Wine tasting & lunch are not included)
You can also spend the afternoon in Meknes with an official guide to show you the city. Dar Jamai museum, a Moroccan museum of modern art including painting, jewelry, pottery and tapestry. The museum is housed in an old palace that includes a mosque, a hammam and outdoor gardens. Then you can visit a 14th-century Muslim religious school and also the legacy of Almoravids, an important dynasty of the twelfth century, present in Meknes.
In Arabic, bab stands for "gate" or "door". Bab Mansour - the biggest and most amazing of all twenty-seven gates in Meknes. They are located directly opposite the main square of Medina "El Hedim".
The mausoleum of Sultan Ismail is a majestic building of the city of Meknes. The inner courtyard of the mausoleum is decorated with mosaic, fountains, engraved marble, carved with cedar ceiling, and the floor of the mausoleum is covered with luxurious Meknes carpets. (The entrance to the hall for the remains of the great sultan is forbidden for non-Muslims).
After arriving in Fes you can take a panoramic tour before enjoying the view of the city from the top of one of the beautiful cafés of this city.
Day 3
3
Spend the morning and part of the afternoon visiting medina de Fes, described by Paul Bowles as "an enchanted labyrinth protected from time”. You will be with a guide specifically dedicated to this city, so that you can discover it deeply: its corners, traditions, stories and history. The labyrinthycal medina de Fes has more than 9000 streets, in a magical environment between light and shadow, and it is considered a World Heritage Site. The city has reached its peak in the 13th century, becoming a centre of knowledge, having one of the world’s oldest universities. You will be able to visit the most important palaces, the Jewish quarters, the Madrassa and pass by the coranic school. Furthermore, you will visit the authentic handicraft of Fes and its tannery, work of leathers. It is possible to buy fantastic leather products very cheaply and near the origin of production, where ancient methods are still used.
Located in the center of the old medina, it is one of the great meeting points of many tourists, who come here to see how the skin is worked in Fez and what materials they use to dye it. You will see a lot of pools of different colors where they put the skin. Of course, in this square the posts, being more tourist, have higher prices. It's worth getting here to see the hustle and bustle of hundreds of years of craftsmanship.
Medersa Attarine is the pearl of medieval Moorish architecture. It was built in the XIV century by Sultan Abu Said Othman. For hundreds of years, the madrasah has remained virtually untouched. Now it attracts tourists with its luxurious decor.
The Karaouine mosque is the second largest mosque in Morocco, after the new Hassan II mosque in Casablanca. A pity that we who are not Muslims can not enter this Mosque. It is located in the heart of the medina, and despite having the doors open we can look out from the inside. The mequita is surrounded by madrasas, the best of them is Madrsa Attarin, built in the 14th century. It highlights its interior marble patio with cedar and alabaster decorations.
Bou Inania Medersa is an ancient school in the old city of Fez. It is named after its founder, the sultan of the Merinid dynasty Abu Inan, built in the middle of the XII century in the traditional Arabic style. At that time it was the only school in which only boys from 8 to 10 years studied. It was not only an educational institution, but also a place for prayer, which took place every Friday.
Day 4
4
We will leave in the morning to visit the magical cedars’ forests of Azrou and Ifran where you will be dazzled with its spectacular native nature. The atmosphere is calm, clear and rich in nature’s scents. Discover the middle Atlas, a magical forest, with a dreamlike native nature. This forest has many secret and wonderful places that are yet to be explored touristically. You will be able to see stunning landscapes through the natural park. In the middle atlas there are springs and waterfalls, flanked by small traditional Berber villages. You can visit a farm that produces home-made cheeses, which you can taste as a snack, along with the organic honey produced here. Enjoy your hotel in this paradisiacal place which showcases a sumptuous European design aesthetic that beautifully compliments the stunning natural scenery, teeming with wildlife, and unbridled adventure.
Day 5
5
On our journey we will make a brief stop in Midelt, a small town between the High and the Middle Atlas, an exceptional location to watch the exuberant mountain landscape.
Then we head towards the desert. We will pass through the fertile valley of Ziz, one of the largest oases in the world and you can enjoy a panoramic view. Inside this forest of palm trees where the floor is covered with aromatic herbs and preserves all its authenticity. On the way to the desert you will pass in Erfoud. Near Erfoud there are excavations of fossils where today there are several fossils of trilobites among other primitive species. This allows us to conclude that the soil of the Sahara desert was, in very ancient times, the bottom of an ocean.
Arrive in Merzouga, you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan tea as a welcome sign of affection. For the ones who crave adventure, you can do activities like scavenger hunts and other challenges with these 4x4 quad bikes in the great dunes of the desert. After that it's time for ridding a camel through the desert for about an hour to visit some of the most beautiful oases of the desert. You will also visit the dunes of Merzouga, a UNESCO world heritage site. The colors of the late afternoon in the dunes are the delight of those who enjoy photography. Enjoy watching the sunset at the top of a dune. Then you can have an unforgettable night under a blanket of stars in the sky. There, dinner will be served and then there will be traditional live music around a bonfire! And then the silence of the night will fall and you won't hear anything besides your own voice or your companions'. The sky is clear and full of stars.
Day 6
6
Wake up after an unforgettable night and feel the cold light invading the open space of the desert. You can climb to top of a dune, while the desert is waking up. After an unforgettable night in the desert, getting to know its culture, traditions and trade, you will leave for something completely different, the rocky landscape of the Gorges and the high Atlas and the green beauty of the Dadès Valley. You will have the unique opportunity to explore the gorges of Todra, towering rock cliffs that reach 600 meters in height, separated by only 10 m in width and that extend through several kilometers.
Passing by the astonishing Dadès Valley, where you hear the sound of the birds in the green valley.
