Wonderful tour with fabulous guide and driver ( Said and Ahmed). Guides in Fez and Marrakesh were excellent. We had a fabulous trip and lots of fun thanks to our guide and driver. I would definitely use siroco tours again.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Arrive at the airport of Casablanca where our guide greet you and welcome you to the country! The starting point and ending point and the day of the first can be adjusted.
After arriving, we will go to one the major wonders of Morocco: the Hassan II Mosque, the second highest in the world, and one rare example of mosques that can be visited by non-muslims. In the mosque your guide will teach you about the religious traditions and rituals of the muslim religion. In the words of the authors of the book Morocco Country Study Guide, the Hassan II Mosque "undeniably marks the continuity of a modernized ancestral art and bears the sign of innovations that are due not only to technical reasons but also to a fertile exploration of new aesthetic possibilities".
For the fans of cinema, you can visit Rick’s café, which attempts to recreate the bar made famous by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in the movie classic Casablanca. Set in an old courtyard-style mansion built against the walls of the Old Medina of Casablanca, the restaurant – piano bar is filled with architectural and decorative details reminiscent of the film: curved arches, a sculpted bar, balconies, balustrades as well as beaded and stencilled brass lighting and plants that cast luminous shadows on white walls.
After visiting the mosque, we will depart for Rabat, where you can enjoy its beautiful domes, minarets, wide avenues and green spaces.
Day 2
2
Rabat is a city that grew up in the fourteenth and fifteenth century, with the expulsion of Andalusians from the Iberian Peninsula. It is surrounded by three walls corresponding to the most significant stages of its history: the Almohad wall, the Andalusian wall and the Alawite wall. Your guide will show you these walls and the main attractions of the city like the Hassan Tower, situated on top of an imposing mosque and the opulent tomb of Mohammed V, etc.
The famous Mausoleum of Mohammed V was built in Rabat near the Hassan Tower. Mohammed V is the most beloved and revered sultan of the inhabitants of Morocco. He had a difficult life, Mohammed V had to endure a lot of persecution, but he managed to achieve the independence of Morocco, and this won national recognition. The whole complex is surrounded by a wall, and at the entrance you can see the guard on duty on horseback.
In the capital of Morocco Rabat, the main city fortress, which is called Kasbah Udaya, has been preserved. It received its name from the first Berber garrison, Uda. The fortress was built by Almohad in the XII century to defend the city from the nomads. The main attraction of the fortress at the present time is a garden of extraordinary beauty, in which orange trees and a multitude of exotic flowers grow, as well as residential houses of the white and blue color quarter.
Head towards the blue city of Chefchaouen. To arrive at Chefchaouen is to dive into a labyrinth of that is unlike other Moroccan medinas, it has a perfect order and harmony. All roads lead to Hamman Square, where it is the largest mosque and meeting center of its inhabitants. Explore the blue city of Chefchaouen - one of the most charming and emblematic of Morocco. With a calm Medina, nestling between the Rif mountains and the Middle Atlas, Chefchaouen is famous for its handicrafts and goat's cheese.
Day 3
3
After a relaxed breakfast, we will leave for Fes and on the way we take the opportunity to visit the imperial city of Meknes. On the way to Meknes, we can visit the roman ruins of Volubilis, one of the best preserved roman sites of the world. For a long time, Volubilis was the principal roman administration center in the North Africa outside of Egypt.
Sultan Moulay Ismail dreamed of making Meknes the most splendid of the cities of North Africa, hence its nickname of "Versailles of the Maghreb". Here we will visit the main points of interest with a professional guide which will tell you the rich stories and legends of Mecknès and present the city.
Toward the end of the afternoon, we arrive in Fes, where we will still have time to see the city in its splendor, bathed in the soft light of the afternoon. We will take a short panoramic tour of the city. For dinner, we recommend the Clock Café which always has a very original and diverse menu with original dishes such as a camel hamburger, among other Moroccan specialties that are not easily accessible. This Café also has an interesting cultural life: you can hear an ancient Moroccan tell his stories and talk about the Morocco of old, enjoy a cinema night, have a workshop of Arabic calligraphy, among others.
Day 4
4
Spend the morning and part of the afternoon visiting medina de Fes, described by Paul Bowles as "an enchanted labyrinth protected from time”. You will be with a guide specifically dedicated to this city, so that you can discover it deeply: its corners, traditions, stories and history. The labyrinthycal medina de Fes has more than 9000 streets, in a magical environment between light and shadow, and it is considered a World Heritage Site. The city has reached its peak in the 13th century, becoming a centre of knowledge, having one of the world’s oldest universities. You will be able to visit the most important palaces, the jewish quarters, the Madrassa and the coranic school. Furthermore, you will visit the authentic handicraft of Fes and its tannery, work of leathers. It is possible to buy fantastic leather products very cheaply and near the origin of production, where ancient methods are still used.
Day 5
5
We will leave in the morning to visit the magical cedars’ forests of Azrou and Ifran where you will be dazzled with its spectacular native nature. The atmosphere is calm, clear and rich in nature’s scents.
On our journey we will make a brief stop in Midelt, a small town between the High and the Middle Atlas, an exceptional location to watch the exuberant mountain landscape. During our journey, it may be possible to see monkeys and other typical animals of these forests.
