My mom and I booked a 10 day tour of Morocco with Tilila Travel. From the initial planning of the itinerary and trip, we had great service. Mohammed was always very responsive and quick to make any changes desired to the itinerary and quick to answer any questions in a timely manner. We were provided with a very detailed itinerary with day by day plan as well as all the booked hotels a few weeks prior to departure. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our driver Abdel, who accompanied us throughout our 10 day trip. Abdel was very respectful, made us feel comfortable and safe and was always very accommodating. He had a great, joyful attitude and made the long car rides to different cities more enjoyable. The tour was seamless, from hotel check ins to arranged guides in each major city. Very professional, punctual and great English speaking guides. We loved the experience and would highly recommend.

My mom and I had an amazing 10-day tour of Morocco with Tilila Travel! From the initial planning to the end of our trip, the service was exceptional. Mohammed was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and helpful throughout the planning process, and provided us with a detailed itinerary that made everything seamless. Our driver, Abdel, was wonderful—professional, respectful, and always attentive to our needs. His positive attitude made the long drives between cities enjoyable, and we always felt safe and comfortable with him. Everything was extremely well organized, from hotel check-ins to the knowledgeable English-speaking guides in each city. We truly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend Tilila Travel to anyone visiting Morocco!
This was an amazing experience! All of our guides were wonderful and our driver Yassin was amazing and very attentive. We loved seeing Morroco and all of the scenery/landscspe. The accommodates were beautiful as well. Highly recommend Tilila Travel.
I was connected with Tilila travels through Rough Guides. We worked with Mohamed , the owner, on the details and he accommodated all of our changes/request and were able to create a trip based on timing, budget, duration and things we wanted to see in Morocco. Communication prior and during the trip was excellent. Our trip started off with a guided tour of Marrakech with our guide, Ibrahim, who was fantastic - helped us find some off the grid souks and gave us a unique local perspective into Marrakech and its history that we would never have received on our own. I also was not feeling too hot and he made sure to check in and make stops when needed. Our driver, Mohamed (not the tour owner), for our 9 day road trip around Morocco, was a true superstar. He made our trip such an amazing adventure, paying attention to our likes and dislikes and really took care of us like family. All of our stops (Dades Gorge, Fes, Chefchaouen, Rabat, and Casablanca) were incredible to experience and the local city guides assigned to us took it to another level. The only exception was the Sahara desert camp which just wasn’t our cup of tea, but Mohamed the owner did address our feedback which was nice. Other than that, the whole trip was amazing and we would recommend Tilila to anyone looking to visit Morocco.
We did the tour de Morocco; a clockwise loop starting in Casablanca, through Rabat and up to Chefchaouen, then to Fes, the eastern desert, the Dadès region, and Marrakech. It was a wonderful mix of city, history, desert, mountains, and markets. Highlights were the religious sites and kasbahs, Chefchaouen, Fes, Dadès, visiting a nomad camp. and a cooking class in Marrakech. The desert camp was less interesting for me. In retrospect I'd trade it for a day in Tangier. Our driver Walid was incredible. He was a good problem solver and we felt totally safe with him.
My husband and I traveled with Tilila Travel to Morocco from the USA in April 2026. We had an amazing, memorable experience that exceeded all of my expectations. I am 69 years old and have chronic pain issues with my back, hips, and knees, although I am pretty strong and mobile. I’m not able to do everything with ease, though, and I asked for some accommodations to allow me to enjoy Morocco despite my limitations. Tilila Travel really came through for me! They were wonderful about letting me pick and choose my activities, and to shorten them when needed. I got to see and do almost everything I had hoped to! Our driver Walid was a gem of a human being. He showed endless patience and kindness. Individual day-trip guides were excellent and also willing to work with me. What stood out the most to me was how trustworthy this company was. We were always safe and taken care of. They showed up for us every time, without exception! Communication was excellent from the planning stage throughout the tour. Our driver was available for us at all times. Accommodations were top notch. I wasn’t sure what to expect but this is an adventure after all! Most places were beyond wonderful, and the ones that weren’t perfect were still very comfortable and met all of our needs. Overall I LOVED our trip and I highly recommend Tilila Travel. This is true adventure with comfort and great service! Our
The tour was well organized. Muhahmed went out of his way to put a perfect itinerary together when I reached out to him on short notice and took care all of all our requirements. His attention to details was amazing. Rachid was our day to day tour guide and he was just awesome!! Highly recommend booking your next trip to Morocco through Tilila(Freedom) travel.