You will also meet Kalaat Mgouna - The City of Roses, where the surrounding landscape is complemented by the full aroma of the roses found in this valley. Then we will visit the oasis of Skoura, a green and fresh paradise, with one of the largest palm tree forests in Morocco. Spend the night in a lovely lodging.
Day 7
7
We follow through the "Route of the One Thousand Kasbahs", until Kalaat Mgouna - The City of the Roses. We will also have the opportunity to visit the traditional villages of Skoura and 'El Kelaa des M'Gouna. A Kashbah is an ancient form of Castle, and even the word “Castle” has its origins in the word “Kashbah”. After that, we will go to Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou, which are two locations of great historical and cultural relief in the Atlas, allowing us to feel as we have traveled in time to see the landscape and the lives of those who dedicated themselves to trade. In Ouarzazate you can discover the ancient wall, the fortification of Kasba Taouirt and the palace of the Pasha Glaoui. You can visit the movie studios of Ouarzazate, which are the most important in North Africa, that have been used in films such as the famous "Lawrence of Arabia" or "Gladiator".
Ait Benhaddou is considered a World Heritage Place by UNESCO and it is the most important point in the "Route of the One Thousand Kasbahs", a route of small fortifications that would allow the defense of the caravans of trade on its route between the Sahara Desert and the city of Marrakesh. It is still inhabited and used as a set to movies as "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones", among many others, to keep their identity and charisma intact.
The day will end with dinner at the fantastic Jamaa el Fna square, where the mix of smells, music and spectacles are inspiring, and where tourists and locals often merge and dine side by side. Here you can experience the best of Moroccan street cuisine, among a variety of different sandwiches, teas. There are various stalls with a different specialty, and of course, the typical dishes, from Tagine to Couscous. All at Moroccan prices. It is an experience not to be missed.
Day 8
8
On this day, we will visit Marrakech, the peal of the South, and the cosmopolitan centre of the country. The surprising architecture, the intense scent of spices, the colorful and exotic atmosphere, and the small corners and secrets of its history make this city the most desired and visited city of Morocco. During the day you will be accompanied by a touristic guide/historian exclusively dedicated to the city of Marrakech, so that you can enjoy the best the city has to offer. The attractions are multiple: the Bahia Palace (opulent building from the 19th century), the Ben Youssef Medersa (old Muslim university), Majorelle’s gardens, etc. In this unforgettable day you will be able to visit all of them. Enjoy also the Souk (traditional market), where the commerce, the city’s main activity, is chaotic.
Ben Youssef Medersa: This Islamic faculty from the 12th century was ordered by the sultan Ali ibn Yusuf of Morocco. Today it is a museum that can be visited. The interiors are wonderful, all decorated and its architecture is exquisite.
Bahia Palace: This incredible palace from the 19th century was extravagantly built to be the best of Marrakech. It has an enormous garden, a central courtyard and several rooms amazingly decorated with works from artisans that purposely came to Marrakech from Fez to work.
Koutoubia Mosque: Without any doubt this is the most famous and most photographed monument of Marrakech. The Koutoubia Mosque was built on the 12th century and was a model to the Seville’s Giralda and Hassan’s Tower in Rabat.
Majorelle Gardens: This is the only botanical garden in Marrakech. It was projected by Jacques Majorelle and it belongs to Yves Saint-Laurent and Bergé Pierre since 1980. Enjoy a walk surrounded by exotic plants from all over the world.
Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which has a permanent exhibition and also temporary exhibitions, with masterpieces of this famous creator. The building itself has charming modern architecture with traditional touches.
Day 9
9
Free day to explore the red city! It is possible to have the unique experience of climbing to the skies in a hot air balloon(prior booking) and flying over Marrakesh and its palmeraie. You will have a privileged view of this ancient city as well as the Atlas mountains. Adventure unfolds in tandem with the sights, markets, activities and the call of the culinary exploration!
Saadian Tombs: These tombs from the 16th century were ordered by Ahmad al-Mansur and in there were the bodies of around 60 members of the Saadian Dynasty originated from the valley of the Draa River, on the south. Curiously the tombs were only founded in 1917, being now one of the most visited monuments in Marrakesh.
La Menara: This garden of Marrakesh is located 2 km away from the Jemaa el-Fna Square and it is the favorite place for all the Marrakchis to walk on a Sunday afternoon. These gardens were built in the 12th century, but the recent layout is from the 16th century.
La Koubba almoravid: This rare almoravid building from the 12th century was ordered by Ali Ben Youssef from Morocco in 1106. You can visit the complex and see a water reservoir for cleaning before the prayer, with a impressive roof.
Palais Dar Bacha, or Musée de Confluences, a wonderful example of Arab architecture. They have a very special cafeteria, where you can taste coffees from all over the world, in a charming atmosphere.
Day 10
10
Set out for a day dedicated to the artistic Essaouira, full of surprises, novelties and unique cuisine, especially fresh fish and argan oil, a rich oil similar to olive oil, but with a more roasted color and to nuts, which makes the food delicious. Essaouira is one of the most enchanting cities on the Moroccan coast and a multicultural arts center that has fallen in love with people like Jimi Hendrix, Orson Welles and Bob Marley. With a maritime aroma that permanently invades the corners of its medina, the city of Essaouira stands out for its urban life, culture and gastronomy. This coastal area, since the time when Carthage was an empire, has always been considered one of the best anchorages in the North African Atlantic. Its Medina was built in the 18th century, and is one of the few in the world that actually had architectural planning. It was at this time that the city was named Essaouira, which literally means “the beautifully designed one”.