On the way we pass the Ziz Valley, a fertile and exotic Valley and a paradise of calm not disturbed by large touristic groups. Try the dates that grow in this region, and that are unique in its size and flavor. On the way to the desert you will pass in Erfoud. Near Erfoud there are excavations of fossils where today there are several fossils of trilobites among other primitive species. This allows us to conclude that the soil of the Sahara desert was, in very ancient times, the bottom of an ocean. Here you can do a workshop to find and work with original fossils that will eventually be yours.
Then we will go to Merzouga, where you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan tea as a welcome sign of affection. Night in a charming hotel overlooking the dunes.
Day 6
6
During the day, participate in different activities in the desert, which can be of the most varied types: extreme sports, Moroccan cuisine workshops or even contact with nomads, immersing yourself in their music and traditions.
We visit Rissani, which is the capital of the historic region of Tafilete. In the past it was an important trading post, as it was on the route of the Sahara caravans. There, gold, spices, fabrics, weapons and slaves were traded. It has a market and a souk that is very interesting to visit, it's like stepping into an epic movie from the middle ages, a very authentic place with amazing products, donkey market included!
Afterwards, we will go to the nomadic people's depot of Khamila, a lost village where the original Gnawa people live, first brought from Sudan as slaves. There you can enjoy their music, lifestyle, culture and tradition. Discover life in the middle of the Sahara.
Arrive in Merzouga, you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan tea as a welcome sign of affection. For the ones who crave adventure, you can do activities like scavenger hunts and other challenges with these 4x4 quad bikes in the great dunes of the desert. After that it's time for ridding a camel through the desert for about an hour to visit some of the most beautiful oases of the desert. You will also visit the dunes of Merzouga, a UNESCO world heritage site. The colors of the late afternoon in the dunes are the delight of those who enjoy photography. Enjoy watching the sunset at the top of a dune. Then you can have an unforgettable night under a blanket of stars in the sky. There, dinner will be served and then there will be traditional live music around a bonfire! And then the silence of the night will fall and you won't hear anything besides your own voice or your companions'. The sky is clear and full of stars.
Day 7
7
Wake up after an unforgettable night and feel the cold light invading the open space of the desert. You can climb to top of a dune, while the desert is waking up. After an unforgettable night in the desert, getting to know its culture, traditions and trade, you will leave for something completely different, the rocky landscape of the Gorges and the high Atlas and the green beauty of the Dadès Valley. You will have the unique opportunity to explore the gorges of Todra, towering rock cliffs that reach 600 meters in height, separated by only 10 m in width and that extend through several kilometers.
The day ends in peace, in the astonishing Dadès Valley, where you hear the sound of the birds in the green valley.
Day 8
8
We follow through the "Route of the One Thousand Kasbahs", until Kalaat Mgouna - The City of the Roses. We will also have the opportunity to visit the traditional villages of Skoura and 'El Kelaa des M'Gouna. A Kashbah is an ancient form of Castle, and even the word “Castle” has its origins in the word “Kashbah”. After that, we will go to Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou, which are two locations of great historical and cultural relief in the Atlas, allowing us to feel as we have traveled in time to see the landscape and the lives of those who dedicated themselves to trade. In Ouarzazate you can discover the ancient wall, the fortification of Kasba Taouirt and the palace of the Pasha Glaoui. You can visit the movie studios of Ouarzazate, which are the most important in North Africa, that have been used in films such as the famous "Lawrence of Arabia" or "Gladiator".
Ait Benhaddou is considered a World Heritage Place by UNESCO and it is the most important point in the "Route of the One Thousand Kasbahs", a route of small fortifications that would allow the defense of the caravans of trade on its route between the Sahara Desert and the city of Marrakesh. It is still inhabited and used as a set to movies as "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones", among many others, to keep their identity and charisma intact.
The day will end with dinner at the fantastic Jamaa el Fna square, where the mix of smells, music and spectacles are inspiring, and where tourists and locals often merge and dine side by side. Here you can experience the best of Moroccan street cuisine, among a variety of different sandwiches, teas. There are various stalls with a different specialty, and of course, the typical dishes, from Tagine to Couscous. All at Moroccan prices. It is an experience not to be missed.
Day 9
9
On this day, we will visit Marrakech, the peal of the South, and the cosmopolitan centre of the country. The surprising architecture, the intense scent of spices, the colorful and exotic atmosphere, and the small corners and secrets of its history make this city the most desired and visited city of Morocco. During the day you will be accompanied by a touristic guide/historian exclusively dedicated to the city of Marrakech, so that you can enjoy the best the city has to offer. The attractions are multiple: the Bahia Palace (opulent building from the 19th century), the Ben Youssef Medersa (old Muslim university), Majorelle’s gardens, etc. In this unforgettable day you will be able to visit all of them. Enjoy also the Souk (traditional market), where the commerce, the city’s main activity, is chaotic.
Ben Youssef Medersa: This Islamic faculty from the 12th century was ordered by the sultan Ali ibn Yusuf of Morocco. Today it is a museum that can be visited. The interiors are wonderful, all decorated and its architecture is exquisite.
Bahia Palace: This incredible palace from the 19th century was extravagantly built to be the best of Marrakech. It has an enormous garden, a central courtyard and several rooms amazingly decorated with works from artisans that purposely came to Marrakech from Fez to work.
Koutoubia Mosque: Without any doubt this is the most famous and most photographed monument of Marrakech. The Koutoubia Mosque was built on the 12th century and was a model to the Seville’s Giralda and Hassan’s Tower in Rabat.