If you are looking for a memorable travel experience, look no further than Tilila Travel's private tours. We chose the 10-day private tour (although they can create flexible itineraries for fewer days or extended travel days). Having researched several companies, it was the high level customer service Mohamed provided, the slew of positive reviews, his attention to detail, willingness to make some adjustments to the itinerary--that led to my decision to go with Tilila Travel. I am so happy that I did! If you are lucky enough to have Yassin as your driver, you will be instantly well taken care of. Yassin is equally mature and responsible, fluent in French, Spanish, Arabic and English. He is an excellent driver and easily accommodates for bathroom breaks and stops along the way. Yassin is extremely knowledgeable about Moroccan history, current events, etc. I have learned so much more than I ever imaged, (a bonus for sure), thanks to him being a great teacher as well. I came away with a new found appreciation for Morocco. Suffice it to say, that Yassin will be able to trouble shoot whatever issue comes up, allowing you to feel safe and well cared for the entire trip. There are several other drivers, that, like Yassin, are equally as competent, and are warm and friendly people! Accomodations/Riads/hotels were top notch. The only disappointment was the spa/massage at Riad Salam Fed, which was unprofessional, lacking in hygiene and not up to US standards. Our travels took us to several cities. The local city guides that we had were all excellent and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I look forward to returning to Morocco and connecting on another private tour w/our dear friends Mohamed and Yasin of Tilila Travel. Asalam Alaykoum!
We landed in Casablanca airport with misplacement and held up of our baggage. Our driver Youssef waited patiently for two extra hours to pick us up. Our ten day tour started from checking in to a nice hotel with a big room by the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the accommodations we had during the trip were nice Riads in central locations. Though weather through out the trip was a bit disappointing, we were lucky to have Youssef as our driver. He drove safely in a pretty new SUV and gave us good information on Morocco. Youssef took us to local markets to see how everyday life in Morocco is like and he taught us some basic Moroccan. A thunderstorm at the Sahara desert spoiled the highlight of our trip so I think I need to go to Morocco again and have Mohamed arrange everything for us since he is easy to communicate with. Thank you Mohamed and Youssef.
Mohamed pulled together a great seven day tour on short notice. He listened to my needs especially since I have been to Morocco two other times and provided unique Riads and hotel lodging that I prefer. He arranged all the guides in each city of which were all friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Mohamed took the time to check in with me throughout the week to assure that I was having a good time. And of course I was. He asked that I contact him should I have any questions or concerns. That surely made me feel comfortable and secure on this weeklong solo trip. Mustapha was assigned as my driver and was a perfect gentleman. He was professional, polite, friendly and lots of fun. Upon carrying my luggage, he always confirmed the lodging reservations and assured I was comfortable and before leaving he confirmed our next meet up. He also kept in close contact to assure my needs were being met. I’m not sure what is in his job description, but he was a good sport in accompanying me for many a meal or an activity, as it’s always nice to have some company. Being from America and not shy and somewhat opinionated, we had lots of laughs on how I/we act and speak due to our different cultures. I learned a few things along the way, as did he. Thanks buddy.
Let me start by saying I had a really great experience with Mohamed and Tilila Travel. My wife booked some plane tickets to Morocco and heard from ppl that getting a tour guide was the way to go. We typically don't on trips we take but I contacted a number of companies to get quotes on packages they offered. We ultimately went with Tilila for a few reasons: - responses were quick and in clear English - Mohamed took the time to answer all questions and was flexible with any updates to the itinerary - their quoted price was very competitive - reviews online were good The point about reviews was a tricky one b/c I had a nagging feeling reading them wondering if they were legit reviews or just some shady agency creating ghost accounts to post glowing reviews (this wasn't specific to Tilila). Ultimately I paid the 10% deposit and took the plunge. Other agencies I'd talked to were asking for 100% of the payment upfront and they're probably fine but I just wasn't comfortable with that. Having just gotten back from Morocco, I can 100% say I'm glad I booked a guide and specifically Tilila Travel. We did the 10 day trip in a private vehicle with just the two of us starting in Casablanca and ending in Marrakech. All the reviews and pictures are great but it is a lot of driving and time in a car to get around the country. I probably fell asleep in the car on every leg of the trip and it was nice knowing that I could sleep and not have to worry about driving in a foreign country while tired. There are a lot(!) of police stops on the roads checking speeds and I probably would have gotten more than one ticket if I were driving so this was another thing to not have to worry about. I was a little worried with all the time in the car with just the driver that it would be awkward but we had pleasant experiences with ours. We had Hassan and Khalid for different portions of the trip but both were really cool. Both shared knowledge of the areas we were driving through, both skillful drivers, and made the travel a breeze. There wasn't any pressure from them to hurry through a given stop and allowed as much time as we wanted. I lost my sunglasses and asked Hassan to see if we could stop somewhere to get a new pair which led us to a local market in a small village for a random stop on the trip. Wasn't able to get a new pair there but got some delicious popcorn while we got to catch a glimpse of local life in the market. Not something we would have done or found without a guide I don't think. Since they both spoke Berber and Arabic, it made coordinating so much easier when they'd call the dar/riads to schedule porters to come pick us up and drop us off when cars couldn't go into the old medinas. Another bonus of getting a guide. Overall we had a wonderful time in Morocco and in no small part to Mohamed (who btw does exist b/c we met him at a cafe in Marrakech to catch up)and team. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a guide in Morocco.