Day 11
11
You can spend a relaxed morning on the beach of Essaouira. Then we set out for El Jadida, a small port city, formerly controlled by Portugal, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formerly called Marzagão, this city has a Manueline cistern (built by the Portuguese in 1514 for storing water), one of its greatest attractions. You can also see the chapel of S. Sebastião and the façade of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, a Manueline style church whose façade has recently been recovered (but not inside the church).

What a great private tour! My family and I had an amazing experience in Morocco! The itinerary planned was perfect. We loved seeing the beautiful scenery of Morocco and experiencing the different landscapes. We were quite in awe with how different each city was; especially only being a few hours away from each other. We also enjoyed the comfortable van ride to each destination. Radouan was an excellent tour guide. We felt like he was family at the end of the trip. Thank you for providing a great service! I will be sure to recommend your company to friends and family as well as use you again in the future.
From 13 October to 29 October, I visited Morocco with my daughter through Siroco Tours. As pioneers among our relatives, friends, and colleagues, many were eager to hear about our experiences and comments. Alexandra and Mohammad worked diligently to show us that Siroco Tours was a reliable company. The accommodations were exceptional, and the car was clean, comfortable, and spacious, making long-distance travel safe and enjoyable. Our driver, Yassin, was excellent. He was polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Despite the long hours on the road, he drove safely and provided valuable cultural and historical information throughout our journey. He also took us to some special authentic shops at our request, becoming more than just a driver. We miss him dearly. In Volubilis, our guide, Alalla, delivered a professional, patient, and informative service. He impressed us with his knowledge and made us feel that he was well qualified for the job. Another guide in Marrakech, Mohammad, was also excellent. He was considerate and took great care of us as we explored various spots. Both guides significantly contributed to making our trip perfect. I highly recommend Siroco Tours to anyone who wants to experience Morocco. I hope to join them again in the future!
Morocco was not at the top of my list for travel, but my sister recommended it after taking her family on a vacation there with Siroco Tours. Her excitement in describing what a fantastic time they had, along with hundreds of photos, convinced my wife and I to book a trip, along with my daughter and her new husband. Even my sisters over the top review fell far short of describing what we found once there. Morocco is a beautiful country with modern and ancient cities, beaches, mountains, and of course deserts. Siroco Tours set it up so that we saw it all. We experienced the hustle and bustle of Casablanca as well as the almost surreal serenity of a Riad in Marrakech. We got to watch the sun come up in the crisp morning air of the Atlas Mountains and the crisp morning air of the Sahara Desert. I had my feet in the sands of the Atlantic ocean and the desert. We toured medinas, kasbahs, and a movie study. They local guides Siroco set us up with were excellent. Our guide and driver made recommendations for restaurants and walking tours of cities we could do on are own. We also got to see the countries artisans at work. We saw rugs, tiles and clothing all being hand made. We saw the processing of fragrances, oils and spices. Siroco planned everything out very well. The staff could not have been better. From helping us pick the tour we wanted to answering the hundreds of questions we had, they were always professional but in a very friendly way. They were also very prompt in replying to us. Mohamed, Alexandra, and Pedro were who we frequently spoke to. Once we were in Morocco, Aissa was our driver and Radouan was our tour guide. Before the end of the day they were no longer our driver and guide, they were family friends that took great care of us for the next 12 days, and gave us a great tour of the places and people of Morocco. Both are very knowledgable about, the history, customs, and people of Morocco. We felt completely safe in their care. Although our schedule was well planned out, they found a way to make it work if got up a little late, or wanted to spend a little more time, or make a side trip. We even got set up to have a home cooked meal in a local household. It turned out to be the best meal of our trip. Until now I dont ever remember getting contact info from tour guides before. I have also talked witg them several times since being back in the states. Its already a long review so I will stop now. You must see Morocc, and you should see it with Sirocco tours. If you can have Aissa and Radouan as your driver and guide even better, although I am sure all their guides are good.
From the very first contact with Siroco Tours, Alexandra provided excellent service helping us customise our private tour for four friends. The week before we were due to start our tour we had a sudden family emergency and had to reschedule our initial plans. Alexandra was very understanding and arranged cancellation of some accommodation, and a driver to take us to a meeting point to continue with our friends on tour. We had agreed to the four/five star accommodation option which included many beautiful Riads, Sahara Desert glamping tents, magnificent Oasis stop and Atlas Mountain “rustic charm”. The vehicle we travelled in was a comfortable, air conditioned, spacious van. There was plenty of room for four pieces of luggage and back packs. Our driver (Aissa) and Tour guide (Radouan) were absolutely fabulous. We had some quite long driving days and with Aissa’s safe and attentive driving we never had to worry about what was happening outside the car. Radouan’s personality shone through from our first day together. He was fun and engaging the whole trip, and his knowledge of Morocco was outstanding. We loved the diversity of Morocco and this tour and would absolutely recommend this tour/Tour Guide/Driver to others.
We had just finished a two week tour with Siroco in April. Our tour guide was Momo and our driver was Abdel. They are just awesome! We started from Casablanca, then visited Rabat, Chefchauen, Volubilis and Fez. Spent a few days in Merzouga desert, riding ATV and sand boarding in the desert, which was so much fun (highly recommended). Additionally, we rode camels to watch sunset in the desert. We then headed to a resort in Draa Valley to unwind. After, we headed to Marrakech. We managed to visit Todgha Gorge on the way. It was spectacular! On the road, we had encountered sunny and rainy sky, sandstorm, rainstorm and even floods on the road, which was exciting. Our Siroco team was great. Originally visiting Todgha Gorge was not on the plan, but as we passed through the area, we decided to visit it on the fly. Momo was able to make the detour in time. It was not an easy change, but he and Abdel were able to handle the situation with thoughtfulness and calm. Overall, we had so much fun doing this trip. Ate so much tagine, visited many medinas, learned how to bargain with the local vendors (though I still need a lot more practice!) and drank my fill of sugarcane juices. Oh, and the oranges were delicious! It was an awesome experience and I wish I could have stayed longer!