Majorelle Gardens: This is the only botanical garden in Marrakech. It was projected by Jacques Majorelle and it belongs to Yves Saint-Laurent and Bergé Pierre since 1980. Enjoy a walk surrounded by exotic plants from all over the world.
Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which has a permanent exhibition and also temporary exhibitions, with masterpieces of this famous creator. The building itself has charming modern architecture with traditional touches.
Day 10
10
In the morning there may be time for some last shopping in the agitated souk of Marrakech. If you are willing, you can also rise to the skies in a hot-air ballon over Marrakech in the morning. We go to the airport where we say goodbye with certainty to have made new friends and have unforgettable experiences and memories.

Jamal is an excellent guide! He speaks Portuguese very well and is incredibly attentive, helpful, and fun to be around. He shared wonderful cultural insights and tips, making our experience even more enjoyable. He was very kind and friendly with both us and our children. Always punctual and always had fresh, cold water available for us! We highly recommend him. Our experience in Morocco was truly wonderful thanks to him
An honest reflection of our time in Morocco with Radouan and Aissa My family and I recently completed a 10-day vacation in Morocco with Siroco Tours, starting in Marrakesh and ending in Casablanca on January 1, 2026. Our driver, Aissa, was excellent. He drove us through sun, rain, and even snow, and at no point did we feel unsafe. He was professional, calm, and reliable throughout the trip. I would highly recommend him to anyone booking a tour. Unfortunately, our experience with our guide, Radouan, fell short of expectations and significantly impacted the overall trip. There appeared to be poor communication between him and the tour organizer, as several key itinerary items were overlooked or unfamiliar to him when we asked about them. One major issue was our visit to Casablanca. The primary reason we went there was to see the Hassan II Mosque, yet Radouan was unaware that it would be closed on New Year’s Day. We arrived only to find it closed, which was very disappointing. His explanation afterward did not make sense, and this is something a professional tour guide should reasonably know in advance. Additionally, we were supposed to visit the YSL Museum and a vineyard, but when we asked about these activities, he seemed unaware of them. This further reinforced the sense that he was not fully informed about our itinerary. The most troubling moment, however, was when Radouan casually rapped a song and used a racial slur in front of our African American family. After we corrected him, it was clear he understood this was inappropriate, but the incident was shocking and uncomfortable, and it should never have happened. To be fair, he was helpful in some ways such as booking us a hammam and walking us to a restaurant for dinner, but these positives were overshadowed by the repeated oversights and the inappropriate behavior. Overall, while our driver Aissa was outstanding, the guiding experience did not reflect the quality or professionalism we expected for the tour we paid for.
I have travelled with other tours groups before and can say without reservations that Siroco Tours exceeded my expectations in every way. We arrived a week early before the tour so we could independently do a cooking school in Tangier and hike around Chefchaouen. Unfortunately, the weather we experienced was torrential downpours and the roads were flooded. We were not able to go to Chefchaouen. Our local Siroco contact guide, Mohammed, helped us obtain a hotel in Rabat where we diverted and ultimately began our tour. I was impressed by the fact that Soroco Tour had our back before we even started the tour with them. The tour itself was well planned out, the cities and village we visited were representative of Morocco, and our overnight in the desert was spectacular. My friend came down with a horrible stomach bug in Fez and our driver went out of the way in the evening to help get her treatment. Speaking of our driver, RADOUAN OUBOUYA, he was one of the best I have ever had. He went out of way to provide informative, historical background on each place we visited. In addition, he was a very courteous and safe driver. I never felt rushed while visiting any of the sites that were on our itinerary. In fact, he demonstrated great flexibility in adapting our itinerary as we wished. There are so many highlights I could provide, but a few of them would include the goats and sheep market in Rassani and a home-cooked meal of couscous with our driver’s family on a Friday when a traditional meal of couscous is served. You absolutely cannot go wrong with choosing Siroco Tour to provide you an inside look into the history, culture, and peoples of Morocco. You will not be disappointed. And if you are as lucky to get Radouan as your guide, you will be in for a truly unique experience.
Although I had already been to Morocco but my husband and friends had not. This was an amazing tour. They worked with me to customize the tour so I could spend time in the country including desert. Our guide became our best friend taking great care of us, providing insights and information that you can only learn from someone who lives in Morocco. We had the perfect combination of “free” time and tours of sights. We stayed in Riads which were right inside the Medina of the cities and were beautiful. If you are thinking of going my advise is go with Siroco. It was an incredible tour.
We were traveling with 4 other friends, and had a great time. Radouan was our guide, and he had great plans, but was willing to fine tune based on our requests as well. He provided great historical insight, overlaid with current events while we were traveling - never too much, but just right. Overall we loved the trip with our friends and of Morocco. From the cities to the sand dunes it was an experience well worth the trip.
Me and my mother we had a wonderful experience in Morocco. The country is lovely and the people kind. The tour was extremely well organised and structured. Our guide Hassan was the kindest, he not only spoke Portuguese perfectly, but was very friendly and polite. He brought us to see beautiful sceneries and was always willing to help us with whatever we needed. He explained us the culture of this beautiful country which made our experience even more incredible. After he found out we were obsessed with dates, he gifted us a box of Moroccan dates which we are bring home with us. I highly recommend not only Siroco Tours Agency but to request to have as your guide Hassan, he is the best!