Overall, very nice tour and experience. Mohamed was very patient with me and all my questions I had before and during the trip. Yassin was a friendly and accommodating driver. Some of the trip highlights: - Chefchaouen: walking through the beautiful blue streets and our delicious breakfast at our hotel (Dar Jasmine). - Fes: walking through and seeing all the different sections of the bustling market. -Merzouga: enjoying sunset and we also did a buggy tour which was awesome. -Boumalne dades: the gourmet dinner we had at our riad (Dar Jnan Tiouira) - Imlil: the walk through the different villages, this is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains (we could’ve easily spent another night here) - Marrakech: the square at night, it was so vibrant and exciting with all the music, food, etc. Some things to keep in mind: - Do your research ahead of time and if there’s something you’re interested advise Mohamed and be very clear/make sure it’s included on your itinerary. - Tipping: bring cash. - Certain stores & restaurants are cash only - There’s a lot of driving involved, some stretches of the drive it’s enjoyable to just lookout the windows, and others it might be nice to just read a book. - Each evening reconfirm with your driver the activities for the next day and ask about recommendations on attire. - If you’re looking for certain goods (rugs, etc.) tell that guide that’s doing your city tool, or maybe even Mohamed in advance. Overall, this is a magnificent country with so much to offer. I can confidently say that Moroccans not only have a rich culture, but some of the warmest/hospitable people I have come across in my travels. This includes Mohamed and his team.
Our Moroccan In-Depth Cultural tour with Tilila Travel was excellent. My wife and I chose the 10 day excursion beginning in Casablanca as it provided a wonderful overview of what Morocco has to offer, including its history, geography, architecture, ethnicity and food. From the outset we were contacted directly by Mohamed from Tilila Travel and had numerous conversations and messaging in advance to accommodate our needs and interests. He checked on our progress during, arranged a last minute request for a cooking class, and then met us at the end for coffee and mint tea. His warm, hands-on approach turned out to be indicative of the friendly and helpful nature of the fine people we met along this amazing journey. From the start with our very safe and competent driver and guide, Ibrahim, we were introduced to the beauty and charm of Morocco. There are not enough superlatives to describe the natural wonders, the luxurious Riad, Dar or Berber Tent, nor the exacting workmanship evident in the Kasbahs and Mosques. I will let our photos do the job. We were fortunate to be on a tour just for two, but if you select any one of Tilila's tours, you will not be disappointed.
Our travel experience with Tilila Travel with our guide Yassin was awesome. My girlfriend and I got lucky and ended-up just the two of us with Yassin for the whole tour. We then had nice and interesting conversations with Yassin all along. Hotel and Riad rooms were in great shape. Also, you might want to consider the room/tent upgrade for the night in the desert. It costed us an extra 50USD per person, but depending on what you’re looking for, it might be worth it for you. Don’t hesitate to ask for details. Mohamed, the owner, is highly responsive and very kind. It’s a lot of drive, but you get to see a lot of places for the time you have there. And, I wouldn’t skip Chefchaouen. It was one of our highlights. Also, I’m pretty sure their team counts noumerous great guides and drivers, but if you get to choose, we would highly recommend Yassin. He’s such a kind and caring person. He’s also really knowlegeable and funny. You’ll love him.
It was an amaizing trip I feel like a Morroca princesss all the time. The hotel are awsome and Youssef was very kind when I got sick he got me medication and food. Good bless his hearth. I highly recomend this trip. Great people.
The tour is amazing! Tilila Travel is taking care of everyday of our trip in Morocco. We are two people only and travel from the US. Mohammed helps find a great driver for us for the 10 days and the hotel is very comfy. We also have professional tour guide with us and only for us two in Fez, Merzouga, and Marrakech! I highly recommend our driver Mr. Walid! He is soooooooo nice and professional! He is super flexible and respects our time a lot! He has been driving for 27 years! Very nice man! I recommend you ask for him as your trip companion:) Very great experience with him!
Tilila was a great company to go with and has great drivers. Our driver, Yassin spoke great English and was fun to talk to on the longer drives. Vehicle was a modern van with plenty of space and good A/C. Much easier to get around with a van than those large buses full of 30, 40, 50 people. Tilila was great to work with and they reached out about and other things we wanted to see or do. You have the option of upgrading hotels if you'd like as well which was really nice. I would recommend that if you can, you skip Casablanca and only go there for a few hours. The city is just your typical City and only a few attractions. If possible stay in Rabat the first night or somewhere along the way outside Casablanca. Rabat has a couple more interesting things to see. We also wished we could have stayed in Dades Valley longer since it's so picturesque and the ambiance is so much more relaxed.
We had a tour of our life time traveling with Tilial and took National Geographic-esque photos the entire trip. In 10 days we covered 5 major cities, visited grand palaces, ancient mosques, UNESCO heritage sites, meandered in the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, rode Camels in the immense Sahara at sunset, spent a starry night in luxurious camp in the middle of desert, bargained and bantered with merchants in the vibrant souks. Every day is full of excitement and action packed. Hospitable hotels and attentive tour guides made us feel at home in a foreign country. This tour is well organized and reasonably priced. We’d recommend it to anyone planning on having an unforgettable Moroccan experience.
Simply the 10 days trip to Morocco was amazing, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful country and eating great fruits and vegetables.