We email Alexandra to ask for trip itinerary, she is very patient to answer all my question , I’m feel happy and decide to follow Siroco tours . I met Hassan and idir for our trips , Hassan is our tour guide and idir is our driver ,both of them with us for 12 days tour. We are happy with their services , they just like our family for these few days , we are glad that they are services us . I wish we can have more days with them next time . we are happy to recommend to others
My trip through the Siroco tour agency was excellent as agreed. The driving guide Mr.Mobarak speaks Spanish and Portuguese very well. Mr. Mobarak and Mr. Rachid are very polite. Ms. Alexandra from the Agency also gave great service. I highly recommend traveling with the Siroco Tour. I give 5 stars to the driver guide mr. Mobarak and the Siroco Tour Agency. Congratulations for the work. My trip was on December 20th, 2019.
My wife and I booked a two-week tour for early December 2024 with Siroco. We had many emails and a Zoom call with Leonor and Alexandra to customize a tour exactly to what we wanted. They were very pleasant, patient, and offered candid, expert advice, even steering us away from things that sounded good in the guidebooks but which their experience suggested were best avoided given our goals for the trip. What amazing service! Their curated selection of hotels and activities was outstanding, perfectly tuned to our interests in the various locations. A couple of the riads are among our favorite hotels in any of our travels. Our entire experience, simply stated, was wonderful. Our guide for the 14-day trip, Radouan, was excellent, as was Eissa, our expert driver – such a great team and people we will always remember. We are grateful for everything they and Siroco did for us. We recommend them 100%. They could not have been easier or more accessible to our many inquiries, both before we left and when we were in country. We especially like their ability to connect us with genuine, local, non-touristic experiences with real Moroccans, and to customize the trip to our desired combination of adventure and luxury. We also believe the cost of our tour was a great value. On the actual business transaction with Siroco, when first booking, we thought it was very unusual that we had to bring a big pile of cash and hand it over to a stranger upon arrival for the whole tour, but that is the way it works, and it is perfectly fine despite our “training” to be leery of such things. Siroco can absolutely be trusted; it is just a different system in Morocco. We found Morocco to be a beautiful, completely safe country filled with welcoming people eager to share the wonders of their country with us. The weather was perfect, and being low season, we often had entire hotels to ourselves. Just be sure to pack an extra suitcase for all of the things you will buy along the way. We filled two of them.
This tour was incredible from the planning to the last minute hugs at the airport. Every day was a new adventure and Morocco is a beautiful country. But the heart and soul of this tour was Radouan and Aissa. Aissa greeted us with a smile each morning, drove us safely and well each day and shared a delicious lunch with us and his sweet family in his home. Radouan shared history and culture with us and helped me learn some Berber and Arabic words (my terrible pronunciation gave us some hearty laughs). From helping us to get a book we wanted from another city to getting pictures of a dress I wanted, Radouan is just the best at helping with whatever you need. If you are thinking of visiting Morocco, go - you will be so glad you did. If you want the best experience, go with Siroco tours and ask for Radouan and Aissa for memories you will treasure for the rest of your life. Also, this tour truly is luxury. The private van was very comfortable and the hotels were lovely with comfy beds, great showers and included breakfasts. Loved all 12 days of this amazing tour!
If I could give it 20 stars, I would. From the moment we contacted them, the customer service level was through the roof. Alexandra was always warm, helpful, and responsive. She was so patient with our million questions and made suggestions and adjustments to create the exact experience my husband and I were looking for. Once in Morocco, everything went seamlessly. Our guide, Radouan, and driver, Mustafa, were a delight. They were knowledgeable, accommodating, and warm with great senses of humor… something really needed for lots of days of touring and driving. For our last day going to Casablanca, we were switched to another guide, Hassan, and driver, Isa. They were absolutely great, too! They helped coordinate a surprise birthday cake for me after an amazing dinner at Rick’s Cafe. And I don’t mean a little cupcake in the hotel room. I mean full-on, walk into the Sofitel Tour Blanche hotel lobby and the entire night staff appears rolling a big choc cake on a cart and sings happy birthday. What an incredible way to celebrate my 50th!! That’s the perfect example of their level of service. THANK YOU to everyone at Siroco for an unforgettable tour of a place I always wanted to visit.
The trip was very interesting. Tour manager Radouan and driver Moustapha were superb. They did everythind to make our stay in Morroco pleasant. The hotels and riads were very good. The local city guides were very disapointing. In most places they just walk with us though the old city not giving much information.
A Plus! Can’t say enough great things about our experience. Sirocco did a brilliant job shaping our 14-day tour into the trip of a lifetime, uniquely tailored to what we wanted to see and do. Our guide Radouan was experienced, knowledgeable, and personable. His insights into Moroccan culture and history made the experience that much richer. Plus Radouan’s restaurant recommendations were consistently fantastic. Our driver Aissa did an incredible job getting us from place to place despite narrow mountain roads or heavy traffic. And we were incredibly touched that Aissa made a special stop along the way so we could share Moroccan tea with his family. These are the kinds of memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. Moreover, Sirocco arranged for private guides in several cities to give us even deeper knowledge about the history, the various women’s collectives, the markets, and the artisans. Every single hotel and riad we stayed in was charming, comfortable, clean, and luxurious, and included sumptuous breakfasts. And they were all lovely. As we journeyed across the country we experienced a wide variety of terrains, from the world-famous city of Marakech, to the stunning Atlas Mountains, through the remarkable Dades Valley & Todra Gorges, into the other-worldly beauty and silence of the Saharan desert region, then on to the bustling energy of Fes and the gorgeous blue city of Chefchaouen, lovely Tangier and finally Casablanca. The delicious Moroccan foods we enjoyed exceeded anything available in the States, including mouth-watering tangines, couscous, and pastillas, and it was easy to become addicted to the orange juice and lovely hot Moroccan tea served at every possible occasion. But best of all was the warm generous hospitality of the Moroccan people we met along the way. We very highly recommend Sirocco Tours!