We spent 8 days in Morocco for the private tour and had an amazing experience. Our guide Radouan was great, very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He and our driver Aissa really made the trip such a wonderful and comfortable experience for us, and provided amazing service throughout the entire trip, all the way up to dropping us off at the airport. We had a great time and learned so much, we would highly recommend this experience to others.
I had an incredible 10-day trip across Morocco, filled with unforgettable moments. I met amazing people, tasted delicious local food, and stayed in comfortable, well-selected hotels. The entire experience was designed from scratch by Siroco, who created a thoughtful and well-paced itinerary. Every detail was carefully curated — from the schedule to the handpicked, top-rated places we visited. Their attention to detail and dedication truly stood out. A special shout-out to my fantastic guide, Iddir. He was outstanding — always organized, supportive, and caring throughout the journey. His warmth and professionalism made the trip even more special. I can’t recommend Siroco enough for anyone wanting to discover the magic of Morocco with confidence and comfort!
Our 10 day trip was everything we had hoped for. From the start Alexandra was responsive and so helpful as we put the itinerary together. There was no pressure and we were able to make changes to suit. We were 4 family members travelling together and we had the best time! Saiid our guide and Hamid our driver had a lively sense of humour and terrific attention to detail, ensuring everything went as planned. The sights, accommodation and food were all amazing and we have many treasured memories.
Had an amazing time traveling from Marrakech to the Sahara for an overnight camping trip. Our guide Moha was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
Moha Oubih was fantastic. He was very flexible, fun, and easy-going. The trip to the Sahara was smooth and felt like a fun roadtrip with friends instead of a long drive. The Sahara itself is mesmerizing and the camel rides were cool (recommend ATVs as well)! It's fun to stop in a different city each night because you get a glimpse of the Moroccan life outside of just a tourist tour. There were many stops that showed us the unique traits of Morocco as well. Not advised for people who have a (strong) phobia of heights. I highly recommend booking the trip with Moha as well - made it that much more enjoyable.
What a memorable 10 day trip through Morocco with Siroco tours. We learned so much on this trip. Once we made our booking, Alexandra was in constant touch to answer all our questions. The Riads we stayed in were absolutely gorgeous. Our guide, Radouan spoke fluent English. He was so open and kind to share with us about his life in Morocco. Aissa was the most safe and professional driver. We traveled in comfort in a new spacious van. The camel ride and overnight stay in the desert was magical. We started our camel ride from the beautiful Desert Villa hotel at sunset. The tents, 4 to 5 stars, were fully heated with indoor bathrooms. Watching the stars at night and waking up for sun rise on the desert was a price less experience. The food at the desert tent was delicious. If you are planning a Morocco trip, GO with SIROCO TOURS. You will be treated with a safe, fun 5 star experience. Mohamed, the local manager, and his team all speak fluent English. You will be treated like a VIP all through the trip.
Positively surprised by the quality of the stay, the locations, and the experiences provided. The camel ride to the desert camp and the quad bike ride back were special. The opportunity for immersion in urban Moroccan culture was very positive. The guides were always very friendly and knowledgeable about the places, ensuring the well-being of our group of 18 people.
The perfect all round tour to see the major sights of Morocco. We had a great balance between guided time and free time. Hassan our guide was fantastic. Knowledgeable and very friendly, as was our driver Achmed. They were very accommodating if we ever wanted to stop for a drink or toilet break and even found us a post office to send items home. The accommodation was great. Couldn’t recommend the tour, and especially our guide Hassan enough. We are an Australian couple, 29yo.
We had an amazing tour of Moroçco, which was highlighted mostly by our amazing tour guide Radaoun, and our trusted driver Aissa. They really made the experience of discovering this beautiful country even more wonderful, especially with Radaoun's sense of humor and fun. Alexandra and the other Siroco staff did an amazing job seeing to all our needs prior to the trip. Many thanks Siroco for a memorable vacation.
The trip was great The guide was excellent The hotels were perfect The places we visited were wonderful The restaurants that were included in the tour were very good
My friends and I just returned from a customized 10-day trip to Morocco. It was such an amazing experience. The beauty of Morocco comes not only from the beautiful cities and landscapes but especially the people. You will be treated like family. We stayed in gorgeous riads inside the Medinas. The staff at all the riads were superb (and we will all miss those breakfasts). What made the trip extra exceptional was our guide Zayd and driver Ahmad. They were the dynamic duo! Funny, knowledgeable, flexible - I cannot say enough of how lucky we felt to have these gentlemen lead us around Morocco for 10 days.
Magical Morocco made easy is how I’d sum up our trip with Siroco Tours. We decided to visit Morocco only a couple of days before departing for the trip. Alexandra made the planning so easy (actually she did it all). Our guide, Hassan Ouaouich, made the trip absolutely fantastic. Hassan made us feel safe. He educated us on local customs & traditions. Overall his input allowed us to understand the local culture. I would highly recommend this company if you want an enjoyable, well organised & relaxing break.
Fantastic service! It all went perfect! Driver very polite and helpful and travel plan made specially for us! Special thanks to Alexandra, Mohamed and Barak for all your kindness and attention with us!
Traveled in Dec 2023 with family. Alexandra and team were very responsive right from the start. We set up a slightly modified Imperial Cities private tour over 12 days, which catered to our preferences for smaller local riads, and additional days in Fes and Marrakesh, as well as pricing that worked for us. The company also helped to set up some specific classes during the trip. Our guide/driver Nour was a real nour (gem) and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending the Siroco team for a Morocco trip.
