Holland House Hotel Cardiff By Sunday

Tbh we didn't stay in a room but the spa day package was fantastic. We loved the facilities, spa staff and afternoon tea. Would definitely return even if just to use the pool. The spa/changing rooms were very warm but it was a nice escape from the rain. We wish there was some meat options that were halal in the afternoon tea given the venue hosts many asian/Muslim weddings but everything was still lush ans great value for money. Love the spa stuff they were super friendly as well and welcoming. The Ishga treatment was also fab!

Terrible experience. I booked this hotel through Booking.com, and nowhere was it clearly mentioned that parking would cost £25 for 24 hours. When we arrived, we were told we had to pay £25 for parking, but there was no guarantee that we would have a space. If you leave the car park and return to find it full, or someone else takes your space, the staff said that it is not their responsibility. What makes this even more frustrating is that they clearly cannot keep track of how many people have paid for parking, especially if the payment is made online. The staff were also extremely unhelpful. One of the ladies was giving me looks and laughing when I raised my concerns about the parking. She simply told me that it was not her problem. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The parking charges and conditions should be made clear when booking, and the staff should be much more helpful and professional when dealing with customers.

Stayed Fri 26 to Sun 28 June on floor 15 Room was great and very clean. Big room, big bathroom. Breakfast was included in my stay and good. I used the pool and pool facilities - shout out to the gentleman (Febion ?) who was cleaning the changing rooms and doing a grand job. Reception (Em and Rithika) were great. Very busy weekend due to all the concerts in the castle, proms and I think Metallica were in town, so hats off to a busy hotel, as everything was great.

This hotel use to be loverly stay in tbe city center for reasonable price with extras like break fast and parking and spa facilities but don’t be fooled we booked on bookings .com and they took our card details for security because we paid cash on arrival we were charged more on top of that they wanted a cash holding deposit £100 on top of the room cost when we asked for recipe they told us they couldn’t do so. Then when we went to go use the spa facilities we were told it was charge even though we were staying guests the overall welcome has gone. The room rate may seem reasonable but don’t be fooled the added extra you could stay in much nicer hotel with a pleasant service which you won’t get here