From our first communication with Alexandra to our drop off at Casablanca airport this trip was amazing! The accommodations were top notch, the guides amazing, the scenery amazing and the food amazing! Alexandra answered my MANY questions promptly and politely. She tweaked the itinerary to suit us. We were collected at Marrakech airport by smiling Hamid with our name in bold letters. The first thing was to get Dirhams at an ATM but the machine “ate” our card. Nonplussed Hamid took us to breakfast then after when the bank was open came with us to interpret the problem. He also was very helpful in assisting with obtaining SIM cards from a very busy kiosk. He was very personable, polite and a good driver in a crazy city. We then had Youssef for 10 days. He became like another son to us. He was so caring, always trying to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, very intuitive and went out of his way to provide new experiences for us. We went to a nomad tent for lunch to have Berber pizza baked in the clay stove. He found interesting hikes for us. He found interesting places to eat. Always prompt and always polite and an excellent driver. I wanted to see the donkey market in Rissani but our itinerary wouldn’t have us there on market day but Youssef worked magic and we got there late in market day and it was so interesting! How he managed to drive out of that chaos was something to see! He knew we liked birds so drive by a nature reserve hoping to see some. We did see ostriches way off in the distance. We saw so many different landscapes; sand dunes, fertile valleys, busy cities and mountain villages. I highly recommend this company and these two guides.
Stepping into Morocco felt like stepping into a storybook. The vibrant colors, the intoxicating aromas, the captivating sounds – it was a sensory overload in the best way possible. And who better to guide me through this whirlwind of wonder than Siroco Tours? From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were swept away by their attentiveness and genuine passion for their country. Our guide, Radouan Oubouya, wasn't just a walking encyclopedia of Moroccan history and culture; he was a storyteller, weaving tales of ancient dynasties and desert nomads that brought the sights and sounds around us to life. He was definitely an amazing dancer. The itinerary was expertly crafted, showcasing the best of Morocco's diverse landscape. Each experience felt authentic and immersive, far removed from the usual tourist traps. The tour prioritizes responsible tourism. They support local artisans and communities, ensuring that the benefits of tourism reach those who need it most. I loved visiting a women's cooperative, and I left feeling like I had not only experienced Morocco but also contributed to its well-being. But what truly set Beyond The Souks Tours apart was the human connection. Radouan and his team treated us not just as a tourist, but as a guest in their home. They shared their customs and traditions, invited us to join his families for a meal. They made us feel welcomed. Overall: If you're looking for an unforgettable Moroccan adventure that goes beyond the typical tourist circuit, look no further than Siroco Tours. Their dedication to authenticity, responsible tourism, and genuine hospitality creates an experience that will stay with you long after you've left. We can't recommend them highly enough!
I've been postponing writing my review for one reason only: I can't even find enough words to describe how incredible my experience was. Right from day one when we met up with our guide he was so kind and attentive. It was just me and my mom and it just so happened we forgot our bag inside the airport. Right away, our guide was incredibly understanding and I could feel him genuinely worried for us even though it did not affect him whatsoever, not to mention the fact there weren't even valuables inside. He spoke with security and led us to the entrance so we could get it back, waited for us for a long time until we came back with it. He was just a genuinely good and compassionate person and that was a big part of our trip. He led us on a very unique itinerary, filled with both beautiful views of nature as well as lots of immersive cultural experiences. We learned so much about the unique culture of this gorgeous country, all thanks to Siroco Tours. Everything down to the last detail was planned by them and meticulously thought out, whether it be accommodations, guides, everything was carefully arranged in advance and we did not have to lift a finger the entire trip. They make it so you feel spoiled, like some sort royalty. It may seem silly, but that's really how it feels! They book where you sleep, where you eat, tell you where it's worth going, they take care of *everything* so you can relax and have an incredible trip, like you're detached from reality with no worries and just living in the moment. Not even to mention how kind the entire staff is. Both Leonor and Alexandra were always so willing to give suggestions, help us with whatever we needed and asking us if it's all going smoothly. The accommodations were perfect, so clean and the decoration was to die for, especially in the riads, not to mention the staff. Being honest I'm not even sure how people can be *that* nice, everyone was so welcoming and made us feel right at home, it makes me wanna miss it and go back even though it was like, barely only a month ago! Even if you paid me to point out a single flaw, I'm sure I couldn't. Everything was absolutely perfect and I wholeheartedly believe there is not one single agency that even begins to compare with Siroco Tours. Not even to mention the low price that we paid for such incredible and complete services! I could continue to write so many more compliments but those are endless. I guess to sum it up, what I mean to say is: If you are looking to travel to Morocco and stumbled across Siroco Tours then you don't have to look any further. Thank you for one of the best times of my life!
My husband and I had an amazing 14 day private Morocco tour with Siroco Tours. We did the luxury version and were not disappointed. Hotels were amazing and the the selection of cities visited was outstanding. I’d like to thank Alexandra with all the travel arrangements and a big thanks to our driver and tour guide Hassan Ouaouich. Hassan’s family has a strong Berber connection and we learned a lot about this culture. If you are at all interested in visiting this wonderful country, this is the company to use.