The trip was amazing and memorable, and we took lots of great pictures. Our Tour Guide Hassan was very friendly and he took good care of the 6 of us. We also enjoyed the homemade Berber pizza and couscous dishes at the tour guide's home very much.
If you're looking for an amazing Morocco road trip, Sirocco tours delivers! Our guide Hassan and driver Issa are both amazing. We're a family of four (55, 55, 24, 21) who have lots of road-tripping and do-it-yourself travel experience but had limited experience with guides. Sirocco was patient and friendly in emails as we edited the itinerary a few times to fit our time constraints and our desire for a day hike. They organized an unforgettable trip, and we stayed in nice riads and hotels throughout the trip. Hassan is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with for 10-days. He is good at navigating through all the contrasting situations in Morocco from talking with people in the desert to busy medinas to modern cities. There are too many trip highlights to mention, but it was a special day visiting the market in his hometown of Merzouga and his mother for lunch. Issa is a safe, friendly and professional driver on all types of Moroccan roads. Within the same day, we frequently were on 1-lane switchback mountain roads, busy city areas and modern highways. We are used to driving ourselves, but it was so much more relaxing as passengers. We didn't have to figure out car-rental, parking (which would be impossible near medinas), police stops, or rules-of-the-road. The van was a modern, 3-row van with plenty of room for all of us and our bags. We went in December. It was cool with warm daytime temps and nighttime temps just above freezing. It was a slow season for tourists which meant we often had sites all to ourselves. It was really nice visiting kasbahs, Roman ruins and the desert with few other people around. When booking with Sorocco, they ask for a small credit card deposit, and then you pay the remainder to the guide when you arrive in Euros or US Dollars. We aren't used to carrying that amount of cash on a trip, but it was no problem. Morocco is a cash country, so you'll be using it frequently. ATMs are generally available if you run out. Tanmirt, Hassan, Issa and Sorocco!
This trip was more than excellent. It was a positive life experience. If you're considering Morocco as your next destination, you probably already know about its natural beauty. So I won't bore you with those references, except to say that the pictures you see online don't do it justice. They just can't capture the magic. But what made our trip to Morocco a positive life experience was traveling the country with Siroco Tours and our guide/driver/interpreter, and now friend, Mohamed Boughrara. Here's a few reasons why: We arrived in Marrakech several hours late on day 1 thanks to TAP Air Portugal and its cavalier attitude about on-time departures. Mohamed had been outside the airport in Marrakech for at least five hours waiting, but he greeted us with the biggest smile and enthusiasm, which immediately re-sparked our excitement for the trip to come. We travelled with another couple (long time friends), and for the next 9 days, Mohamed made sure we saw every sight, ate every dish, and experienced every must-have experience in his amazing country. One member of our group only spoke Portuguese, and another only English. No problem, because Mohamed spoke both, in addition to Spanish, Arabic, and his native Berber language. He speaks other languages too. Mohamed not only showed us the sights, but gave us context, which is something often missing from trips like this. Mohamed knew the history of everything; who built, when, why, who conquered it, when it was abandoned and resettled. He explained the history of the Berber people of the area (his people) and their eventual mixing with the Arabs. He answered every stupid question (there were many), and was incredibly patient with us. He was also very protective of us and made sure we weren't overly hassled by street merchants, etc. I could go on and on about the intangibles, but I think I got the message across. Now for the tips: If you enjoy alcohol during your vacation, buy some at the duty free on the way there. If you run out, you'll need to ask your guide to take you to a major grocery store (e.g., Carrefour) to restock. Most restaurants and Riads don't serve it (although Riads will let you have your own). Ice for drinking anything is a commodity. The roads are very good, but Moroccans' driving style could make you queasy. Do not miss the Merzuga Desert experience (two nights is ideal). Mohamed and his family have a beautiful boutique hotel called Desert Villa which is a must-stay. Do not skip Tangier. If you wear contact lenses you may want to bring one of those sunglasses that protect your eyes from sand, etc. Their pharmacies have the basic stuff, but bring medicine for indigestion. All the seasoning in the food can wreak havoc in your gut. If you're still choosing a tour company, I hope this review will convince you to go with Siroco Tours. Morocco, as a destination, sells itself. Safe travels! Bruno, Caitlin, Daniel & Lais
I arranged a private tour of Morocco for 5 women. The responsiveness of Alexandra from the first contact was superb. Our driver/guide was personable and knowledgeable. The riads where we stayed were all top notch with friendly staff and walking distance from anywhere we wanted to visit. The highlight for many of us was the Maison Sahara in the Ziz Valley. The family running the riad couldn't have been more accommodating. The private guides for the medinas all were informative and helpful. Our tour was jam packed and I wish we had more time at several locales to participate in more activities. I honestly don't know how Siroco Tours is able to provide the high quality private tour that we experienced for the money that we paid. My only caveat - be advised that your driver/guide is not allowed (by Moroccan law) to enter the historic sites and medinas with you. Siroco Tours arranges local guides for several locations but you will be on your own at some of the sites you will visit along the way.
