We stayed at the Future Inn Cardiff for one night while passing through. The welcome was exceptionally friendly and attentive, definitely worth highlighting!
Our room was clean and had everything we needed, although the hotel feels a little dated overall. Perfectly fine for a short stopover, but nothing particularly special.
A nice bonus is the pleasant walk along the waterfront and canal towards Cardiff city centre.
Overall, a decent choice for a night, with particularly lovely staff at reception!
Perfectly located nearby the docks. Very nice spacious rooms with the widest corridors I have ever seen in a hotel in the UK.

We recently held our annual awards celebration evening at the Future Inn, Cardiff Bay and were delighted by the service we received and how we were taken care of by the staff at the hotel. Communication was excellent through the booking and planning process. Check in was run efficiently and rooms were very nice. Catering was very high quality and service smooth. Our event saw 180 attendees and 65 overnight guests and the hotel managed our stay, dining and entertainment expertly. Thank you Nolly, Martin and the whole team.
Uncomfortable beds and no extra pillows available when asked, reception staff didn't seem bothered but restaurant staff are fantastic. Signs give conflicting information eg sign in room says 24 hour room service but website and the sign in lift say until 10pm. Ice bucket in room and signs saying ice machine on first floor but follow the signs and nothing no ice machine at all just laundry machines . One lift not working for duration of our stay which wasnt ideal for disabled guests which we saw waiting a long time to get in the lifts as cleaners and other staff were also only able to use the one lift. Great location in the bay otherwise but hotel just needs more attention
I attended here for a book event at the start of the month.
I didn't stay but experienced their conference rooms and their bar.
The conference room was poorly temperature controlled with the AC doing absolutely nothing to cool the room down. The bar was very pricey given the location though the chips we had were very tasty.
Alright venue but changes to the air con and the prices would make it better especially as it's not close enough to Cardiff bay to command highetened prices in my opinion