I had the pleasure of visiting Morocco twice in 18 months with Sirocco Tours and both trips were amazing. This time our guide Redoune and our driver Issa were leading the way. Both fantastic guys and we laughed a lot and there wasn’t a question they couldn’t answer about their beautiful country. Morocco has my heart and Sirocco has played a big part in that with humble, funny, knowledgeable guides and for the price, you get plenty for your money, don’t hesitate, book now!
Me and three friends of mine decided to visit Morocco in 2020 and booked a 12 Days Tour with Siroco Tours. Unfortunately the pandemic took place and we had to cancel our plans. Alexandra and Pedro, who organized the tour for us, were super helpful and postponed the trip. Two years later, when we contacted them again they immediately replied and adapted our plans for June 2023 The experience was amazing: I had already visited Marrakech once but was curious to spend a few days in the Desert and also go to Fes. I must say that staying at the Desert Camp that Siroco Tours booked for us was crucial for our wonderful experience. The staff there served us a delicious dinner and after we all sat around a bonfire and listened (and some of us also sang!) to the berbere drums. We got to know a lot about the berber culture and made lifelong friends! Our guide, Mohammed, who accompanied us throughout the trip, was the perfect fit for our group: cheerful, helpful and always looking out for us. During the whole time, he told us about the country’s history and took us to places we would never find on our own. We ate at very special places, where the locals eat and the food was always tasteful. Also, he was very flexible and adapted very well to our last minute change of plans! Fes was one of my favorite places overall and our guide Adil was a delight! He showed us the different boroughs of Fes, the tanneries, the ceramic and iron workshops and talked about Al Quaraouiyine, the world’s oldest university, founded by a Tunisian woman. Other highlights were the Blue city of Chefchaouen, which is a small cozy village in the mountains and the magnificent and rich Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. The hotels that Alexandra and Pedro carefully picked for us were also an important factor to make this trip unforgettable, with beautiful Moroccan decoration, delicious breakfasts, welcoming staff and super well located. I can speak for all four of us and say that Siroco Tours is one of the best agencies I have traveled with and it is worth every penny!
Our trip to Morocco was simply wonderful! It was incredible days, knowing fascinating places, diving into the local culture, and living experiences that we will keep forever. The agency was impeccable in every detail! Everything was very well planned, which allowed us to enjoy every moment with tranquility and safety. Morocco is already a fascinating country, but knowing this destination with such a dedicated team made all the difference!
Excellent!!! Everything as expected. Unforgettable trip without counting the New Year's Eve in the Sahara desert. Our guide Said, very helpful during our stay in Morocco, on every tour, explaining everything. Imperdivel!!!
Morocco surprised, what a memorable trip! We didn't imagine how incredible the country is. We love our itinerary, an opportunity to know the different faces of Morocco and the local diversities. The hotels and Riads were a spectacle in themselves, we were enchanted. Saïd was our guide who accompanied us throughout the trip, very kind and calm, we felt free to wander, explore, and experience Moroccan cuisine in a relaxed way. Thank you Alexandra for guiding us in creating the script and for organizing everything for us. Without a doubt it was one of the best trips we've ever taken.
I hired Siroco Tours through the owner Alexandra to organize an expedition for my group of 14 people. We traveled throughout Morocco, safely and peacefully. We are very happy because everything went very well. Thank you for everything. Next year I will return with another group.
The trip was so beautiful that it became magical. Rachid, the guide and Issa, the driver and all the staff Siroco provided me with the trips and the happiest days of my life. Morocco was a dream that came true through Siroco. My thanks to Alexandra, Mohamed and all the local guides who welcomed us: Adil, Hanna, Zakaria, Nourdin, Hassan. Choukran bzaf
Hello Alexandra!!. We would like to thank you for the incredible trip to Morocco!! We are back in love with the country and the culture! Everything went perfectly! We perceived the affection and care of Sirocco in every detail planned!! The trip was totally customized for us. It was more than 2 thousand km in 16 days Wonderful hotels, exotic landscapes, surprises every day! It was a real immersion in Moroccan culture! Our guide, Youssef, was spectacular, far above our expectations! He is very fun, always cheerful and willing, polite, drives well and taught us a lot about the customs and the Darija and Berber language. The guides who welcomed us in the medinas (Said, Idriss, Ali, etc) were excellent too! Rashid was fantastic!! He welcomed us very well in the desert and monitored the journey. They all have great knowledge and are differentiated! It was a dream trip!! And we want to come back one day, Inshallah! We return to Brazil excited and transformed!! An experience that we will take for a lifetime!
In fact, we put together a custom package that included only one 5-star hotel in Marrakesh, where we stayed 3 nights. The tour met all our expectations and provided us with an experience in different cities and landscapes of Morocco. We had the driver Issa and the guide Rashid who spoke a reasonable Portuguese, but who understood the language well, and both were all the time very careful and careful with us. The tour is well organized, with local guides already hired on arrival to each place and good hotels, and the fact that we are just us allowed us to make some changes to the route in time to meet our interests. We chose, for example, to stay in Marrakesh longer and we could walk almost two whole days on our own, which was great. I highly recommend Siroco Tours for those who want to know Morocco safely and comfortably.
It was our second trip with Siroco, and as with the first time everything was very well organized. We rode on this journey 1800 Km through Morocco, and it was all perfect: organization, hotels and tours in general. Our local guides were always attentive and professional, enriching our trip, with a special thanks to Jamal, who drove the 4x4 and accompanied us throughout the journey.
Unforgettable 12-day trip through Morocco. Great accommodations, especially the campground in the desert and the hotels of the Xaluca chain. Private tour with special thanks to the driver Idir.