Fascinating places, people, culture. Guides excellent. Camel ride awesome Need some down time. Loved people
What an amazing time my 5 friends and I had in Morocco in September.I visited in May 2022 with Sirocco and both trips were beyond wonderful. This year our guide Radouane and driver Issa went above and beyond expectations to make our trip so memorable. By the time our almost 3 week tour was over, they became like family to us. We stayed in such beautiful Riads, learned so many new facts about Morocco, the Berber culture, enjoyed delicious food, and most of all sang, laughed, and listened to Moroccan music as we drove along the highways of Morocco awestruck by the incredible scenery. The 3 days in the desert were amazing staying at the Desert Villa, eating delicious food, camping ,and listening to incredible music, and riding there on camels. Our wonderful guide and driver made our trip so wonderful by taking such good care of us. They were amazing.
I give Sirico Tours the highest praise possible. The organization catered to what we wanted to see and were quite flexible. Our group of six rode in a very comfortable nine passenger van. Our guide, Radoune, was knowledgeable, personable and very courteous. He took us to sites and shops that we would have missed had we been on our own. His English is very good and he helped us with translation and culture do’s and don’ts. Our driver, Issa, is a safe driver and kept a close eye on our belongings. He always put our safety first. I will define work with Siroco Tours again.
We are a Canadian couple 53-58. From my first contact with Alexandra, she was professional, attentive to every detail, she answered all my many questions. We created the perfect customized private tour for us. We had a reliable, nice and clean véhicule. Our driver Rachid was cautious, he knew the country roads and we always felt in security. He spoke with passion about his religion, the history and sites of Morocco. He was always prepared to make an extra stop and made sure we did not miss anything along the way. We were warmly greeted in every single hotel and Riad. Every accommodation was extraordinary and we started everyday with a generous and delicious breakfast. The guides we had in some of the cities were nice and knowledgeable. One word for this tour is ‘’perfect’’. We highly recommend Siroco tour.
What sets them apart from other agencies is the customer service and genuine desire to leave us with a memorable experience. We will definitely use them in the future.
We had a wonderful trip with Siroco tours. We were two couples in a 8-seat minivan. Our guide, Mohamed, went above and beyond to ensure we have fun, accomplish all we wanted to do and enjoy the country, cuisine and excursions. He took us to local restaurants that were much better than the touristic ones. Alexandra and Leonor had a couple of zoom meeting with us prior to the trip and ensured all our questions and concerns were addressed and tailored the trip to our wishes. Overall, we had a very nice trip.
Amazing tour! I loved all the trip, really good people to share and learn more about Morroco! The desert was the best experience 💚
I recently had the pleasure of embarking on an extraordinary adventure with Sirocco Tours, through the landscapes of Morocco. From the captivating city of Fes to the bustling streets of Marrakech, the ethereal Merzouga desert, and the cinematic allure of Ouarzazate, every moment was extraordinary. From the very beginning, Sirocco Tours showcased their professionalism and dedication to providing an impeccable travel experience. Their knowledgeable and friendly staff ensured that my journey would be one to remember. With their well-organized itinerary, I was able to witness the most remarkable aspects of Morocco's diverse culture, heritage, and natural wonders. Fes was an absolute feast for the senses. Their local guides guided us through the winding alleys of the medina and historical landmarks. Marrakech, the vibrant heart of Morocco, offered a mesmerizing blend of tradition and modernity. However, the true highlight of my journey came when we ventured into the untamed beauty of the Merzouga desert. Sirocco Tours flawlessly orchestrated every aspect of our desert excursion, providing comfortable accommodations and skilled guides who made sure our experience was both safe and inspiring. The exhilarating camel trek across the mesmerizing golden dunes, followed by a night in a luxurious desert camp. Ouarzazate was another gem on our journey. The guides introduced us to the region's cinematic allure, taking us to the majestic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Exploring the ancient walls of this extraordinary fortress and learning about its storied history was an absolute delight. Throughout the entire journey, Sirocco displayed attention to detail, seamless logistics, and knowledgeable guides ensured that every aspect of the tour was meticulously planned and executed. The comfort of their vehicles and the punctuality of their drivers added an extra layer of convenience and peace of mind. I recommend Sirocco Tours to any traveler seeking a remarkable adventure in Morocco.
Went on a 10 day trip with friends and our guide for the trip was Moha. Whole experience was amazing, Alexandra and Leonor were always ready to answer questions, booking went smooth. We were picked up at the airport in Casablanca, didn't have to worry about a thing. We had a plan but Moha always asked us what kind of places would we rather see / how much time would we like to have for certain activities. As you go from city to city you spend some time in a car, but ours was very comfortable. I never once got car sick (despite often having problems with it) and our guide's driving skills are superb. Felt safe and comfortable. Also as you go in the car, you don't go through empty roads or highways-, I was looking out the window all the time. Beautiful stunning sights, small villages on the way, etc. The hotels we stayed in were most of the time like art galleries. Was looking forward to seeing another hotel. Really, they were beautiful. It was one of the best trips of my life, I love exploring and seeing new things and this one delivered. We ate local food in places that Moha reccomended, seen many famous and not-so-famous sights and had lots of fun with all the activities. Everything was amazing, stress free, definitely big big reccomend
Me and my friend traveled from Casablanca to Fes, to the Sahara, to Marrakech and and back all within 8 days. It was a lot of driving, but an exceptional experience due to the help of our Guide/Driver Hassan. He was so kind, friendly, knowledgeable, patient and navigated his way though the long drives effortlessly. And also thanks to Leonor who arranged our tour program. The Riads chosen for us were great, and I highly recommend everyone Sirocco Tours. :)
This was the trip of a lifetime thanks to our wonderful guide Mohammad and Siroco Tours. 12 days of magical Morocco from the cities to the desert to the mountains to the ocean! Even in the planning stages from our home in New York, Siroco made it so easy for our family of 5. The moment we met Mohammad at the airport, our learning adventure began. He is the most knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful guide and shared amazing history of Morocco and his Berber heritage. There didn’t seem to be a single question he wasn’t able to answer or an area he didn’t know all about! The whole trip was customized to our family’s interests and Mohammad added extra special touches like arranging a surprise birthday cake at the restaurant for my son’s birthday. We knew this would be an amazing trip, but we could never have imagined the extraordinary experience that Siroco and Mohammad would create for us. We have already recommended them to multiple friends and will definitely be back for future adventures. You cannot go wrong exploring Morocco with this team!