Passing to thank you for the wonderful trip you provided us.. all very beautiful and very well organized.. The guide Rachid and the driver Isaa are fantastic.. are attentive, helpful and very polite.. careful driver to drive and drive the vehicle.. until when the tire broke nor we had problems.. everything resolved with a lot of calm and sympathy.. The hotels and Riads all great .. and when we had a little problem Mohammed responded quickly and solved everything. Congratulations to the team!! We will definitely indicate them and who knows we will make a next trip with vcs!! Super indico and can travel with them without any fear. I did the private tour with a couple of friends, we ran 2,200 km with a lot of safety, wonderful places, slept in the desert and walked dromedario..
From the first contact to the return home, we were treated with a professionalism and affection that exceeded all expectations. Alexandra perfectly understood what we were looking for and made our dream a reality. And the same goes for the whole team, impeccable. The clarity in the information was a very high point: we knew exactly what to expect in each step, no unpleasant surprises, just... wonderful surprises! Each of the stays was a wonderful surprise! They have a special look to select places that are not only comfortable, but that offer authentic and unforgettable experiences. Every hotel or guesthouse was a delight!
The trip was scheduled since May 2025 with all the assistance of Alexandra, accurate and clear information, as it was a private expedition for 4 friends we could choose the script that was thought to make the most of us! All the stays were fantastic, delicious manha coffee and we had tb 4 dinners one of them in the desert. We stayed in Riad, very well located hotels! Everything went well from the airport transfer / Hotel to the whole route that we were accompanied every day by the guide Rachid Ivri and the driver Aisa(Jesus), who lack words to describe the attention and care they had with us. Rachid speaks Portuguese very well which facilitated the entire expedition! Very punctual in the schedules (never late) was always ready to take doubts! We had local guides like Hanna in Marrakech excellent knowledge and Portuguese clear, other tb guides speaking Portuguese or Spanish. I definitely refer to Siroco, very qualified professionals. We had a very good experience with Siroco Tours in Morocco on a 10-day tour in which we passed through 6 different cities. The tour chosen by us is a little tired, but the roads in general are good and the car and the driver available also very good. The accommodation booked by the agency was great, with a highlight for Riad de Rabat, Mr. Youssef, with whom we talked a lot! The tours in general are very good, with absolute emphasis on the Sahara Desert, where everything was very good from the Dromedario and the campsite with great accommodation and a reception and a moon on the incredible fireplace. We would like to make a recognition to the driver Iddir. Iddir was a very responsible driver on the roads, speaks well Portuguese, always treated us very well with valuable tips about the tours and each of the places we stopped. He was always available to help, and still led us to the markets for shopping for items that we couldn’t find easily. Indicated very good local restaurants and left us safe on how to walk in town and where to go. Mohamed also answered us promptly via WhatsApp whenever we needed, and we had plenty of flexibility to adjust the script.
Sirico Tour is very specialized in Morocco. I stayed in the best hotels, very well located and the transportation was done by competent professional, who spoke my language and local guides also in my language.
I highly recommend Siroco Tours! They helped us from creation to all logistics during the journey. We made everything personalized the way we would spend, Alexandra (Cover who helped us from the first contact) helped us indicating what would be possible and feasible. Upon arrival in Morocco we were welcomed by Jamal, an incredible and very requested guide who accompanied us during the 12 days in the country. Jamal is Moroccan and a big fan of Brazil, we communicated in Portuguese and it was great. With much affection, during my birthday Jamal even ordered a surprise cake for me, made my day much happier. We felt safe and very comfortable with him, became a great friend of ours. The car was very spacious and comfortable, and the indications of restaurants and hotels were also great.
The tour of Morocco was very complete and accompanied by the Guides Rachid and then Jamal who gave us all the explanations about the culture and history of the places. Because they're from the desert, it made the experience out there exceptional. They are impeccable in the details and leave us very safe. The large and comfortable car (a Toyota Prado) is also important pq has long distances to travel, we ran more than 2000 km in 14 days. We love to meet this unique culture in a completely different country. The desert is stunning and watching the lives of the Berber nomads from close was amazing. Jamal is very professional and fun. Siroco is 10.
Our guide Youssef accompanied us throughout the day , caring for us with affection , so that everything was perfect. The script was excellent and we had a very interesting view of Morocco, a country of contrasts. We loved the trip and thank Siroco Tours.
All wonderful. Excellent experience Alexandra's organization was impeccable. From the beginning she understood what my friends and I wanted to achieve from the trip to Morocco. The hotels suggested all gave first and very well located. Our beloved guide Jamal who joined us on the third day of the plan was another travel companion and attentive to all the details, super punctual, good command of Spanish and with his friendliness and professionalism allowed us to relax totally leaving always the topics of check in , departure from hotels and daily excursions at your expense. We feel very relaxed in such a culturally strange country for us because we feel very well advised and accompanied from start to finish the trip. We were fascinated by Morocco!!! We fully recommend the agency and its first-rate and personalized services. Thanks Alexandra, Jamal, and team!!!
We made a complete tour of Morocco, visited several cities, slept in the desert, saw the snow in the Atlas Mountains, always accompanied by the guide Jamal, very helpful, who speaks very good Portuguese and explained to us about the culture of the country, we liked it a lot. The hotels booked were very good, the tours and excellent guides, and the agency always helpful and interested and provide us the best experience, from the first contact with Alexandra. Super recommend Siroco Tours!