Our group just returned from a 10 day trip across Morocco with Siroco Tours. We highly recommend them! Everything about the trip was spot on. Our guide, Mouhssine, was a great source of information throughout the trip and went above and beyond to make sure our trip ran smoothly. He was also so much fun to be with. The communications with Alexandra were timely and thorough. And the sites in Morocco are spectacular. We especially enjoyed Chefchaouen and the trip to the desert. The accommodations were lovely, mostly staying in riads and small inns. Our time in Morocco was magical, thanks to the spectacular folks at Siroco tours.
We delighted by spending 10 wonderful days in Morocco with the help of Siroco Tours! The country is packed with the ancient history and different climate zones. Hospitality, quality of food and service are very high. Roads and highways are great. Local prices are very affordable. Special thanks to our guide/driver Mohammed for his unbelievable service and incredible driving skills. He was a rock! Many thanks to Alexandra who had organized this private tour!
My wife and I recently returned from a wonderful trip we had booked through Siroco Tours. From the very first contact through the day we returned home, it was a frictionless experience. Our guide, Mohammed was wonderful. His driving was excellent, and his history lessons were informative. He ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The country was beautiful and the local guides we were paired with made it a very informative and pleasant experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Siroco tours and especially our guide, Mohammed. It was simply a wonderful and unforgettable journey.
We had a wonderful trip arranged by Siroco Tours. We have seen and experienced what we expected from the trip and beyond. Due to our time constrains and arrival from different cities,Siroco Tours was able to complement our needs and adjusted the trip plans accordingly. A special thanks to our driver and guide Mohssin. Bedsides being a courteous gentlemelan, Mohssin is an experienced driver and tourguide, knowing the visited places very well. Thabk you and I have already recommended Socoro to couple of friends who are planning Morocco trips. Ying
I was impressed from the very first email. Alexandra was superb , she answered all my questions and gave great recommendations. Thanks again for the birthday cakes. Our driver Salah and guide “Red One” were amazing. They quickly became friends, and our Moroccan brothers. They accommodated anything we asked. Trust me you will enjoy your trip if you get paired with them. The Mirage luxury camp was awesome, the team are great at everything - photography, cooking, singing… this team definitely made us feel like family so much so we are flying the Morocco flag in this World Cup. Thanks again for a trip of a lifetime.
This was indeed an amazing and unforgettable trip. Me and my cousin just got back from our 10 day trip to Morrocco and I'm physically back but mentally I'm still in Morocco. What a charming cultural country is it. The local people there are so very nice, so welcoming and kind. Great hospitality everywhere we went. To begin with, I would like to thank Pedro and Alexandra for creating an amazing itinerary for us. They were very prompt with communication and Alexandra made sure our trip was tailored to our needs. She took every little request of ours into consideration and made it happen. Everything from start to end, from airport transfers to beautiful Riad accommodations, to private guides, to restaurant recommendations were on point. Alexandra - you are the best! Our driver/guide Ahmed was absolutely amazing. He took great care of us during the entire trip. He was very knowledgeable, professional , gave us great insight on Morroccon history and helped us with shopping. He made us comfortable and safe and always accompanied us when needed. We laughed alot and shared lots of stories during our drive. Thank u Ahmed for everything. A special thank you to our guide Hamid in Fes, Hamid in Imlil and Mustaffa in Marrakech. They were amazing and shared alot of knowledge with us and took amazing photos for me. My favorite highlight on the trip was Merzouga Desert and night in the Mirage Luxury camp ( best glamping ever).Mohammed at the camp was soo soo charming. He made our stay amazing and unforgettable. Thank you for the great experience. I highly recommend Siroco Tours .They are very professional and will definitely make your trip enjoyable and unforgettable. Morocco is beautiful!
Wow just wow. Was part of a group of 8 and went with the 12 seater bus to give everyone some extra space. Which really is a blessing on the longer portions of the tour. Sirocco tours set out a superb tour which was for me not only a great immersion but also a sampler for a definately second visit. The accommodations and food at each stop were well chosen. Except for Hotel Xaluca Dadès. For all its luxury look, we preferred the RIAD experience in each city and of course the desert camp Mirage Luxury Camp was heavenly experience. Next trip will be staying for a couple more nights. The Driver Shalah was excellent and safe. And amazed us at times with his skills in tight spaces. Our guide Reduone was well informed and handled check ins at accommodations made things so smooth. They were both so professional in being on time, and making sure everything was organised, safe, and interesting. I just can't recommend Sirocco Tours and their Guides enough.
We just finished our 10-day Morocco trip with Siroco and Hassan. Morocco was not like anywhere we’ve been before. It’s unlikely we’ll see another country like Morocco again. It’s not an easy job working long hours day after day and dealing with people from all walks of life with good attitude. Hussan was always very attentative, courteous and patient. Our favourite stop was the desert. We especially appreciated his firsthand knowledge and perspective of the area. We got to learn so much about the nomads, the oasis and the local market - which were all very interesting! Hussan was open about what he considered to be "tourist traps" and his recommendations were all spot-on. On multiple occasions he helped us to bargain as well! The entire trip went on without a hitch for us. We also found the local guided tours in Fes and Marrakech to be very informative. Often times we even forgot to take pictures because we were trying to absorb all the info. Shout out to our Fes local guide Hajar (who’s one of the only female guides)! It’s difficult to condense 10-day of experience into a snippet. Overall the tour was great and we’d highly recommend it to anyone interested in the history/culture/way of life in Morocco!
Siroco Tours and Alexandra did a great job customizing our 12 day tour so we had a great time in Morocco. Moha Louahachi, our driver and guide, was superb and because of him we learned a lot about Morocco and the Berber culture since he grew up in the desert. We had great conversations for the 11 days of driving and he was always on time and flexible with our desires. The two local guides, Lahcen in Fez and Moubarak in Marrakech, really showed us the Medina, Souks, artisans and taught us about the towns and the local culture. Our Class 4 hotels were excellent, especially the Riads in Rabat and Fez not to mention the Desert Villas in Merzouga and the Mirage desert Camp that were quite fun with the camel ride in between. We got nice recommendations for dinners and my wife’s birthday supper. I would book with Siroco again anytime when we are in Morocco.
We had an amazing trip to Morocco with Siroco Tours. Bookings and getting our customizations was a breeze with Alexandra and Pedro. Our tour driver/guide, Moussin, was great! He was very professional, helpful and easy going. He was happy to make stops for random photos and short breaks along our drive. We stayed at 5-star hotels and riads through our trip. Overall, our accommodations were excellent. The desert was our highlight! Highly recommend Siroco tours! I give 5-stars!
We, as a family, haven't had a more incredible holiday before... all thanks to Siroco. Let me start by why we chose to go for a guided tour across Morocco. Its a huge country and to be able to fully immerse oneself in its culture and wealth of history, we felt it would be best to have a fully customised, guided tour. So I started by looking up tour agents on Tripadvisor and sent emails to three highly rated agent. Right at the onset, the immense detail and professionalism in the email sent by Alexandra and Pedro at Siroco tours made it crystal clear for me that this is indeed my choice. We badgered them a million times over to fine tune our plan but their patience with our endless queries and demands was really commendable. They were polite and personable and just so forthcoming with all kinds of help. We covered Marrkech-casablance-rabat-ifran-arzou- Fez-volubilis-erfoud-mezouga-todra gorges and valley- dadas gorge and valley-ourrzazate- rissani-Khamlia and much much more... all in 10 days with my beyond amazing driver and guide Driss. He became like family and did not leave us alone at any point. I dont know how many more words I am allowed to add here in the review but I could spend a day or more writing praises for this amazing tour agency. Do not even think twice before reaching out to them to help you plan your spiritual, life changing... emotionally enriching journey across this most astounding country which is not just walls and structures... but a whole lot of heart.
We did a 5 day private desert tour starting in Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Merzouga - Errachidia and all the way up to Fes with Siroco. Before the trip: perfect communication by e-mail with Alexandra, we had to change the traveling dates and the group several times and she was able to accommodate for that easily and fast. During the trip: Mohammed was our guide, and he is professional and kind. He knows the country very well, is an excellent driver and companion! The minivan was new and comfortable. The tour went exactly as planned and we got to see the real Morocco and its people outside the big cities. After the trip: we are glad we chose Siroco and recommend it to whoever is planning to visit Morocco. Obrigada! Mónica
Excellent private tour. I have spent 14 days visiting Morocco with 2 young children and it went very well. We had Mohammed as our guide from Siroco Tours that never left our side and always assured we were well. The hotels we stayed at were very good, as I have asked. We visited a lot. Seen a lot. What a trip! Had never done it without Sirico Tours.
My son (16 yrs old) and I just finished an 11-day private tour with Sirocco tours visiting Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, Ziz valley, Sahara Desert, and Marrakesh. Our guide Hassan was a good guide and friend to us. He guided the entire road from the crazy traffic in the cities to the mountain passes. We had many wonderful and fun episodes; most of all, Hassan is really gotten friends with my son. We had a Berber Pizza at his house and met his family members. Thank you to your family for welcoming us into their home. We were always welcomed from everywhere; Their foods were abundant and tasty. All our accommodations were impeccably clean and safe. People around us are always helpful and give us a good impression. Everywhere is perfect and brings us many memories. Especially, the Sahara Desert was a breathtaking view of wonders. We went on a camel ride to the Mirage Luxury Desert tent; the entire tent was comfortable, especially the workers. We also have a chance to meet nomad families who actually live in the Sahara Desert area and the high Atlas Mountains. Many thanks for the Sirocco tour, Alexandra for initial tour plans, Mohammed for checking all our trip process and making sure every step, Friends of Nomad (Youssef), and most of all our driver, Hassan. Without their faithful commitment to their work, we cannot finish this trip with wonderful unforgettable events. We’ll back there with many other friends and families in near future.