We do not have enough words to thank all the excellence of the services, the service, the hospitality, the kindness and hospitality. We received the Siroco Tour nomination from a friend of ours who lives in Morocco and exceeded all our best expectations. These were incredible, very special days that we will keep in our best memories and in very special places of our hearts. We would like to record our special thanks to Alexandra, who made all of our amazing script, in a very personalized way, in God the most precious tips, as well as was very available and helpful before and throughout our journey. Our very special thanks to Rachid, our driver and guide throughout the period, a person of noble soul, extremely caring, kind and courteous. Always very patient with our delays, always solicitor to the extreme in all our needs, always very helpful and kind, always smiling, in addition to extremely prepared, as a polyglot (speaks seven languages) and knowledgeable of history with many precious teachings about Morocco and its culture! Rachid has become a friend to us to the point of being very hard to say goodbye to him in the end! Our equally special thanks also to the brothers Mohamed and Yousef, They did not measure efforts to welcome us in the best possible way. We arrived very late and yet we were served a delicious dinner and were surprised with a personalized birthday cake after a request from my husband made just an hour before our arrival. The breakfast very full of options and with a special recipe of eggs that we will always remember! Mohamed and Youssef represent a unique concept of hospitality and hospitality that all universities and tourism companies should know and apply. Built from a dream of the brothers, still children with 8 and 11 years, the hotel was designed in every small detail. Its owners have a unique and exceptional view on the art of welcoming their guests. There are not enough words to describe, but we will feel as if we already know them and as if we were staying in a luxury house of very close friends. Finally, our thanks to the local guides Adil in Fez and Hanna in Marrakesh, very skilled and great teachers! Morocco is an interesting country with very diverse landscapes and a lot of culture to absorb. To be known as it deserves, the assistance of Siroco Tour and its team was fundamental. We will never forget and we have not enough way to thank you for everything, Alexandra, Rachid, Mohamed and Yousef. Adil and Hanna too!
Note 100 for Siroco Tours Morocco! We made a wonderful 13-day trip through Morocco, seeing the main cities. Fantastic and unforgettable experience in the Sahara desert. Wonderful hotels. Everything very well organized, excellent guides especially Mohamad Boughrara and Idir, with sympathy and unique hospitality. We will carry in our luggage a great miss of the unique and striking experiences of such an exotic country for us.
It was just wonderful!!! Worth every penny!!! Our guide, Rachid became part of the family, along with Armed, our driver. Wonderful places. I would say it was the best trip of my life
Incredible tour, beautiful panoramic views, different from our usual, very good hotels, interesting, beautiful and well-constructed Riads with our guide, Rachid and our driver who drove with much attention and well. I recommend the Siroco tour, which was very attentive.
It was four nights that looked like the 1001 nights. Fantastic trip always accompanied by friendly, polite, cult and attentive guide. Let's go with the soul full. We will surely repeat the experience elsewhere in Morocco.
We are 2 couples and we made a 12-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, going through chefchaouen, fes meknes, desert, esaouira. It is a beautiful country and definitely the Siroco Tours guides are a great differential, cult, attentive, super hospitable and cheerful. The van very comfortable, always smelly and with good air conditioning, essential to overcome the heat zones. The hotels chosen by the agency, were all wonderful, exceeded our best expectations. Thank you very much for everything, wait for us because we will definitely return to this beautiful and amazing country :)
There are no words to thank you for everything Siroco has done for us. We decided at the last minute to go to Morocco. I called Siroco tours and from the first contact we felt very welcomed. In a matter of 3 days, the entire itinerary, hotels, transfers were organized…. We actively participated in the choices and saw that they really offer the best and with the best value for money. Our driver Hamid was exceptional. Perfect punctuality, always very respectful and pleasant. Alexandra helped us a lot with all the steps, from purchasing the best flight, purchasing tickets, tips…. The trip was simply perfect! I recommend it to everyone who wants a different and personalized experience. Thank you very much Alexandra, Mohamed, Hamid and the entire Siroco team
Beautiful trip with our guide Rachid, very kind, beautiful landscapes, cultural experience, landscapes, cuisine, camel ride, we loved it!!! It was amazing! We bought the trip with Alexandra from Portugal and loved everything!
Services provided with excellence, competence and great dedication. The guides and all the staff involved are amazing. We strongly recommend it to everyone. It's so worth it!!
My husband and I hired the company Siroco to carry out our tour of Morocco and we received one of the best travel experiences of our lives. From the first contact with Alexandra we felt a lot of security and confidence in everything that was offered to us. The itinerary proposed by the company is completely personalized, complete and exclusive. They take care of everything related to the trip. When we arrived in Casablanca, Mohamed, who was our guide and driver, was waiting for us at the airport's arrival gate and from that moment on, he was present throughout our itinerary. We have no words to say about Mohamed...he was simply incredible and our trip was certainly even more special because he accompanied and guided us. Mohamed is passionate about the country and passed this love on to us. He is an incredible and extremely professional person. We also cannot fail to thank the local guides in several of the cities we were in, they were all very professional and spoke perfect Portuguese. Ultimately, we experienced unforgettable moments in this country full of varieties and certainly part of these moments were due to our choice of Siroco. Thank you so much for everything❤️
I took a 12-day tour for my family. I only hired the transport, the guides and the hotel in the Sahara desert. It was all wonderful. Spacious car in good condition. 9 seats and large trunk. We traveled with 6 people, including the driver and the guide. The guide Rashid speaks good Portuguese and is very attentive. The driver Ahmed speaks English and is also a good guy. The city guides are also great and fluent in Portuguese or Spanish. A first class service. I highly recommend the agency.
We had an incredible experience in Morocco. The hotels we stayed in were all very well selected. We traveled our entire route by private car and the entire time we were accompanied by a guide/driver, called Hamid, who had in-depth knowledge of the culture and history of Morocco. We even had the pleasure of visiting his city, which is close to the Sahara Desert. Hamid exudes friendliness, courtesy and efficiency and made our experience very special.
